Fantastic, light, easy to use. Cuts clean, even stripes the lawn. Power lasts longer than the 45mins the yardfource say, however I do expect (like any battery) for the run time to reduce. With a 3 year warranty you can’t go wrong. Wish I’d bought one sooner.

Dose the job quick and easy.
So easy to assemble and very simple to just go out and mow the lawn with no hassle.

I was very pleased with this lawnmower at first. It’s lightweight, appeared to have sufficient power and is cordless.
2years on, the battery does not last as it once did. The mower doesn’t cope well with dense grass patches, often cutting out, even at the highest length setting. When my lawn has got a bit too long, I will use the strimmer first, which is great, then cut on the longest setting, then go down just one setting at which point the mower doesn’t have sufficient power. The battery runs down very quickly, and the whole experience is arduous. So much so, I shall be replacing this mower.
My garden is not that big, certainly within the 300m recommended, and I mow it regularly, expecting to take more time when I have left it a bit too long between cuts, even so it is not man enough for the job, and the battery/power situation worsens each week.

Cannot complain for the price
Did my first cut of the year on the highest setting this afternoon after buying this yesterday. I like probably most were sceptical of the battery mower and its low price, especially with it being a bundle but I have to say I was shocked at how good of a deal this bundle is. Maybe a slight caveat as I only used the highest setting (However I did reduce to number 3 on the small front lawn).

My battery arrived with 88% charge so I charged it to the full 100 to see how much it used, I have two lawns but they are not massive by any means, once id edged all around both, cut the front lawn on the highest setting then again on the middle setting then cut my larger back lawn I still had 41% remaining so I could possibly get away with doing it again if I was quick?.

Good points:
*I didn’t realise how much of a difference being cordless would make, no more messing around running extensions leads from the conservatory and having to fight a wire all the way around, did both gardens in about half the time.
*Super lightweight and easy to maneuverer, I was only using one hand most of the time, just moved effortlessly.
*Cuts really close to borders and walls, I did not need to strim in half the places I use to have to with my old mower.
*Fairly quiet, both strimmer and mower didn’t seem to make half as much noise as their corded friends in the shed.
*The strimmer is quite tame, powerful enough to strim with ease but without throwing all sorts of debris up, the strimmer can also rotate into an edger with a wheel on which, if you’re anything like me, stops you from cutting new unwanted borders into your lawn.

Minor complaints:
*I found the bottom screws a bit troublesome to get in but apart from that setup is straight forward and easy.
*The side button which activates the mower I found sticks a little bit so sometimes takes 1 or 2 goes to start up, may loosen up with a few more uses but this was probably me being a bit too cautious on my first go.

So far im really happy I chose to go cordless!

So light to carry & push
Fab battery just managed to cut all my lawns on one charge. Very light to push and carry best mower I have every purchased. Strimemer also very light but get my son to strim round lawns for me because I go all over the place when trying to do it myself

Great for small gardens
Pros –
1.Battery life is more than sufficient for a small sized garden.
2.Very light and easy to maneuver.
3.Works very well on medium to small grass.

Con-
Battery power and rpm is not great if u have long grass. It just stops.
Could never get it to work on the lowest cutting length position. Stops again.

Summary – it’s a good convenient product “provided ur grass is medium to short”. If it’s long, go for the corded or petrol one.

After service from manufacturer to be desired.
The only problems I found the rear roller spigot broke after no more than dozen usage,@ to make matter worse Yardforce we’re out of stock @ had no idea when they would be available . However Amazon I cannot thank enough when I informed them of the situation they replaced the complete mower within forty eight hours ,that it what I call excellent service it is a pity a few more companies operated like that. By the way I am still waiting Yardforce to contact me re the roller,03/09/ 2021 is when I was informed of none availability .

good price for rechargable garden strimmer and mowe
it works for me as i only have a small garden and battery is plenty for size of gaden,it looks ok not top brand but for the money its fine will have to wait and see how long it lasts but looks like it shou;d be ok

What a time saver. No more cables!
I can now cut the grass in a fraction of the time. It is so light weight and easy to manoeuvre and adjust. Also tthe grass box holds a lot of grass.

Why did I hesitate?
I didn’t know the Yardforce brand until quite recently and was concerned by some of the less positive reviews. I needn’t have worried. I absolutely love this little machine. The mower is so easy to manoeuvre and not being constantly tangled in a cable is absolute joy. This model is also one of the few with a rear roller so I haven’t had to sacrifice my stripy lawn for the sake of cordless convenience. My research lead me to a deal that offered a free strimmer for a lower price than a standalone mower. I thought I’d buy the mower and sell the strimmer on. Wrong! The strimmer is also a great bit of kit. I find that I can cut both my small lawns, swap the battery over into the strimmer, trim the edges and still have enough battery left to cut the lawns next time.

An excellent lightweight mower, which gives a good close cut.
I am really pleased with this lawn mower. It was easy to assemble. It is light and easy to manoeuvre. It gives a good close cut when on the lowest setting. There is a digital display on the battery, which tells you how much life is left in it. It recharges quickly.

Excellent Value
This two piece arrived a few weeks ago. Hubby uses lawn mower it has a close cut to the lawn (excellent) and he is pleased with battery life and cut. I use the weed wacker to trim the edges. Never used one before it is great. Easy Peasy yeh!

Happy wife
My wife wanted something Light and maneuverable to do her garden, this is perfect! She loves it, light enough for her to do her full (50ftx20ft) garden in 1 go

So Far So Good
Only used this once but have to say its not too bad at all. Still having difficulty in fixing the handle with the screws as I cant push the handle far enough in to secure it but managed to use the mower with the handle being pushed in as far as I could. I have a very small lawn to cut so did the job perfectly. Cant comment on how it would work on long grass as my lawn was only one weeks growth. Its very lightweight and easily manoeuvred round the garden. I purchased this product as I do not have an outside electric supply so normally I have to use an extension lead trailed through the house. It was great not having to bother with cables. Deducted 1 star due to the problem with the handle but overall quite pleased

Brilliant mower for small lawns
I don’t normally write reviews but I bought this mower and strimmer to replace a heavy hand mower. Its really light (but substantial), well designed, cuts to the edge of the lawn, good collection basket. Mower easy to assemble, Grass Trimmer slightly more difficult to insert the rear housing to the front assembly but after undoing a few screws got it to work. Couldn’t recommend it more highly and don’t understanding all the carping of the one-star reviews. Obviously don’t cut wet grass, nor grass that is too long – but the strimmer makes light work of that. Battery lasts two cuts of my small lawn – and charges quickly.

For the price it’s 5* it’s is what it’s a cheap lawnmower!
Does the job for small lawns. Wouldn’t recommend it for cutting the grass at Wembley. It’s a dinky mower with a strimmer chucked in for good measure!

Great value but time will tell on durability
I bought mine two years ago and together with the strimmer they make a great package. It’s been perfect for my small garden. I have to bring it down some steps each time I use it so the light weight nature of it – especially when you take the battery out – is excellent. It’s never going to beat a heavy duty mower for the best looking lawn but it’s good enough. It does my front and back on a single charge. Recharge is pretty quick – about half an hour to 40 minutes. Strimmer is as good as any you’ll get for the price and better in terms of cord – a single length seems to last ages. My only slight concern on the mower is that after 2 years it seems to be losing a bit of oomph. Could be the motor. I’ll post another review in a few weeks.

No cord freedom!
Very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre to zip quickly over the lawn and pack away. The cut is good and the grass collects really well and can be emptied easily. It’s so fabulous not to have a cord!! Battery works so well.
Although light, the Machine quality appears a little ‘cheap’ so it remains to be seen in terms of longevity.

Very good mowe
I was very sceptical as to how well a battery mower would cut the grass but have been presently surprised!! It does a very good job and so easy to use! The strimmer is also very good! The only complaint I would have is that the battery dosent last long enough!! Half way through grass I had to re charge it all Be it the second use on one charge! Very good little mower and well worth the money

Lightweight and great performance
So impressed with this. I have a large garden, so corded mowing/strimming is a major mission. My petrol mower was heavy, difficult to start up and noisy. But this is excellent. I can get around my big garden on one charge and the recharge is fast. Would highly recommend!

Pretty decent mower this, nice and lite, easy to use and assemble, I’m not often impressed but this is pretty good.

Superb Little Mowe
An easy recommendation. I’ve only got a small lawn and wanted something relatively inexpensive to get the job done and after trawling the internet for ones that were well reviewed, I landed on this one.

After two uses I must say I’m impressed, works very well. Assembly was relatively straightforward, the only issue was getting the two bars that attach the grip to the mower was a bit of a pain (especially as it on wheels), a second person was useful.

After moving into our house the lawn was a bit of a marsh and this cut well and didn’t skip a beat in its first use. I was concerned it might slow up or cut out but no trouble there. The second go over was a breeze and took all of ten minutes which is a good estimate on future cuts. Manoeuvrability is great and the 30L cutting bag is a good size for the unit, the mower not being too cumbersome even when full.

The strimmer was a breeze for edging and made light work of it. This was a doddle to set up.

Battery worked well in both units and lasted for two cuts and some strimming, so should last for at least the rated time. Good practice when using lithium ion batteries is to let them cool down first and then charge fully for storage.

Overall an easy recommendation to make so if you’re in the market for a lawnmower for small lawns, this is a worthwhile purchase.

I have only used the lawnmower and strimmer once since buying ..I managed to get a fairly large lawn and clothes poles cut and strimmed with the one charge so very pleased indeed ….very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.would recommend .

Great for the smaller garde
I purchased this product 7 months ago, at the beginning of the grass cutting season.
I have 2 relatively small lawn areas. This is perfect and easily does both areas on the same battery charge.
This mower is so light, I can use one handed! (Which is so much better than my heavy old corded flymo).
The only time I have any problems is when the grass has got long between cuts, the battery starts to cut out because the mower is struggling so I just adjust the cutting length to a longer setting first then it doesn’t struggle.
I generally find if you’re doing it at least once a week it’s perfectly behaved on the shorter cut setting.
I recommend this to anyone with a smaller lawn so you get it all done within one battery charge.
