It’s a Bosch wants not to like
Pleasantly surprised have fish and perfect looking and great this is.
Wasn’t my want but extremely pleased I have it . A nice touch of Sophistication for my kitchen.
Arrived damage so had to retu
Ordered one of these kettles as we had one in our holiday cottage on Mull and found it to be very easy to fill, pour and heat up. It does have a very loud beep to announce temperature achieved which may annoy some! We rated this kettle on that experience.
Unfortunately, when our ordered one arrived the metal rings/rivets in the base had fallen inwards into the base of the kettle and so it rattled! Probably caused by delivery method – it just arrived in its box with no added packaging. Bosch helpline suggested it would be safe to use but also agreed we should return to our seller for refund as it was “damaged”. Once we feel happy to enter a shop we will attempt to buy another kettle in person so we can be assured it is okay!

Like for like replacement for old kettle
Had this model for a few years and replaced with same model
Great Kettle
The kettle arrived larger than I thought, but solid and I just fill to what I need accordingly. Very pleased I choose this kettle. I have several Bosch appliance and wasnt aware they did kettles too. Recommend if you need as a family size, good looking kettle.
Best on the market- probably!
Second one of these. Still think it’s the best kettle on the marketplace. Beeps when temp reached, does not fingermark and cool outer surface helps child/ elderly safety. Fill level is clear. Different temps available makes very versatile
Love the beep when it reaches temperature
The kettle is very good for what it is, after all, it’s just a kettle that boils water with a couple a good features.
Would i recommend it! I guess, it’s a conditional yes, It’s very expensive, but if your happy with the price, then, go for it.
There are a lot of competition out there, which is much cheaper, longevity may be a factor, but time will tell.
Well pleased
I’m so pleased with this kettle. I’ve wanted a variable temperature kettle for some time for better instant coffee and this does the job. Reasonably priced and easy to operate.
Perfect kettle
This is an excellent kettle, boils quickly and quietly. The variable temp setting is a great feature, while the cool touch outer shell and secure lid are good safety features.
Replacement kettle
Bought the same kettle I’ve had for last three years which stopped working. Everything is good except the noise level. Much, much louder!! Bit disappointed. Cannot hear the tv over the noise .
Great when it works
We love this kettle but it stopped working after 18 moths and we had to buy it again. Yes, we bought the same one, because, when it works it is fabulous. It has a greater capacity than most (1.7L) and looks the business. Hopefully, this one will last a little longer.
Impressive!
This is a fine kettle. It fills easily, pours accurately, heats quietly and rapidly, has preset temperatures to choose and a keep hot (warm seems a bit inaccurate) option. It looks good and the fill level is easy to read despite there being no internal illumination. Recommended!

Control at your fingertips! Its great!
I like it all! No quarrels to mention. Reduces your carbon output.
When Bosh make a kettle!
The Bosh kettle is simply the best electric kettle I’ve owned .
The best kettle we have owned
Resl solid and effective kettle
Last one was used and abused for 10 years and it’s only being replaced as it’s looking its age but it still boils water. Solid and reliable produc
Does the job nicely.
Despite some negative reviews on here I decided to give it a go anyways. Not many other kettles had a temperature function which I wanted for green tea and coffee. The ones which did were either very expensive or cheap with awful reviews.
Temperate function works really well and ‘keep warm’ function is nice too.
Love that the kettle is insulted and you can touch the outside of it – even when boiled to 100 (if you so desired). This serves a dual purpose; prevents accidental burns and keeps the water hotter for significantly longer (especially compared to my previous glass kettle).
Seen some reviews that it’s noisy but compared to previous kettles, it’s quieter by a fair margin. I don’t know what you expect when you’re boiling water?! The beep when boiled is loud but again, it’s meant to be…?
The base and button are very nice and intuitive.
In terms of longevity, I cannot comment as I’ve only had it over a week but so far so good.

Brilliant! but a couple of niggles
The kettle is a mile away from our old Morphy Rich. However, couple of things: When you fill you cant see the fill level which is behind the handle. Takes a bit of getting used to! Second, be careful when pouring boiling water dont rush the boiling water out, be gentle!. Would still heartily recommend.

Good kettle
A very good kettle that should’ve been a great kettle. It boils quickly & is amongst the quieter kettles I’ve owned. It has a good capacity but it can be hard to read the amoun of water in it on the gave as it’s not lit up. Also while the temperature control is very good if it started at a slightly lower level say 60 degrees it would be great. None of the very slight niggles should put you off though as it is quick to boil & reasonably quiet.

Brilliant Kettle
I purchased this kettle to replace my old one which was cutting out. A friend recommended the Bosch Styline so thought I’d try it. It is so fast and very quiet. The variable temperature choice means you can use it at 100 degrees for very hot, which makes a perfect cup of tea, 90 degree setting is best for coffee and the 70-80 degree setting for herbal teas and hot water bottle filling etc. You’re saving on energy, because you are not boiling a kettle to the max when you only need a lower temperature. It also has a Keep Warm setting which is very useful too. They do it in black or white. Can highly recommend this kettle.

Stylish and fas
This is 3rd time we’ve had the same kettle – love i
Great!
This is the best electric kettle I ever used! Worth the money, and looks very modern. Would recommed 🙂
Good deep toaster and solid kettle
I like the depth of the toaster, takes the full slice, unlike many others. I also like the integrated warming rack. The kettle is solid and both have a nice feel to them. My only complaint is the lid sticks a little on the kettle.
Looks nice boils fas
Great looking kettle boils fast and has no after taste like some new kettles do
Good temp control kettle
Decent kettle, boils quick and to selected temperature, not noisy. bit on the ugly side (like a big flask) and prefer do with digital display to say how many cups in.
Will boil them only half a cup
Efficient and easy use
I have had one of these kettles before and they are so reliable my last one I am sure I’ve had it for 8 years or more and sadly something went wrong on the base unit but on average most kettles dont last this long ,
So on that reason alone i searched for the same model . After my delivery i checked my old kettle on the new stand it still boiled water , that’s how reliable it was.
Sadly the base unit on my old kettle a contact had failed after 8 years and although it may have been serviceable it had anti tampa screws on it. So the old kettle will be boxed and kept as a spare .
It is a good quality unit I apprpve it and it comes in a choice of 4 colours .
Great choice well worth the price for quality.

Really impressed with this kettle very fast boil would recommend
Nice quiet kettle visual temperature boil nice touch and can alter different temperatures which is great fast boil .
could so easily have been 5*
The kettle works very well and we like the different temperature settings and the ability to keep the water at temperature for 30 minutes.
I could not give it 5* due to what I believe is a basic design fault. The window to see how much water sin the kettle is placed behind the handle instead of on the side. This makes it difficult to see the amount of water in the kettle. It also means that the kettle could be less efficient than possible as people could be putting in more water than required and therefore using more electricity.

Great kettle
This is the best! Boils water really quickly and can also adjust the temperature for other types of hot drinks. Worth every penny!
Worth the money!
Chunkier than I’d usually like, this kettle feels like a durable piece of kit. The plastic outer coating means the outer walls maintain a safe temperature and despite its size it is surprisingly lightweight.
Handle is comfortable to grip, lid works effectively, pouring spout doesn’t dribble. The temperature controls are easy to operate and it is really quiet. I particularly like the little “beep” as it hits the selected temperature. Hopefully it will last longer than my previous two non-branded kettles which both died within a year of purchase due to frequency of use.
I’m slightly amused by how much I love this kettle, I would definitely buy it again!

MADE IN CHINA! - lost it one star, however - - -
As there’s absolutely no reason to boil water for any kind of brew we were keen to replace our defunct and now unrepairable old kettle with a temperature control kettle, and something a little smaller than our old kettle. An electric kettle is more efficient than a stove top, and temperature control increases that efficiency, less wasted energy. However, by comparison with the short-lived of modern electrics, our old cordless stainless steel kettle kept a boil for more than 20 years, only becoming problematic this last year…
Well aware of the 1, 2, & 3 star ratings, and having read them with concern, especially life expectancy and reported faults, we saw the balance, 4 & 5 stars making up 91% of the reviews, and we decided to go for this one anyway.
What we like – the temperature control and the way it counts/lights up from 70 to 80 to 90 to 100, depending on which you’ve set it at. The ‘Keep Warm’ option/button is a nice touch too. The balance, handle to kettle, and the pour, are great, and it is lighter than our old fully stainless steel kettle. Despite some reporting a plastic taste, and while it is predominately plastic inside, following the instruction, two boils and a little vinegar, thrown away before first actual use, we’ve not detected that problem at all. However, the double walled construction does really add a level of insulation that means the water keeps warm longer than it did with our full metal one.
Some disappointment was found inside – except for the stainless steel bottom it’s all plastic, as too most of the outside, minus that purely cosmetic band of steel around the top two fifths or so of the kettle, but, as already said, there is that added insulation. As others have mentioned, the level reading behind the handle is also a bit of a drawback. However, it’s quite wide and it’s easily read, left or right, and when it’s on its stand. If you’re filling with an open window before you, it is VERY easy to read and to measure out what’s wanted. So, really, that very wide bit of clear plastic is not a drawback for us. It works brilliantly, is easy to read.
We’ve been using it for a couple of months now and our appreciation only grows, including for the various noises, as when it lets you know it’s reached the temperature you’ve selected. Time may reveal more…
Our biggest disappointment with this purchase – ‘Made in China’! It is for me a serious concern and reading that did make my heart drop a beat and cause hesitation. But, as you’ll no doubt know, it’s damned hard to find almost anything that isn’t ‘Made in China’. We absolutely do not equate that with ‘quality’, on the contrary. The 1 & 2 star reviews speak to some of the experiences we’ve had with other things ‘Made in China’ – cutting corners, short life expectancy, cheap materials, poor quality plastics, etc. And there’s much worse – the putting of profit before human & environmental concerns; the general corruption of a communist system; a general lack of quality control – from a distance; their general disrespect for patents and human life and liberty; and China being the world’s capital for the making and distribution of counterfeit products.
Why do multi-national companies choose China to do their manufacturing – profit! – no environmental controls! – cheap labour! – from those mining the resources to those working along the whole line of processes towards the finished product, kettles included – with a lack of care or concern for work and life conditions, for human or environmental rights; high incidences of pollution (land, water, air); high instances of lung ailments, cancer and mental health issues… But, hey ho, the dirt of all that isn’t in our backyard, we export it. Yes, I do feel some shame in that, mea culpa! Our general opinion of Bosch has gone down a star because of this choice of theirs to make their products, this kettle, in China…
Those companies that have kept their manufacturing at home, or have pulled out of China, those are among our heroes, deserving praise and more deserving of our consideration and money. I so wish we could have found something like this that wasn’t ‘Made in China’, and that was fully stainless steel inside, with loads of reviews that were 100% 4 & 5 stars…

Sleek and stylish kettle
This is a nice, efficient and easy to use kettle. It brings the water up to thedesired temperature quickly and also looks nice with its simple , elegant lines.
Great Kettle.
I bought this Kettle to replace one of the same that l have had for years, it has a beep signal when you turn it on and also when it turns off. The temperature light flashes as it heats up, you get 4 temperatures to choose from 70 to 100, a choice to use depending on what you are using the water for. I certainly recommend it.

Kettle
The kettle looks really stylish and actually is very good with boiling water quickly and quietly. The body of the kettle only gets warm when fully boiled water is inside so safe to touch. The keep warm function is good although I don’t use that often but is useful for mornings when you have one drink after another. Really pleased with the look of the item and how it works. Is really just a kettle but does exactly what it says so no issues at all
Worth the price
The best kettle I have ever bought! It is cool to the touch. Boils quickly, reaching required temperature quickly. The choice of temperature is fantastic, and the keep warm function is invaluable.
Just the job
Having bought one of thes type many years ago there was no other kettle I looked at still is grea
Great quick boil kettle
This kettle looks great. Boils quick plus you can set the temperature. No kettle is noise free but this is quick so noise isn’t an issue.
Superb kettle
V quick & efficient due to double wall. Outer wall is coolest I’ve ever had on a kettle. The temp control settings are 100, 90, 80 &70C. Several minutes after cutting out at 90 water still v close to 90. The beep when switching on is actually short & quite quiet, not at all the horrendous noise some reviews state. I guess if you were blind this could useful. The beep at reaching temperature is useful as I am often doing other things while it heats. Looks v smart. Delighted with another quality Bosch domestic appliance.

Early Signs Kettle of Bosch Quality
It’s too early to comment on energy efficiency or how long it may last. However, the Bosch Styline Sensor certainly looks the part: it is a solid stylish kettle. It seems no noisier than previous kettles we’ve owned and I really like the ability to set different “boiling” temperatures. As to price, it wasn’t much more expensive than the average.

Great produc
I bought my kettle in 2013 and it still works perfectly. No leaks, no problems at all. It looks great and heats water very quickly. My only point of criticism is that if you overfill it, it will spit boiling water. However, that is a user error. I have just bought the same model for my mother.

Sweet easy to use, very stable on your work surface.
Sweet easy to use, very stable on your work surface, easy fill up and pouring excellent…best electric kettle we have ever bought, well insulated to the touch on temperature
Efficient kettle
Bought to replace an identical model which had started to leak from the base after 6 years. Same reliable performance, and the electronic beep volume much reduced on this one, which is very welcome !
Safe for your loved ones to be nea
My husband blacked out & his hand was on our old kettle & he got very nasty, deep burns/scalds. I ordered this kettle (with double walls that stay warm – not hot) so the same thing can’t happen again. Beautiful design, heats up quickly & pings when at the right temperature. Peace of mind – I hope. I will never buy another single wall kettle again.
Amazing
We had one in a holiday rental so pleased with it I ordered one the minute I got home
Very controllable but not particularly quie
This is the second version of the same kettle we have bought. The base electronics failed after 5 years although the actual kettle was still fine. It has a largecapacity (3 litres), boils quickly, can be set to boil at 70, 80, 90 or 100 degrees for any speciality teas or coffees but is no quieter than the old model and still has an annoying beep to signal start and stop which cannot be turned off.

Love it!
I love this kettle. It’s the best on the market. The different temperature settings are really handy for tea and coffee drinkers and the design is sleek and contemporary. Buy it!
Bish bash bosch
It’s a good robust kettle does everything I need it to do .the keeping water warm feature is brilliant Its great highly recommended it .
A good kettle
My previous Bosch kettle lasted about 9 years before starting to leak. This is essentially the same, with a reasonable window to show the water level, and easy to use controls to set whether you want a full boil for tea or a lower temperature for coffee etc. The ‘bleep’ on switching on and reaching temperature is very audible. The lid (which on a previous model had had a weak spring) pops up smartly and opens further if you want to examine the amount of scale build-up. It heats up rapidly, and my home “smart” meter indicates that it uses quite a bit of power for the short time it is on to achieve this.

Great kettle
Simple to use. I like the big lid for refilling. I even like to beep when it’s reach the temperature you want.
Best electric kettle eve
OK it’s not a cheap kettle but have to say worth every penny, this is my second one of these, the first lasted just over 3 years , and where I live the water is as hard as a diamond , if you want a high end electric kettle I don’t think you can beat this produc
Great buy
We had an earlier model which after some time went wrong. To replace it we purchased a different make which was cheaper. What a mistake it was slower to boil and beeped at every turn. This one is worth every penny quick to boil and very quiet.good looking and worth every penny.
Proper Kettle
Fast boiling, also keep the water warm if required. Looks really good. I would definitely say it was bigger than a normal kettle
It's a classy boile
When you get used to having a kettle that boils quickly and quietly, and then decide to buy a cheap and cheerful one to replace it that fulfils neither of those criteria, you really notice the difference. I did a similar thing because my old Kenwood Kmix one was starting to look decidedly scabby – while wandering along the aisles in a certain German discount supermarket chain I grabbed one of their cheap ones which looked lovely, but as soon as I put it on to make a cuppa with it for the first time, I realised that I’d made a bit of a faux-pas; it was horribly noisy and took an absolute age to boil.
It was with some regret that I admitted my mistake and took to the internet to look for something worthy to replace the old Kenwood kettle. I hummed and hawed my way through a fair amount of kettles, but decided to settle on this Bosch one.
>>>BIG BOILER
When it arrived, I’ve got to say that I was surprised at the size of it; it seems to be somewhat larger than most kettles, most likely due to its ‘cool wall’ ability, but only by a small amount so you don’t need to discount it if you don’t have the counter space – my kitchen is TINY and it’s not a problem.
>>>IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BASE
Unlike the vast majority of kettles, the on/off switch for this kettle is on the base rather than the kettle itself, which is kinda funky.
>>>SOME LIKE IT HOT
…And some prefer their beverages to be slightly cooler – and this kettle’s party-trick is its ability for you to set a temperature from 70 to 100c, which is actually quite cool if you want a quick drink without having to blow on it to cool it down.
>>>…BUT ALSO COOL!
A cool feature of this kettle is that it stays cool on the outside even when the water inside it is scalding hot. I don’t know how it works, but its effective and handy.
>>>IT’S SUPER FAST!!
This kettle boils things so quickly – like, really, really quickly – to the point that it often boils before I’ve cleaned my cafetierre to make my coffee. It’s particularly noticeable when you set the temperature to something lower than 100c or put a small amount of water in it, but suffice to say that you never need to wait long for this beastie to come to the boil.
>>>SUMMING UP
This is the flippin’ rolls-royce of kettles. It’s German, it boils quicker than Schumacher, it looks awesome AND you can choose how hot it boils the water. What more could you want?
Good looking and efficie
This kettle replaces the previous model which lasted for 8 years with no problems. This model is well balanced and pours better than the previous one. The level indicator is a bit awkward to read when filling like the previous one but it works for right and left handed people and you don’t fill a kettle with exact amounts. We use the temperature settings more than we we thought we would which is why we looked for kettles with this feature when we needed a new one. The price is ok for what you are getting and it looks good also.

Excellent kettle.
This is a replacement for an identical one, about 12 years old. Can’t fault it. Easy and quick to use, v useful to have the keep warm feature. Don’t use the different temperatures very often but a useful feature to have. Definitely recommend these.
Best buy
The kettle is super cool, and design is just beautiful.
The noise level is really low compared to my previous kettle and it does heat up quicker.
Excelle
Absolutely love this kettle. We have had to replace our older model after six years and wouldn’t have had anything other than Bosch.
Yes
When water is hot for my coffee I like it. I’m sure with a tweak this contraption could fly to space.
Sturdy and easy to use, and fill
The best ye
Catching up with reviews from a while ago. Which is good, because I can now report that this is the longest lasting kettle we have ever owned. it shows no sign of slowing down either. I think this item is a good example of you get what you pay for. Would recommend.
Bosch Kettle
Good looking kettle which appears to be well designed, as a filter coffee lover, the adjustable temperature control is great.
Don’t think I would ever use the ‘keep warm’ function and don’t see the point of it, but won’t stop me giving this 5 stars.
Simon.
Fantastic
This kettle is bar far the best we have purchased. It’s great to be able to lift it and use the lower temperature for my coffee then back to boil for everyone else’s tea. Smart sleek looking kettlehighly recommended.
Chunkier than other kettles but still great!
Does what it is supposed to, I like to drink coffee at 70*, but the missus likes boiling hot tea.
You can set temperature to 70* 80* 90* and 100*
As the kettle boils, if you left on 100* the light indicators light up as kettle gets to temperature, so the 100* flashes (target temperature)
Then the 70* light lights to show it has reached 70* then 80* light, then 90* light, then 100* followed by a low audible beep to confirm its boiled.
If you select a different temp, e.g 80*, then the 80* light will flash, and the 70* light will light up when 70* reached, then 80* light illuminated, then confirmation beep.
Each time you boil the kettle it defaults to 100* so you have to press button to select temp, or lift kettle off of base when desired temp light is illuminated.
Not a problem for me, but might be a problem for others.
Kettle is noticeably chunky to hold, and slightly heavier than my old Russel Hobbs kettle, again not a problem for me, but might be useful information.
All of the buttons are on the base, including the on/off button.
To fill kettle you press round button in centre of lid and lid popps up.

Great design, better than my former model
I had another of these before breaking it due to clumsiness a couple of weeks ago. That design had the temperature guage attached to the jug itself, it was not on the base, which was just a circular disk.
This design is just as easy to use and seems the same jug quality. I prefer the temperature settings to be on the squarer base. The overall aesthetic is so much better.
Efficie
This is the second kettle of this type we have purchased. Like that you can heat it to certain temperatures and it keeps the water at that temp. Most efficient!
Brilliant kettle
I’ve never paid so much for a kettle, but decided to go for this top end product from Bosch. On reflection it’s worth every penny. Beautifully manufactured and works a dream.

Perfect for herbal tea, coffee and boiling.
I bought this for the variable levels that the kettle heats water to. Perfect for those drinks where 100c is too much. It’s quieter than my last kettle too and this is a bonus.
A neat appliance on worktop.
Very neat in appearance. Temperature control works well. Lid stuck once but it has cut out safety feature if overheats with little water. Released later by pressing lid switch and inserting finger inside spout. The water flows exuberantly into cup. It has enthusiasm.
Bosch Kettle (TWK8633GB)
Very pleased with this kettle, as you can keep it warm at various temperatures for some time. I would recommend it and would buy it agai
Longevity
We got one of these when the originally came out and we had it for 8 or 9 years so when it finally started to leak we thought it was a no brainer to replace like with like .
Just the best kettle ...
i had to buy this kettle, because my previous one was acting up .. but it was 12 years old…
This is a very fine kettle, treat it with respect and it will last.. well, 12 years at least. In fact the old one does still work; but became a little temperamental on occasion.
Superb!
Decided to give the kitchen a new look with new tiles and lighting, save the cost of a new kitchen. As part of this I wanted some nice looking new small appliances, and I bought this simply because it looked nice and I like my gadgets. Performance really is superb. It is quiet, it holds the heat really well and for some reason it’s very satisfying pressing a button on the base instead of pushing down a lever! Surprisingly the features are really useful. The 70, 80, 90 and 100 degree lights show progress as it boils, and being able to heat to a lower temperature is great not only for herbal teas but also for topping up an espresso to make a black coffee. Selecting the temperature is incredibly simple, it defaults to 100 every time so just press the down button after you’ve started it if you want a lower temperature.

Same great kettle but lighte
Lighter than previous model as controls in the base. Otherwise, the same great features. Fast, perfect companion to my aeropress as has 80C option. Recommended.
Fast boil is bound to be noise so not marked down.
I Am In Love……..❤️
..with this kettle. Ridiculous I know, I need to get out more. It took me a while to choose but I loved the look of this one, however, I also had to take into account the opinions of the reviewers, who, in the main gave it a good rating. Sleek, glossy black and silver and sits on a square base – well that’s a novelty in itself. Controls which give 90% hot water for my coffee – tastes far better and no having to wait around for it to go off the boil. Some people have said about the noise it makes when heating up but to be fair it isn’t on long enough to bother me. It pours beautifully by the way and so easy to open – large button at the top to press which would suit people who suffer with arthritic hands. If things change, you know, should I fall out of love with this kettle, I know I can be fickle at times, I’ll be back to let you know. In the meantime, I highly recommend.
The Only Kettle
I had one of these in a hotel room I was staying in and, after a couple of days using it I just had to get one for home.
It is a very attractive looking appliance, sleek and bright, and really displays well. It is also nice and sturdy – feels like a quality, well made item and, of course, it has ‘features’. It is quick to boil, you can select from pre-set temperatures and it has a reheat / keep hot facility.
I love it and urge you to treat yourself and buy one.

Works well and feels decent.
Looks nice. Goes well with a Nespresso and green tiles. . Decent temperature control but would be nicer if they were in 5c increments. Beep is a bit noisy. Boils quick. Doesn’t spill when pouring. Here’s hoping it lasts 2 years.
Stylish and efficie
I had the previous model of this kettle so when it started to leak I was pleased to find the latest model. The controls are on the base unit which is square making it a very stylish looking kettle.
It just works
I bought this to replace a water dispenser that was a bad mistake. To my surprise, I found that it was every bit as fast! The cup indicator and keep warm function are good eco additions, as is the fact that it can heat water to lower temperatures (great for things like instant hot chocolate). It is intuitive and simple to use. It is just one of those household items that you don’t think about because it just lets you get on with your life unhindered.
Great kettle best I’ve had
Didn’t need a new kettle I had this same one in white but wanted change of colour. I love this kettle and like the fact you can choose the temperature and that my other one never let me down still working great after having it for years so I’m very happy with my new one.
Bosch Kettle
We purchased the Black Bosch Kettle (right) back in 2005. After 16 years of great performance, the kettle has developed a small leak. Still works but decided time to replace.
We love this Bosch kettle and have looked around at other makes. Decided on the same product again. Went for the White version this time. Delighted with the purchase and would recommend.
