Great product and safe - the external casing doesn't heat up
The temperature control whilst basic and functional has no real markings/temperature indication hence you’re left using the thermometer icon ‘clock’ position as a rough guide to temparature.
Great little tool but cable is too sho
This is a great little tool, but the cable is annoyingly short. When I was sanding a high door and so had to go up the ladder I had to prop my big extension cable at the top of the ladder too as the cable is only about 3 feet long for the tool. This is a shame as it is otherwise fantastic value and very effective at stripping paint. Despite this problem I would still recommend this product.

Hot gun for a great price
Great heat gun with adjustment for heat, great for any job. Have used to solder and for removing paint on a old window frame, perfect adjustment to suit your working speed. Tools are not so good, but they are free and I can’t fault them.

Useful
Bought this to strip old paint and varnish. The gun itself is well built and comfortable to use. The temperature control is straightforward to use and really works when trying to remove different materials e.g cooler for varnish so it doesn’t just reflow.
The gun itself remains cool to hold even after prolonged use. Haven’t used it for anything else yet but I can’t see any reason it shouldn’t be just as good at shrink wrapping etc.

I used this to strip years of gloss off an open staircase. It’s was very time consuming but the results are worth it. Definitely plenty of ventilation for the fumes. Good with having temperature control. This product melted right back to the wood. Just be prepared if it’s a big project then it will take time.

I love it!I’m not a specialist and it’s the first time I’m using this,but I find it amazing!I have an old door that I didn’t want to replace,who had too many layers of paint.Easy job to remove it with this gun.Easy to use,the only thing is you have to be careful whn you’re not using it,as it’s not stable at all.Other than that,no fault.

I was worried buying this because it is unbranded, but it actually works very well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. however the only thing to be aware of is that your hands can get very hot whilst using this.
Also, please make sure you don’t get too close to the carpet. We learned the hard way!

Brilliant product, does exactly what it says on the box. Im using it for removing gloss paint, from doors and door frames and its working well.

Got this heat gun for my resin making project, to use for reduce air bubbles in the resin. Unfortunately, I didn’t not get chance to use other attachments but I am sure it will become useful one day. The temperature control is at the back of the gun. Its good value for money! I highly recommended this product.
CAUTION! always heat proof Gloves (PPE) to protect yourself as it can cause severe burn on high heat.

I’ve been rubbing down painted woodwork in the hall, stairs and upstairs landing areas in preparation for repainting – and it was taking forever ! It was badly chipped and much of the paintwork appeared to be at least 30 years old. In the end, I decided to invest in a Seekone heat gun and strip the paintwork completely. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made ! The heat gun has various settings for whatever temperature you need, which together with the various nozzle attachments that are included with the gun, meant that I was able to strip off all the old paint in no time at all. It is easy to use and enables a much faster preparation of areas for repainting. Very pleased with this purchase.

Once I got the hang of using it, paint was gliding off with the help of the scrapper that is included.
Make sure you open windows to ventilate the room as smoke can build up.

This heat gun has made the job easy, you will still need to give the area a light sand, the attachments are all fit for purpose. I cannot fault this heat gun .

Excellent product but becareful putting the tools on the dryer as the edge’s are quiet sharp I don’t think they should be like this but as you got to hold them to push them on to the dryer my hand slipped and the one tool actually nicked my finger and bled but apart from this I would recommend it and it’s actually a very good product for the money ,I would recommend using heat gloves or a pair of gloves when your actually using it anyway this will over come this problem .buy it you won’t be disappointed .I still give this product a 5 stars as it’s a very good product for the money

This heat gun is great for home diy it arrived early and was was packaged
I have been using this to remove paint from wood and metal. It works very well. I thought for the price it wouldn’t last but surprised at how well its holding up after long days of repeated use. The fuse blew but that was an easy fix. I don’t find the temperature control does much and I think the low is actually high which is weird but doesn’t affect its use for my purposes. The bits that come with it don’t attach very securely so I have ended up just using it on its own with a Scraper which is perfect. It’s very lightweight and plastic stays cool. Highly recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough of this heat gun.
I’ve used it for various projects around the house and varying paint textures (matt, gloss and lead) and it’s performed brilliantly on all of them.
You can adjust the heat up to 600C which on the highest seating more than does the job. The way the heat can be adjusted is great and makes it really easy to control. There is a switch which if left as is, keeps the temperature between 50C-400C. Flicking it takes the temperature to between 400C-600C and vice versa. The gun itself doesn’t feel hot to the touch at all and I’ve used it for hours on end at the hottest setting and had no issues whatsoever.
The tip obviously gets hot so be careful where you put it as I’ve had a couple of occasions where it’s burnt the carpet. Whoops!
The 7 accessories that come with it in a handy little clip close bag are really useful and enable you to use the head that suits your needs.
Overall, it’s great value for money and far superior to other heat guns I’ve used. Just keep it off the carpet!

Bought to heat back of mobile phone the melt glue so I could remove, and then replace a broken charging socket… Worked well and phone fixed, so happy.

At first I struggled to fit the nozzle for stripping paint onto the gun as mine was a very tight fit but eventually I managed to push it in. No problems with then using it and have used it to strip three window sills of paint. First time I used it in very short bursts but eventually used it for longer periods without any problems. The inclusion of the tools is very handy. The handle on the scrapper that comes with it could be bigger as my son found it hard to hold as it was very small for him but for a woman with small hands that was not an issue but we both felt that the handle could do with been longer as it gets hot from the heat gun.

Bought in the prime day sale for 19 and everything works as it should and really good for the money the only reason it got 4/5 and not 5/5 is that the cable is not as long as I’d like and the stand for it is not the most secure to say the least.
Apart from all that an all around decent product for the money paid is say it’s a 4.5 out of five…
I will update the review in about a year’s time and let you guys know how it holds up in the long run.

Perfect for the job i needed, I just use it to dry paint before gilding. Only minor set back is that the cable is quite short, but can make do if you have an extension lead knocking around

Heat gun works very well, I used it to take seven layers of paint off of an old door, very happy with the result. Need to take points off for the heat control though, it seems to have been put on the wrong way around, as in when the arrow points at the lowest temperature it’s actually at the highest, which was frustrating until I figured it out. All over it is easy to use though, and comes with loads of attachments so even with that little fault I’m happy with my purchase.
