Great little mower, light and nimble and powers through my little garden. I would have given it 5 stars but after only 5 cuts, the handle has developed a nasty gash. Obviously a flaw somewhere and it will be the gaffer tape soon to stop it spreading.
Very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre to zip quickly over the lawn and pack away. The cut is good and the grass collects really well and can be emptied easily. It’s so fabulous not to have a cord!! Battery works so well.
Although light, the Machine quality appears a little ‘cheap’ so it remains to be seen in terms of longevity.
This lawnmower is easy to use and has a decent size grass-box. The accompanying strimmer is a good one. The whole kit is a very reasonable price. On the negative, the cutting area is a little small, and the mower clogs up quickly on even slightly damp grass. But overall, a good buy.

Very pleased with this lawnmower, mows my 120 sqm lawn with ease and battery to spare. Very light and manoeuvrable, it does not fold but it is small and not be a problem for me.
This review may not be the best reference, as I only have a lawn of around 14 Sqr Meters, but I have cut and strimmed the lawn 4 times and there is still 70% charge left in the battery.
Easy assembly from unboxing, both strimmer and lawn mower cut well and the mower pick up cuttings well.
However, the only reason I have only given 4 stars is, the handle needs to capable of folding to a more neater size for storage reasons.
All that said, i would recommend these two items.
he cordless mower and strimmer means no more tangled wires, easier to carry and manoeuvre. I found the one battery is sufficient to mow and strim both lawns. But to give a bit more battery life I put the battery on charge after doing one lawn whilst I tidy the borders and sweep up. That gives just that bit extra time in case it is needed. There is little point in buying a second battery as they are expensive and that loses the advantage of the economic price. It did take a little time and effort to put the mower together but well worth it and I would recommend it.
I was very sceptical as to how well a battery mower would cut the grass but have been presently surprised!! It does a very good job and so easy to use! The strimmer is also very good! The only complaint I would have is that the battery dosent last long enough!! Half way through grass I had to re charge it all Be it the second use on one charge! Very good little mower and well worth the money
Using this to replace a (still working) Champion petrol mower we bought with us from our old house 10 years ago.
We have now placed some raised vegetable beds on the lawn and the Yard Force mower is lighter, narrower and easier to use than the Champion. The strimmer also makes it easy to trim the grass growing up the sides of the raised beds.
You need a Philips screwdriver to fit the safety guard to the strimmer and the battery needs charging before use but easy to assemble and fit/remove the battery.
We were able to mow and strip all of our grass and still have charge left in the battery.

So impressed with this. I have a large garden, so corded mowing/strimming is a major mission. My petrol mower was heavy, difficult to start up and noisy. But this is excellent. I can get around my big garden on one charge and the recharge is fast. Would highly recommend!

Pretty decent mower this, nice and lite, easy to use and assemble, I’m not often impressed but this is pretty good.
An easy recommendation. I’ve only got a small lawn and wanted something relatively inexpensive to get the job done and after trawling the internet for ones that were well reviewed, I landed on this one.
After two uses I must say I’m impressed, works very well. Assembly was relatively straightforward, the only issue was getting the two bars that attach the grip to the mower was a bit of a pain (especially as it on wheels), a second person was useful.
After moving into our house the lawn was a bit of a marsh and this cut well and didn’t skip a beat in its first use. I was concerned it might slow up or cut out but no trouble there. The second go over was a breeze and took all of ten minutes which is a good estimate on future cuts. Manoeuvrability is great and the 30L cutting bag is a good size for the unit, the mower not being too cumbersome even when full.
The strimmer was a breeze for edging and made light work of it. This was a doddle to set up.
Battery worked well in both units and lasted for two cuts and some strimming, so should last for at least the rated time. Good practice when using lithium ion batteries is to let them cool down first and then charge fully for storage.
Overall an easy recommendation to make so if you’re in the market for a lawnmower for small lawns, this is a worthwhile purchase.
As a 5ft 6in woman. This machine is spot on for size and weight and makes a lovely job. I put it together myself and find it very easy to operate. If grass is long and damp best to use the flymo. But I only had to do that once all summer.
Great product, easy to assemble and found it ample battery for my garden. Really impressed and hope it continues to perform strongly in the coming years to come without any battery or product issues

I have only used the lawnmower and strimmer once since buying ..I managed to get a fairly large lawn and clothes poles cut and strimmed with the one charge so very pleased indeed ….very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.would recommend .
I purchased this product 7 months ago, at the beginning of the grass cutting season.
I have 2 relatively small lawn areas. This is perfect and easily does both areas on the same battery charge.
This mower is so light, I can use one handed! (Which is so much better than my heavy old corded flymo).
The only time I have any problems is when the grass has got long between cuts, the battery starts to cut out because the mower is struggling so I just adjust the cutting length to a longer setting first then it doesn’t struggle.
I generally find if you’re doing it at least once a week it’s perfectly behaved on the shorter cut setting.
I recommend this to anyone with a smaller lawn so you get it all done within one battery charge.

Excellent product light and easy to use and does the job well
This is a good little mower for the money(I got a strimmer as part of the deal) make sure you cut your grass every 7to 10 days and it will give you a nice finish and cope easily dont expect it to deal with anything over 5 inches of grass and make sure the grass is dry it really makes a big difference not that it wont cut it but it will struggle to throw it into the box I cut the lawn then took the battery out and put it in the strimmer to do the fencelines and obstacles about 25 mins work and the battery still had plenty of charge left I dont like the handles being held in with self tap screws to the mower thats poor! Cmon yardforce drill the holes out and fit with bolts why build a good mower and then spoil it by pulling a stunt like that!! but dont let that put you off just realise its limitations it is the baby of the range after all
Perfect to use. Works well, keeps the charge. Powerful. Good customer service with the dealer. There was a missing bolt in the box but when I contacted yard force they sent it to me free of charge.
It came with a strimmer and Disappointed as it really needed 2 batteries. So have bought an extra one but the batteries are expensive(80) .
Apart from that the mower is good value for money. Does what it says
I didn’t want to leave a review on this product until I’d thoroughly tested it. I bought this a year ago after moving into a flat with the garden accessed from the basement. What a find. I’m able to cut a lawn 10m by 10m on one charge and still have enough juice left to use the strimmer to tidy up near the borders and the clothes poles. Lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and even leaves stripes. A little gem.
Does a good job, battery lasts well not suitable for very long grass, but keep on top of the cutting it’s great. Strimmer does a good job to. 60×20 lawn strimmed and cut without battery running out.
Love this mowerand strimmer.. Much more powerful than i was expecting… I have a medium size lawn and as long as its not left for more than a couple of weeks, it powers through at setting 3..nice length for me… Can be very closely clipped at 1..handy that i can swap battery over quickly qnd there are no cables in the way… Inpressed neighbour so much that he bought one to… Wasnt a fan of battery operated power tools previously, but was encouraged by reviews… Glad I nabbed one..
I bought this ‘end of season’ last year at an amazing price, so couldn’t really try it out until recently.
Very pleased with every aspect.
Enough battery life for my needs. Excellent cut, easy to move around and compact for storage.
Might not suit larger lawns or those that are a bit ‘Rustic’ though.

I like it because it’s cordless. I don’t have a lot of grass but it cuts really well. Trimmer is great too. I like many others got very frustrated after the winter I tried to get the mower going again and failed. The trimmer works fine so I knew it wasn’t battery related. A day later I tried again and found that if I toggled the lever whilst pressing the button it seemed to work. It’s like the lever sits too far back so won’t allow start button to be pressed in fully. Happy mowing again.
Brilliant have cut the grass and used the strimmer 3 times and still haven’t had to charge it yet! Really easy to take the battery out and put into strimmer and vice versa, does a good job, box is easy to take on and off. Very happy, good price too.
I purchased this product for the special offer price of 115.15, and was very impressed with both the overall quality and practicality of the Cordless Mower and Cordless Strimmer and Battery Pack. 🙂 Normally I take some 2 hours to cut my lawn with my old corded mower, and decided that I needed an upgrade to make the job much easier etc!
I was very surprised that the Yard-Force lawn-mower set allows me to mow the lawn in just over 30 minutes, with a really nice result indeed! It should also be noted that the x1 battery pack took about 1 hour to charge, and lasts about 35 minutes on an average lawn-mower cut.
I found that the only downside was the actual assembly of the lawn-mower itself, where I had a little trouble aligning the handle screws / handle holes etc. However, this slight problem should not detract from what is essentially a really great product at a really great price! Thank-you! 🙂

Grass basket holds alot of grass and picks up very well.
So far so good. I didn’t find assembly too easy but I have arthritic hands. Both items do a great job and are very easy to use. Battery charging easy and also easy to interchange. Good safety details.

I am astounded by this little mower which I initially gave a poor review. The power from a single battery charge appears to last longer after a few uses, and can mow my entire 340 sqm garden, and trim all edges on one charge with power to spare. With no cables to worry about makes the job so quick and easy. Pretty amazing really. I take back my previous poor review.
What a difference not having to trail a cable round the garden.Very powerful machines, another battery would be useful.
The handle was a little difficult to assemble as lining up the screw holes is not easy, but it is a nice tight fit and once assembled feels very durable.
I would certainly recommend this lawn mower.

Best lawnmower I’ve ever bought.
Had an old hover mower which threw grass everywhere, those days are gone now!
So far only used it twice but am surprised by the power. You do need to cut through the longer grass a bit slower but it’s surprisingly good.
It took over 3 weeks to arrive with 4 failed delivery dates, which was getting a bit tedious but worth the wait.
I only have a postage stamp of grass & used to take me longer to get the extension in & out than cut the grass. Not anymore. Also really good at picking up the clippings.

Cutting out – it does not keep cutting out unless you have it set to the wrong height setting. It cuts out for safety if you have it set too low because the blade would be damaging itself by hitting the ground. You only need it on a high setting (5 or 6) to get a great low cut. There’s no need to use the lower numbers.
Battery jumping out – mine hasn’t once. No problems at all.
Roller – yes it does have a roller and yes it can produce stripes.
May 2022 update – After over 2 and a half years of use, this is still a great mower that’s had no problems at all. I find I don’t even notice the problem where I had to squat a little to use it, I suppose I just got used to it after a few cuts. It’s so light I even mow my lawn with one hand at times so it’s easier to pivot it around.
After many cuts, the battery still has never jumped out once and since my original review I have used the strimmer that came with it, which is also great. It’s easy to switch the battery between mower and strimmer and even using both items like that only uses 30% of the batteries charge.
The blade is still sharp and I now use it on the lowest cutting setting all of the time, even for the first cut of the year, with no problems. My garden is on a slope with old tree roots and some sunken bricks (I don’t know how they ended up like that!) and it still doesn’t cut out or hit them. I even push it over paving slabs to get from one side of the garden to the other with the motor still running and it cuts the edges of the grass nicely without hitting the concrete slabs.
Nothing has broken or needed any maintenance. Still a great mower!

Its great being cordless! Just wizz around the garden, no cable go get tangled of cut! Only down side: battery doesnt last long, but will last for a reasonable sized lawd. Worth buying a second battery.
I was a little sceptical regarding battery powered lawnmowers in regards to if they would produce enough power to cut thick long grass and battery run time but thought i’d give it a go with this one, best decision I made, managed to cut the back and front lawns with both the lawnmower and trimmer and still had over 50% battery life left, no issues with long grass, cut through with ease, light weight, compact and easy to use, I highly recommend this.
It’s OK and does what I need to do. Does struggle with wet grass but otherwise pretty good. Battery will do my medium size gardens if done regular but have a spare battery just in case. Overall happy with the purchase.
Compared to my previous electric plug in mower, it’s fab – no cables or extension leads to worry about. Battery in and off you go. Machine is very light and makes light work of the cutting. Love it.

I’ve always had electric lawnmowers which are a pain with the cable but I didn’t want the hassle or weight of a cord free petrol one. I hadn’t heard of battery powered ones till my old lawnmower died and I popped onto amazon to buy a replacement.
I had my reservations but as a single mum with limited time and a child who cries every time I mow the lawn (he hates the noise) I was willing to take the chance.
I assembled it in about 10 mins. Instructions are simple and it’s really straightforward. Charged the battery overnight and away I went.
It’s really easy to move the blade up and down, simple handle at front. Extremely lightweight & easy to manoeuvre and the grass basket is a tardis! What’s not to love? The price is the icing on the cake. Fingers crossed it lasts!!
Haven’t tried the edger yet but to get both for the money is great value. I’d have paid that just for the lawnmower.

I have quite a lot of grass, so I cut it in sections and the battery life is just right for each one. Only one black mark, no replacement spools for the trimmer. All in all Im very pleased with this purchase!!!
Excellent lawn mower. Can struggle on anything lower than 3 particularly if grass is a little damp. I generally do a first pass on 3 and then if grass is dry another pass on 2. Strimmer is great. I can do front and back garden including strimming edges and borders on single charge. Love not having to mess around with extension leads. Makes cutting lawn so much quicker.
It is a fantastic lawnmower and a proper strimmer with a good battery life. I didn’t need anything fancy for my 6x7m lawn and it mowed it 5 times before I had to recharge the battery! The mower is powerful, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre – just perfect. It’s probably a little more plasticy compared to more expensive mowers but then again it’s less than half the price of name brand mowers, and you get a strimmer too! I’d definitely recommend this if you have a small lawn and want something that’s easy to use!

Probably best equipment I’ve ever bought, quickest lawn mower & strimmer I’ve used. Battery lasts long enough for small front & rear medium sized gardens.
Just bought a new place with a smaller back garden (100 sqm), small enough that I couldn’t justify getting somebody else to look after it. I’ve had electric mowers before and always hated/managed to damage the cord. This is just the right size for the job.
First go was a bit of a chore given it hadn’t been mowed in at least a month, probably 6-7 inches high. Set the height to the maximum and it managed it fine, though it did struggle on the thicker bits, it never gave up. I just slowed down a bit and it chewed through it. Made a second pass on a lower setting to get a bit tidier and it managed that just fine as well. Checked the battery at the end and had 19% left, enough to strim the edges. The strimmer is “ok” but seems a bit less capable that the mower. However, it does the job if a bit fiddly about it.
Just went out and did it again (a week later) and no issues. Got through the whole thing with 43% to spare. I’m hoping it lasts a couple summers, but well pleased so far. For the price, you can’t beat it.

The only negative point for me is that I only have the one battery and it runs to flat cutting my lawn, meaning I can’t strim the edges as well. Perhaps making replacement batteries more available would be a marketing strategy that they should consider.
