This is a great little mower so easy to use and very easy to store away, ( and the wife is able to use it)

Was a challenge to put together as the bolt holes were very tight, apart from that it was OK… But using the lawnmower was a joy.. It was really quiet, easy to push and just fabulous not having a cable dragging around. I charged the battery in a few hours, but it’s far less time when being charged after use… I took quite a while doing the first cut and started with the long grass level, progressing down to level 3 to ensure I didn’t damage the mower with grass that was too long. The cut is nice and you can see the roller lines but I was just going in different directions to start with as it was the first cut after winter… I will do an update in a few months to see how this lawnmower fares.. But so far, I’m thrilled with it! I’ve already recommended to my family!

Super easy to use, light and quie

I’m so pleased with this mower which assembled very easily and is a great weight to carry into garden. It makes cutting my grass a lot easier with the different height settings for the rotary blades.

Smashing lawn mower. So easy and lightweight, no cables and cuts the grass in half the time. No problem with charging battery, always charge after each use.

I bought this to try on the grass paths within my allotment. It won’t tackle really long tough grass, however, once the grass has been strimmed down it comes into its own as a very manoeuvrable mower to get round corners. If necessary, I can easily lift it around obstacles. The battery has power to spare to mow the roughly 100 metres of path within my full-sized allotment. The cuttings pack well into the box; if damp they will equal the weight of the mower itself! It also makes a neat job of my lawn at home, so I’m wondering if I need to keep my petrol mower.

A competent replacement for our old Bosch Rotak mower.
Initially chosen based on price, battery longevity for our garden size and UK service team – just in case.
Our lawn space is around 100m2 to rear and 6m2 at front.
Weekly grass cutting during the late spring / summer months uses just over 50% of battery
Charging is quick compared to others (just over hour).
Very lightweight and easy to carry between lawns
As it has less power that the corded mower the only adoption in style is that you have to go a little slower where areas of grass or taller or thicker.
I would happily recommend this product to others.

Lighter than looks, steady away for a smaller lawn that doesn’t need to much care. Cuts well when fully charged – not good for large uneven lawn.

I have two small lawns and there is enough power to do both on one charge. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. No temperamental petrol engine start, no electric cables to run over. Great for small gardens.

This is a brilliant little mower. Easy to assemble straight from the box. Ideal for small gardens. Its Light weight makes it highly manoeuvrable. Tackles a variety of grass lengths due to its sharp blades, powerful motor and easily adjusted cut height. I have a total lawn area of approximately 200 sq m. which typically takes about 20 minutes to cut. I have yet to use more than 50% of the battery life. One other great feature is the height of the handle. I am 6ft 6in. This is the most comfortable mower I have ever used. No more shuffling and stooping.

Was hesitant to buy having read reviews about battery problems. However, impressed so far. I have a largish garden and it cut over half in one charge. Cut on higher level as my grass was long . but I’m confident it’ll get easier & quicker each time.
Battery lasted a lot longer than the 25 mins stated (maybe up to double this time).
Reluctant to give a negative but if I have to- it takes the 75 mins to re-charge battery .. but I just did other jobs and then carried on.
Yes, it has the feel of a toy mower . but it did a good enough job for me.

    Deserves a good review

We cut a number of lawns and needed:-
    a) a cordless lawnmower
    b) with decent battery life
    c) easy to transport and carry
Saw this one and managed to get it through Amazon Warehouse.
Have used this for a few weeks and it has been excellent.
Easy to lift onto higher gardens, in and out of car etc.
Previously had a Qualcast battery mower, the battery life of which was very very poor, this one by contrast is good and gives at least 30 minutes.

    Would recommend

This is a super practical no nonsense compact battery mower which is very lightweight and consequently manoeuvrable and certainly a perfect size for our small lawn. Good range of height adjustemnt via easy to use lever and great at edge cutting and sucking up the cuttings rather than spraying them all over the patio like our last electic mower did, Bosch product now rehomed.
The grass bag is a sensible 30 litres which is ample for us. And is easy to remove be and empty as and when needed.
The handles are a bit basic with a single fold to store so not as tight a storage package as some but for all the other positive qualities of this mower thats a minor issue.
The battery is great, takes up about 55% of charge doing lawn and edges so plenty in reserve.
There is a percentage state of charge indicator on the battery case which is helpful and battery removal from mower and recharge couldnt be simpler. Cant accurately state how long recharge is as just put the battery in charger and leave for an hour or so (charger in shed), revisit and remove fully charged and replace in mower.
Final point is that there is a safety key mounted next to the battery. This should be pushed into place to allow mower to function. Equally it should be lifted up from the ON position to keep battery isolated for storage safety.
So overall, delighted with this great lityle workhorse.

Very light and easy to move around, don’t expect it to do a massive lawn as it will run out of power. It’s excellent at fairly short grass at a good height. Doesn’t like cutting anything over 6 inches.

This is the second one we’ve bought. I know it’s a cheap domestic one but my wife’s using it for detail work in a commercial gardening scenario. The first one lasted more than 2 years with frequent use which for this price point I think is INCREDIBLE. Plus this way now she has two chargers and more batteries. The charger and batteries are still good after this time. Recommended!

The relief of not having to lug out the cabling to mow the front and rear gardens is a game changer in itself.
The battery doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to but it charges in a hour easily enough while you’re having a cuppa.
The handles are quite long making it a little bit awkward on the front lawn, another small niggle.
It doesn’t fold away quite as small as a previous mower but that thankfully isn’t a problem.
Overall I would definitely recommend this mower provided you use it at full charge every time that you use it.

Update : sending back as the battery doesn’t seem to be holding it’s charge plus as its a foam handle, where it ends on the metal frame both sides are tearing. I can maybe understand one side getting caught on something but not the two as I store it the same way all the time.

For years, like most people, I and the missus have struggled with a stupid lawnmower dragging cables all over the place and behind generally annoying to use.

Our last one broke and I thought I’d try this battery version. And what a difference! What used to be a chore – get the lawnmower out, set it up, get the plug out, plug it in, reel it down the garden, mow up and down and then having to change the plug (because the lead wasn’t long enough) while trying to avoid chewing through the cable and having to flick it out of the way every second mow.. Annoying!

But now! Get the mower out, bung the battery in. Mow up and down for about 10 minutes (Way less than half the time the other messing around took) – take the battery out and charge (takes less than an hour) and stick the mower back in the shed.

It’s an absolute joy to use and fantastic for our garden. Turns a chore into a joy. The missus is equally delighted.

    100% recommend.

A nice little, lightweight lawnmower. Gives a good cut, the only problem I’ve found with it, is that the handle is a few inches to low for me, so my back aches a bit when mowing.

Nice compact battery powered mower with grass catcher. The battery lasts long enough the do 3 cuts of a 16 Metre Square Lawn on the higher height settings (4 or 5), and has a great feature, where you can press a button on it to display the remaining charge. The main handles were a bit difficult to install into the body of the mower, however with a persistence and a bit more force, I eventually got them in.

I have been looking at getting a cordless lawn mower for some time, this is so simple to use, the charge lasts well. It is lightweight and no more fighting with the wires trailing round the lawn, wished I had taken the plunge and bought one much earlier. A really good bit.

I have arthritis and find this easy to use, lightweight, not difficult to hold the power bar. Cuts lovely. Only used twice so hopefully the battery will hold up. Easy digital battery life indicator. Had a little trouble fitting the handles but my hands and wrists are weak

  38. Drew Prindle says:

     United Kingdom

My petrol Mower was just too heavy to and cumbersome handle on corners, so I bought this one.
It is delightfully light to push and turn around, but struggles on long thick grass.
The answer is not to let the grass grow too long, or to set the cutting height higher.
So for my particular needs it’s an ideal little machine, and I’m very pleased that I bought it.
Assembling the handles really requires two pairs of hands, but I managed it alone, with considerable difficulty

  39. Anonymous says:

This lawnmower is sufficient for my needs. Have a reasonable sized lawn so as long as I don’t let the grass get too long this will cut with about 20-30% left on the battery. The best thing it only takes half the time of my previous corded mower so can do it twice as often.

Brilliant, just the job – the first one they sent had some putting together problems due to the holes for screws not marrying up to each other properly but total respect to them they sent another out and gave us a month to send back the faulty one. Replacement is great and exactly what was asking for.

Love it, well packaged only the handle needs to be fit but it is so easy.
The battery easily slots into place and easy to remove. The lawn mower is very light and the large wheels mean that it is so easy to maneuver and no trailing flex. The blade is a sturdy metal blade.
The lawnmower is exactly as advertised.

This lawnmower will do most small-medium garadens fine. Like any battery powered mower, the key is not to try and cut too much too quickly. My rear garden is approx 5x10m. Cutting it from about 2-3″ to a short cut took about 40% of battery power, but I had to start on a long cut (highest setting) and work down to the shortest cut. No problem because the mower is very light. The very shortest 2 settings seem to be useless, because at that height, the motor clearly struggled, but it was damp grass. The battery is very easy to fit; it just drops in. Some other designs, such as Bosch, have the battery fitted from the front, meaning you might have to get on your hands and knees to fit and remove. The handle is a bit short for someone 6′ and above; I felt a bit stooped. The foam handle will probably not last long. The narrowness of the gril is a bit uncomfortable, as after a while, you get a bit of a death grip. Out of the box, this was exceptionally easy to assemble, and the charger comes supplied with the correct UK 3-pin plug. Good value for money.

Bought this mower to use on my allotment. I haven’t got loads of grass, but what I do have, this mower is perfect for.
It’s not very big, lightweight and very manoeuvrable.
It usually takes me 15 mins to mow my plot. The battery is down to between 60-70% in that time.
All things considered, I can’t fault it!

Too be honest my wife mows the lawn, so she’s the expert and she’s over the moon with it. We bought it because it was affordable but apparently it’s twice as good as the more expensive one we replaced. It’s lightweight, cuts cleanly and gathers all the cuttings. Does three small lawns without recharging. Great value for money.

  45. Anonymous says:

The only downside is that it’s not for very tall people!
I’m 5ft 6″ and I need to bend down to mow the grass

  46. StephanieDocker says:

     United Kingdom

I’ve had this a couple of months and am very happy with it
My lawn is about half the size of a tennis court and uses only 40% battery power to cut it. It’s a very light mower and is ideal for me as I can control the mower with one hand and have my walking stick in the other.
The build quality of the mower seems pretty good.
    CONS
    1. The flexible grass box can be a little awkward to put on. However, I don’t use the grass box anymore, I cut the grass before it gets too long and let it mulch down.
    2. The handle to pick up the mower is not centrally balanced and therefore, you need both hands to pick it up

However, This little mower is worth the money and has simplified my life immensely.

I wasn’t expecting much after reading some of the reviews however, I am genuinely impressed. I had a bit of a jungle outside the front of my house that the local authority seem to completely ignore. I was surprised to see that this lawnmower tackled it with relative ease, and plenty of battery remaining for other areas. It does look a little ‘toy like’ but it’s a very capable mower. When I got to the larger weeds (and I do mean large lol) it did seem to slow and struggle a little but it did do the job, even on those, after another going over. I think my old corded mower struggled with it more. I might add, the grass/weeds was reasonably damp too.
The collection bag fills nicely too. I am converted to cordless and looking forward to taking it in my large garden without having to fight with extension leads!
Registered my warranty straight away, and discovered you get a years extra for free (making it 3yrs) if you do so within 28days, so it’s well worth doing for that peace of mind.

Very pleased with this lawnmower. Very light and extremely easy to use. I have a well manicured lawn of approx 40 square meters, and I do not cut too low. It may labor a little on a rough uneven lawn because of its light weight structure.. Had a little trouble assembling the handles into the bottom fixings but not really a problem. A new back roller was needed due to a split in the spindle part but was replaced by Yardforce without problem. Battery was very easy and quick to re-charge and change out of the machine. For me , I give it full marks.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ll begin by getting two minor criticisms out of the way: first, while this mower wasn’t that hard to assemble, I couldn’t say it was entirely straightforward—the illustrations in the manual could have been clearer; secondly, the gauge for showing when the grass-box is full doesn’t work particularly well. (These bits of nit-picking are my only criticism!)
Apart from that, this is an excellent mower for a small lawn. My lawns together total about 180 sq. m., and this was well within the capacity of the battery—in fact, it did one complete mowing and about 75% of a second one before the battery gave out. After the first mowing, the battery showed 52%, which went up to 53% after it had had a rest; ten days or so later, when I started the second mowing, it was still showing 53%, so it held its charge well.
On both occasions, the grass was quite long, but the mower went through it effortlessly, and I found it really easy. It was also easy to clean after use. The height adjustment is very simple, and the safety ‘key’ is a very useful feature, as you can readily immobilise the motor for cleaning, adjustment, etc.
This mower is only meant for quite a small lawn. For a bigger lawn, you would need a spare battery (changing it is very easy); but that is quite expensive, so you would probably do better to spend more on a bigger mower. But if you don’t ask of it more than it is meant to give, I can recommend it wholeheartedly.
I’m very glad I bought it.

  57. IsraelR31o says:

It looks a bit like a Tonka toy! Don’t be put off… it’s much sturdier than it looks and does the job. I only use it for a small lawn plus round the edges of a bigger one so my OK can do the main bit with a lawn tractor. And it’s very good at that. Can’t really help you with how long the battery lasts… but it charges quite quickly. Grass box fills quickly which is a bit of a pain and its not easy to empty. But apart from that it’s a good little machine and light enough for me to carry up and down steps. The lawn looks good after its been cut, too.

I have this mower at home and when the mower at my holiday home I knew exactly which mower to replace it with. Using it is so simple and the power on bar goes the whole width of the handle, having the roller on the machine leaves strips in the grass something no other mower of this kind does.

  59. Blaine2966 says:

Perfect for most new homes with small gardens. I have a reasonably sized lawn to the front and back of the house and the battery does not quite do both. However as I rarely do both at the same time it’s not a problem. The one issue is the instructions say that the battery should ideally be fully discharged before charging. If you think about it whatever the size of the lawn, if you do that you are bound to run out at some point. However as it does not take long to recharge it’s not that big a deal. Much better than running out of fuel for a petrol mower or messing around with cables.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was bought for my wife who found our petrol mower heavy and difficult to use. I did quite a bit of research on battery operated mowers and studied the reviews. I only have a small area of grass (15’x13′) so I didn’t want a big, heavy, mower. This one fits the bill perfectly. It is lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and the battery holds its charge well. I’m sure it would have no problem coping with a much bigger lawn.

Its a fantastic little mower; cuts closer to the edge than my previous one and if the grass is a bit tall use the highest level first! I find the second highest level does most jobs and maybe the lower ones may cut too short. The battery even pops out of its slot when you want to remove it. Only issue is the basket and the flip lid does not fit as snug as it should to keep all cut grass in the basket (there is some degree of grass escape) and the angle of the collection lip makes emptying the basket a bit more difficult than expected. So far, nothing too upsetting and having cut both my front and back lawn twice it still has not depleted the battery! Makes mowing a breeze!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHad a problem with the first step of assembly. The handle is still not fully into the holding slots as the holes are not properly aligned to facilitate insertion of the screws. However, as this machine won’t be getting any rough treatment the handle is stable enough. A small point which can probably be rectified by a handyman. However, I am a 77 year old lady with extensive arthritis and I love this new acquisition. Previously I was using a bigger, electric mower, which did an excellent job, but this smaller machine is proving to be good competition. As I have rather fancy shaped flower beds this smaller machine is much easier to maneuver and with no electric cable to get in the way. All in all the cutting of my lawn went much quicker than using the bigger machine and was definitely easier on my physical well being. I am totally thrilled with it!

Recieved today and absolutely love this mower, easy to assemble, charge time fast, different settings for length of grass and cuts so easy through the grass, my garden is massive and uneven in places, the grass was quite long and the battery lasted through the small front garden and nearly half the large back garden, I think it will last longer when I redo with the grass not being so long, it gets in the edges quite good with the small frame, best mower and easiest to use I’ve ever had, love that its cordless, so much less hassle, I think using my old mower it use to take me 4 times longer and the front would be done on a separate day but with this all in 1 day, so glad I bought this to be hones

Very happy with this purchase. Easy to put together, battery was fully charged inside of an hour and within another hour lawn was cut 3 times and done. Battery motor seems pretty good and only cut out when i tried a level 1 cut on a pretty uneven bit of ground otherwise it was really good and better than a prev cordless mower i borrowed.
The lack of cord is amazing and worth the extra bit of cash.

I was worried about what the mower would be like but I was surprised at how good the mower is! battery life is good for what we require and the button on the battery to show what percentage it is, is very handy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the grass comes out of the sides before it reaches the collection bin, not massive amounts but enough to notice. As long as you don’t try to cut long wet grass on a low setting then you’ll have no issues with this mower!

I have been looking at cordless mowers for sometime but have been unsure because of poor reviews on most of the products.
The reviews on this Yardforce seem quite positive so I took the plunge. Received within a day of ordering and soon put together quite quickly. It works well, my garden is not huge and I can cut the grass and use only half of the charge so on a larger or medium garden it would be ok.
Light and easy to use and cuts well. I have no regrets in purchasing this product.

I purchased this for my elderly parents who wanted a light and easy to use cordless mower. They were concerned with the old mowers lead breaking flowers.
This has been used pretty much every week and works fantastically. Battery charge does about 2 rounds of their gardens so lasts over 2 weeks. Its light so very portable and charge time is quite quick.
Great value for money and they are very happy with their first cordless garden tool.

Love this mowerand strimmer.. Much more powerful than i was expecting… I have a medium size lawn and as long as its not left for more than a couple of weeks, it powers through at setting 3..nice length for me… Can be very closely clipped at 1..handy that i can swap battery over quickly qnd there are no cables in the way… Inpressed neighbour so much that he bought one to… Wasnt a fan of battery operated power tools previously, but was encouraged by reviews… Glad I nabbed one..

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe lawnmower is Lightweight & very easy to use. It does appear to lack a little torque. When it hits areas of longer or slightly thicker grass, the motor slows and almost stops (as if the battery is struggling), but then recovers again once it’s past that area. I was impressed with battery life – I cut a very large area on a single charge, more than I’d expected.

Lightweight, good battery life, does it’s job well

I was initially sceptical when I first used this mower, it did struggle with anything but short grass, However, once I started using the height settings it has proved its worth. If your grass is thick then you will have to work down the settings to get a short cut but in terms of ease of use & lightweight it is brilliant.

I received the mower today, built it and charged the battery for about 20 minutes before deciding to give it a whirl. I am really impressed. I have a robot mower that does the bulk of the main lawn, but it leaves a strip around the edges. I also have grass out the front. This little mower tackled all of that without missing a beat. Admittedly I didn’t use the box, and had to lift the flap fairly often, but the grass was damp.

The battery lasted longer than the manufacturer states and I was thoroughly impressed. At this price point you’d do well to find anything close based on my scanning for which one to buy.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have quite a large garden on several levels and decided to get the small mower to try it out as a backup – maybe just do a level at a time. But wow, i am amazed at how long it runs and the quality of the cut. One charge does the whole lot! My knees have thanked me as its a quarter of the weight if my old petrol mower and no more winding cable extensions in and out like i use to in my old house. I always do high cuts and think the mower may have trouble with scalping long grass – so little and often is the key. And i now have lovely stripes! I so hope the mower lasts as that low weight means most parts are plastic, but i lovingly brush it down and store it in my shed. Fantastic buy one…. PS i’m not a paid reviewer, i don’t usually review unless something really takes me aback.

Fantastic - never run it out yet!

I like it because it’s cordless. I don’t have a lot of grass but it cuts really well. Trimmer is great too. I like many others got very frustrated after the winter I tried to get the mower going again and failed. The trimmer works fine so I knew it wasn’t battery related. A day later I tried again and found that if I toggled the lever whilst pressing the button it seemed to work. It’s like the lever sits too far back so won’t allow start button to be pressed in fully. Happy mowing again.

I bought this for my use as I found my heavy electric one with the lead difficult and awkward, this is FANTASTIC, my sister bought one, then my elderly mother bought one, it’s so light, easy to use, no long lead to fiddle about with, cuts really well (if not too long) cant praise this fantastic mower enough, 5 stars and more, a really great produc

I wanted a cordless mower for our small lawn as our old corded mower broke last year. I looked at reviews and this model came out third or fourth and compared very favourably with much more expensive mowers. For the money this is perfect. I used it once on the day it arrived (simple assembly, quick battery charge of about 90 mins) and checked the battery after I’d done and it was still 67% charged. It has a larger grass box than our old mower too!!

Easy to use, only drawback is with it being lightweight you don’t get very defined lines. Good point too is my wife can now mow the lawn while I swap place and point out anywhere she has missed.
Joking apart an ideal mower for smaller lawns

Great for not having to lug a cable around and so much lighter that my previous electric lawnmower. Don’t seem to be emptying the box as much either despite this one being smaller that my previous one. Doesn’t cut as low as my last one but there again I think that was too short.

I must admit that I was sceptical that this mower could replace our rather heavy, but reliable corded Flymo mower. We wanted something easier to handle, as our lawns (front and back) are on a fairly steep slope and measure around 200sq/m. When the mower arrived, I must confess it looked very small and lightweight, and I was not sure that it would be up to the task. I was wrong, assembley time took 10 mins max and the battery charged in 40 mins. The build quality, for the price, is excellent and the battery life is good. I take around 30mins to cut both lawns and there is still around 30% battery life left. The beauty of this mower is in the time saved, it took me 30mins to do what would take 55 – 60 minutes with a corded mower, and much less effort. If you have small to medium areas of grass to cut, and need a mower that is light and easy to use without a cord on a budget, then this mower is worth considering. It’s brilliant.

Cuts very well, though I do cut my lawns at least once a week so I don’t know how it copes with longer grass.
Picks up well, charge is plenty for a small medium lawn, cuts shorter than my plug in black and decker, very light and manoeuvrable, looks a little like a toy BUT for the money it’s great.
Overall pound for pound seems like a great little mower.

Very good cordless lawn mower for the price. Can mow my lawn twice with 50% battery still remaining. It’s important to let battery cool down after use before recharging. Feels very well put together handles have a nice feel. All in all very happy. Note this isn’t as powerful as a corded mower but it does the job and without a cord seems to make mowing the lawn allot easie

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI bought this mower as my petrol cylinder mower is large and clumsy on our small front lawn and the trailing cable of a mains one is a pain. What you have to remember with any cordless mower is, the output from a battery is only small compared with a mains mower, so they do have limitations.
I am very pleased with it though, being rotary it cuts down all the long strands and having a roller it does leave a stripe.
Yesterday I cut the rear lawn, front lawn on one charge.
The blade height is easily adjustable and needs to be, as it does struggle with long grass at the wrong height setting, but once more that is the limitation of battery power.
I love it and I can recommend it as being excellent value for money.

An excellent cordless mower for the money.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWow I was able to mow 52 square meters of grass between 3 to 6 inches deep in one charge. Two points to note. 1) one of the wheels fell off when I was putting it together, I could hear something rattling so I took off the hub cap off to find a retaining washer with little tabs designed to grab the axle when it was pushed on. I flattened the tabs a bit and the washer worked fine. 2) the button designed to allow the switch bar to be pulled back was very difficult to press. Tried a little WD40 with not much success but then realised that if I pushed the bar forward the button pushes in a smooth as silk. One last thing, try to put the handle on facing the right way, doh.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI knew what I was getting, I’d read the reviews. It is very toy like. I remember buying our daughter one just like it when she was a toddler. However, despite it looking and feeling like a child’s toy, it actually works quite well. Don’t buy it if you have a lawn like Wembley stadium, but it works really well on my modest bit of turf. Quick charger is great. It only takes me 15mins to cut my grass, I put the battery on charge after that and it was fully charged in 30 mins. It is what it is. I like the freedom of a battery mower. In my previous home I had a 4 stroke Briggs and Stratton mower. Not quite up to that of course, nonetheless, it does the job.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersI bought purely on the good reviews as i wanted a small mower for a small lawn and didn’t want the hassle with an electric cable. The reviews weren’t wrong as it’s a great mower. It’s lightweight so easy to manoeuvre and easy to clean and certainly does the job with added bonus of rear roller for those stripes! . It also charges up very quickly. Time will tell on it’s reliability but at the moment very happy.

Excellent for our small sloping front lawn where we cannot use the petrol mower as the incline is too great. It is very lightweight so would not be suitable for longer grass and leaves the ground at the front if you put too much weight on the handle. But thus far for the job we bought it for it is proving to be well worth the buy and was very easy to assemble so long as you take a little time to really look at the instructions.

Golden Review Award: 100 From Our UsersForget calling it Yard Force with the power of two Tommys this little mower will transform your garden without having to call on Alan, Charlie, Tommy and his mate Willie!

Got this today and within 2 hours of opening the box I had put it together (10 mins tops) and charged the battery before letting it lose on the 4-6″ grass and wild flower jungle that was my front lawns (lazy Me hadn’t cut them at all so far this year!).

It looks toylike when you first open the box, but do not be fooled this is a very capable mower and has impressed me and won me over to cordless mowing completely.

The Bosch Rotak will be going on gumtree soon as this is so much easier to use. I walk with a stick most of the time and I was able to push this mower through high grass one handed with my walking stick in my other hand.

I highly recommend this mower and at the price it’s a steal!

Golden Review Award: 77 From Our UsersWhen we opened the package my husband laughed and asked if I had bought it for the grandchildren as it is so small and light. He’s not laughing now. It is absolutely brilliant at getting to the places the ride-on can’t e.g. under low hanging branches, along the banks and into all the tight corners. It saves so much time and backache strimming in these areas which makes it well worth the money. We absolutely love it. One point worth mentioning is that the button to switch on the motor is really hard. At first you press and think nothing is happening just PRESS A LITTLE HARDER and you feel a click, after this it is effortless.

Golden Review Award: 96 From Our UsersA very good mower for the price well made and it is fantastic not to have trailing cables getting in you way. But you will have a problem when you try to register for the warranty on the internet which I have tried to do three times without success they except all you put in but when you put in the date of purchase it keeps saying the date format is incorrect I tried every way to put a date in but it would not except any of them so I emailed Yardforce 3 times but have not got any replies so there after sales is not good? Its a shame as the product is very good. that’s why only 4 stars instead of 5

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI only received this item yesterday, so you can tell from this early review I am delighted with the product.
1st Delivery was spot on (next day) , well packaged & no damage.
The cost was cheapest I could find on Line.
The product needed to be assembled, of which, the illustrations were slightly confusing. However, turning product on its side helped a great deal.
Once assembled, the trial took place. Full battery charge (98%) two lawns normally take:-
2 hours + (size of Lawn given later) with a well known electric mower.
With this latest purchase it took 15 mins Front lawn + 20 mins back lawn a total of 25 mins
( Including moving mower from front lawn to back lawn). The battery ran with 7% charge still left (about 10 mins).
It was unbelievable, the release from manoeuvring with the Electric cord was worth the money alone.

The size of Lawns 54ft x 25ft (1350 sq. ft.) & 28ft x 27ft (756 sq. ft.) or total of 234 sq. yds. in old money!
The cut performance was perfect on damp grass. Had to remove clippings from machine on 3 occasions. but it was still performing well. Left stripes on lawn!
ON this brief performance I could not recommend this higher.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI assembled the mower immediately upon receipt. Unlike some products, the assembly instructions were in standard English. There was only minimal assembly required. The diagrams were not particularly helpful, but the words were spot on and it took only a few minutes. The battery was already partly charged and was ready for use in about twenty minutes; by which time I had assembled the mower.

I put the mower to use immediately and was very impressed with the cut I achieved on my two smallish lawns. I had mown them a couple of days earlier with my ailing mower, but this one took off a lot more grass. The mower and the battery are very light, which makes lawn mowing much less of a chore. I like the charge indicator on the battery and the safety cut out key which makes the mower child safe. My initial impression is that I have an excellent product.
