his watch is awesome had it for over 3 years now and it still looks and works like its brand new I wear it everyday no matter what I’m doing I use it for everything I time and set timed alarms cause there’s 4 alarms! When I swim I have also put it threw its paces having worn it during many exercises with my detachment having it been smashed against the ground drenched in mud through ocean and other extreme weathers It has always kept up to standard could recommend this watch enough its a incredible buy for the price!

Great watch, poor backlight.
Nice watch, handy feature if you do a lot of travelling is a quick and easy change of the main hands to different time zones (press 2 buttons). The thing that lets it down as others mention is the light, it is really poor, the position tends to cast shadows across the face, you can just about make out the main hands but not the back displays. If this were better it would be 5 stars.

Best watch I have ever owned. Looks very sleek in stealth matte black and the features are great. Has a big bulky face but feels very light and comfortable to wear for its size. Great choice for a everyday watch.
Bought this watch for work as being a lift engineer, high voltage and metal strap watches don’t mix.
Very chunky and stylish, if you thought about buying it and then saw it on someone else’s wrist you’d be willing to pay double the price !
LOADS of functions and a very smart time zone function that allows you to set it to your time zone and it adjusts accordingly !
The ONLY 2 problems I could possibly complain about is that the digital display isn’t as bright as in the photo and also doesn’t light up when you push the LED button. Not major issues as in normal light you can still easily see the digital display and at night you can still see the hands using the LED to tell the time. By no means a reason not to buy this watch.
I paid 65 as luckily I came across it while it was on offer, but I would have happily paid the full 110 !!

Had this watch nearly a year and I’m just writing a review. It’s a great watch and worth it’s money. I used it on a job in all weather types and it still works and it’s really easy to get used to.
It’s a Big watch and looks really nice. It’s really Easy to set up the time. At first it felt a little uncomfortable on but you get used to it fast overall I’m really happy with this purchase.

Fantastic watch. The all black matt resin finish looks very smart. Happy with the functions and the LCD layout. From GShock’s “mission black” range, it definitely looks stealthy and military like. Was initially worried about the visibility of the negative LCD as others had said it was hard to read, however i think the numbers look sharp and clear. The light is better than i thought , it bounces around the watch face from the bottom, illuminating the hands quite nicely in the dark. However, as it is not backlit , the LCD information is basically illegible in the dark. This is the watch’s only downfall. Still, a fantastic , tough, high quality stylish watch and at a great price! Highly recommended.

Awesome watch. Looks good at work in the office (worn with a black Polo) or at the weekend with a something a little more casual. Really robust too. Ive dropped it and bashed it lot of times and no visable damage. Also stood up to being submerged in Sea water (dont ask, long story).

Its large and the hour hand is a little too short and the wrong colour to be seen easily. Yes the light is useless! But this is a very nice design that sits well on the wrist. You still need the digital time display to be absolutely sure of the time, at a glance it is easy to misread. At the right viewing angle it is a breeze to read.

Read all the reviews about the face being difficult to see and the light not being strong enough but all these are piffle, it’s a great watch but when it comes to the ALARM. Maybe if you have it gaffer taped to your ear you MAYBE able to hear it. Come on Casio i’ve heard louder calculators. If you’re wondering whether to buy this watch or not stop wondering and buy it you wont be disappointed. i love mine.

Good watch, got it for a good price too. Looks nice, but the light doesn’t illuminate the hands or digital display enough to read it, I have rated it 4 stars but only for looks and ruggedness, I have other g shocks and edifaces, just wish they would sort out the illumination!

Had owned a G Shock several years ago, and tired of scratching and damaging watches I was wearing decided to return to G Shock. This is an excellent watch. Well made and durable with all functions you’d expect and need. I wear this to the gym and office and it hasn’t got a mark on it despite heavy use. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good all rounder watch.

Good and sturdy and bought at the right price. Light on it is a bit weak but other than that it’s a good watch. It’s stood up to some rough and tumble play with my six year old who has trampled on it and dropped it down the stairs!!!
If you have small wrists think carefully though as the face is large but for me that’s what I like about it.

A very sturdy and reliable watch (although I have only had it a day so this may change), it was easier to set it up than I originally thought it would be and seems to be working well so far.
Only slight issue I have had with it is the light; people have said in other reviews that this is a problem. You are able to read the time with the light but you have to squint.
But overall a good, rugged watch.

Really good looking watch, arrived set up but on trying to familiarise myself with functions messed it up, and it took me a while to get it right again, but once I did I was more than satisfied with my purchase, if it works as good as it looks it’s great value for money. My other watches are a Panerai and an Omega Seamaster, the G shock doesn’t look out of place in my collection.

Casio G shock gents watch
This is a typical Casio watch. Very rugged and durable being very reliable and robust. It is also quite complicated with numerous functions which I am still getting used to using. The numerical display is a bit too dark in my opinion and should have been a bit clearer to read especially in daylight conditions although there is a backlight but still an excellent watch, good looking and excellent value for money.

Good watch, was delivered quick. I did have a issue with the original purchase which I contacted amazon over and they replaced it within a few days. Replacement is still going strong and worth it.
My first G-Shock.
Been looking at one of these for a while. Great watch. Thought it might be a bit big and cumbersome to wear ……… couldn’t have been more wrong, don’t know you’ve got it on.
Only criticism, I would have liked a brighter light, do not find it that easy to read after dark.
Sturdy and practical
Yes the hour hand is hard to read at night but its a small price to pay for a very well made watch that does everything you need a watch to do. Wore it the whole time I was in Sharm el sheikh snorkling on the beach etc and it seems bullet proof.
Tough as it gets
Best watch, tough as it gets, i’ve got only one scratch on it, and I don’t really look after it. That scratch is very faint and came from a brick being dropped on it.

Fashion Statement.
It’s all about the design, it’s large, reasonable lightweight, great to look at. But, it’s not an easy watch for actually telling the time, specially at night. It’s a fashion statement and that’s the main reason for buying it and it also feels very rugged.

This watch does not look as large as you would think on the wrist. It’s actually quite subtle.
I wanted a watch that I could use every day without worrying if it took the odd knock or scratch. This still looks like I’ve only just opened the box (tin). Feels comfortable, looks great and is as tough as advertised. Great watch, I’m sure I’ll be buying more G-Shocks.

it’s a very good watch, it looks big, but literally it’s weightless. and setting up the watch is really easy, if you can’t read the manual properly, go the casio’s website and download it in the bigger version and that is pretty handy. i would defintly recommend it.

Although it is not atomic or tough solar as some other Casio watches, it is a sturdy timepiece and I really like the double slots on the strap as it holds the watch down pretty well even if worn loose on the wrist.

The back light is, as it says in the reviews by X4CTO on Youtube, the only apparent drawback as it does not light up the digital time but then again, it lights up the analogue time, the hands of the watch quite well and that’s what matters; also, the yellow back light is quite in sync with the cockpit control panel look of the watch face.
And it looks really good on the wrist (even on relatively thin wrists), very sporty n suave looks, keeping it discreet and eye-catching at the same time. Five stars to this watch.

Was looking to upgrade but still have G SHOCK model. I generally wanted the GX56 A 1 (Black) , but they’re difficult to find so I was happy with the GA – 100 series.
The only negative thing is getting to understand the functions, even when looking through the instructions.

I give these watch 5 stars. Some of the comments on other casio G-Shock watched made me think. So I took the risk and bought this one. I was really happy when I opened the box and tin, everything was there. A manual and of course the watch. Very very easy to setup without using the manual. Great features like having the day, world clock and all the other features. I give this product 5 stars for the postage, description and also the price!
