    Good game
A simple game to play where adults and kids are on the same footing.
    Small enough to travel with.

A terrible amount of packaging of multiple types though, and the cards themselves.. well they are a bit think and paperlike.

Simple and fairly quick game throughly enjoyed at after school club and home
We have another variation at home, I bought this one as a game for my after school club. Original dibble is a huge hit and this is too. Excellent for the price for two games.
Only issue is some of the pictures we had no idea what they were called so the random competitive guesses caused alot of laughter.
Easy, fun game. Can be fairly quick depending on who is playing.

Great buy! A must in all households with children!
    We LOVE Dobble!

The excitement of this game is fantastic, and it has helped loads with our daughter that struggles with quick thinking, we got this game on the advice of her tutor and we’ve not regretted it.

Highly recommended, it really brings out the competitiveness in everyone especially adults!

Brilliant quick game, suitable for all.
Really fun little game, I love that each game is so quick and easy . We have so far played it with friends, grandparents and a 7year old, so it’s very inclusive, easy for anyone to learn and play.
It’s handheld size, so perfect for taking on holiday too.

    Great game for all ages
I became addicted to this game. Bought to play originally at a friends caravan then bought one for myself to have on our boat. This game is very easy to learn, very portable as is small and great for all ages (kids tend to actually be better at it). Can play with just 2 people and we have had up to 6 people all playing at once on the beach.

    Beach games
This is such a clever idea, having a card game suitable for use on the beach. The cards are very well covered and should [untested as yet] bear up to harsh sand and wet.
If you’ve never played this game I highly recommend it [this from a man who really hates this sort of game]

    Great product, thanks

    Great fun!
Great game for children of ages about 5 years upwards. I have found adults love it too! Small enough to carry about as it comes in a sturdy wee tin. Extremely easy to play. It’s like snap but much more challenging. You have to find two pictures the same on the card but they are all different sizes which makes them more difficult to spot. A child can easily beat an adult !! Guaranteed loads of fun.

    Perfect in the pool
We have three different card-based waterproof games. This one is by far the best. (A) The cards are made in such a way that they don’t glue together when wet, which is fantastic. (B) The various different micro-games means you can play a game based on where you are and who you have with you. (e.g. have a pool float to act as a table? Play Triplet or The Poinsoned Gift. No “table”? Play The Well or Hot Potato.)

    Great family game
I’d never heard of dobble and stumbled across this looking for Harry Potter gifts for our daughter. I’m so pleased I did as its a fun game to play as a pair or a group. There’s multiple ways of playing meaning it didn’t get boring quickly. My daughter loves it too.

Perfect! So much fun for any situation. It’s almost funnier playing it with non-harry potter fans because they can spot the matches but struggle to describe the pictures quickly and often blurt out nonsensical words. The tin makes it easy to transport and the game is easy to pick up with different ways to pay explained in the instructions.

Great game for Kids and Adults
Before purchasing this I was reading reviews to decide whether to buy the normal version or the kids version, I went for the normal version and glad we did! The kids (4 and 6) are better at it than the adults and once they learnt some of the names for the images they didn’t know (Four leaf clover, target, etc) then they easily beat the adults!

Great that it’s 5 different ways to play and all fun, definitely recommended!

What a fantastic purchase. I bought this as I thought it would be great to take on holiday seeing as it’s so compact and in it’s own tin. It,s such good fun for all ages because it’s all about matching pictures even little youngsters can play and enjoy the game(s). We as a family love it and we laugh the whole time we play. I would definitely recommend this game.

    One to cause family arguements
Bought this game as a new one to try during lock down. It gets very competitive very quickly especially if you have had a drink or two! Parents found it a struggle to see the smaller pictures without their glasses. However this worked as an advantage for everyone else!

    Fabulous, fun family treat.
We were introduced to this game by a family friend – we love it! It’s such a clever concept and everyone enjoys playing it from the 5 year old, right up to the much elder members of the extended family! I particularly use it with my primary school aged children who are really engaged when I encourage them to take a screen break. As well as being a fun and competitive game, it’s a great tool for oracy, cognitive and observance skills. We have used it several times during lockdown “home-schooling” lulls to wake up the senses and invigorate them again.

Great to travel with and introduce to friends and family – once you start, you just can’t stop!

I loved this game when my grandchildren introduced it to me. I bought three more as gifts. It’s easy and quick to learn and it’s over quickly. It’s no good having a game that drags on and on. Oh, and it’s noisy, which children love. I would (and have) definitely recommend it.

Easy to learn how to play. Great for quick game but provided lots of fun for us. We love games that can be played just by two people and this was perfect. Would work well for traveling, we played on our laps. Good quality cards. Downside for quick play is it’s not obvious what some of the pictures are, mainly the people! But you get the hang of it and it adds a challenge.

This is a great game for all ages – really good to bring the whole family into one game. There is no age advantage! Easy to pop into your bag when going out for a quick play while waiting for food to arrive – a good distraction for hungry and impatient kids (and adults!). Guaranteed to have you shouting excitedly as you spot your symbol!

What a little gem of a game, everyone in our family loves a quick game of dobble. We are a family who likes to play various games be it board games, card games etc… There are five different mini game versions you can play to keep things interesting which are included on the little leaflet inside the tin. We also sometimes add our own forfeits or rules depending on the ages of those playing. Ages 4 to 65 have enjoyed playing this game. It’s super easy to pick up and can be learnt in just one game, it’s not over complicated with loads of rules, nice simple fun game, It comes everywhere with us as the cards are in their own tin which is small enough to fit in a handbag or backpack. We’ve played this game on trains, planes, in waiting rooms, on camping trips, picnics, parties and in restaurants too. Great Little boredom buster and time filler.

Absolutely love this game. Fun for all ages and can become quite competitive. Loved by adults as well as kids. Great compact size to take on trips. Easy to understand.
Some of the cards have started to see some wear and tear now so for the amount it gets played I’d certainly pay a little more for something more robust. Not to say it isn’t. It’s had a lot of use already by many ages.

Great family game that literally everyone can play.not saying everyone will be good at it, you have to be quickbut still good fun for all ages. We’ve been playing with the family which has ages, 4, 38, and 70!! We bought for our holiday in Jan to use on the beach and evenings where drinks always get spilt and the water just wiped off. Haven’t got the original to compare with though. Worth reading the booklet to tell you what some of the items or you’ll be shouting out different names for things, but otherwise really good family fun. Looking to buy the Harry Potter version now as we loved this so much.

This is a great game and perfect in a nice tin to take traveling. A good easy to learn game for all ages, if you’re old enough to understand snap you can play this. Beware it does get VERY competitive and you might find things get rough in the middle of the table (and your kids are likely to end up beating you!)

    Lockdown Savio
Bought this to entertain my 5 year old by including her into family games where everybody can have fun. This game ticks all the boxes * although I hate using this term for the matter* There are plenty of ways to play the game, you think there is a cognitive limit your mind would memorise and you will get bored but that doesn’t happen. Great stuff for crowded families or couples.

A more modern version of snap!
Dobble is fantastic for all ages. I have played with 5+ and enjoyed it. Games range from 5-10 minutes.

The round cards have multiple images on a card and the first person to match one image from the bank of cards to the top card in their hand claims the card. Most cards at the end of the game wins.

This turns into a ferociously fast game of shouting and slamming your hand down on a card and it is brilliant. The instructions also come with different ways to play than standard Dobble which are fun once the standard game has been exhausted.

This game is so fun, does pump a little adrenalin when you’re trying to match the symbols 4-5-6 times in a row! You may find yourself putting both cards next to each other yet still can’t see the matching symbol :)) we bought this together with OK Play, Dobble is in favor of visual learners so I get to win after a devastating loss from OK Play. Product is small enough to carry around. Make sure watch tutorials on YouTube on how to play. Thanks!

    Great card game
I think this is the third time I’ve bought this as it always goes missing when I show it to people….

Great, quick and simple card game to thwap out at parties or predrinks or just when people need to cheer up.

Its essentially a different take on snap where there’s every card shares one picture with the other cards and if you see the picture on yours before other people you shout it out and put it down. Comes with a little instruction manual with other ways you can mix up the game.

It comes in a nice tin that you can easily travel with without it breaking like the cardboard boxes that other cards come in.

My husband and i bought this game to take over to our friends house to dinner and we all had such a laugh playing it. you have to be quick and even if that doesn’t work at first for you, hold out because you will soon get quicker the more you play.

Bought this for my niece and nephew who are 5/8.
There are multiple different game modes, all clearly explained in the instruction manual and all of which are easy to explain to young children.
My niece was surprisingly good, my nephew too being a nice uncle I let them win more than I did.

    Wonderful game!
This is a game of fast picture recognition. A friend introduced me to it and I really enjoyed it but thought it might have been just because I like fast games and am quick to see things. I have since played it with people ranging from 4 through to adults and they have all loved it. The recommended age is 6+ but my four-year-old does pretty well as long as I’m easy with her and give her a bit of time. Two people can play happily but some of the variations are much better with more.

    Why isn't this better known?!
I was introduced to Dobble by my five year-old granddaughter and decided to get the game myself for the wider family. As well as the variations suggested we have made up our own games and have found it very addictive. Often games ‘for the family’ are aimed at children and adults quickly become bored, but not in this case. It becomes a matter of honour for the adult to win at least once, but as this rarely happens they at least get the chance to demonstrate what being a good loser looks like. It’s also a good game for adults to play against each other, becoming fast and furious with no holds barred. Highly recommended and well worth the money.

Great take on the original dobble game. we took it on holiday and had hours of fun. The only problem we encountered was when playing with people who weren’t familiar with the characters in Harry Potter or what the items are called (e.g. the golden snitch) Would end up shouting ‘golden ball with wings’ or ‘man with long hair and moustache’. Still prefer the original but definitely worth the money.

    Great fun for everyone
We had great fun on Christmas Day with Dobble (which we’d first found in an AirBNB abroad) It’s such a fun, quick, exasperatingly simple game which anyone can play. I was worried my old teens would chuck it in the bin after Christmas, but no, it’s come out regularly after dinner, and that’s pretty impressive for a simple card game in this day and age! And there are different rules you can play by, and occasionally we’ve even taken to calling out the names of the objects in different languages for practise…. like most simple ideas, brilliant. Why didn’t I think of that? And it’s a lot less arguing and stress than once a year Monopoly!

It seems slightly harder than the original as they people at a glance look quite similar and the ‘colour groups ‘ in the original arent really there in this one. having said that the illustrations are lovely and even my 5 year old who could wipe the floor with many at original dobble is doing well playing this one.

This game is a hit with my 5 year old daughter. It is easy to transport with all the cards being held in a tin. Each player gets shuffled 1 card and the remaining main pile goes in the middle. The top card is turned over and you have to find a matching pair on your card before other players to win the card (each card will only have 1 matching pair) My daughter is a pro at this, me not so much but a easy game that gets played a lot.

Simple, easy, hours of fun, perfect for taking out and about.
Our family love this game, its simple but very addictive, enjoyed equally by my 4 and 6 year old children and adults alike. We always pop it in the bag if we are going out to friends or family or out to social events. Keeps the kids entertained for ages and always gets others joining in.

Funny, simple game for all ages
Love this game, we already have the normal Dobble but my 10yr old is reading the Harry Potter books so thought I’d get him this for Christmas. As a Harry Potter fan he was very pleased with it.
It is a little more complicated as their are more characters to remember but that adds to the hilarity of the game I think. All ages that I’ve played with absolutely love this simple little game. In fact I think I should get commission as I’ve recommended it to so many people!

Simple but effective. Read the good reviews and ordered. Wasn’t disappointed. Like a fancy snap but 5 variations in the instructions. I found it hard to find a family game that my 7 year old niece could join in on but she enjoyed playing this with the adults. Small tin so easy to take travelling.

    Dobble Kids
I was a little worried that Dobble Kids wouldn’t be exciting enough for the tech savy children of today.

This was a Christmas present for my 5 year old niece and I ended up spending hours playing this with her on Christmas day – at her request.

The rules on how to play are given to you in a little booklet and they were simple enough for her to pick up.

A great game that got all the family involved!

If you are trying to find a present for someone who is really into boardgames, don’t buy this one. This game is for someone who quite likes boardgames, or is looking for something light and fun to do with friends and family.

It’s very easy to learn, doesn’t need any particular skill. Even my son aged 5 can learn to play it in a few minutes, and can join in the play. And most importantly, it is lot’s and lot’s of fun.

As it is so easy to teach, it is a great way to entertain guests. As it is a short game, you can always pack it away or carry on with another round, depending on how the guests react.

If you are a boardgame lover, and you want to get your spouse into boardgames, this game will be great for you too! Nice introductory level game. Great fun, for all people!

Such a great game for all the family!-Easy to Play!
This game is super easy to learn and therefore is great for the whole family! The size/weight means it’s also the perfect game to take away on holiday as it would easily fit in a handbag/rucksack. It’s quite a quick game once you increase the number of players up to 8 which is the only downside due to the number of cards.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat for playing with kids
Bought for Christmas for my Harry Potter mad 7 year old daughter. We’ve played it endlessly. We’re addicted. The more we’ve played the more we’ve got the character names right – as they’re cartoon drawings of items and characters we shouted “that one” at first, which didn’t work as well, but then figured out who and what they all are and it’s got better and better. Quick wits and good eyes, bet it’s great for her young brain. She’s quite competitive with it, had to keep playing until she “won”. I’m fairly convinced that occasionally there are cards with no matches, but we’ve just moved on and not double checked. So long as one of us have found a match…..

We love games, this is one of three we’ve got this Christmas and the only one we could easily play without figuring out lots of tricky rules. Nice filler for a few spare minutes and would be great for a train journey.

Wonderful game that can be played by anyone from approximately 5 upwards. Children love it because their quick reflexes mean that they can often beat adults..!
It’s also easily portable, so ideal for holidays, and can be picked up quickly – no complicated rules to remember.

    Dobble! not a Doddle
My wife suggested we get this “game”,
“it’s like snap” she said, it’ll be great fun..
After barely explaining the rules she’s trouncing me…..Womping Willow, Harry Potter, Hermione, wand..I’m glancing from reading glasses to a solitary card on the table that is gaining cards rapidly..
I don’t like it, snap is better, however I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s a natty little tin and really well made.

    Brilliant game
Easy to pick up rules. There are about 4 or 5 different games you can play with same deck. You just have to match a symbol on your card with the centre one (for example). It never ceases to amaze that thee is a match of something between each card but often you can stare at 2 cards for 10+ seconds and not see what is staring you in the face; extraordinary.

    Great game
This is a lovely game of “find the match”. One great feature is that the whole of a game might only be 5 or 10 minutes. Another good feature is that all the players are busy all the time (looking). And I have also known 4 year olds who just like looking at the cards and finding matches all by themselves. Blissful quiet 10 minutes for parents!!

I’ve bought these for daughter and as a present. They’re great fun – like a more interesting version of snap. There are different versions of the same game too, so you can mix the method up a bit. We take them out and about and everyone gets involved. Highly recommended. A great group game that you could even play on your ow

    Great Little Game
Bought this to play with the grandkids aged 8 and 4. It’s very easy to play (just matching up pictures) and surprisingly addictive! It’s at a level that suits all ages, although the 4 year old wasn’t quite as quick to find a match so we had to make the odd allowance for her. Our 8 year old was so good that us oldies never won a game!
It seems expensive for a tin of cards but they are well made, beautifully designed and it’s quick and exciting to play.
    I would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant! The family love this and my 8 year old grandson says it’s his favourite game. So easy to play and it doesn’t matter how old you are you all have an equal chance of winning. Fast and a bit noisy as everyone shouts out when they see their character.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFab little compact card game
My mind is blown. Such a simple little game involving matching. Boiled down to its basic premise, you need to try and spot which item on your card matches an item on another card. There will always be one item that matches. This is the part that makes my head spin! No idea how they manage to ensure there’s always one matching item, regardless of which 2 cards you pick up. Something to do with algorithms and a sprinkle of magic. There are several game variants to keep things interesting and the cards come in a very handy small tin so it’s fab for travelling, taking to the pub to keep the children entertained during Sunday lunch, or playing at home.

Would recommended adding this as a stocking filler for christmas.

Great to play by the pool
We have a number of the Dobble games but was looking for something for the poolside while on a recent holiday to Majorca.

The game is beautiful in its simplicity. I’ve been playing it with both my children from the age of two respectively. There’s a couple of different ways to play to keep it a bit different now & again.

This particular version now resides in my “Dad bag” and has seen more use beyond the holiday – we’ve used it in restaurants while waiting for meals or on the train. It’s compact, plastic-y for wipe clean, colourful and fun.

I really enjoy Dobble. It’s a simple game but hard too, & it is really fun & addictive!
It is a great family game (I only play it with adults, but this would be perfect for children too).

The game is a bit like “snap”, but with multiple pictures (each card will have 1 matching picture) that may be in a different size, it is not always easy to see what matches!

Absolutely love this game. I bought it after seeing Paddy McGuiness playing it on his Instagram when he was taking part in Soccer Aid and I thought it looked like a fun game to play with my family. Me and my 5 year old love playing this together and it really helps her practice with keeping her focus on a task, with her visual memory, taking turns and being a good sport. We often take this on trips away as it is so compact and easy to carry. Really good for camping trips and a game for all ages

OMG this is the best game ever! We have two 4 year olds and a 6 year olds and they were instantly in love with it, and so were we. There are so many ways to play and don’t expect the grown ups to have to “let the kids win” because this game is a great leveller. Its perfect for by the pool side, waiting for meals in restaurants and for when Great Aunt so and so comes to visit… Beware though it can get loud!

Good easy to play game that’s fun for all ages. We played it with a group of mixed age (8 – 66) fellow cruisers on our recent holiday and everyone enjoyed it so much we’ve all bought one. Can be made more interesting for adults by turning it into a drinking game – loser/winner has to finish their drink in one!
