Easy installation, although I like windows wide open but this is a perfect compromise between cat escaping and shut windows. Feels solid and durable. Only concern is the sticker not lasting but if the supplied stickers fails it can be replaced by screws or other stickers/glues. There are spare stickers in the pack so can’t complain.

Works perfectly
Although it is not designed to act as a window width restrictor to stop the window from blowing open on a windy day I thought I would try it to see if it worked. It is fair to say that in my experience it has worked exactly as I had hoped, which means I can leave my window open even on those slightly more blustery days without fear of the window blowing all the way open with a sudden gust!

Great quality and well secured
Really good; have been wanting to buy this for along tim and glad I did. Well secured with the stick on option . You can screw if you want but wasn’t required. Will buy more.
This has been a great device especially when visitors have been during lockdown. I have mine at the bottom of french doors, the only drawback is bending down to undo it requires 2 hands, but I can’t think of a solution for this except my age which is why I have given it 5 stars

Very easy to install, allows the window to open 2 to 3 inches, not wide enough for my cat to escape through, so just what I needed. I’ll be ordering more now the weather is getting warmer.
Not just for kids - works great for cats
Brilliant product. Bought one to test out on the window to keep the curious kitten indoors as an alternative to very expensive window screens – did exactly what it says. Adhesive is very strong, and was easy to install. No drilling required which is great for rentals and extra sticky tabs supplied should you need them. You can set how much the window will open depending on where you stick either ends down as there is only one lock position. Impressed with the quality of this product and intend to buy a few more.

Installed three in moments myself after watching install video. Just be careful and think about where you put it to get the right stretch. I messed up the first one and couldn’t open the window more than a few cm! But am sure this was my fault for not positioning it correctly for my type of window frame. Another plus you get spare sticky pads.

Easy to install.
Perfect for what we want, to restrict the amount one of our windows will open. We’re hoping to have new windows fitted in 12 or so months so didn’t want to mess about with drilling and fixing so this was perfect. Seems secure so far, does exactly what we need it too. Also comes with spare adhesive tapes so we may reuse once the new windows in to save drilling near the new windows.

I loved these so much I bought more !!! Allows my windows to be open enough to let fresh air in but keep my two indoor cats safe inside. I even fitted one on my conservatory door and front door. Bought two of these to pop onto my child’s windows, for extra security. Was incredibly easy to install, and was very surprised with how strong they are. There has been times when I forgot they were on, and quite abruptly opened the window, and the strength of them restricting it from opening further was impressive ! I have no concerns when it comes to an emergency, as they are simple to detach, and open fully (thankfully not too simple though !)
As for cats, I have two indoor cats who love to sit in the windows. Definitely suited to keep them safe also. Which has resulted in me ordering a couple more.

Easy to use and strong
Very easy to install if you read the instructions correctly. These are really strong, I’m 95kgs and pressed against the window relatively hard with no give or major movement (slight flex as expected) once locked in place.
We bought this as we have a cat and I was worried about him getting out the windows. It was very easy to install and seems very strong and sturdy. I like that you can unlock it to open the window fully when you want. It is also very discreet as it blends in with our window and doesn’t draw attention to it. I feel much better as it feels very secure. The instructions were very easy to follow and it was quick to set up. We have a few other windows so will be buying more before the summer when this will definitely be needed!

These were easy to fit to windows to prevent them being opened by a 2 year old. They can be opened a little way, safely, for fresh air.
I do find it tricky to unlatch the safety mechanism in order to open the window fully but I don’t need to do this very often.

Easy, efficient and simple
I bought this so that we could open the windows slightly and prevent our younger cat to get out. It is super simple to instal, seems to be very resistant (both cats tried to open the window more and failed) and super easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone with pets or children to be used on windows and even kitchen/garden doors.
It works without screws!
Just bought one to start with to allow the windows open wider than vent for house cats. Easy to install, just adjusted the positioning so the window doesn’t open enough for the cat to push his head through! Very pleased, will buy more for the other windows in time for the warmer months.

Super easy to apply, i got this for my cat as i live in an apartment, & you can adjust the restrictor only before you apply it, so if i labeled how far i wanted my windows to open then i stuck it on, super strong would definitely recommend
Brilliant - peace of mind, simple to fit.
They’re brilliant – very easy to fit and super adhesive. They allow the windows to open to a safe distance and it’s very easy (for an adult, not a child) to unlatch them to open fully if you need to.
Only minor annoyance as other reviewers have mentioned is that they aren’t reversible- if you’ve got a window with the handle on the left then it fits ‘correctly’ but for the window with a handle on the right you have to fit them upside down. Safety isn’t compromised but they’re just slightly asymmetrical as you look at the whole window. Not a big deal.
Pleased with the results
Window opens outwards but to the right so used the advice from a previous review and installed it upside down. It takes at least 25 hours for the adhesive tape to stick but I’d already used screws by the time I realised.
Great little gadge
I used this for a downstairs window that had no restrickers fitted. It was easy to use and does the job perfectly. If anything i could have done with a longer version but i still get the ventilation i needed.

Saved my soul!! The window locks currently on the windows can easily be undone without a key. Super easy to fit and confident that they’re strong enough to hold. No drilling.

Very easy to use and look well on the window which I was worried about. Bought as will be renting my apartment out and it’s a requirement to have safety locks on the window. Didn’t want to drill holes so these solved that problem.

I like how easy to install this item was, and will wait and see in time how the tape holds this BeeGo window restrictor and weather i would need to add screws over time. So far i like it we got this window restrictor to stop the wind from opening our window all the time and it’s working very well, so I’m very happy.

I thought I’d dropped the ball ordering this item, as when I went to fit it I realised it was for windows that open outwards !, ours open inwards ! (Duh !!). However, got around it and you can stil use them as a full opening lock. Fitted at the top across both windows so they can both open on tilt with the lock in place, or open fully if the lock is disengaged. Job done, kids safe.

Really easy to install, just sticks on securely. The bit that fits to the frame has holes for optional screw (not provided), but the bit that sticks to the window surround doesn’t. Would have been nice to have the option for my piece of mind, but adhesive does seem strong enough.

Nice sturdy window restrictor. Doesn’t look the best but does the job and puts my mind at rest. Easy to install.

Does the job. It deters our toddler and cats from trying to break free. There is a choice of using screws in the attachment, but the sticky pads work fine here. It improves our peace of mind, as an adult can detach the mechanism quite well with two hands.
Absolutely fantastic
We live on the first floor and our child can easily reach the window handle so window security was our primary concern. This restrictor is absolutely fantastic. It’s been on the windows for some time but it’s like new.it was easy to install but holds firm and the adhesive type used to install is very solid too. I feel more secure now, I wish they had them in white too. They only had grey at the time
Once fitted they work verywell
I ruined one as I had not lined it up properly and didnt realise. I hadnt realised that you supply them in white as well as grey. I returned the two unused and reordered white ones instead.

Used on a patio door to allow fresh air in but not get blown shut by the wind. Works well for us so far. It only permits fully open or completely shut with no adjustment but the gap is sufficient. Fitting was straight forward. Overall this was a good product.

With 4 indoor cats means we can now leave windows open with cats in the room and no risk of escape. Okay to fit, but once it’s touched the surface you’ve no chance of repositioning so make sure you place it right. We don’t push it to the locked position either as they are at the bottom of the window you need to be double jointed to unlock them.

After my son managed to open his bedroom window I ordered this right away. It came very quick the next day, and it was so simple to set up. I left on for 24 hours to fuse as instructed, and there is no way my son can open the window now! It allows to open the window a few cm, so I can still allow air into the room. Means I don’t have to keep it permanently locked. Excellent product and would highly recommend

Ideal for kids or pets
Love these ! My kids always want to jump out the windows and they are little escape artists. I put these at the top of the window frame and to be honest you don’t even notice they are there. The sticky is strong and I even gave it a shove and it held. With use chains/ key types for upstairs windows but these are fabulous and I highly recommend.
I’ve now purchased 3 of these restrictors and they have made a huge difference to our house. We have 2 house cats so could never open our windows until we bought these. We can now open the windows enough to let a nice breeze into the house but they restrict the window enough so that the cats can’t squeeze through the gap. They also stick really well, the cats have tried several times to push the windows open further and they don’t budge at all. We plan to purchase more for all of the windows in the house. Use it to stop my cats getting out. So easy to install, just line up in the right place depending on how far you want the window to open, and stick on. Very very sticky, there’s no budging it. Also when I do want the window to open further, you just unclick the lock and then click it back in to lock again. So easy. Buying a few more.

Seems sturdy at the current time but only been fitted for one day so can’t comment on the longevity of this item (hence only four stars). I liked the fact that there was no drilling & all I had to do was stick it on. I use this so my cats can’t fall out the window & so far so good I’m also going to buy another one for my living room window. I would definitely recommend
Fitted in minutes and easy to use.
Bought to stop my cat getting out the bedroom windows as we live on a main road. So perfect I’ve bought 3 now. Easy to fit and use. Just ensure before you stick it that it will open to its fullest extent. First one fitted didn’t quite extend and is still usable but doesn’t lock in the open position so a gust of wind and it shuts itself. If its for child safety I would do regular checks to ensure it stays stuck due to heat or condensation. I’m really happy with my purchase.

These are good quality safety locks, i was a little wary that they are self adhesive, so cleaned the area they were to be stuck too, im glad i got the position correct first time because they are not coming back off,

I am actually using these to be able to keep a window open for my cats to get back through during the night. I have used 2 on one window for peace of mind. They are very secure and would recommend them to families with young children. I am going to order more, so that my little dog cant jump out of my open windows.

A friend told me about this, one of the best things I’ve ever brought! I have a 5 year old house cat and can now open my windows for the first time since I had her! Loved it so much I ordered another the next day!
I know these are advertised for children but i actually brought these for my cats so i could have my windows slightly open to get fresh air but not wide enough for them to fit through. I have 5 indoor cats and for about 3 years i have suffered from a hot stuffy bedroom because i was scared to open my windows however now i have these locks they have been open everyday!! They are easy to install and are very strong (i put them too low down and couldn’t shut my window and i had to use a screwdriver and hammer to pry these off so they wont move for a baby or animal aha).
100% recommend these as they are cheaper and better than other window locks. Cant fault this product, well done.
Does what it says on the tin!
Arrived on time, took only minutes to install although our bevelled window frames made positioning a bit tricky as create a bit of an angle. Probably do not fit as designed due the to the bevelled frames, so we have to push the button to manually lock them in the open position, I think if they laid flat opening the window fully would mean they would click into lock mode automatically. This is not a huge problem and onced locked are certainly secure.
Haven’t tried throwing any children out ! but they have stopped the stray cats climbing in with window open during hot weather.

Arrived quickly and easily installed doesn’t move once in place and is very favourable safety item over the similar destructors that screw in. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t sit totally flush on the window because of our window shape (but this is my own fault as I didn’t measure my window) it still works totally fine and is still very secure though

These are brilliant! We wanted a ‘no drill’ window restrictor to stop our little boy leaning out the window. Bought one to test it and was very impressed, then needed another 2 for the other upstairs windows. Had to wait for a re-stock but was worth the wait. Couldn’t find any other similar product available for sale anywhere. Very easy to install- the sticky pad is so sticky so make sure you’re happy with where you stick it as it’s definitely not coming off again. Really sturdy and no worries about a child managing to force it loose. The new addition of a little tab to help pull off the backing paper made them much easier to install than the first one we had. Would definitely recommend- a great product.

Although these are intended to be for children’s safety I actually purchased it because I have indoor cats and there’s no way I can have the windows shut or just on latch through summer! I got one to test it out and it does the job perfectly, I adjusted the recommended placement so the window doesn’t open quite as much as intended as one of the cats could still get her head through but I still had no problem getting it set up and installed, it’s stuck to the window frame so well – no way that is getting knocked off! It’s so good I’ve just ordered another 7 for the other windows!
Sturdy produc
I bought this as I live in a rented property so didn’t want to drill holes in the window frames. It was easy to install and is sturdy, it restricts the opening enough that the cat can’t climb out the top floor windows. Make sure you place it properly as the tape is very sticky, as it should be. All in all a good product and a lot cheaper than vet bills.

I didn’t get it for child safety I got it because my window is very high up and when it opens up fully I need a step ladder to close it unfortunately but this product has help solve that problem as it stops my window opening up to far so I’m extremely pleased with the product and service too. Great product design for holding a window / French door / door, in place without it opening, closing or wobbling about. Have attached it so it’s a wide enough opening for a nice breeze but not wide enough to allow adult cats to go through. Easy to unlatch to shut.
Is a safety device as you need 2 hands to unlatch it to be able to open the window / door and this has to be done a certain way. Just to be aware, the small latch you have to lift is on a strong spring and isn’t easy for physically weak or arthritis hands.

Amazing product. Bought these to keep a house at safe indoors. Sticks beautifully to UPVC windows and creates a gap a cat cannot get through but at the same time allows a window to open sufficiently for fresh air and not just tiny ventilation.

Great product. This is exactly what I was looking for. Easily attached with no drilling! Seems to be sturdy. Cannot find alternative on the market. Definitely recommend for others. The gap is predefined but this can be easily modified and made smaller if required.
my problem was two fold.
1. I needed to restrict the window because my cat seems to think its fun to jump out of the upstairs windows and give me a heart attack.
2. The location of my house on a bend means most strong winds will either blow the window shut or damn near take it off its hinges.
this is absolutely perfect for adressing both issues because it can lock into place while not being open too wide!! Far better than any of the other child safety locks ive tried, and its so easy to fit, since its just two pieces adhered with very strong sticky tape.
I hope they are back in stock soon as since telling people about them I have been asked to buy some for other people as well as more for my own house 🙂
Nice and sturdy. Not really suitable for slender frames.
I really like how sturdy and easy to use this is, but all our upstairs frames are inset into heavy wood casing, and the consequence of the size of this is that it’s a pain to install on aluminium or steel windows with slim frames and bezels. It would be fine on PVC but with pvc you have much nearer options available too.
Like another reviewer said I had to install upside down as the window opens the opposite direction but it works perfectly and seems very safe and secure. Very happy customer I love that you can have the window open full if you want but also have the security of knowing pets and kids are safe when needed

It was very easy to fit and has been invaluable for preventing my escape artist cat from getting out.

I cannot believe how quick and simple this was to fit.
I small warning. If your window opens from the right you have to fit it upsidedown which means the plastic injection mould dots are visible and pretty ugly. But hey, safety first.

Lets us open the window further (approx 4 inches) and still keeps our dog safe. Sticks to the framework very well. multiple fixing places. Bought 2 and fitted one for now but will fit the other soon ready for the summer heat !
Bought 3 of these for my kids bedrooms as they like sitting on the windowsill despite me suffering near heart failure every time they do it.
Really easy to fit and VERY sturdy, there’s no getting them off once they are fixed with the added bonus that you don’t have to drill any holes.
Feel much better about them playing in their rooms now knowing they can’t climb out of the windows. Would definitely recommend!

Quite impressed with this. I was looking for something for one of our rooms upstairs which gets quite stuffy as our cats are in there mostly, but I can’t open the window properly there as they all constantly try and jump out onto the roof. I was looking for something that could hold open the window but that also wasn’t too difficult and didn’t require lots of tools to install and this was great. It just comes in 2 parts, one which locks into the other when in use, and you can leave them unconnected whenever you just want to use your windows as normal. One thing to note though is that the tape on the back of the parts is extremely strong, to the point where when I tried to move the smaller part an inch within about a second after it had gone on, it required a lot of force and actually pulled a bit of the wall I had to put it onto off (we don’t have side opening windows, although mind you that wall isn’t in the best of shape anyway), so when installing it if you can manage to put both parts onto the frame then I’d definitely suggest sticking with that, but the strength of the tape is great as it means this would take a serious amount of pressure on the window to get it to break. A really solid item and I’m sure I’ll buy more for other rooms.
