Was it Plum the mathematical genius or White the top lawyer? Perhaps it was Scarlet the glamorous movie star? Enter the game of CLUE and through a process of elimination, a bit of bluff, and some luck with the dice, solve the mystery and reveal the cards within the secret envelope. Move around the mansion to ask CLUE game questions and see what answers you’re given. When you think you know who did the dastardly deed, it’s time to make your accusation. A classic and fairly old game but still as much fun as it’s always been, Was very pleased with this product.
Bought a few board games for my five and six year olds during lockdown. They love this.

Having not played this since I, myself, was a child, I decided to buy it to play with my children. It’s the same classic game but with a couple of changes: Mrs White has been replaced with Miss Orchid and there are a pack of clue cards to help you along. However, you can still play the game without using the clue cards. This game suited all ages in our family from 13-50 years and probably one of the few games we can play without arguing. Each game lasts 20-30mins and is very easy to get the hang of; my youngest was able to deduce who, where and what on the second time of playing. Great fun.

So during Covid 19 lockdown my kids were desperate to play cluedo. Our original game did not survive one of my clear outs – I couldn’t recall them ever playing it. Had great fun with this updated version though. The addition of Clue cards is great – speeds the game up a bit. Our family ages are 13 upwards.
Love this Classic game . I hope they bring in new weapons and characters in the future like replace Mrs Peacock and Dr Orchid with Lord Royal the Butler and Inspector Orange the Police Officer and new weapons axe and poison gas.

Paid over the odds as ordered on Amazon. Sold out elsewhere before Christmas, however good fun entertainment for 5 adults on Boxing Day , so worth it . Just don’t use the clue cards for adults
Updated classic with additional cards to speed up the game or make it easier for younger ones. 12 and 9 year olds love it.
This was a surprise family hit over the Christmas period. We’ve played so many times and the children love it. I’m glad we waited until they were older before getting this game (10 and 13) as they really think the game through and are very good at deducting! Fantastic!

Liked Cluecards, which were not part of the original game.This speeded up the game, so kids(7years) can play more easily with adults.
My 10 year old grandson has had hours of enjoyment out of this game. A great opportunity for a family to sit together, use their brains and have fun.

If you played the classic game when you were a kid, they have added in some extra cards which through us a bit but you can just ignore them. Great family game

his well known game from my childhood has been updated and revamped. The clue cards really help the game crack on. we’ve played three times already and all the family young and old have enjoyed it.

The game I received (Cluedo) is definitely the game I expected (Cluedo), so 5 stars for that.
I was a little disapointed by the actual playtime. As a child I thought Cluedo helped us pass a few hours, as an “adult” we struggle to make it last more than a quarter.
Loved this, brought back lots of childhood memories and has an interesting new place to play.

We love this game!! Bought as a family treat and it didn’t disappoint. We’ve had lots of laughs around the table with our children playing this. My only complaint would be that there’s not enough paper sheets. We play 2 games a night which uses both sides of a sheet for 5 of us and we ran out pretty quickly. Fab game though!!

Really fun game to play with the whole family. Keeps the kids off their phones for an hour. Even the little girl (she’s 7), joins in, as long as she teams up with another player.
I miss the original board but this is the next best thing. Quality is ok, not like the original.
Great game even if only two play. Clue cards to me are a silly idea, however, that is only my opinion, that said, by leaving them out does not spoil the game played the old fashioned way. I also don’t bother placing the kill tools either, they are quite cheap looking and are quite difficult to pick up with older hands.
I’ve knocked off a star for this purely because like so many mass-produced things these days, quality has definitely been compromised for the sake of keeping costs down.
This is my second game, having returned the first because the board itself was all wrinkled – impeccable service from Amazon though and no problems with exchanging. The replacement is better but has a “chafed” look to the board. (The printed picture on the board is stuck onto it and it seems that this is where their manufacturing flaws lie).
All other pieces are fine though and it doesn’t spoil the game. Just a little disappointing when you buy a brand new game.
I highly recommend the game though. Even the teenagers can be persuaded to join in!
Kind of like the Cluedo of old. We don’t really like the special cards as they spoil the tactics of the game by forcing revelations, but you can play the game without using them, so all good.

This was a gift for 8 and 10 years of age visiting from their home in Madrid they very much liked it and have taken it back to enjoy with their friends
Delivery was within 23 hours of placing my order and the game arrived with all pieces intact and no damage.
The first thing I noticed was the removal of Mrs White and the modificiations to gameplay. The second thing was that neither my husband or son actually knew how to play it – ah, so it’s not that you don’t like it it’s that you don’t get it. When I explained it was a lighter version of 221B Baker Street they were on board.
Gameplay took about 40 minutes but 10 of those were probably me explaining again what you did when you entered a room. We didn’t use the clue cards and if you rolled the symbol we treated it as a one and played to the traditional rules. Nice to see that the murder weapons were still diecast but I have no idea why the rope is now a lump of plastic instead of a tiny bit of knotted twine – might just have to replace that when I find some string.
Good nostalgic game that we did enjoy playing and will play again!
A part was missing though. The black envelope where you hide the 3 cards was not in the box. Not the end of the world but a bit disappointing and sloppy quality control.
I played the original Cluedo a while back and felt nostalgic and wanted to play it again with a group of friends during a house party. Friends and I enjoyed very much. Highly recommended.
Cluedo as you know it, not much more to say than that! Packaging and appearance of item is slightly trendier than the classic version most are probably used to.
Who doesn’t love Cluedo…new character…pretty much everything is the same. Would recommend for the winter months!

Played over Christmas with friends (who remember the original Cluedo) Much quicker to play but still have to figure out “whodunnit”.Family members are buying their own sets now – highly recommended.

Hours of fun playing this! It’s the modern version but the kids don’t know that and it’s as playable as ever.
We have enjoyed playing this greatly, we must be up to over 100 games so far..Only gripe would be the lack of info for new sheets (We just copied in the end)
Classic game enjoyed by the whole family! Only 4 stars for the packaging. If you take everything off you can easily get rid of half of the box.
I had played this game many years ago but had forgotten how food it was! It’s been revamped and is a bit more p.c. (i.e. there’s no mrs white the maid, she’s been replaced by a more intelligent and attractive female). Only 6 players but over Christmas we played in teams and worked out really well.
Any age will enjoy this game. Can play with 2 or more players. Game lasts enough time to be enjoyable but not too long to become boring. Board is nicely decorated and cards colourful. Wish they’d spent a bit more on the characters as these are tiny & plastic. Otherwise would recommend.
Updated version of classic game. Played with 7 & 10 year old. They love it. Introduction of new game play speeds up the game. More time for play!
