Had to send the first one back as it dripped. The replacement was sent by return of post. Replacement does not drip. BTW these taps are only very easy to fit if you are replacing an existing easy fit tap. As you can leave the under the sink part of it in place and just change the actual tap.

It is genuinely the easiest tap I have ever installed
I had assumed there would be a compromise in quality to trade off the easy fit element but this is not the case as if anything it is better quality than the ‘high end’ tap I was replacing. Highly recommended.

Easy to fit tap Bristan tap
Old tap started to leak, so replaced it with like for like, it was very easy to install. But best of all when you turn the tap off, there is no after drip unlike the previous model.

A plastic reinforcement piece is provided for use with typically thin stainless steel sinks.(mentioned in the instructions but not shown in the drawings) Fitting that makes the installation MUCH more difficult but it is definitely needed in other than tiled or other solid benchtops. Sadly the very ingenious design of the tap enabling installation from above counts for nothing as the included reinforcement piece needs to be held from below while tightening the assembly. I ended up taping the reinforcement to the lower clamp part to temporarily hold it in place- alternatively you would need two people (or EXTREMELY long arms!)

We saw this tap first in a local builder’s merchants however they wanted much more than we bought it for on Amazon — It was delivered quickly and before the time stated on our order – on opening the box we discovered there was no fitting instruction – I rang Bristan’s Help Line number and got a recorded message to say it had been changed — Finally after getting another number I got to speak to a very helpful lady who gave me a case number and sent me an email with a pdf file of the instructions — Installation was not quite as easy as I was hoping, but this was down to our ‘Carron Phoenik’ sink, the hole was too small so the Push Fit Connector would not just slip in from the top, so rather than enlarging it I took the connector apart, then with my wife holding the top in place I offered the bottom up to the top from under the sink where she was able to turn the Allan key until it was firmly in place — connecting the flexible connectors to the Push-Fit connector was so easy and required little effort and again connecting the flexibles to the house pipework was straight forward although I did put some ptfe tape round the threads before tightening them up — I applied a little grease to the tap connectors (supplied) and making sure the securing screws lined up with the rebates on the Push Fit Connector pushed the tap body firmly in place – then finally screwing the two securing Alan screws fully home — This ‘Bristan Easy-Fit Echo Tap’ was much easier to fit then the old one it replaced .
Sadly, we then discovered our mixer arm was bent! – something we had not noticed until this point — I emailed Bristan and attached an image of the damaged arm but after two days of not getting a reply I was getting concerned so I rang Amazon and explained the problem again to a very helpful lady, there was no further questions asked, the lady told me we would have a replacement within two days — Thankfully all we had to do was change over the mixer arm and return the damaged one.

Just the tap I was looking for, easy to get my kettle underneath and easy to use handles. My plumber had to use guidelines to fit it but when I need a replacement tap easy, as long as I choose Bristan easy fit.

This is a good quality tap but not cheap, you get what you pay for here. It was easy to install and uses Bristan’s quick fix system so when you have to replace it you don’t need to re-plumb it.

This tap is great quality and as it’s easy to fit a must buy for anyone. Other reviews say it drips for a while after you use it but mine does not drip at all . I replaced my old tap as it was causing all my pipe to bang and rattle. After replacing with this one the problem and noise from the pipes vanished .

Easy to install good for the money.
I purchased this to replace my current easy fit tap unfortunately the bottom plinth was bigger than my existing one so I was enable to swap this over. I wouldn’t have been happy to pay more than 50 for this. The existing bristan tap I have is much better quality.

Easy fit DIY tap
Easy fit to existing flexi pie fittings, only downside is it doesn’t have a non return valve so you get a slight water leak from the spout after you turn the tap off .
Smart looking and works well(up until now)
Smart elegant looking tap, no problems encountered when fitting and straight forward to fit, it operates smoothly and precisely, gives a good controlled flow of water and shuts of the supply immediately you close it of with no after flow as others have mentioned, pleased with this item.

Easier to install but you still have to tighten the securing nut from below! Spanner tight on flexible pipes – tap end, then hand tight only on the water pipe feed ends.

I replaced our kitchen mixer tap with this Bristan model. After reading the fitting instructions a couple of times before starting I found it quite easy to install. My wife had to hold the base of the new tap while I connected the fitting under the sink. No problems and I think any do it yourself person could fit this tap. Very pleased with the product.

Great taps/value
My old one was plumbed in with copper pipe but if you have valves to flexi then I coundnt imagine how easy this tap is to fit !! You get new flexi with valves in kit !! Amazing value for what you get and bristan !! Never buy cheap taps !! These are great 🙂

I didn’t install the tap, my plumber did & I did need to assist him at one point as having his head under the sink & not having Mr Tiggle arms he needed help. But that said it looks good & doesn’t trip either. This is the 3rd Bristan set of taps I’ve had installed as you get what you pay for.

Bristan Echo Sink Tap
Bought this Bristan Echo Sink Tap which is well built and looks smart very pleased.
The only downside is the over run when turned off but taking a hint from a previous reviewer I cut a disc from the mesh of a s/steel tea strainer and fitted under the washer in the end of the cap at the tap outlet. Bingo the tap no longer over runs.

I needed a tap that worked well with unbalanced feeds (my hot water feed is low pressure and my cold feed is high mains pressure). If you are fitting the tap yourself, the easyfit system makes the job a lot easier.
I do have the ‘running on’ problem that many others have, hence 4 stars, otherwise it would be a 5 star product.

Good quality mixer easy to fit and a pleasure to use with a nice smooth lever action a few drips when turned off as it clears excess water from the neck but otherwise I love it.
The number of parts included in the box is off putting, quite complex to fit but it all went together well. Not sure the plug & socket is totally worth the bother. To those complaining about water issuing from the spout after you turn the tap off, this is caused by siphoning. You can cure this by fitting an aerating nozzle, this gives you bubbly water and stops the siphoning.

You don’t realise how much you use a kitchen tap until it goes wrong and you need to replace it! This replacement is very well manufactured with a 5 year limited warranty and is relatively easy to install. Great value for money.

Perfect replaceme
Replaced an expensive tap which only lasted a few years. This tap fitted by our plumber with no problem. Water did drip at first after turning off when fitted and then stopped a few days after. Now works perfectly. We are very pleased with it.

Item arrived quickly, but have only just managed to get a plumber to fit it. I love the tap. Flows slower than my last tap, but not a problem.
A Lovely Swan Neck Tap. Never had a swan neck tap before so done lots of research. We noticed some reviewers refer to the dribbles after you turn off the tap, but this applies to ALL swan neck taps, it’s due to the design of the long spout, so if any have given one star due to this should have done a bit more research before buying.
The easy fit system is different! When my husband fitted it he found it very unusual, but because we have very little room under our kitchen sink it proved to be a very handy way of fitting. I read one reviewer who said there was only one grub screw holding the tap in position on top that isn’t true, there are two screws one each side of the tap base which needs a tiny allan key to fit
(and we would not expect Bristan to suppy this to fit them!)
The tap tails which come up through the sink hole, hot is the plain pipe and cold is the screw threaded pipe are in the right positions, if the pipework for your mixer tap is plumbed in correctly your hot should be on your left and cold on your right, so if anyone says differently they are incorrect or their plumbing is wrong.
All in all we love this tap. The water comes out fast when opened up full and there is NO splashing with the high pressure cold. The gravity fed hot side comes out very well at about 6 litres per minute. It looks Lovely and isn’t overly large as some are, it does wobble slightly on our metal sink but no more than our old tap did, we do not have a tap support underneath so this is probably why. I do sometimes knock the tap but I will get use to it being bigger than the old one.
The box is very protective of the tap when sent through the post and there was no damage at all, and it also came with flexible hoses which also have water isolation valves and non return valves in the end of the hoses – FANTASTIC!

We bought this tap to fit with a ceramic sink in a new kitchen. It was easy to fit, doesn’t wobble in any way (as indeed it should if fitted properly !) and looks really stylish. We bought a tap brace as well, thinking this would give the tap extra stability but have now returned it as the kitchen fitter said that it was not needed in any way with a ceramic sink.
I’m amazed at how smooth the action is to turn on the taps – far smoother than our previous mixer tap. All round, an excellent buy.

Certainly not cheap, by any stretch of the imagination, but then few things get used so much as a kitchen tap and this is a quality one — brass instead of alloy. Seems to fix very securely and action of the taps is very smooth indeed. Now let’s see how it lasts!

This turned out to be an excellent buy. It is in the middle to top of the cost range, but turned out to be worth it. The packaging could have been better, as there was damage to the outer cover due to the packed item (the tap and display box) being able to move around inside. We employed a local plumbing firm that we have used before to fit the Monobloc Sink Mixer, it had been they who had recommended buying a Bristan Tap (we had being having consist problems with out previous kitchen fitting). The plumber / fitter, installed the tap without any apparent trouble, and we have being using it for about a month at the time of writing this review. At first it was about getting use to the size of the tap as it is so much larger than our previous fitting. This actual turned out to be a bonus as now with the Echo’s taller tower / spout, we can get kitchen ware that we need to fill under it very easily. I see no reason not to recommend this Bristan Echo Tap with our use of it so far.

Purchased to replace a cheaper dripping mixer – thoroughly approved by my plumber who fitted it in 20 minutes. It fits any kitchen decor and works much better than all others we’ve had before.
