I purchased this as my new Sony Bravia xh500 legs were too far apart for my tv stand. The stand is very sturdy and can be adjusted to different heights ranging about 1-5 inches I would say. Looks better than the legs the tv came with. Really great value for money and would recommend

This was exactly what I ordered. A little fiddly but relatively easy to assemble. Only issue I have booked that the bracket at the back runs across exactly where my wiring on backnof TV is, won’t is difficult to get to change any cables to change devices. VERY PLEASED WITH PRODUCT
Well made, light construction, but strong. Infinite adjustments offered, which helped me achieve my aim. I had a problem siting my new Soundbar in front and slightly underneath the tv using the existing stand supplied with the tv. Using the Bontec stand I was able to raise the tv slightly up, allowIng the sound bar to be positioned where I wanted it placed. I have noticed that Panasonic have changed their stand designs to do exactly what I wanted to achieve so well done.

I wasn’t expecting great things from this at the price point considering that it was 25 and the nearest ones available from argos or PC world seem to start at 70.
The quality seems really good and the 40″ TV is sturdy. Aesthetically it looks really smart with the glass base. You wouldn’t think it was a cheap stand at all. Instructions are clear although Some thought needs to be put into positioning of the brackets both on the back of the TV and where the bar mounts onto the stand so that the TV sits a nice height from the base. It has plenty of different ways to adjust but would advise not tightening the screws in the order of the instructions as you may need to change things around a couple of times to get it right. There is a good variety of spacer washers and bolts to mount the TV to the bracket too. I would not hesitate to buy another in the future if needed.

A Smart, sturdy , well made TV stand.
Purchased from Amazon. It arrived next day in a safe well padded box. On opening the box I spread out all the components & checked them against the instructions sheet. At first it looked a little confusing but studied it for a few minutes & found the instructions very easy to follow. I had no trouble assembling it and am very impressed with the quality & strength of it. I find it hard to believe it could be as low a price as it was considering how good it is. Reading some of the poor reviews it is obvious that some people don’t follow the instructions to the letter.
I am unable to make a negative comment about this stand & recommend it very highly.10 out of 10 for me.

I removed the standard TV stand from a Bravia OLED so that I could install ambient lighting and raise the screen. Rather than drilling holes in a wall and using a TV cabinet, this is the perfect solution. Took about 5 minutes to assemble and mount the TV.

Does what it says on the box.
The base and upright support are solid, simple to assemble. The only criticism is that the screws supplied were far to long for the TV, the stand was being fitted too. This necessitated the use of spacers to fit the brackets to the back of the TV, making it tricky to align perfectly and ended up looking untidy and sloppy.

Good quality, steel frane with a glass base. Mostly it was easy, I was a little stuck at first but it was straight forward when I worked out the instructions. It comes with alternative bolts for different tvs, a spanner and allen key. As I say you may have sone bits over but thats intentional.
My tv was 43″ but it can go to 55 I think.

A good bit of kit. Easy to put together until the very last step of putting on the securing screws. I tried for ages to figure it out. I tried to attach the tiny securing mechanism all sorts of ways – upside down, back to front, screws in the other way but I was defeated. It was like trying to solve a Chinese puzzle.
I eventually resorted to looking at the short instruction video on Amazon and got the solution in about 20 seconds.
So my advice is – look at the excellent instruction video on Amazon when assembling.

Couldn’t find the original stand and see this item, didn’t hold out to much due to the price, but……..fantastic piece of kit, highly recommended and even brought a second for my inlaws for the same reasons. Great quality, great price, great product. 5 stars well worth it.
Quality for the price
I used this stand for a curved Samsung UE49MU6500 TV and it fits the stand perfect. I would of gave it a 5 for the set up as it was easy but when completing step 2 the third hole didn’t align so easily. I read a previous review suggesting loosening the first two and aligning it then which worked spot on. All in all great for the price and very sturdy stand.

in separate plastic pockets and clearly labelled. Instructions were comprehensive and clear.

Took a bit of working out, largely cos the VESA on my Bravia needed “extender plugs” put in to fit the screws that came with this unit. The Bravia had “non adjustable feet” that made it impossible to use on a corner TV unit

An Absolute Life (or maybe TV?) Saver!
Earlier this week, I purchased an LG 43UP75006LF TV. The TV itself is brilliant, but the tiny little plastic legs which it come with it are a absolutely laughable – a passing budgie breaking wind would cause the set to crash onto the floor. A disaster waiting to happen. Pick up the set, and those stupid legs just fall off – I kid you not! LG – what were you thinking?
Fortunately, I saw this BonTec TV stand on Amazon at a very reasonable price. The well-built, sturdy stand came yesterday and was very quick and easy to assemble. The new telly is now on a much firmer footing. Companies like LG need to realise that not everyone screws their TV to the wall.
Quibbles? The only scary part was screwing the support brackets into the back of the TV. Bontec provide a wide range of bolts to suit most sets. Even so, I’d suggest using a very thin screwdriver or perhaps a needle to gently “probe” the mounting holes on the back of the set to assess the depth of the holes. Don’t make a mistake at this point! My only suggestion to Bontec (or to LG) would be to provide a lookup table on their website allowing customers to type in the TV model number and instantly know the correct bolt size for that set.
All in all, a brilliant product – well done Bontec. And LG? Get your act together. Those pathetic little plastic feet are just not fit for purpose.

Sturdy and versatile television stand
The stand comes with a multitude of screws and adjustment features. It is quite a hefty stand which is essential in securing heavy television sets. Assembly is straight forward.
It’s been a couple of years and this stand has stood the test of time. It coped very well with an old 50″ plasma set (which weighed 45kg) and a new 55″ OLED screen weighing 18kg.
It’s a case of it does what it says on the tin. Highly recommended as a television stand.

I got this stand to use on my old wall mounted 39″ Toshiba TV to use in the spare room. Was easy to assemble and the TV fits brilliant, much better than one double the price I returned due to it being unstable.

Solved my problem!
The product solved my problem of being able to fit my tv on a smaller table. Works well but I had to take a while to understand the instructions and adapt a couple of the washers for my tv.

The packaging first seems intimidating but is actually quite simple to set up. And the stand feels far more sturdy than I had expected for this price. And the glass base actually adds a premium look to your set up. You can’t go wrong.

Having used wall-mounted brackets for the last few years I was a bit nervous about buying a table-top TV stand. I needn’t have worried with this great product, which is reasonably priced.
The item arrived very well packaged, and contains good instructions. The myriad of parts (including a good selection of different sized VESA bolts) are very well labelled in a series of plastic pouches (a bit like a Lego set!).
There is a good range of different mounting holes to choose the height of the TV relative to the table top. 3 different positions for the main horizontal strut and several options for the height of the 2 brackets that are attached to the TV itself, and 2 different heights to hang the TV at the final stage of installation. I was able to put my shiny OLED 48 inch TV to be clear of my SONOS Beam soundbar, with space to spare. I recommend lining everything up without tightening everything fully to check the heights of everything (including clearance of sockets on the rear of your TV). Once you’re happy with the position, take the TV off one last time (ideally with help from another person to avoid dropping your TV) and then tighten the 4 main bolts fully (with the supplied Allen key and spanner).
I particularly liked the provision of 2 cable tidies that attach to the column, to help hide cables behind the main column, excellent 🙂 Plus I could also hide most of the cables from my soundbar underneath the rectangular base (as it has 4 rubber feet that lift the base approx 5-8 mm clear of the table top).
There was only 1 part of the instructions that I wasn’t clear on how to fit (the small final brackets that stop the TV being removed), but I eventually figured it out.
I am extremely pleased with the look of the TV stand (the glass of the base looks lovely once I’d polished out my fingerprints!) and the black metal of the rest of the unit looks of good quality. I highly recommend this product. Yes it would be nice to have a stand that you can adjust up and down with the TV in-situ, but that would cost a lot more money – and how often do you really need to change the height of your telly?!

Perfect for small TV cabinets
After buying a new 55 in TV. Discovered the designated TV feet were much wider than my cabinet.
This bontec TV stand irradicated that problem. Just assemble and attach brackets onto back of tv. Hey presto, slot it on and all done.
And with a wide array of washers bolts and spacers, no worries on the different designs the tv manufacturers make the rear of sets

Surprisingly easy to assemble
Given that this is a universal stand, I expected some questions while putting the stand together but in fact, the instructions were excellent and it was very easy to assemble the stand and mount the TV.

I bought this for my parents as they had bought a Sony tv, Unfortunately the stand that came with the Sony tv wouldn’t fit on our console table. I had an idea to buy this, As soon as it came you could tell that it was a good quality product.
It’s been three months and it does its job perfectly, Super sturdy and such a great colour. I would Highly recommend this product!
