Another great worx product.
I already had the jet washer and a few batteries so seeing this was something I thought would be good to get. I also have the cordless drill and impact driver.. this saw worked really well for what I was needing it for. And as I have a few batteries it’s great having all the tools being able to be used with same batteries.
I’m happy with this saw.
Cordless cutting
I got the mains version of this but wanted a cordless version as im cutting floorboards a lot I’ve nearly cut through the cable a few times. As others I think have mentioned it’s going to struggle cutting through say 20mm ply on a long cut you will have to up your ah battery or have a couple of backup 20ah batteries but for floorboards and thinner materials it’s great.
Couldnt have done it without this!
Recently fitted laminate flooring’ and with this saw the job was done within two days’ and made it so much easier’. My Girlfriend laid it’ as I was away at the time’ she said without this saw’ the job would have been a lot’ lot’ harder. This made it dead easy to do…it is a investment’ but well we’ll worth it’ she now’ wants other projects to do with it’ now! Oh the joy! ….maybe if I am good I will get a shot of it…lol.
How do you work with wood, without it!!!
Excellent product, first time I have used a tool like this one, think I will get rid of all my hand saws, this saw can do it all, would recommend anybody who works with wood to get one!!!!
it's a must have !
I was surprised how good this is, it’s handy to take in the boot when you go to the DIY store to downsize timber or furniture boards to fit in the car.
it’s quite accurate easy to handle and the battery last’s well
As good as the corded model
Used for lifting tongue & groove floor boards for electrical access, depth setting minimised risk, cut beautifully. Usual high Worx standard.
very convenient for cutting large plastic sheets
I used the saw for cutting large sheets of twinwall plastic. It worked quite well but I would have preferred the guide to be flat on both sides, instead of having projections at either end on the outside surface.
For the small cuts delicate work
A nice compact accurate saw easy to use in confined spaces , ideal for plunge cuts and handles most jobs with no trouble at all I use bigger battery as I have 3Ah and 4Ah ones for my saws they get more work done went cordless good few years ago as the allotment we have has no power tools rule it’s only petrol or battery tools allowed, tried one or two of my father in-laws and dad’s before plumping on Worx mainly due to there nack fir bringing out the very latest ideas and tool concepts and reliable quality tools after I bought a few of there mains ones.
Great tool
Cut our upstand for our worktop great. Blade is great & no chips in the worktop.
very good for the money
Only used it once but does what it says on the box good value for the money
It's good
Very easy to use people complain about about the safety catch but it doesn’t bother me I’ve found it very easy to cut a straight line and it uses the same battery’s as my old erbouer drill which were sat about doing nothing so I’ve got 2 extra batterys
Oh yes! If you haven't got one get one, great little capable hand held saw for smaller jobs
Love it, easy to use and setup, you get better with a little practice, not on par with a circular on long cuts but the sheer simplicity of this when doing small (band deep) cuts, it does easily cut through 18mm ply, much to my surprise… I did learn to plunge into the cut for a better start on the cut, but you do you. I highly recommend if you work with wood, I haven’t cut plastic or metal with it yet, so can’t comment on that.
Another great Worx produc
Added this to my Worx collection and have not been disappointed.
Great little tool
Easy to use, great value for money.
Worth being in a tool box for lots of smaller jobs.
Very useful and we'll made tool
Must have tool if you like DIY. I’ve used to use cable ones but since I’ve got this baby life became a lot easier.
Such a good tool
This is a great bit of kit light weight and the cutting makes it easy would say when cutting wet wood can stop the blade
Awesome bit of kit, really simple to use.
I had a project that required trimming lots of tongue & grove sheets. The compact circular saw performed faultlessly. Unlike my jigsaw, it naturally wants to cut a straight line and is easier to control than a full-size circular saw.
Saves time and effo
Ideal for cutting large or small panels or lengths of timber as long as its no thicker than 26mm. Easy to use and requires no physical effort.

Small and mighty
I liked the weight and ease of use, I used it to cut 9mm ply to build drawer units then trimmed them when they were too big.
Buy one!
This has very quickly become my preferred tool for cutting. Lightweight, easy to handle.
The only downside is that there isn’t a battery power indicator.
As expected
It’s just what it says on the box, I think the best thing I like about it was the option of paying in instalments which I’ve never seen before on Amazon so it’s a nice touch, will but other items as they all use the same battery
Handy bit of kit with how small it is
Very handy for nipping bits off
And so light in your hand
Fantastic little tool, with a catch!
Really great tool, have used everyday since purchased. Used the tile blade for chasing out brickwork and wood blade for panelling (MDF) and putting Ply down (18mm) and it’s been great, however, you MUST buy a bigger battery as the thing will run out of juice really quickly. I would suggest a 4.5.
Versatile saw
Great little saw. Easy to handle, I have not felt any kick back as you can get on a regular circular saw. I am very happy with it, ideal for diy use, might be bit weak for tradesman daily use. Was great cutting kitchen cupboard side panels, blade did not tear the finish just left nice smooth cut. Would buy again.
Good produc
Not top spec as price would suggest but far more than just your average tool
Great tool for the right job
More powerful than you might think, makes short work of cutting through wood (that’s all I have used it for so far). Depth gauge allows accurate cutting of flooring without risk of cutting any pipes/wires under! Well recommended!
Shame about the case
Plenty of power, easier to grip than my old 700watt worx, But you have to remove the blade to store worx saw in box
Great tool
Great little tool, easy to use. Wish it came with a second battery.
Great tool
I debated hard and long before buying because of what other reviews had said, such as ‘blade gets stuck’ and ‘doesn’t cut through 18mm ply’. However because I had a Worx battery from another tool, I took a risk. I have now used it and it easily cut through 18mm OSB…..no blade sticking for me. Granted I’ve only cut three 18mm OSB and three 11mm OSB, but it went through them like butter. Having a circular saw that doesn’t need a cable AND can be used with one hand is great, I wish I had one years ago. Some reviews mention that it takes time to master the technique of pushing the blade down to start off a cut, which is right, but not hard. I like it.
Good Little Produc
Great little hand saw. The cordless power provides a nice biting point.
I am no DIYer but this helped me build my own cold frame for the garden.
Great purchase at a good price
Just the job.
Bought for DIY jobs, so far hasn’t let me down, cuts through 22mm chip board easily, used for on and off for a day on one battery charge.
Good tool
I got it in lower price in Amazon. I love it’s machine so much. Make my job done nice and easy.
Handy tool
I’ve used this saw on a number of projects and found it to be very useful, I have found that you need to make a slower cut than other circular saws I’ve had, if you go to quick the saw blade tends to stop turning
Battery life not the best but good for small jobs and fast charging
Cut a worktop with ease ,but disappointed that the case is not designed better once blade has been fitted cutter will not fit in case which defeats the object of having a case a bad design , if you have to keep removing the blade but get a 5.0 amp battery there is cheap out there as I have a few because I use a couple of worx grinders .
Worth it for money
Got it for my husband’s bday he luv it and very useful without cable peace of mind
Great little cutte
Great product so far, cuts what i’ve asked it to and the battery lasts. God that the batteries from my jet wash fits it as well.
Powerful, precise & Manoeuverable.
This is great to use, is my first tool like this and is easy to use and gives great results. Comes with a few cutting blades for ability to cut different materials.
Battery lasts a good amount of time and charges quickly, also great to have the carry case to store everything.
Also great I can share battery’s with my other woxs tools.
In this not being a full size circular saw but slightly smaller means you have great manoeuvrability which is made even better by being cordless!
It’s really versatile in what jobs it can be used for.
For a first saw tool I’ve found it really easy to use and would recommend.
Power compact saw wish I’d had one years ago.
Powerful little circular saw, so many uses. Could possibly do with a bit more depth of cut but it literally just cuts thru panels like butter with the correct blade in for the job.
Can be a bit long when in a tight space.
Battery life obvs depends on what battery, but no worse than a drill or impact driver.
Great compact saw.
Light and quiet.
Lovely saw to use, easy and light to hold. Very quiet and easy to adjust guide.
Brilliant!
Really really great tool, will cut through anything.
Have been using this now for a couple of home projects and this tool makes light work of cutting wood. The cut edge is really nice and smooth also.
Battery life is good. No complaints!! Will recommend!!!
hi, I am pleased with my Worx saw I very nearly didn’t buy as someone posted a review saying it couldn’t cut decking well it does. not tried on wet decking but on dry it cuts fine. see video. not easy to hold the phone and cut wood at the same time. only used it a couple of times just to test. I would say give it a try.
Revamping all my decking to better accommodate a large hot tub. Needed a circular saw but did not want a large, mains one. I already have a WORX drill driver that has been an excellent piece of equipment so thought this would be a good opportunity to get more WORX battery compatible tools. First off, it’s light, only cuts to 41mm depth at 90* but that was fine for me. Comes in a decent case which I like, however, the blade has to be removed when storing in the case. Talking of blades, it comes supplied with 3 in total, only used the wood cut blade so far but it’s very good. Now, it is a battery saw, do not expect a full day out of one battery! Having 3 batteries in total, as I have, means no downtime. It comes with a fast charger so just swap out the flat battery with a fully charged one, place the used one on charge and off you go. Like most, if not all circular saws, there is adjustment to ensure a proper 90* cut, so a little time spent setting the blade is worthwhile. 0* to 45* cuts are available although this reduces the cutting depth. A work light comes on when using the saw and the blade also stops very quickly when switching off. I’ve found it extremely useful, don’t force the blade, let it do the cut by itself (as you should with any power tool such as a drill) Overall I’m happy and may invest in a higher amp battery. Available as aftermarket replacements as well as WORX. This will give a greater range of use before recharging. For DIY applications, it’s great and possibly for some trades too as it is compact. Nice to have in the toolbox.
EDIT; think I spoke too soon. Only this morning, the saw developed a fault (2 weeks after purchase) despite fresh/new batteries, the blade will not spin. LEDworklight flashes when battery connected but no movement from motor. Spinning the motor by hand, with battery off the machine, I could hear and feel that the motor wasn’t engaging properly as if a gear was out of alignment? Tried troubleshooting with Amazon, who were amazing to say the least. They even managed to connect me directly with WORX customer service! Without me ringing them via the live chat facility which I started off with. Anyway, WORX said it needed returning as there was obviously a fault beyond telephone diagnosis. 3 year warranty but first year via Amazon so have returned for a refund. Perhaps I have just been unlucky here. I’m resting my 5 stars for excellent customer service both from Amazon and WORX as they were great. The product itself, whilst it worked was perfect for my needs, perhaps a replacement would fare better.
Very easy to use
I was putting down some laminate flooring, and since the power was going to off in the house, i decided to go for one of these as i already had the batteries at home.
I have other mains powered tools that could have done the job if the electricity was on in the house, and i wasnt expecting much from this saw.
Wow i was amazed at how light this is and how easy it was to cut the laminate planks.
Once you get the hang of it, it does save a lot of time, no wires to move out the way and not restricted to be by a power outlet, extension cable.
Very impressed.
Tip, remember to press far enough down as you get started to ensure you get a proper cut at the beginning of the item you are cutting.
Really useful little saw
Had one of these for a few years now and it is a really useful little saw. It isn’t the deepest cutting or the most powerful, but its light, easy to use, accurate and really handy to have. Useful for light trimming of wood, plaster and woodwool boards, skirting etc. I have cut worktop and 25mm marine ply too. The worktop was slow and needed cut from both sides, but I’d managed it. Having had one, I wouldn’t be without it.
Slight update! I have finally used the diamond blade in this saw and was cutting through 25mm thick sandstone with ease. Not the fastest cut but clean and with very little dust. Also good for chasing into sandstone walls to run cables.
Well worth buying
Great quality and value for money, I didn’t realise how useful it is
Very good
Very good staff for home if you like to work your own hands, not noisy, accurate, manoeuvres.
To place some context I am a DIYer not a professional wood worker, that said I’ve found the saw battery lasted very well making a bed and headboard. The saw is light, the blade is very easy to change, providing you note the direction arrow on the nut that clearly tells you which way to turn it, the saw comes with battery, saw guide, dust extractor size adapter, 3 blades for wood plastic ceramic and metal, I found the Bosch dust bag (27 from Amazon) from my Bosch electric plane fits with the adapter supplied although it’s a bit cumbersome, the provides a good clean cut, the case the unit comes with is good quality and will stand up to abuse in the back of a van,
I like that the saw stops almost immediately when you release the button, overall safety is very good, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the saw lacks a laser which would be helpful, but I does have a very bright led light the comes on with a light touch of the button. I’ve used the saw with an edge clamp too and it worked well. As I said I am not a professional, someone who uses the saw on a regular basis may give a more informed review for using in that environment. I am a little hesitant to say how many metres the battery lasts as I haven’t had to charge it yet, oh and it really handy to take to the big box stores and cut lengths of timber to a manageable size to transport home in my car. Just do research to make sure the model you want if a laser is required
Why did I not get one years ago?
Really easy to use, so light in comparison to wired saws, super easy to use, my only regret is I should have bought one ages ago. I also have other Worx tools that use the same battery system, great saw even if you don’t, a must have if you do.
