Quick and easy to use
Used for the first time today to paint about 20 fence panels and I was very pleased with how easy and quick the Wagner was to use. It would have taken me days to do it by brush. The finish was very good.
No blockages and very easy to clean.

bought this to spray yacht varnish on my summerhouse after spending hours with a brush applying the 1st coat.
sprayed, cleaned and packed away within a hour and half!
you have to remember this is a paint sprayer and a fine mist of whatever you are applying will go on anything that isnt covered , so spend time masking up beforehand.

Easy to use and good paint cove
Only used for 1 day so far as weather has been too windy but results good. Cleaning a bit of a faf but no short cuts as this has to be done well.

Srpayed the cuprinol shads out of the tin with no dilution. Lovely job and fast. Just done the 2nd coat in about 1.5 hours on a 10×12 shed.

Quality Sprayer.
Bought this to paint 130 M of new fencing. One day with a brush was enough. Makes the job easy and quick. Would be nice if it had a bigger capacity but that’s only being over critical. Can’t fault it, quality sprayer that looks like it’s built to last.

Great product. I have used it with fence paint and with wood preserver. It works a treat with both. It takes a matter of minutes to do a coat on a 6×6 fence panel. You will use a lot more paint/oil using this than you would with a paint brush but in my mind well worth it. The only minor negative is the power cable is too short. It could do with being twice the length. I found myself carrying my extension reel around in my spare hand. Having said this I am still very happy with this product.

Purchased to spray Creocote onto an arris rail fence having had my hand pump sprayer fail.
Crikey, it’s fast. As the sprayer has been designed for water-based paint solutions, Creosote is much less viscous and so the flow rate is high. I used too much trigger on my first panel and depleted the 1.4l bottle in about 40 seconds. However, I had covered about 90% of an 8′ X 6′ panel including several passes on the arrisses.
My only wish is that Wagner could have made a larger 2+l bottle: I’d have taken that despite the extra weight. Apparently the larger 1.8l / 1800ml bottle doesn’t fit this sprayer. I’ve edited this review as I previously suggested to buy that bottle when purchasing the sprayer.
I’ve learned to be gentler with the trigger to spray more evenly. I thoroughly recommend the product.

What an absolute brill piece of kit. Did 8 fence panels on both sides in double quick time. Really good finish.

This saved me hours of brushing on 20 fence panels, took only 2hrs, the container runs out quickly so has to be refilled a lot, there is a over spray so definitely a still no wind day and watch where your spraying.

This sprayer is very easy to assemble and use. I have recently used is to repaint my shed and fence panels. Each side of the shed was evenly covered in 2 minutes for each side. The fence panels measuring 6feet by 5 feet were covered evenly in 3 minutes for each side

Better than expected.
Had seen mixed reviews, but this things makes painting a fence a breeze. I would recommend getting some sort of funnel in order to fill he pot as it would make life a lot easier. In the end without a funnel I ended up have to just submerge the pot into the paint tin to fill it up. made it messy but just ensured it wa all cleaned afterwards and its all fine.

Flushed it through with hot water afterwards to clean the water based paint out and it’s ready for its next use. I plan on using it for a masonry paint task next as it’s a real time saver.

Great product. Painted panels in a matter of minutes. Not particularly accurate. It was hard to spray the edges without getting it on other areas.

Used battery powered sprayers before and they were useless – this is the real deal – I sprayed one eight by 6 gate in approximately 2 minutes and the finish was practically flawless – love this item – takes the drudgery out of painting fence panels, gates, wendy houses etc….actually, it makes it quite fun!

Does the job
Does exactly what it says, takes us longer to paint a fence than the video implies, but it’s quicker than using a brush.
Good sprayer, buy a funnel though!
Decent sprayer that certainly saves a lot of time instead of using usual brush methods. Simple assembly that can be taken fully apart to clean.
Two things to mention though;
If you notice that the gun is spraying any paint without the trigger held down, one side of the nozzle may be blocked. Had this happen several times but this may have just been the type we were using (ronseal). Just needs rinsing out and possibly unblocking with a needle or cocktail stick if dried etc.
Buy a funnel! The reservoir / container for the paint or stain only has a fairly small opening so it really does go everywhere if you’re not careful!
Perfect for large spraying jobs
Took no time at all to assemble this product. Used it to spray a large fence and the results were fantastic. The spray gun is extremely versatile allowing both horizontal and vertical spraying options.

After spending hours painting just 5 fence panels and avoiding the remaining work for a week I decided to invest in this spray gun. I wish I’d bought this from the start, it made a boring task quick and easy. I’m very happy with the results, it’s made a huge difference to the garden and had a lovely finish.
The product was easy enough to assemble and operate, it will be very straightforward next time I use it. The sprayer covered fencing in a fast and efficient manner, overspray can still occur if you’re not accurate or haven’t masked areas off fully (but I reckon most if not all spray guns are like that).
Highly recommenced as it turns a long and boring job of painting fences into a very fast and rather enjoyable one.

The first Sprayer I've ever bought that actually works as described
spending money on a sprayer, whether electric or pump has always been a concern as my track records suggested I would just be throwing away money. With 12 new fence panels to paint and a further 15 older ones in need of attention I tried a brush and thought why not have one last attempt to get something that makes this easier. Despite my initial reluctance I’m so glad I did, this works really well, is easy to clean, and having used it on successive days found it working just as well each time. I’d happily recommend this spraye

Our decking is 150 sq ft and we had over 50 panels in our garden. Easy to use, follow the instructions.. The Decking and fence panela took 1 day in total including all the sides etc.

This is amazing! I once lost 2 days of my life once painting a fence. Beyond me why I didn’t purchase one of these. Easy to use, does the job in half the time – quicker! Nice finish. Takes a bit of practise to get the feel of it – you need a bit of rhythm for evenness. Dries well. Would absolutely buy again. Have done quite a few projects with it already. Be aware it does give off a fine mist which spreads just a little – you find it on things further afield so make sure you cover up areas nearby and watch out for drips. I watered my paint down a little which I think made it easier to spray. Way better that those pump fence sprayers too. Worth spending the money on this. It was out of stock last time I check on amazon which is a good sign. Only down side is it needs refilling quite quickly – which is a small faff but by no means a deal breaker. Nice item and works really well without to much over spray, in fact next to none, would quick happily spray within a few meters of my car, however before you do this it could have been the paint I used. 10 times faster than a paint brush and better finish.

Full 5* review from me. Just painted 32 fence panels front and back. Makes the job (almost) effortless and is so quick compared with other methods. If you have a lot to do, don’t even consider going down a different route. Just buy one!

I took a chance on this and it worked great for painting pebble dash with normal masonry paint – thinned down 10%, simplified a job into hours that would have taken me days.

Works great and is easy to clean. So much quicker and easier to use than brushes! Paint gets into all those corners and nooks & crannies that it’s difficult to cover with a brush, especially on rough-sawn timber. I actually look forward to painting my sheds!
Why oh why have I wasted years of my life painting fences with brushes????
This beauty does a panel in approximately 60 seconds. You read that right. 60 seconds.
I have over 50 fence panels (yep you read that right as well!) and I did the whole lot of them in an afternoon with absolutely zero effort. It gets in all the nooks and crannies as well unlike dabbing away for hours with a brush.
Trust me – I’m pretty critical of products but really cannot find fault with this. The price is excellent as well.
As I said earlier – I cannot believe I p1ssed about for years with brushes and fence stain running down my arms.
As a heads up…when you buy your fence stain buy a couple of rolls of wide masking tape for the concrete posts and uprights.

I have a lot of fence to paint so invested in this sprayer when it was about 40/45.
I prepared my fence by jet washing it. This gives you even more work to do but it’s worth it to get a better result.
I used undiluted ducksback which I don’t think is really recommended but other reviewers suggested it.
The sprayer got through ALOT of paint but, to be fair, my fence is very old and the wood is really weather-beaten so it was probably always going to take a lot of paint no matter how I applied it.
The sprayer is easy to assemble and simple to use and comes apart easily so very easy to clean. I’d recommend using a funnel to fill the reservoir or use a large liquid detergent bottle, turned upside down so the pourer sits in the reservoir, cut the bottom off the bottle and it’s just the same as a funnel.
It definitely saved a lot of time and effort. I just couldn’t face hand painting my fence so the sprayer made a hard job easy and quick and there was really no spray where not intended (I was spraying around a lot of plants, trees and bedding plants but none got covered in spray) – the spray covers where you aim with no dripping. It also reached areas I couldn’t have reached with a big fence brush.
It’s quite heavy if your using it for long periods and it runs out of paint quite quickly but I’m willing to use more paint to get a good result and the job done quicker.
Overall, I definitely would recommend it. It’s easy to use and clean, reaches areas you won’t get to easily, offers a good, even paint result and has little/no mess/splashing. Gets the job done a lot quicker though. Downside is it gets a bit heavy after a while, it’s quite noisy, drinks paint and the reservoir needs refilling often but I’ll be using it again and would recommend it for big jobs.

Once you get the hang of using it this sprayer does a good job. Easy to carry and operate. Cleaning too is easy, just takes a few goes sending clean water through and then wiping off the film of paint with a wet cloth. I’ve always used a brush but now I’m a sprayer convert!

Well what can I say? Bought this a month ago ago. Used today for the first time.Fence paint, undiluted, straight out of the tin. Wow. What an amazing bit of kit. It actually does what it’s meant to do. Never used an electric sprayer that is this good. I’m going to recommend it to everybody else I know. Excellent to clean, very very quiet as far as as electric sprayers go. Can’t say enough good things about it. If you are worried about buying one, don’t, just buy it I promise you’ll be happy.

Makes fence painting a joy
Hands down has to be best item I’ve purchased this year .Would normally take a whole day painting fence panels in my back garden.With this sprayer took about 2hours at a gentle pace.You get a extremely well finished coating and very even .And another plus is it’s very easy to clean .AAAAA *

Great product! You don’t need more expensive product than this to do your garden project! Easy to use,easy to wash and dose the job 10x quicker than paint brush 🙂 I’m really pleased with this produc

Shocked. I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews for these sprayers – and so many opinions from friends and family. Took the plunge with this, and it has been excellent:
– So much quicker than a paint brush for fence panels.
– Gives a great finish.
– Really simple to use.
– Takes about 15 minutes to clear up after use.
– Takes more time to put masking tape on the concrete posts than actually paint the panels.
– Just used the basic Cupinol paint for fences. Didn’t bother getting the ‘spray’ version of the paints, and no need to water down. Literally, just a jug to pour the paint into the paint reservoir/tub and away you go.
Definitely recommend.
Recommended! I like Cuprinol Ducks Back which is thick and gloopy but this sprayer managed to spray it on perfectly. I must point out that they don’t say that you should use this sort of paint, but it worked for me. Easy to clean. The paint container could have done with being a bit bigger but apart from that, fantastic, don’t waste your retirement painting fences, spay them and spent the saved time down the pub!
Sprayed 30m front and back of slatted fencing; 180cm x 10cm width slats, with undiluted Ducksback. 4 hours in total including all edges. It just works and keeps on going. Seems to be robust, well built and easy to clean. Brush painting fences No More!!!

Sprayed all my fences in one day; by hand it would have taken me about a week! Excellent results too. You don’t have to buy special paint – I just used normal cuprinol fence paint. Practice on a small area first as you need to adjust the paint flow by rotating the knob on the spray handle. once that is done, crack on. I used a funnel to pour the paint into the reservoir – this holds enough paint to do about 1.5 fencing panels at my spray rate. Afterwards, breaks down for cleaning easily. Overall an excellent item, really good value and would highly recommend.

I did 6 fence panels both sides in under 20 minutes, but, for me it’s not the speed, it’s the professional finish that I love!
Cleaning takes under 5 minutes once finished with it.
I used Cuprinol ducks back which is really thick with no problems at all.
I cannot recommend this highly enough, easy to clean after use, VERY much quicker than doing by brush or manual pump spray and gives an excellent smooth finish if done reasonably carefully. Its speed is the biggest factor of all !!

Very easy to use quite expensive however it come with 4 year warranty,cleaning is very simple and easy,would recommend .
