Not much to be said .. is an Dewalt tool and if have one you want them all your tools from Dewalt.
I buyed in the last couple of years more and more tools from Dewalt on battery and none of them has disappointing me so far.
This impact wrench i buyed specially for changing the wheels of my family and frinds cars as we need to do it 2 times per year, before snow and after the snow, i buyed because is Dewalt and saw it at my local tyres service where i normal change the rims and they use this every day 8 hours changing the wheels of many and many cars from like 4 years and is working perfectly after all that use daily, so how not to trust the professional wrench made by Dewalt?
In plus buying from Amazon has major benefits from supporting theirs customers in any problem with the products.

I’ve been using it for over a year now(car stuff) and it has never failed me. I have even managed to remove lug nuts from a truck(I would definitely not recommend this tool if that’s your use case).
But beware, it’s size and weight matches it’s power.

Bought for removing wheels on delivery vans due to going through a lot of tyres and brakes. Undone the wheel nuts with ease and on the medium setting tightened the nuts to a suitable NM before torque setting

Das Teil hat echt Gewicht was auch schon der Grund ist das ich da einen Stern abziehe. Privat fr ein Paar Rder zum wechseln passt das aber wenn ich den ganzen Tag damit hantieren msste gibts am Abend lange Arme 🙂 Ansonsten hat der schon Power wenn gleich das mit einem Luftdruck Schrauber nicht ganz mithalten kann. Angegammelte Schrauben packt der nicht so gut wie der aus der Werkstatt. Dann braucht der auch viel Strom aber es ist halt ein Elektro Schlagschrauber und unter denen ist das Teil sicher ein echt guter. Fr mich privat wrde ich den wieder kaufen das passt gut auch was die Preis Leistung angeht.

I have several power tools from Dewalt and this one is up there with the best of them. Extremely well made and very powerful. This definitely helped me get some maintenance work done on the car which would otherwise have been impossible. The unit is larger than I had expected (considerably larger and heavier than my Dewalt impact driver) – but I was still able to access some difficult to reach bracket bolts on my front brakes.
I bought this without a battery since I have several Dewalt batteries already. Battery consumption however seems absolutely fine – nothing to criticise.

Best impact gun I've used
This is one of the most used and useful tools in my tool chest. I use it multiple times a day everyday. I bought this gun as a bare unit (hens the 0 start on battery life). It work extremely well on my 1.5ah and 5ah batteries, but would recommend the bigger battery for better battery life.

Very good tool both for doing up and undoing hard to shift nuts and bolts. It is quite heavy so be aware of that but it needs to be solid to work well. Typical Dewalt high quality

I Work in a garage & use every day. Haven’t found anything yet that it hasn’t undone. The forward & reverse switch is a bit stiff but still works fine. The gun itself is a bit nose heavy. Well pleased with it.

Been sat in my toolbox for a serval months but got the job done when I needed it today very good bit of kit worth the money if I the dewalt ecosystem probably a bit heavy duty for every jobs
Good for the job
This is a great bit of kit however the batteries don’t last too long as to why I would recommend 2 battery’s. It’s not the lightest either for long use however will pretty much rattle off any nut with high torque.
Impressive impac
I am a mobile mechanic and I frequently work out in the rain being in Ireland and this impact has stood up to the test of time, I bought it four years ago and it’s still going strong although sometimes now the batteries fall out during use and the batteries themselves have split open and the casings have cracked but I can still go two or three days without charging it up and it’s fine!
All in all a very good and powerful impac

They are really powerful and will shift just about any nut or bolt you choose, the DeWalt is the same as the Mac Tools version without the silly pricetag and hence can use the Mac Tools battery boot and body cover too.
The gun is well made and capable of standing up to heavy commercial use with minimum maintenance needed.
Spare parts are readily available so you should see years of service for your investment.
Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about buying.
I certianly wouldnt waste your money on some of the other brands which are hyped up by people with more cash then sense when you can own one of these at this fantastic price.

Amazing torque, when mechanics put car wheels on with an air gun they massively over torque the nuts, this gets them off effortlessly. Very impressive performance. A must for a DIY mechanic or professional.

But it hasn’t yet let me down removing anything even bolts or nuts that have never ever been taken off since manufacture of a car or van. I used it to remove break callipers and bottom suspension boots on my transit van. I did try to loosen them by hand at first but even with a 36″ bar and pushing down with my entire weight I couldn’t break them loose. Two or three thuds from this driver and off they came.
Have since bought a impact driver extension and a universal joint to go with the many impact sockets I have already.
As others have said it will work with a 3 ah battery but does struggle when compared side by side. The 5ah battery does seem to give a better initial break loose then the smaller batteries.
Charge wise I done a load of bolts and nuts with the bigger battery and it still showed two charge lights on the battery.
All in all I’m well impressed!!!

I’ve avoid these for a while, but finally purchased one and it’s ace. High torque means it’s able to undo almost everything I ask, which given I work on land rovers is a lot! Best tool I’ve purchased for some time 😉

Powerful, big and heavy
Great price, very powerful and reliable, the original dewalt batteries last a long time with it, however it’s very big and for anything other than taking wheels off can be tough to use. Good to have for tough to crack nuts, handy to have a smaller gun as well though.

Within 5 minutes of delivery the stubborn bolts were out. The tool just made such light work of the job. Expensive for just two bolts, but I know I’ll find other uses for it.
Note, I used a 5Ah battery. The higher Ah batteries aren’t just about run time. They also have the ability to deliver higher peak currents (and therefore torque) than the the lower rated versions.

All of my new work colleagues already owned one of these and they have proved there worth to them speeding up the job and preventing repetitive strain injuries that with out this tool would certainly of occurred. The Dewalt tool is robust and powerful. It has made my work easier and quicker , I highly recommend this tool to any pone working on vehicles or machinery. NB the tool also has a variable setting so if using for re assembly of a workpiece the tool. Torque can be set on be set 1 ,2 or 3 . 3 being high torque.

I bought this to upgrade my air impact and it was worth the wait effortless to remove wheels really pleased.
It is very powerful, and very heavy, on first test I managed to strip an M12 nut on an M12 bolt secured in the vice but the the gun was set to level 3, yes I could see future problems with breaking bolts with this torque gun if not careful, do not buy this torque gun if you only intend to remove car wheel bolts as this gun is way beyond what you need for that.

Pour le serrage, en meca auto c’est overskill, prudence, juste pour un serrage d’approche et en prenant garde d’etre bien dans le filet, car elle est capable de visser de travers sans que vous le sentiez…
On fini comme il faut a la cl dynamo, avec le temps gagn au dmontage on est pas press!
Cot solidit, c’est pas leger, mais a respire la robustesse.

Avevo gi utilizzato diversi avviatori brushless della DeWalt con ottimi risultati e avevo la necessit di un avvitatore ad impulsi per avvitature pi “strong”, sono voluto rimanere in famiglia anche perch avevo gi due batterie da 18V: una garanzia!!!

This is a heavy duty wrench with enormous torque. It is a cracking tool, very well made from quality metal and plastics and though heavy it inspires confidence: nothing has defeated it yet. Very impressed at the performance and usability of the tool and if you have other DeWalt tools, charger and batteries then it is an ideal addition to your tool box. Highly recommended.
