Does what i need it to do, but tricky to get a good cut on uneven surfaces….
Also, the battery doesn’t last a long time… i haven’t got a big garden, but i have to put it on charge after mowing the back garden before being able to mow the front garden. It’s not a major issue for me, though. I’m pleased with it overall.

As the title says it’s been perfect thus far, battery life is perfect if you keep on top of your lawn, I cut my front lawn (small) and my back lawn (medium) and I still have over 50 percent charge, perfect for the price
Only downside is it’s very small, I’m 6ft4 and it strains my back using it but other than that I highly recommend

Can not but!. like these two. Very easy to build out of the box, they both do what it says on the box. The mower has a nice Clean cut to the grass, it’s grass catcher box is light & folds flat when not in use. Etc batts are easy to get hold of & are only around the 69 mark!. Perfect for small gardens.

Great lawnmower with a lovely cutting action. Full charge is enough to cut both me medium-sized lawns (don’t let the grass grow too long long though as battery time will be impacted)
Only downside for me is the foam grip on the handle is easily torn, but still very happy with my purchase

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe battery is easy to insert into both the mower and strimer. It will cope with a small grass area e.g. 18sq Meters but you need to adjust it, which is easy, for the height of the grass or it will struggle with longer grass. So recommend that the grass is cut regularly at the height you want. The battery indicator of power let in it very useful. We us about 50% with a cut and strim of the edges.

The mower works well but the battery life is low. Luckily, it does charge very quickly to a full charge. The strimmer is great, too. I would recommend for a small to medium sized garden.

Did my first cut of the year on the highest setting this afternoon after buying this yesterday. I like probably most were sceptical of the battery mower and its low price, especially with it being a bundle but I have to say I was shocked at how good of a deal this bundle is. Maybe a slight caveat as I only used the highest setting (However I did reduce to number 3 on the small front lawn).

My battery arrived with 88% charge so I charged it to the full 100 to see how much it used, I have two lawns but they are not massive by any means, once id edged all around both, cut the front lawn on the highest setting then again on the middle setting then cut my larger back lawn I still had 41% remaining so I could possibly get away with doing it again if I was quick?.

    Good points:
*I didn’t realise how much of a difference being cordless would make, no more messing around running extensions leads from the conservatory and having to fight a wire all the way around, did both gardens in about half the time.
*Super lightweight and easy to maneuverer, I was only using one hand most of the time, just moved effortlessly.
*Cuts really close to borders and walls, I did not need to strim in half the places I use to have to with my old mower.
*Fairly quiet, both strimmer and mower didn’t seem to make half as much noise as their corded friends in the shed.
*The strimmer is quite tame, powerful enough to strim with ease but without throwing all sorts of debris up, the strimmer can also rotate into an edger with a wheel on which, if you’re anything like me, stops you from cutting new unwanted borders into your lawn.

    Minor complaints:
*I found the bottom screws a bit troublesome to get in but apart from that setup is straight forward and easy.
*The side button which activates the mower I found sticks a little bit so sometimes takes 1 or 2 goes to start up, may loosen up with a few more uses but this was probably me being a bit too cautious on my first go.

So far im really happy I chose to go cordless!

Fab battery just managed to cut all my lawns on one charge. Very light to push and carry best mower I have every purchased. Strimemer also very light but get my son to strim round lawns for me because I go all over the place when trying to do it myself

    Pros –
1.Battery life is more than sufficient for a small sized garden.
2.Very light and easy to maneuver.
3.Works very well on medium to small grass.

    Con-
Battery power and rpm is not great if u have long grass. It just stops.
Could never get it to work on the lowest cutting length position. Stops again.

Summary – it’s a good convenient product “provided ur grass is medium to short”. If it’s long, go for the corded or petrol one.

The only problems I found the rear roller spigot broke after no more than dozen usage,@ to make matter worse Yardforce we’re out of stock @ had no idea when they would be available . However Amazon I cannot thank enough when I informed them of the situation they replaced the complete mower within forty eight hours ,that it what I call excellent service it is a pity a few more companies operated like that. By the way I am still waiting Yardforce to contact me re the roller,03/09/ 2021 is when I was informed of none availability .

I love it’s lightweight and also can get the kids to do lawn as no worries about electronical cables. But if you have a large garden like myself you would need 2 batteries or you will find yourself having to mow a little then charge it again. Shame as brilliant produce other then that.

Can’t fault them. Would recommend and I have a medium to large garden. I like the grass to look green and thick over winter so I cut it on the highest level, 5 levels to pick from. Will let you know the other levels next year.

Lawn mower ideal for my small lawn, lightweight, cuts well and a grass collection box that works. The strimmer could do with a slightly longer and adjustable pole, as I am 1.8 meter tall and find I have to crouch to use it, which puts strain on my back. Ideal package for elderly gardener with a small lawn and a limited budget.

  24. MelodyScribner says:

The one issue I do have is with the strimmer, which although light is far too short and can’t be adjusted. I’m a very average 6ft but If I use the strimmer for mire than 10mins my back really starts to ache. No issue with the lawnmower. All in all you can’t go wrong for the money.

Mowing is a pain, so these two are magic in the time saved from connecting to the mains and then trail leads to our several different levels of lawn. Worth every penny of the exceptional price for the mower and strimmer.

I can now cut the grass in a fraction of the time. It is so light weight and easy to manoeuvre and adjust. Also tthe grass box holds a lot of grass.

Great garden mower, wanted to replace my corded mower with a battery powered one because of plants, bushes which hindered the cord, this does help greatly with this and the battery lasts for doing my front garden, side and back garden, impressed with the buy ,does completely what I wanted and does a better cut than my last mower.

I didn’t know the Yardforce brand until quite recently and was concerned by some of the less positive reviews. I needn’t have worried. I absolutely love this little machine. The mower is so easy to manoeuvre and not being constantly tangled in a cable is absolute joy. This model is also one of the few with a rear roller so I haven’t had to sacrifice my stripy lawn for the sake of cordless convenience. My research lead me to a deal that offered a free strimmer for a lower price than a standalone mower. I thought I’d buy the mower and sell the strimmer on. Wrong! The strimmer is also a great bit of kit. I find that I can cut both my small lawns, swap the battery over into the strimmer, trim the edges and still have enough battery left to cut the lawns next time.

I am really pleased with this lawn mower. It was easy to assemble. It is light and easy to manoeuvre. It gives a good close cut when on the lowest setting. There is a digital display on the battery, which tells you how much life is left in it. It recharges quickly.

Only used this once but have to say its not too bad at all. Still having difficulty in fixing the handle with the screws as I cant push the handle far enough in to secure it but managed to use the mower with the handle being pushed in as far as I could. I have a very small lawn to cut so did the job perfectly. Cant comment on how it would work on long grass as my lawn was only one weeks growth. Its very lightweight and easily manoeuvred round the garden. I purchased this product as I do not have an outside electric supply so normally I have to use an extension lead trailed through the house. It was great not having to bother with cables. Deducted 1 star due to the problem with the handle but overall quite pleased

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat lawnmower and strimmer – fantastic value but a NIGHTMARE to assemble. Two grey poles are supposed to slide into the body of the mower, then you put a screw through the hole in the pole that lines up with the body. The problem is that where the hole in the pole has been made, it makes the pole warped/too wide to fit into the body of the mower. Believe me this wasn’t from lack of force I was worried I was going to break the wheels at one point by pushing down so hard! In the end I had to grease up the poles and put them in ice (to try and make them contract/shrink) just to get them to fit. The greasing of them helped the most – but it was still a struggle to get them in.

This aside – once I finally managed to assemble the rest of the mower and the strimmer after and hour and 45 mins – I took them both out into the garden and was very impressed. Off one charge I managed to use both the strimmer and the mower to cut all of my small back garden. Both were easy to use and lightweight. The battery charges surprisingly quickly too.

Great value for money but only if you can be bothered with the nightmare of assembling!

I don’t normally write reviews but I bought this mower and strimmer to replace a heavy hand mower. Its really light (but substantial), well designed, cuts to the edge of the lawn, good collection basket. Mower easy to assemble, Grass Trimmer slightly more difficult to insert the rear housing to the front assembly but after undoing a few screws got it to work. Couldn’t recommend it more highly and don’t understanding all the carping of the one-star reviews. Obviously don’t cut wet grass, nor grass that is too long – but the strimmer makes light work of that. Battery lasts two cuts of my small lawn – and charges quickly.

he mower is great, I couldn’t get on with the strimmer, i found the guard too big and awkward. Its not heavy enough to put down stripes with the roller. Battery life is questionable, I have 2 small lawns around 50m2 in total and it uses around 50-60% of a full charge. easy to move around and a great cut. collects everything it cuts

I like the lightweight and the freedom from having a cable trailing around the garden. I have only used the mower twice and the strimmer once. However, the mower seems to cut well, the clippings end up in the bag on the back and do far the battery life has been good. The mower assembled easily enough but I struggled to assemble the strimmer but got there in the end. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Have used this mower several times now. The battery does about 45 minutes or just less. The battery charge indicator is really useful and the battery charges very quickly. It is lightweight, small and manoeuvrable.
Not too sure about the blade strength as it seems to damage if it picks up on stones. You cannot avoid every one of these but I appreciate they will cause damage eventually. This blade seems a lot more fragile than previous machines I have used.
Overall it is a good little mower at a good price, especially with the strimmer included.

Fantastic set. So much easier than a corded lawnmower nd extremely lightweight. I have a really long garden (120feet x 30ft wide) and managed to do all of it on 1 battery charge. The grass holder accommodates a huge amount of grass and really easy to empty. The strimmed is really sturdy and powerful. Has a great instruction manual advising how to use correctly for different types of strimming. Highly recommended

All easy to assemble and should be fine for garden of my size. Word of caution though in that no battery is supplied for trimmer. Finding hard to order one on Amazon and customer service pointed me to battery that costs 69.99. So although seems good value to order trimmer for extra 10 beware that more likely to cost much more before you can use it.

Does the job for small lawns. Wouldn’t recommend it for cutting the grass at Wembley. It’s a dinky mower with a strimmer chucked in for good measure!
