Maximum result minimum effort and no strong eye burning smells
I think the packaging could be better for this cleaner as it arrived and it had leaked and the solution had taken the writing and pictures of the bottle. I don’t know if it’s amazons fault for being to rough with the package or if it’s just a design fault on the bottle itself. However, this is the only downfall to this product this has revived very sad and neglected grill and Bbq and brought them back to life and sparkly and clean liek they used to be. I love how it’s not got a very strong smell like other oven cleaners so my eyes weren’t burning when cleaning the oven for once which was a nice change. I think this is going to be my new oven cleaner it’s very tough on grease and built up black burnt on stains, maximum result with minimum effort I spray leave for 5 minutes and wipe off with a wet sponge. Where as with mr muscle I would be scrubbing for ages with my eye burning and my house stinking of chemicals. Using this it has been a much nicer experience cleansing my oven and who knows I may even do it more often and not go so long between deep cleans.

Wow, this just works. sprayed on to my stainless steel grill grates for my BBQ then left it for 10-15 mins, came back and the burnt on grime just wiped off.

This product is amazing. It’s the best cleaner I have used in a long time. It makes cleaning the cooker and oven dishes almost effortless. Just spray and wait a few minutes and then clean off with warm soapy water. I will absolutely buy this again and can highly recommend it.

Does a decent job of cleaning a barbecue grill, does not get it spotless as I still have some burnt on grease after two uses, but much better than other products I have tried.
Good value everyday BBQ cleane
Easy to use, instructions are very clear.
Spray, leave a few minutes and then wash/scrub off. Used on the gas BBQ for the first BBQ of the year and deep clean needed. This does the job well, not to caustic and effective. Some stubborn areas will need an second go, but for the price I can’t complain. This size should last the summer with around 1 BBQ each week.

I sprayed this magical stuff on, left it on for about 20 minutes, got my steel wool ready and I didn’t even need it. The dirt just washed straight off with the tap. No scrubbing required!!! No awful chemical smell either, in fact you can’t smell anything unless you’re inches away from it. When I washed the spray off I audibly gasped, which tells me I’ve officially reached the age where I’m seriously uncool. I would recommend this to anyone, never been this impressed with a cleaning product before! *chef’s kiss*

Brilliant stuff
I’m so impressed with this cleaner. We have an enamel tray which we use for oven chips. Although we wash it after using it, gradually a thick baked on layer of grease has formed on the top, which I just could not remove. I decided to try this stuff, and basically couldn’t believe how easy and effective it was. I put the tray into some hot water in the sink first, to warm it up as instructed. Then put the tray inside a large greenhouse plastic tray, in case of any spillage. I sprayed on the foam, left it for 12 minutes, and then rinsed it off. The water in the sink was the colour of treacle, and the tray gleamed, almost back to how it was when new. Brilliant stuff!
Grime falls off
Great product! Used to clean my very dirty oven and it’s done wonders. Left to sit for 5 minutes and the dirt just fell off. Can’t recommend enough.

This stuff is killer! Just make sure you leave it for a good 30 mins before going to scrub or wipe because it works much better and the foam changed colour if it’s left longer indicating it’s doing it’s job!

Very good product, worked well on heavily burnt on items which other products have failed to clean. Left on for a few minutes and then worked in with old paint brush. Recommend you wear gloves as very strong.

I used this on an oven that was heavily dirty with burn on grease and it removed the majority. Just remember wear rubber gloves as it will burn your skin.

As a mum of 3 I rarely get the time to clean the oven, I bought this after reading the reviews. It’s brilliant considering I half heartedly used it expecting it to do nothing. I sprayed the oven left it for a few minutes and then wiped it and it came up lovely.
TLDR: Definitely NOT a waste of money. Amazing product, works exactly as stated, exceeded expectations. A bit of elbow grease required to remove, but otherwise easy to use.

My husband has lived in our flat for nearly 10 years now, and in all the time I’ve known him he’s never once cleaned the oven. And your day-to-day grime and grease has built up, topped off by what shall henceforth be known as The Cake Incident a few days ago, whereby an over-filled cake tin spilled sugary, fatty chocolate cake mix onto the floor of the oven and caused a Vesuvian smoke cloud to fill our kitchen.
In a post-10pm panic, I went hunting on Amazon for cleaning goods. I knew we would need a heavy-duty substance to tackle this beast of a bakery disaster. After trawling through reviews, filling my cart with various substances of varying causticness and alleged efficacy, I stumbled across the HG 138050106 Oven, Grill and Barbeque Cleaner. The cheapest of the bunch, I found myself suspicious but desperate. Works in 3-5 minutes? What? This can’t be. Oven cleaners take overnight commitment in my experience.
So the alleged miracle substance arrived today, wrapped in plastic with a slight leak from where it had been stored slightly improperly (heed ye the warning to keep the bottle upright for sure). I donned my gloves, removed the plastic and rinsed the bottle, despairing as the instructions on the label started to rinse away. Thankfully enough remained for me to review the details of how to use, and I set about assaulting the blackened, charred interior of our cooker.
The spray is very foamy, though rather narrow (not sure if there’s another nozzle setting, I was just eager to get going). It’s very easy to control and apply, though there will be a lot of squirting involved to cover the surfaces required. There is a very slight odour of cleaning product, but even in our windowless, unventilated kitchen at no point did it become unpleasant, overwhelming or provoke physical symptoms.
With the dire state of our oven’s inside and the glass door that conceals it, I made sure the surfaces were utterly slathered and decided of my own volition to give a generous 10-15 minutes for it to work. I left the oven door open, so it would work on the glass in a horizontal position and not leak down onto the kitchen floor.
Upon the appointed time, I returned to the kitchen to find the formerly snowy white streaks of foam now a grimy, greasy brown and with Marigolds donned and sponge in hand, I set to wiping down the offending surfaces.
HOLY HICKITY HECK, y’all. It straight up REMOVES so much of the grease and baked-on food. The glass will need another application or two, there are some really stubborn spots, especially around the seal. But everything is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The floor of the oven is SO CLEAN. I can see through the glass! IN LESS THAN TWENTY MINUTES. The other oven cleaner I got as a just in case dictates 4 hours minimum, preferably overnight!
Wiping down the foam and properly cleaning the oven afterward is a bit of a bear. You need to wipe out the foam with a damp sponge, then wash a few times with soapy water and to be careful I would suggest a final rinse with hot, clean water. So I give it 4 stars there, because mobility-wise I’ve got some issues and that does make it a bit trickier and harder to manage, but otherwise wow. Just wow.

Good stuff
Good on greasy BBQ, excellent on hedge trimmer blades! Didn’t remove the really baked on stuff, but did a fair job. Discovered somewhat by accident, that it cleaned the blades of my hedge trimmer a treat.

I sprayed this stuff on my oven and grill, went back half an hour later and mopped the floor.
It literally just liquified the grease and dripped it off. Quick wipe over and zero scrubbing.

This really does the job
This is a great product. After a BBQ, I lay the grill on a dustbin bag, spray it with this stuff and leave for 15 minutes or so. All the deposits come away easily (I use a wire brush) and the grill still looks as good as new. No more laborious scrubbing with a sponge pad.

Just can’t believe, my oven again looks like new. So surprised how good is that stuff.
Best oven cleaner. Virtually odourless. Foamy. Superbly decreasing. I used this to clean kitchen after a tenant left and it looked like they had spray painted the walls with oil and lard. Not to mention the cooked was badly carbon coated with never being cleaned. This stuff made short work of all of it. I sprayed the ceramic tiles on the walls and floors. Made a coffee and came back to a white foam that had grabbed the dirt and grease and turned brown. It wiped off easily with kitchen paper and a damp sponge. Then to the cooker top. Same again. Even the carbon around the gas rings. Superb. Too goo to be true I thought and tackled the oven. OK over I needed to spray twice. First time lifted most of the gunk. The second time I went for the glass and rails. I am super Impressed and all for less than a fiver. Never I would have thought it. This truly is the best oven cleaner I have ever use. No odour and no leftover gunk. Superb

Good produc
I ordered this after trying and failing to remove the stubborn cooked-on marks from my hob. Other hob cleaning products require a fair bit of elbow grease, but this is great- spray it on, let magic occur for a few minutes, wipe off… repeat a few times for the really bad bits- job done!

Only negative was it leaked during transport so I would advise open the packaging with care. Not necessarily anyone’s fault a minor hazard of ordering this way I guess
Product itself I would say works better than leading brands. I would so love to say my house is spotless and I love cleaning but I hate it . This however, made the process of cleaning my oven much swifter . Would absolutely buy again.

Oven Cleaner for removing hard to remove grease/grime
Used this to get our oven back to sparkling clean, took a couple of goes but came up sparkling. Bit of a chemical smell as we used it but soon cleared once we’d cleaned the oven down.

After reading the reviews I decided to give this product a go and I must say I am impressed. So far I’ve only used it on my oven door/glass which was the dirtiest bit and my go what a difference it has made already. I only left it for a couple of minutes before wiping it off. Wish I had taken a before and after pic now.

Actually works. Better than any other oven cleaner I have tried, easier for monthly maintenance as it took less than 10 minutes.

After reading mixed reviews I was a big concerned about product. However I have used a few HG products and have always performed well. So I used this on baked on grease on my oven door. Not realising that the glass can be removed I initially started the clean with the glass in situ. Sprays a thickish foam. As long as you dont spray to much it does not run off. I left for 5 mins. Then my tip is then using kitchen roll agitate the product and then leave for a few more minutes. Then wipe off and rinse. After repeating this 3 times I got it pretty well spotless. So it does work. A little patience is needed. On the 3rd time I had realised glass was removable and I applied product with glass flat on a surface. Will be doing rest of oven over the next few days but if it got the baked grime off the glass the rest will be no problem. So all in all a great produc

This stuff works my oven was minging after Xmas so gave this ago so good I’ve ordered more only thing I will say is once the time is up give the area a good scrub to remove any stubborn bits that are left before you rinse as I think some people are expecting to be able to just rinse and it be perfect judging by some of the negative reviews but other than that fab produc

Good product, does the work
My pan was really burnt on the bottom side and this really did clean it up a lot. One side is still dark but I think it will go completely away if I heat the pan a little bit more before spraying it with this cleaner.

It does tackle grease and grime.
It does require quite a bit of elbow grease to remove the hard to shift grease etc. But if you leave it on long enough it does eat away at the grease and dirt. I am very happy with how our oven now looks.
Much better than Mr Muscle
My partner made absolutely delicious salmon kebabs a couple of weeks ago, but since then every loaf of bread we’ve made has had a fishy flavour to the crust! I cleaned the oven twice with Mr Muscle and it didn’t work, despite looking clean. Then I tried this product and a couple of minutes after applying it could see brown grease sliding down the inside of the oven and pooling at the bottom. There was no scrubbing required and it wiped out really easily. Our bread now tastes of bread again.
It does tackle grease and grime.

Cleanest I’ve ever got the oven. Works as it should. I now have a glass door I can see through.
Did the job for a cheap price
Comes out as a foam so takes a long time to wipe off with a damp sponge. Was good at removing top layer of grease and burnt stuff. However very old hardened layer (from years of student use) was very hard to remove so hard to use a scraper as well as the spray. Did the job – not sure it as good as Oven Pride. But this is cheaper and worth it.

Easy to use! Desolved the grease in the oven and on the glass oven doors, but needed a few goes at removing stubborn grease. Overall very impressed

I use this product to clean my barbeque grill and my oven at home. First class results and very safe to use. HG do a fine range of products. No hesitation to recommend.

As long as you allow plenty of time for the spray to do its work, this product is as good as any on the market. Have used it over several years now.

My oven was filthy (shame on me) and I bought this as a quick fix until I could get a professional oven cleaner in to sort it. It works great on the glass and adequately on the interior of the oven. Certainly surpassed my expectations. I won’t need that professional clean for a good few months now and after that I’m gonna use this more regularly.

Regularly use the same brand of drain cleaner to rid shower of hair related blackages. When SO said we were short of oven cleaner, I did a search on Amazon (I’m in charge of shooping list – don’t ask) to gauage prices. Stumbled across the HG brand, and orderd all three ‘cooker cleaner’ sprays. Microwave, hob and this, the oven cleaner.
Straight off, use it like you would any other oven cleaner: glove up, warm the oven and spray. This is where the similarity ends, no noxious, debilitating fumes, and the baked on grime subjectively comes away easier. Gloves are important if you want to manually wash stuff afterwards. SO chose not to and ended up with very rough dry hands – silly!
In short it is effective and what it sets out to do, clean ovens, without one needing to don NATO spec respiration devices to be in the same room.

This actually works quite well
only advice I would say, don’t spray too much, is better to do multiple washes with little foam than trying to apply too much in one go
Cleans amazing!
Amazing product. My oven was in a really bad state and this just melts all the grease within minutes of spraying it! It is very easy to use and did not even irritate my skin, so highly recommended!
