This is a great item! If you’re afraid of breaking it, just be gentle. Obviously, I’m not trying to break it but the glass at its thinnest part feels like it could break with little pressure. However, it’s simple, elegant, and the whole package was great for the price. If you like whiskey there aren’t many better ways to pour it than from this decanter. The glasses are even better and I got the coupon for 2 extras and I’m as excited about those as I am anything. One of my better purchases!!

I bought this for my husband as a gift and was a little uncertain as I read a little about what was an ideal decanter for brandy … and the price for this decanter was very reasonable. I am so glad that I ordered it! The decanter was very well packed … you could drop it from the roof and it would be fine. My husband was very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship… he immediately filled it and put it on a shelf to display it in his office. The globe decanter is gorgeous and the glass ship inside just adds to the visual appeal. The glasses are the perfect size and the glass stopper seal will keep your liquor fresh. And the silicone ice balls will definitely be used but you have to be careful when storing them as they do fall apart rather easily. Overall, I’m very glad I bought it for him and he is very happy with the set! If you are on the line about this set … do not hesitate; hit the “buy” button.

UPDATE: we received the new set today. It was all in tact and is sitting beautifully on my wine bar! We love it. I absolutely love this set although it arrived broken. We sent it back and will hopefully get one that is not broken. There are very tiny glass parts and shipping tends to be rough on it.

I got this decanter for my boyfriend who loves whiskey. Really its mainly for looks and display, but it is much nicer than a boring regular bottle one. I love the stand because it is easy to move around if you need to. The ship gets bigger inside the globe when you have whiskey in it.

Bought this as a housewarming gift for my brother. Was a bit hesitant to order since the globe is so fragile. It arrived in a nice box inside styrofoam and arrived unbroken. Looks very nice. The decanter is a bit smaller than I expected but looks very nice. Great for a gift.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday and he loved it. Adds a touch of class to that evening sip. Glasses are a nice weight and the detail on the decanter and etchings on glasses and decanter are beautiful.
It’s perfect for display, use, whatever! It was a great surprise and he loved it. The packaging was very sturdy. Nothing was broken, which was a fear I had.

It was a good gift overall but it wasn’t very sturdy and when taking it out of the box the place where it stands snapped. It only took a bit of glue to repair but still. It does look nice though.

The couple had a variation of this set on their wedding registry. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend. I found this in Amazon, compared the features, and selected this one for several reasons. First, this product included 4 glasses instead of 2, came with bar tools, and finally it was quite a bit less money with more features while being almost identical to their registry. They were ecstatic with this gift and have it sitting in a prominent area of their apartment filled with a very nice single malt scotch.
