It does what it claims to do at a reasonable price and easy to use plastic strimmer cutters.

Glad I got it. Can’t be bothered with his petrol one, too beastly and awkward to start so thought I’d treat myself. Instructions are good enough to help you assemble but you need to fiddle with angle to do edging to get it right but once you’ve got the knack it’s straight forward. So easily to plug in and charge- first charge about 4 hrs but I did a neighbours 4meter square lawn and mine and put on charge again and it was still pretty charged.
Really light compared to others I’ve tried and comfortable hand positioning. So overall glad I got it it’s so easy to plug and go

Great product. Better than I was expecting. Very pleased. Worx is not a great company to contact or deal with but I have been very pleased with all the products I’ve bought from them. I’m a bit concerned about after sales support but my attempts to contact them have only been queries which they have ignored.

I have arthritis in my hands, so needed a lightweight strimmer, and this is very good. It comes with two batterie packs, and by the time they are used my hands have had enough anyway, though they do take a time to charge.
Getting another spool of the cutting line/cord wasn’t as easy as it should have been, which is disappointing.

Bought this to share the battery with our robot mower, so that we can just ‘grab and go’ rather than having to uncoil cords. It works well and has a number of cleaver features not found on similar competitor models. eg it can cut a line downwards by rotating the head. The run time seems really good on the 20v battery. As ever with these cordless tools you buy into a system rather than an individual tool to save money on batteries.

Was wary of battery operated grass trimmer but decided to try after reading reviews.

What a great trimmer! So easy to operate and trimming is not a chore now!

Having two batteries definitely is a big plus in my deciding to purchase this model. The charge from two batteries is ample for me to go round my garden which is in lots of sections.

Another positive being that you won’t over use the trimmer as when batteries run out that’s the trimming over for a while until batteries are re charged.

Had an old battery strimmer of another make years ago, it was OK but the battery was heavy and limited and you were always waiting for it to run out. This is fabulous. Went together easily – the range of adjustments for height and angle mean that it is easy to make it comfortable to use. We got it to keep our front and back grass in check – planning to get rid of it so don’t want to buy a mower. Had to recharge it after doing the front the first time – it was really long and damp. Since then it has done both bits, around 40 square metres, on one charge without any problem at all. I will almost be sad when we don’t need it any more.

    Excellent lightweight grass strimmer.
On long thick dry grass it was easy to use and did a fast job of cutting through the grass.
    Autofeed line works well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersYup spot on, this is now my 3rd work
Tool my 4th is on its way. They’re a great home DIY tool.

This strimmer is very easy to assemble (just the strimmer guard and a screw) 2 mins job

As for it’s function I used my own 20v battery.
Extended and got to work. I’ve not a huge lawn but 3 smaller grass sections.
Worked great for strumming and perfect for edging the line seems far stronger than my other strimmer, did the entire area without the need to use the command feed line.

But I pressed the command line to see what it did. It worked none
Of that silly banging on the ground for line.
1 press the motor temporarily stops, line fed out and motor continues so simple.

My battery did all my garden 30mins cutting high grass and very grasses edges. The batter still had enough power for me to use in my drill for an hour to so I was happy.

Storage, folds very neatly and fits in my
Small toolbox thanks to the collapsible handle.

    Great job.

i bought a Battery Lawnmower and had to buy this so that i didnt have to get the extension leads out.
Dont let its lightweight fool you its as good as any mains powered trimmer, i would highly recommend.

Lightweight and powerfull after all how long do you actually strim lawn edges for, i would highly recommend

Have to say easy to use. Very light weight and easy to hold and use. Had it set up and ready to go within 5 minutes.
First time use have to say did the boarders and round the trees with hardly any effort.Like the fact I can use the battery’s on other Worx tools.

Bought this grass trimmer body only, because I own a Wrox hydro shot and two batteries which can power share on both items.

  13. Dante7596hpk says:

Easy to assemble. Two batteries supplied, I have a lot of edges and one battery lasts the whole job if the grass is long.

Good value for money compared to other makes, I’ll see how well it lasts.

Seems wrong to have to stand on the guard to adjust the angle of the handle for edging or normal strimming, but that what it says in the instructions!

I still have a little conventional strimmer but with this product I do not have to get the long mains wire out. I have a 4amp battery from my car washer and it fits this strimmer perfectly. I used it for half an hour and the battery was only down to half power. It is a bit heavier than my old one but at least it has wheels.
The only problem I have is that I find it difficult to purchase the spare strimmer nylon line.

So far it seems to alright my only issue is the amount or should i say the tiny amount of strimmer line but other than that not too bad for the price.

This is a lovely little strummer, batteries are interchangeable from my drill and lawn mower and easy to change. The spool is auto feed and REALLY works, a first for any strimmer I’ve ever owned, 1 x 20v 2a.h battery lasted well over an hour and I’m really really impressed. Easy to put together and overall no complaints at all.

  17. Andrea Sommers says:

Brilliant piece of kit! So robust and tackles toughest of edges and grass. Never have to replace line for ages as doesn’t break and even when you do just pop replacement spool on, feed and on you go! No messing about with fiddly and frustrating spools/line as this one is simplicity itself.
Battery lasts easily for up to an average of 25 mins continuous use and longer for in between use. Spare included charged while you use first one so never really run out of juice anyway!
Not the cheapest admittedly but so worth the money! My previous was a Ryobi and useless compared to this worx trimmer. Fully recommend.

I have purchased a number of strimmers over the last couple of years and when this one arrived (without the battery, yes I should have read the details more clearly!). However, once I ordered the battery I have to say it has been a great strimmer and would recommend so far.

  19. Dan says:

     United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Really lightweight and easy to use. I’ve used it about 5 times now, and unlike every other one I’ve ever used, the wire is always there due to the auto feed. If like me, you’d spend more time fixing that every time it breaks, this is great.

  20. BlancaCrist says:

     United Kingdom

Does the job OK, but the spool is very small and runs out quickly. Buy spares at the same time or you’ll be left twine-less before the first battery charge depletes. Also, the angle adjustment on the head doesn’t feel robust. It works but feels like it’s going to break eventually

  21. RowenaByard says:

     United Kingdom

It arrived quickly and it didn’t take long to assemble. The battery did have charge in it but I charged it before use anyway. Left it for 3 hours and this seemed more than enough charge.
Trimmed the grass edges up a treat and still had plenty of charge and line left.
    Would recommend

Great product and fairly easy to put together…in terms of run time, I am extremely impressed. I have a garden that is 220ft long and this was able to do both sides of the turf on a single battery. Strummer Cord is very tuff and hasn’t broken once in the 2 rounds that I have completed. I prefer this strummer over my petrol one, quieter, easier and lighter….would have no hesitations in making a recommendation!

The design of this product is faultless, so easy to use. However I will mention that after the first full charge, the battery ran out before I could finish the front garden. I got the back garden done and three quarters of the front. At the moment I feel that a 2.0 battery is not enough for this product. I will see if the second charge will last a bit longer. That being said I do like it, the wheel adapter makes light of cutting along grass edges.

Excellent bit of kit that fits the batteries of other worx equipment. Bought this to match the lawn mower and has plenty of power. Works much better than the old 240v one that’s been replaced with this. Did a decent sized rear lawn edge (130sqm) and a small front garden with hardly any battery use. I used the same battery to then add onto the mower with the second one to mow both lawns without it going flat. Haven’t tried the edge function yet as I haven’t got any need for it. Nice and light as well and easy to move about.

This is a great garden tool. The charge lasts long enough to do my whole lawn – the edge runs to about 40metres. I like that the Worx battery is interchangeable, it can be used with the drill I own. Simple to use. The only part I am not impressed with is changing it from edging to a flat cut. It’s not easy to do and always feels like it is reluctant to move and may break.

Well it’s super light and seems to be of excellent quality. On one battery it manages to easily do the jobs I needs. I have also used it on larger more serious trimming jobs down my lane and it held up surprising well as did the battery

Allotment use and garden. Finding it difficult to register the product, so I have wasted time finding a UK registration site and this has meant the 3 year warranty has expired, I think I will only get 2 years. I tried continuously within the 30 day time period – it takes you to the USA site so doesn’t work. I’ve emailed Europe customer services and waiting on a reply.

Good strimmer. Getting 2 batteries with it makes it a great deal especially if you own other Worx products. Fine on grass and light brambles but obviously doesn’t cope with the really thick stuff. Easily as powerful as any mains powered strimmer I have ever owned. Recommended.

  31. PhillipDickerma says:

     United Kingdom

I’ve got a few Worx battery operated tools which are great so thought I’d give the strimmer a try. I can say this great for strimming and edging a reasonably sized garden and the battery lasts more than enough. It’s actually very powerful as well. No more having to run an extension lead to do the edges. Excellent.

  32. Rob Hunter says:

     United Kingdom

Works fine. My petrol strimmer became just too heavy for me. Takes 3 fully charged batteries to strim all my garden. Batteries last 20 minutes at most (Comment said battery lasts 30 minutes…probably stroking cat instead of strimming). Handle in totally the wrong place. Head keeps “twisting” as extendable section was always too loose & wouldn’t lock in position.

A good little product. Light and easy to use with adjustable head angles. The only downside is that the battery doesn’t last long enough to do all the edges. I should have bought 2 batteries and you will need both to do a medium sized garden.

Simply the best tool I have bought in years. I bought it primarily for strumming but I use it mostly for edging. It gives a clean tidy cut on straight and curved edges. It’s very quick and light to use and the line is kept at the ideal length automatically. The battery lasts a good 30 mins which is enough for a substantial garden.

  40. Anonymous says:

This makes edging the lawn a breeze. So much quicker and easier than using back-breaking edging shears. I would buy this again and I would recommend it to friends and family

Three improvements I’d make are 1] change the wheel design to enable their use when strimming flat. It’s too easy to scalp the lawn without a height gauge. 2] An arrow in white on the guard so that you can see where the cutting line is in edging mode. Otherwise it’s easy to get off line and cut deep gouges into your lawn. 3] Battery life could do with being longer.

I have no problem with rotating the head from edging to flat, so other reviewers may have tighter versions than mine.

Runs well, struggles a bit on thicker stuff like tall nettles and established weeds but for general lawn trimming and keeping weeds down before they get too big it is ideal. Two batteries mean I can use it on my allotment too. The cord seems to be lasting extremely well, not noticed any significant wear as yet. Had Worx products before and been satisfied with them as well.

Works very well. Easy to use, lightweight and good battery life. If you need to attack the likes of extensive thick brambles, you might need a powerful petrol job, but this unit is very capable of most strimming jobs. The interchangeable Worx batteries are a real boon too. Thumbs up from me.

As not heavy use gardeners, the infrequent tidy up type gardener this is ideal for what we do. Its lightweight and robust enough for what we do and has worked great so far. Its got through some fairly heavy stuff and cleared some fairly overgrown areas. Battery life seems to be ok too.

My only disappointment was that it feels weak at the handle. You can feel the 2 half’s twist as you wave the strimmer to and fro.
I like the battery and charger size, concept and build.
The 1.6mm cutting plastic is strong and should last a while.

This was my first try at a cordless trimmer/strimmer – and I am wondering why it took me so long to make the jump. Very pleased indeed with this piece of kit. Good quality throughout – sturdy but lightweight. Easy to manipulate in various positions and so far has proved really effective in dealing with both “easy” trimming round lawn edges, and also in clearing more uneven, wild areas of the garden. Having two batteries is great, recharge times are short, and I haven’t yet experienced a battery running out, even when dealing with fairly large lawns with some difficult to reach areas. Just great.

Great bit of kit which I bought to supplement the strimming that I do in our large garden using my two stroke Stihl.
It’s lightweight but powerful and I use it to do the more frequent strimming needed around the paths and planters.
Handy that it comes with two batteries and it has a proper plastic cord dispensing spool.
I’ll definitely be looking at more Worx ki

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI have the WG169E which got wet and was not working. I ordered this WG163E as it has the very handy edging function. It came with 2x 2AH batteries which cost 30 each to buy separately at the moment. Thus the strimmer cost just 10 effectively !. I needed more batteries as I have many worx tools and after a year of heavy use many batteries have less life from the memory fade usual on repeated charges. I am please to say my WG 169E dried out and now works well again. I do prefer the 169 because: changing the cutting angle involve rotating a simple switch and adjusting by hand whereas the 163 need to be clamped with your foot on the blade cover and pulled with considerable force, like another reviewer I was fearful I would snap the cover, the 169 also ha s a sieve switch to change from edger trimmer which is a very positive bayonet type movement and foxes the 90 degree rotation, the 163 you just rotate the extendable shaft and it is tricky to get a true 90 degree angle.the extender switch in the handle of the 169 is far simpler and quicker than the cuff tightener on the shaft of the 163, finally the 169 feels lighter. Happy with the deal and general performance of the 163 which is comparable to the 169 but prefer the refinements of the 169.

The strimmer works ok but be aware that mine was supplied with a 1.5 Ah battery and not 2.0 Ah as advertised. This means that it will not last as long before a recharge is needed. Other than that the operation is fine.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat looking product, good construction and the moveable parts click solidly into place.
The adjustable length and variable angle of the shaft handle mean that the carrying and usage angle should be customisable for most people.

Impressed with the battery life – I’d recommend getting the box with 2 batteries included; no brainer when it’s almost the same price.
I have an irregular 1/3 of an acre, mostly lad to lawn with lots of edges.
When I first received the package, I plugged one of the batteries into charge. 4 hours later still showed charging but was really keen to have a go, and that battery lasted half hr- approx half of the garden.
Charged both batteries overnight and managed to do the other half of garden the following day using 1 battery.

The single cutting cord works really well and I have witnessed no slippage. The command feed works like a charm (not that I’ve had to use it much).

Overall, very pleased, and drastically better than the old Flymo one I used to use (and managed to burn out the motor).
This is an excellent replacement for me.
The only minor niggle is the angle adjustment for the cutting head – it feels too tough to move and there is no button to press. You just have to force it.

Very easy to use, lightweight and quite powerful, I have only a small area to strim so no problem with battery life, only problem the line did not seem to self feed and I needed to manually stop working and feed more line out, otherwise would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBeing cable free is excellent without the expense of a petrol engine. It’s great for simple garden work, dont expect to cut acres of 4 foot long grass. I got about 40 minutes of nearly continuous use out of this. The only thing I dont like is the way you have to adjust the head angle. It tells you to lay it flat and hold it down with your foot and the just force it in the direction you want, doing this works but feels wrong everytime, feels like its gonna snap. They could have put a better mechanism for that. Apart from that I’m very happy with it.

This strimmer does a great job at our allotment. The battery lasts longer than i thought it would, and it copes with pretty thick grass OK, obviously if you’re looking to cut back real dense undergrowth then you’ll probably want a petrol brushcutter. We are now looking to get more Worx tools in future to save money on the batteries

  56. SunnyRanieri says:

This is one of the best tools I have bought in a long time. It is a powerful tool with the 18 v battery and a joy to use with out being hampered by a mains cord. Turned on it’s side and using the wheels it glides quickly around the lawn and cuts a really neat edge and is especially good at trimming the lawn along the patio which is difficult to do with shears. It came with 2 batteries but after 6 weeks the 1st is still going strong. As with all strimmers the cord wears fairly quickly but the auto feed system works well. Suggest buying extra cord at the point of purchase.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersEasy to set-up & use, light weight, batteries each last around 20 minutes. Works well for simple lawn edging, both horizontally & vertically. But surprisingly good at tougher requirements – we have a public footpath at the side of our estate, which was very overgrown & difficult for me & particularly our dog to negotiate for our walks. Using the WORX WG 163E I cut down around 100 metres of overgrown grasses, fern, even brambles to clear a path for easier access, exhausting both batteries, photo attached – the WORX did well for this task, of course taking more effort & longer than a petrol strimmer, but for a light weight cordless I was pleasantly surprised at how well it did.

    Exceeded expectations

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a cracking strimmer. Comes mostly assembled with just a couple of bits to fit. Instructions a bit of a pain, just pictures, but OK. Strimmer strims well, light to carry, quite quiet, easy to clean afterwards, battery lasts ages even on the long stuff I was making it do. Remarkably good value for money, especially considering it comes with 2 batteries (& a charger) – the batteries cost at least 30 each to buy separately. Bought this because I already have a Worx lawn mower & the batteries can be used on both.

Lightweight, very easy to use and battery lasts for ages.
It does struggle in very long grass, but is perfect for tidying up edges.
The instructions aren’t the best and the cutting head angle is adjusted by ‘snapping’ it into position which takes a bit of getting used to.
    Otherwise superb.

I love this strimmer- I have 4 batteries but can do my medium sized backyard (cutting all the grass not just edges) on two batteries. It’s lovely and light, but also robust. The design is excellent and the cord very strong in fact I have used it several times and only used up a few centimetres of it. Worx products continue to impress me! Very good for my mom too who is 70 and still likes to garden.

  63. Joshua Bateman says:

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersMy garden is small but challenging with assorted tough woodland weeds invading all year round. My previous strimmers – all well respected makes – have been frustrating to use – broken lines, lines not feeding, etc., and have ultimately died in service. I already have a Worx drill, which I love, so only had to buy the machine. It took a little over 5 minutes to clear the patch which blew the motor on the last strimmer, and the line remained at working length all the way through. The battery was fully charged again within 10 minutes after use.
A major plus with the cordless is that I can grab it and go. Not having to get the extension lead out of the garage and fiddle about with the lead is a big motivator and time saver.
The instruction booklet leaves much to be desired, and I recommend watching one of the videos available online for assembly and use.

Bought this to compliment the battery mower works also sell. I use one of the mower batteries to strim the edge of the lawn then put both batteries in the mower to mow, batteries easily last for the whole lot with one power light remaining on both at the end.

This strimmer is very light and manouverable. It is very convienent to grab out the shed pop the battery in and walk to wherever you want to strim, no messing around with leads and extension cords.

This is a light duty strimmer perfect for grass and the odd clump of weeds in a boarder, not designed for hacking through lots of thick brush.

My battery came with a partial charge – one green light bar showed on pressing the red indicator button to the right.
We are told in the instructions to fully charge the battery before first use.
    No explanation is given.
My battery will not charge beyond the lowest level (of three bars) is it therefore faulty and should I seek a replacement?
The strimmer is pretty nifty but I thought Li-ion batteries do not suffer from a memory effect, so why is it refusing to charge fully?

Great machine, I just love the wheels which make a difficult operation in edging the lawn very easy leading to a great cut. My one reservation, and its every time I use it is in changing the angle of the head from edging to strimmer-I have to put my foot on the cover and lift the handle sharply with a fair amount of force-I am terrified that something is going to break- It might just be me and there is an easier way which I have not found Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars

Extremely light I need to hold underhand on the pole not handle as I’m quite tall but it’s amazing I don’t feel so useless and have to wait for a man to come along. I would recommend these battery powered tools I also have the mower and hedge cutter they are powerful enough and I can weald all of them. Got my eye on the chainsaw 🙂

Wow – what a great unit … I already had another device, but needed a strimmer to clean the storage location where we keep our caravan, it was either a petrol device, which are expensive and the have the worry of leaking petrol etc. …. or battery… This unit is fantastic, just a powerful as an electric (mains powered unit) – Great price, Great Performance, thoroughly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersI have quite a large garden which I cut mainly with a sit on, except for the twiddly bits. The twiddly bits have got larger over the years and although I have a petrol driven strimmer, for a 5ft 2 in woman it has always been quite heavy to use. This Worx Strimmer does the job beautifully. I was concerned that it would not be strong enough to cope, but it more than copes. It sailed through overgrown nettles, trimmed flower bed edges and cut bits I’d have normally had to use my electric mower to tackle. It’s light, having two batteries, one in and one charging makes a lot of difference as well. So light, easy to assemble, easy to use, very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAn excellent tool. Easy to assemble and use. Battery last over 30mins by which time I’m ready for a break. The cutting line hasn’t broken once and I used it on quite a variety of grasses. Highly recommend, it’s taken all the hassle out of strimming. Puck it up, plug the battery in and away you go.

Decided to buy this baterry powered one after having three petrol powered ones at 150 each over the last two years that kept breaking. Gave it a go today up the allotment and it’s just the job it lasts about half hour on one charge so ill likely get another battery. But it cuts through meduim to light rough grass and weeds very well and its really light weight after being used to heavy petrol ones so im over the moon with it.
    5 star from me.

    Arrived promptly
    Cheap price
    Works a treat
Well worth the money. Batteries last plenty of time to do the edge of both front n back gardens on one battery. Spare battery will come in handy. Will probably buy more Worx ki

I’m a big fan of Worx cordless tools – I now have the Jawsaw, Hydroshot & hedgetrimmer, and love them all. I have several batteries, & just swap over if one dies whilst being used. I feel they are safe, being cordless, and are just so much simpler to use. I find I use them more often, as with other tools I can’t be bothered to untangle & plug in a cable, then watch as it destroys my flowers as it trails over them etc – with Worx, you just pick up & go.

Angle of strimmer head very tight very difficult to make head level. I’m 5 foot 9 extending shafts to full length still too short for me

Chomped through 10″ grass without struggling at all, lightweight and good battery life, the unit is built to the usual high quality of the Worx brand that I expect and obviously the battery can be used in any of their tools. Vibration is minimal and cord feed works perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersI’m not the most enthusiastic gardener and don’t want to spend much time on maintaining it. However, I do like a mown lawn.

I bought a Worx cordless lawnmower because I was tired of using my corded one and having to move the cable around to avoid cutting it (I did actually do this and had to fix it – no joke). That has saved me a lot of time but it did not do the edges.

I was delighted to learn that Worx made a whole range of appliances and that they all used the same power supply. I have now purchased this strimmer and am amazed how much cheaper it is buying without a power supply than it is with one.

It has been used once and did the job very quickly and efficiently. It is easy to use and it is lightweight. Regarding battery life, I have no complaints. Some have commented that it is not very long but for my purposes of a quick strim round my front and back gardens after initial mowing, it is more than adequate.

    So I’m happy with it.

Wasn’t sure whether this would do the job but it does. Easy to use and lightweight. Haven’t run out of charge as yet as it easily keeps charge for the time I need to use it. It hasn’t run out having used it for a 40m x 2m grass run, so 80 sq metres in total. Works for me for what I need.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersOnly used my new strimmer once so far but already impressed. Easy for my non practical husband to assemble and adjustable handle half way down makes it so much easier for me to hold it and use. I’m a 5ft 2 female. The wire in it has been hardy so far. I’m not gentle with tools and have been blasting it over my rockery obliterating weeds and in between my garden plants strimming after this weed sprouting weather. It’s been cutting everything and the place looks much tidier. Was at it for a while and the initial battery was still going strong. Hopefully it holds up to more. Seems sturdy and of good quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m not a gardener, don’t like gardening in fact, and I am looking after a big garden just now. This has really helped with my workload and helped the garden look neater.
How did I manage without it? Well, the garden never looked this neat before!
A spare battery (one in use and the other on charge) means I can complete the task in one session.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAs I have the Worx power tools I already have 4 of the batteries so taking that into account this was a good price. I did find it a bit fiddly to mount the small guide wheels but that was probably me rather than the strimmer. Sorted it out and now works great. It is a great weight and well balanced in my hand. I am a wheelchair user so the weight and lack of cable was important to . Oh and the lack of cable saves the Mrs messing up with the cable. I would recommend this especially if you have the batteries.

Actually really bloody good. I spent ages looking at various strimmers and thought I’d give this a go even though I have never heard of the make. I used it for the first time today and I wasn’t disappointed. Its lightweight and easy to use and really did a good job. I don’t have acres of land but have a decent sized garden for a new build property and this tackled it with ease. Really pleased with my purchase. Its very lightweight and well made. Would recommend

I really like this strimmer. Light, sturdy, easy to use and does a good job on the paths at my allotment. Previously had a Bosch ART 26-18 strimmer which had various problems throughout the warranty period (Bosch were good at repairing it FOC) until it eventually gave up outside the warranty period. The Worx is less expensive, has a better build quality, has low cost consummables and has more ‘grunt’. I also purchased a spare 4Ah battery and a fast charger.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersI was slightly sceptical about buying a battery powered lawn edger – I have a very big garden with a lot of edging to do. However, I can report that this is a truly excellent tool. It does exactly what you would expect and once you’ve had a bit of practice, it’s really simple and fast! My edging used to take about 1.5 hours by hand but now I zip through and it takes 15 minutes. the battery has never died on me and I simply re-charge between trims, so it’s always ready. 5 stars for this…excellent value too.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersReally easy to use, superb for trimming the edge of a lawn. Old version had a nicad battery and after 7 years of use it was either replace the battery of buy the new Lithium powered one. Have to say this one is even better design wise for a 6ft tall guy. Adjustable and battery lasts about 40 mins on a charge. I can use it 4 times without losing power. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStrimmers I’ve had in the past were not very good; the lines constantly snapped. Not so this one. No more fiddling with wires either. Nice and light and very easy overall to use. And, a nice price. These trimmers include battery and charger. Well recommended.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersGreat powerful and easy to use. The only small negative is it is hard to align for edge trimming use the orange sticker on the guard or the “V” between the guard and the body. Of course fantastic cord free. I have three small lawns which I could trim twice on a charge.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing! 10 out of 10! 6 foot nettles swallowed up in no time! Really powerful and easy to use. Fixed length which is much better than a telescopic one, and is actually a really comfortable size for a 6 foot bloke. The handle on the front has a little bit of play in it, but not really much of an issue.
    30 well spent!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our Usersproduct is ideal for small garden work, even tackled some overgrown areas without a problem. The only drawback I found is the battery pack supplied only lasts for 20 minutes or so and then takes up to 5 hours to recharge. Bought a bigger battery pack and problem solved. So overall a very good tool and value for money.

I already have a worx cordless drill and hedge trimmer which are very good so I bought this to power share the other batterys.i only have a small back and front garden but even though it has a bit less power than an electric one its just right to do the edge of garden and rotating the head makes it great for edging the front lawn it also has a wire guard you can put down to protect flowers from being decimated.while edging.i love not having a cable in the way and being light weight these tools mean the job gets done quicker.highly recommended.!
