I recently purchased the Turtle Beach headset and overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option with some noteworthy features. The stereo sound is impressive, and the remote buttons for muting and volume control add convenience. The sound quality of both the microphone and headphones exceeded my expectations for the price. However, it’s worth mentioning that the cushioning at the top is on the smaller side. If you have longer ears, you might experience some irritation after wearing the headset for more extended periods or immediately after taking it off. Despite this comfort quirk, it’s a decent choice for those seeking good audio performance without breaking the bank.
In this range of price, this is one of the best products that I’ve had. The quality of mic and the speaker cushion is really good. It’s designed beautifully and it does the job. The only downside is that the cable isn’t long enough. But not a major issue.
In terms of sound quality, the Recon 50 delivers decent audio. While it may not offer the highest fidelity compared to more premium options, it provides clear sound for both gaming and general media. The headset’s microphone also performs reasonably well, allowing for clear communication during multiplayer gaming. Added bonus is possibility of detaching mic.

I ordered this headset for my Xbox and was very happy with it, has a great microphone for the price has easy to control buttons and has good sound quality 8/10 for me GREAT FOR ITS PRICE
I bought it as recently I bought a not very good headset, I was sceptical for the price, they came within 24 hours and I tested them straight away.
As soon as I put them on, they were comfortable, the sound quality was amazing and because I stream I obviously need a good mic with it, the mic quality is amazing too.

The audio quality is decent, you are able to hear people clearly and this ultimately means the headphones themselves are good. The jacks are durable and will not break easily, so that means if they stop working, you are more likely to have a flaw in the specific model or you’ve dropped it quite a lot or similar than it actually being a fault with the product as a whole. The microphone, does not have an echo, so that is fantastic for anyone who does not want one, which I would assume is most people since it is an inconvenience to everyone else you talk to.
This headset includes the mute for your microphone on the headset, as most headsets do, which is a useful feature and nice to have for quickly muting your microphone, especially if there is a disturbance nearby. It also has your general volume management wheel which is on most headsets as well, although it would be nice for it to be able to get louder in some circumstances.
Overall, this is a very solid headset, it is affordable, trustable, and you should not necessarily need to get a replacement quickly as it works just fine. Please ensure though that you do not drop, throw or anything of the sort to your headset, and then complain that it does not work or stopped working. The audio quality COULD be better, but it isn’t bad by any means, and this is a fairly cheap headset in comparison to others. So, fairly solid headset, I do recommend this one.
(FYI – I am not sure what the differences are for each headset meant for a specific console, please take this as a review for the Xbox One headset)
I’ve had these before and they are pretty good.
The sound and mic are clear and ive no fault at all with them. The reason it gets 4* is because like all wired headphones they will eventually break after a few months.
* Cable is on the slightly shorter side but useable
* Does take a while to loosen up and fit your head comfortably
Great product, ive had these for years but my old ones recently broke so i was reordering!
They lasted me about 4-5 years and could have lasted longer if my childish self didnt feel the need to chew the cable at points. My problem is that the cable is pretty short, ive always had this problem with them but its still easily useable. My other problem is that theyre really tight on your head for the first day or 2, but they soon loosen a bit to fit your head. 9/10
For the price, this is a decent headset for gaming.
They are colour-coded for different consoles but any colour can be used for any console with a 3.5mm/standard headphone connection; for example, my son uses the green one (marketed as Xbox) with his Nintendo Switch.
Great for the kids who go through em like anything.
Voice transmission is clear for others and in game sound is good too. For the price you can’t fault em.

I previously bought this turtle beach headset a few years back, I was one of my best purchases I ever made. This headset previously lasted for a long time and only faulted because of an accident I did to it, nothing to do with product itself but my stupidity. These headphones feel comfortable and it really pairs well with my Xbox mic adapter, allowing for good quality sound from the players and game. My package arrived safely and works great. Overall I am happy with this product and would say it is good for its price and a safe purchase for people looking for a relatively cheap purchase.
These headphones are worth every penny. The sound quality is brilliant not just for gaming but for movies and music if required. They are a sturdy hard wearing design capable of putting up with whatever gamers can conjure up. Happy with them and the price . Well recommend from myself . * * * * *
Absolutely brilliant headset.. no feedback or echo and works perfectly sounds great too. The only downside is it is ever so slightly tough on the top of the head, can cause a bit of pressure/soreness unless wore loosely. For the money I would give it 5 stars, taking money out of the equation I would give it a good 4.5 (I bought it in white for my series S and black for my series X)

Bought this for my son to use on his Xbox S and he loves it! Works great and no issues
One of my twins asked for this for Christmas and seems to love it. My only gripe is that sometimes when we call him for dinner he doesn’t hear us! Having said that, this particular child and me have spent the last 5 days in a room together isolating from the rest of the family and I’ve been able to work without any noise distraction (he has also been plugged into his laptop – doing some schoolwork at times I hasten to add!), the headphones seem comfy and work well, as long as he remembers to plug them into the laptop!!
I think these are pretty good for the price. I do content creation on YouTube although the mic isn’t amazing it still holds up good. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHOS LOOKING FOR A CHEAP AND COMFORTABLE HEADSET
Couldn’t be happier the price was very cheap and the quality is very hi I still feel like I underpaid very high quality speakers and the noise canceling is also good.

I love the headset! It is comfortable to wear, has great speakers and a great Mic. It also is compatible for PC, Xbox and PlayStation. It is the greatest purchase I have made so far.
My teenaged son has been hammering a pair of these on his PS4 for well over three years before he managed to develop an intermittent fault with the mic. We have replaced them with the same product. No complaints.

The headset is good and works with clear sound. However every 5 to 10 mins there is a noise heard by the person on the receiving end.. The noise your Nokia used to make when a text was about to come through. Like some type of interference. Nothing around me and it still does it… Only fault really.. But would opt for different headset if I was looking to get another.

I can’t hear his friends or the droning music from his games. He can mute his mic so his friends can’t hear me! Sound quality is apparently excellent. All in all everyone is happy.
This was purchased for my 9yr old son who absolutely loves playing the xbox whilest chatting to his mates.
This is is 6th and hopefully final headset.
Once synced with xbox the sound quality is amazing and blocks any noise around youmeaning shouting dinner time is not an option!!!

These are the first gaming headsets I’ve had, and seem very good quality for the price. Things worth noting are: make sure that you line up the raised line on the mic plug with the line on the headphones, as shown in the manual, when inserting it; if using with a PC, make sure that you get the computer’s mic settings right so that it uses the headset mic rather than the one on the PC; finally, it makes a surprising amount of difference to the sound quality if you make sure that you adjust them so that the ear cups are flat against your head and fully enclose your ears. The only downside with them is that if you need or like to sit at a distance from your device the cord might be a bit short.

I purchased this turtle beach headset for my son and he absolutely loves them. He said they aren’t too big, they are excellent for casual gaming and chatting and that they are very comfortable and well padded. I put them on and had a try and to be completely honest, he wasn’t wrong at all! And to top it off the sound quality is phenomenal. If you are a kick-back relax casual gamer/ hard core gamer it honestly doesn’t matter, I strongly recommend these headphones.
I bought this after my old Xbox headphones broke after years of use. i like the style of the headphones and like how the mic can come out so you can use them as normal headphones. very comfy as they go over my ears very well. even when you are not listening to anything a lot of outside noise gets blocked which is good if you are in somewhere with a lot of noise
This headset serves its purpose with a quite good quality sound too, the mic does sometimes cut out but with time this has actually got better, nice clear switch on the wire to mute/unmute.

Been a gamer for years these are perfect. No batteries required or charging they run from the power of the controller, you get game sound and speech.
They sound good but they feel pretty cheap and plasticy and flimsy but i guess because they are a cheap headset so they are good for what you’re paying.

The most thing I found liking about this headset is the design of it. I was looking for a gaming headset that is decent in performance, not very expensive and has a small factor for its body. This one I guess I can tick check all above. It worths 5 starts out 5 because it’s more slim than others plus it’s VERY good price. Definitely recommend it if you looking for the same things.

Pretty decent headphones. Mic gain is quite low though and the wire is way too short. Really comfortable though and the sound is pretty good.
This works so well, clear sound and the mic is decent too! The best part is it matches my red controller! The volume is great and it’s an all round easy product to use! It works a good distance away from the Xbox.
