Works well
Heat gun works very well, I used it to take seven layers of paint off of an old door, very happy with the result. Need to take points off for the heat control though, it seems to have been put on the wrong way around, as in when the arrow points at the lowest temperature it’s actually at the highest, which was frustrating until I figured it out. All over it is easy to use though, and comes with loads of attachments so even with that little fault I’m happy with my purchase.

I needed this hot air gun for heat-shrink electrical soldering & repairs. It worked very well, with a flat plate attachment that lets you isolate the part you’re heating. With the variable temperature and various replaceable nozzles it’s a generally useful tool to have around for shrink wrapping, paint stripping and so on, and I’m glad I got it rather than trying to get by with a hair dryer. I like the rugged, cylindrical design of the air gun itself, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the power cord isn’t that long. You might need an extension unless your project is very near the power socket.

My only gripe is that the flex is very short only around 1 metre long .

Wanted to redecorate the woodwork at home that has had paint added to it for the last 50 years. This made it a pleasure. Being able to adjust the heat for different areas is fantastic. And the different heads made the nooks and crannies easier to focus on. Despite what the fire alarms were claiming we did not set anything on fire. It just gets really hot. Paint bubbled up and slid off. Now just have to find something to remove the varnish that the paint was used to hide.

This is amazing. We live house built during WWII and needed to strip the woodwork down as it’s had a coat of gloss for every year since the early sixties. This is our second gun, the first not much cheaper had no temperature control or attachments and the wire was so badly attached that the black plastic has finally worn, then cracked and then the wires broke altogether. We’ve been in almost3 years, I am no closer, had resorted to sanding by hand which is time consuming and dirty so to avoid getting sick I needed frequent breaks. I was losing the will to live …Back to this one… for 8 more I get an array of attachments that help me navigate tight areas like special trim or architrave too close to kitchen cupboards that I was until now worrying about how I was going to tackle it. The temperature control on the back is a nice touch also allowing you to control how you approach certain areas… I am confident that I will be finished for this Christmas instead of 2030 as I am working at 3x the speed.. nice bit of ki

Strips wood easily..
I’ve only had this heat gun for a couple of days , but it strips the old paint off the wood very effectively.

What an awesome and effective bit of kit and a great price. I genuinely wasted hours with a scraper and a belt sander trying to break down the paint to get to bare wood. Spent to much on paper and which inked light this first. Achieved in the first half hour with this what took me hours with paper and Sanders getting clogged up – and a whole lot less dust!
Definitely worth the money. The only thing I cant comment on yet is whether it lasts

Great heat gu
I love this heat gun.
It has 2 speed settings operated via the sliding on/off switch and a very easy to use dialable temperature control at the back of the gun.
It heats up almost instantly which is great, and the included attachments are useful too.
It came ready with a UK plug which is nice.
Definitely recommend.

Overall, does exactly what you need it to do. Good variable heat control and 2 different speeds. The one criticism is that the variable dial shows no indication of temperature. Not too big an issue as you can gauge quite easily, but a simple alteration that would get it 5 stars.

Attachments an extra bonus – lead too short for gun to reach the top of the door but easily remedied by plugging in to an extension lead balanced on a second set of ladders.

Excellent so far. Easy to use. Quality appears to be good. Love the huge range of temperature control. Only complaint so far is that the lead could have been a little longer. Tricky to use with an extension reel on a ladder. Time will tell on durability.

his was excellent used on 1905 wrought iron railings, some areas couldn’t handle a high heat so being able to gently reduce was a great feature, as there was heavily rusted areas…..great to see them back to original bare metal ready to prime and paint.

I saw this heatgun reviewed on Youtube before making the choice with loads of others on the market. What also gave confidence is the lifetime guarantee as a heatgun can easily burn out under intense workload.
The box comes with many accessories from different metal nozzles to focus or spread the heat to an area to various metal scrapers. One scraper, a flat trowel shape I found brilliant at getting some old paint off some metal scrolling I wanted to clean, even without the heat. The trowel was clean and scratch free after lots of use.
The heatgun as a setting at the back – I always thought that’s where they vent air in from but not so on this design. So it’s not like your typical hair dryer. It can go to melting paint or even softening metal to more delicate use in the kitchen although I’d say it’s overkill and better to use a mini blow torch.
It’s reasonably priced and with the guarantee you shouldn’t need to buy another one again.

The. Seekone hot air gun is the best on the market by far. I used the gun to remove an over painted metal garden bench.

I bought this as it stands on it’s back for hands free use and has temp control from 50 to 600 and anywhere in between.
On first use I used it hands free to shrink tube some pipe.
It is NOT the most stable!! Is has a very poor quality steel tag that helps it stand on its back. It bends easily and is a poor design as this is supposed to be a professional unit.
I use heat guns as a plumber as this is my profession so I need quality kit.
I gave it 4 stars due to the rubbish rear support.
The temp control also works back to front.
If you align up the + mark on the arrow fully turned up it blows cool, turn the – to the arrow and it get red hot!!
QC is obviously not very good or these bits that stop it getting 5 stars would have been rectified during the prototype process.
All said, it is a good gun because of the wide temp control and dual airflow.
Being an engineer, I would like to have a chat with the design team and bring up the design issues that no one seems to have found at design and production level.

Apron receipt I tried the heat gun but unfortunately is was broken and the fan control button was faulty, hence unable to use.

Easy to use ..sits upright if needed
Gives off plenty heat with variable control and I like the fact that I can use both hands when the heat gun sits vertically on the bench.

I have not owned or used a heat gun before. The gun is easy to use and the accessories were useful. However, after using the gun on the high setting, it is recommended that you run it at the low setting for 15 seconds, this can prolong the the life of the gun. This is a minus point as you just want to scrape the paint you are removing immediately. In the notes it says ‘The heat gun can produce temperature as high as 600 degrees C (1112 degrees F) can cause severe bums’. So you have been warned! Overall, it is pretty good and is light and easy to use.

Good price, good selection of tool accessories, easy to use. I bought it to strip the bannister rail and newel on the staircase and it did the trick nicely.
Used it for stripping several layers of paint off timber windows. Does the job well. Handgun is light and easy to hold. Very powerful in max setting. Only problem is it also blows hot air sideways onto the hand using the scraper so you have to stop now and then unless you had a pair of asbestos gloves which are probably illegal anyway.

Used it remove component from a motherboard, went great. I will use it for circuit board repair mainly. My only gripe is there is not any numbers on the temperature dial and it can be hard to get the desired temperature depening on what you are working on, other than that, all good, thanks.

I’ve used this to strip paint from an old table painting thickly with white and it’s done the job well! The heat control is awesome, the attachments are great and it’s not too loud, like a hair dryer, really.

Temp control wrong way around!!!
Spent first 20 minutes cursing this and planning to return it was faulty because seemed to keep cutting out. Read a few more reviews and found one saying temp control switch is reversed. Had another go and success. Ridiculas that this is the case. Turn up to cool, down to heat up! Works fine now I know. Pleased with product now

You may think this is a bit expensive but this really is a good one. I stripped window sills inside the house and revealed the 100 year old original wood…. really good gun and easy to use. Try a mid heat first and work up. Stripping paint off gives you options and rather than paint it again I have lovely wood. I have bought a few cheap heat guns they are rubbish…. excellent buy.

On first try can’t be faulted.Even if it only works for this one job of stripping two doors of 60 years of paint it will be money well spent.But having previously used a De Walt heatgun it works and feels exactly the same at a third of the price.

Great product overall. I needed it for heat shrinking and it does an excellent job. The fact that it also comes with extras is an added bonus. However, I would have liked it to come with a plastic case of some sort. But that’s a minor niggle.

Not yet used this gun much yet but it has a good range of temperature control and I love that it can stand on its end so I can use hands free which is going to make it even more useful.
We bought this to remove vinyl car stickers. It was a bit nerve wracking taking a heatgun to the car paint work but it worked fine! We were quoted over 50 an hour for our signwriter to do it for us so this was 25 well spent! We’ve not used it for any other purpose though.

Just what I wanted for drying my artwork. Not heavy and easy to use. Early days as I have only used it once but see no reason why it won’t continue to work well. Really pleased and a reasonable price too.
Great built quality, plastic casing and guard are cool to the touch even after prolong use. Heats up very quickly and at 1800W it product plenty of heat, perfect for stripping paint.
The attachments are very useful around the house, all are just push fit to the metal nozzle at the tip.. Nice and thick cable and a good 3pin UK plug = safe and ready to work for a long time.
Variable temperature control
Great product. I used this to heat and reflow the GPU chip on my 2011 MacBook Pro, worked a treat. The variable heat control worked perfectly. I used this in conjunction with an infrared thermometer which is a must to ensure the right temperature is achieved.
