Lovely looking kettle
Bit noisier than the classic but not annoyingly so. Better opening and closing than the classic. Very happy with it!

Looks good does the job
Had a lot of kettles over the years which lasted probably a few months only. This one is sturdy and does look good. Had it a few months now and it’s still works the same as the day we bought it. Is a bit expensive but you do get what you pay for.

stylish and lightweigh
Bought this to replace a not very old kettle which was past its best. Had a Dualit several years ago and it always looked good, so opted for this one. Was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but our existing kettle was so terrible I decided to splurge. Good quiet boil, excellent pour and looks very stylish. You can get new panels for the bottom trim, which are available in different colours. I can’t see me doing this, but it’s a good option. Very happy with my choice.

Matches the toaste
Out of the box and plugged in after a first full boil (to get it right) works very well. It’s a noisy beast but not as bad as our previous kettle.
Wifes favourite kettle
The kettle is a little noisy and probably seems expensive but the last one we had lasted six years and was was still looking as good as new until a family member dropped it and put a slight dent in it, thats the only reason we bought a new one.

Really smart look, easy to fill, bit noisy when boiling water but looks great matching my dualit 4 slice toaster in the same range. I didn’t opt for adding colour stripes to them. I think that would spoil the look. Bit pricey but worth it for the look.

Nice kettle, I wanted something sleek and modern, and it’s not too noisy at all. Had to send the first one back as there were a few scratches on the top but the second one came pretty quick and is in good condition.

Love Dualit. Their architect range is just the right amount of sleek and modern, while still keeping the Dualit charm. The pouring spout is very effective. The canvas white kettle looks great next to the matching toaster. The noise level isn’t bad – some reviews do mention it’s very loud but personally I don’t think it’s any different to any other kettle I’ve used. Boils nice and fast too!

This is second Dualit kettle we have had. First developed electrical fault which kept tripping RCD. Slightly disappointed with this but it was around 3 years old. Didn’t stop me purchasing like for like replacement because we love the desig

Handsome kettle but it has one downside, the outer skin gets red hot once boiled!!! If you catch the outside you will remember this so keep your hands and any children safely away. I’m used to double skin kettles that never feel hot on the outside and for the money, four times a normal kettle, it should be twin skinned. That said it looks fantastic and sat aside the same set toaster is a real eye-catcher!

Worth the extra cost - the best kettle I have used
This is a superb kettle. When you realise how much you use a kettle it is worth investing and this kettle is the one worth investing in. It not only looks great, with its Bauhaus design but it is a pleasure to use. It is quiet – the noise more of a comforting “shhush” compared to my previous, industrial steam engine kettles. Worth every penny. It is robust, easy to clean and maintain and the spout is superb. Well done Dualit!

Sturdy kettle well made and has a big capacity, perfect for making lots of brews.
I have some fairly strict practical criteria for the selection of a kettle:
– It must pour without splashing boiling water everywhere.
– It must be able to be refilled without having to touch a hot surface.
– You should be able to boil one cup of water easily.
– It must not be too heavy when full. I’m a 6’2″ strong-ish bloke but some kettles, particularly the metal ones, are ridiculously heavy and hard to handle when full; this is a safety hazard.
– It should not take too long to boil (this is subjective, I know).
This ticks all of these boxes – you can easily handle the kettle, even when full, with just one hand and the first ridge inside the kettle marks one cup-worth of water.
There are some really strange comments in this thread relating to noise (all that I hear is the soft bubbling of water and then the ‘click’ of the kettle turning off) and the steam exit (all kettles have to release steam *somewhere* and you have to be mindful of this). I really don’t understand why these lead to one-start reviews.
This is my second Architect kettle: the first lasted ten years and I have no qualms about buying another: it is a household workhorse, particularly during lockdown! 😉

Quality
A great quality kettle that is relatively quiet and a is a safe pourer. The only downside is if you have a problem with your hands/wrists then you may find it a little heavy. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this kettle as it is great quality product.
Very stylish, British-made kettle
We bought this at the same time as the matching toaster. They look even better in person than they do in pictures. Very nice styling, high quality and good performance. We are only 1 week in – but so far, so good. Pours very nicely with no dribbles. Is reasonably quick. A little bit loud (sounds like a fighter jet) but we can live with it. And made in Britain – not the usual “made in China”. So worth a little more to support our workers.

Very pleased with this, it looks great, is quite quick, not too noisy. It’s metal inside and gets hot when it has hot water in it. Tricky to guage 1 cup level on the measure but I’ve got used to it.
Solid and substantial
I like the fact that it is solid and well built also that you can change the panels to a different colour with a panel kit.

Looks good matching other Dualit items we have in Canvas white. Good volume and pours well with inner and outer spout (no drips). I read that it is noisy; it is, but no issue for a couple of minutes while reaching boiling point. Nice handle comfortable to lift when full. Bought additional ‘architect’ panels for about 12 so we could alter look now and again. Would recommend!

Stylish quality kettle
Very stylish kettle, easy to use and clean, boils quickly and not noisilyyou can boil small amounts of water. Pours nicely too, I was a bit worried about this as other reviews have mentioned that the kettle dribbles.

I had a Dualit before this which lasted for seven years and on that basis I bought this one.
It works well, heats the water quickly, however it’s noisy (more so that the previous) if that doesn’t
bother you too much. then it’s good to go.
In the rating it ask’s how many stars I would I give for ‘flavour’ I gave none as I don’t know what it’s referring too,
this may affect the overall star rating.
The bottom line is :- I would recommend this product and buy again.

Brilliant kettle
After hanging on to my Siemens Porsche designed kettle for 20 yrs, the time came to replace it and I’m delighted to say this is a great kettle. It’s reasonably quiet and apart from the fantastic way it looks the non drip spout is amazing. I’d recommend this to anyone, the next purchase will be a matching toaster.

This is my second one as the first one’s non-drip system didn’t work. But having had that replaced very quickly I love the kettle and matching toaster, looks stylish and sleek. The noise level is much lower than my previous quick boil kettle.

Dualit Architect kettle is an amazing product!
Its the 2nd kettle ive had in 10 years, we bought the same one but changed the colour from grey to cream, that’s the reason we changed, but as a kettle, the pourer in spot on, lots of kettles have terrible pourers, end up with water around cup & on your bench, not with this kettle you won’t! defo recommend to anyone
What a sleek, modern kettle! I’ve wanted one of these for a while, it might be a bit expensive but well worth the money. It’s a beautiful design, the small pouring spout is perfect. The measuring gauge lights up. Quick and quiet boiling. Goes perfect with the toaster of the same make! Highly recommend.

I bought the exact same model 8 years ago and have loved using it every day. The kettle is used extensively in a large household so gets alot of use. I have never had a kettle last 8 years so I got another one! The design is beautiful and it lasts very well.
Great Kettle
We bought this kettle in Jan17 and it lasted until Oct 20 which is really very good considering the use. The element finally went and they are not replaceable in the Architect model. However, still a great kettle and have just bought an identical replacement.

Only lasted 18 months
Only 18 months old and the switch stopped working. Dualit say this model is not repairable so a real waste of money. I really would have expected a more resilient appliance for the price!

his is the best kettle that i have had. it looks amazing and pours lovely SOME (mabe one!) has said that it is noisy. i do think that it is louder than my old one but only for a few seconds and i probably only noticed because i was listening. this is a quality kettle that im really happy with

Design is aesthetic and build quality is good. Pouring spout was not so drip free as it claimed however and pouring takes a bit of getting used to but once acquainted is better than a typical spout or kettle.
