Am using a MacBook Air and an external monitor and this works perfectly.
I got this primarily because I wanted to maintain good eye contact during Zoom calls, so I place this in the middle of my external monitor
Camera is good, loving the ability to manually focus.
The microphone is not too fantastic, but not too bad.
So, as long as you aren’t expecting podcast quality, this gets the job done!
If you need better audio, it’s easy enough to plug in some wired earphones with built in mic for better sound quality.

Le bras articul me permet de mettre la camra dans n’importe quelle position sans avoir peur qu’elle tombe ou se brise. C’est tellement plus facile pour faire les travaux en simultan avec les lves! J’adore!
Le seul point ngatif est que lorsque je suis en Meet, en Zoom ou en Teams, l’image projete que je vois mon cran est inverse, ce qui n’est pas le cas pour les amis qui participent. Ils voient l’image comme il faut. Alors, si vous devez projeter quelque chose en classe, je vous suggre d’utiliser le logiciel.

Très bon produit simple et efficace
Utilise en classe avec mes lves et VLC j’en ai acquis une personnelle pour mes visios.
Bizarrerie l’image est trs dgrade avec VLC chez moi, j’ai donc bascul sur HUE viewer mme au collge sans installation avec chrome et HUE intuition et l j’ai t bluff par la qualit. Dommage que l’on ne puisse pas faire de rotation 180 de l’image comme avec VLC (autre que Flip et mirror qui rendent l’criture illisible avec la symtrie). Cette fonctionnalit permet d’avoir le socle en haut de la feuille montrer et d’crire sans tre gn. J’ai par a en tournant la camra avec le bras flexible mais c’est moins pratique.

This product was great but only lasted 2 weeks. When I was adjusting the camera it snapped from the neck. Luckily it still works but I had to tape it and now have to be careful when adjusting.

I'm an art teacher and I purchased this to use at home during virtual learning (for live/video demonstrations). I'm not the most tech savvy person, but it is truly plug and play. It is easy to adjust the goose neck higher or lower and the base is nice and stable. My only issue is when I have something with a plain white background, you can faintly see wavy lines in the background. But its not like I'm a professional photographer, so it is perfectly fine for me. It still takes a better picture than the camera built into my laptop.

I purchased this when I found out I would be the online teacher at my elementary school. I needed a way to project a page from a book, or to model how to solve a problem on paper. This document camera did the job. It projected as soon as I plugged it into my MacBook while on Google Meets. It’s awesome!!! Made virtual and in person teaching easier for me. I can record video and push it to my virtual students a day before virtual class. In person I could teach from seat without going to the board all the time. It has great focus and shows up clear.

Best document camera. And, it’s affordable. You won’t be disappointed.
Compact and good value
I want to play more but difficult as I need to be on Zoom at same time. Made a video to demo a stitching technique. Showed it to friends but no dialogue heard by friends only the video. I had to listen to my own commentary and paraphrase at same time. This was hard work for me. I am still trying to find out what went wrong. No worries with the video aspect.

I have had my hue camera for four months. My sound cuts out when teaching live lessons…whenever I adjust the camera my mic stops working and the camera stops working. This fault needs to be fixed and I think it is linked to the removable camera, perhaps it would be a good idea to design a model with a camera fixed to the base to reduce faults like this? When this camera works it is excellent, blurry at times but does the job at a low cost.

Great quality product. A very practical resource when teaching my lessons. Easy to use.
Excellent purchase
Very happy with this camera, I considered other options that were much more expensive but very glad I bought this one. I need it for piano classes and it just does the job. Very easy to adjust so it covers all the piano keys by simply bending the neck of the camera or extending it. Good quality image and sound and a couple of helpful features like image rotation and easy view change option so you can either use the Hue camera showing the piano or change to pc camera to show you when you are talking.

Invaluable Remote Learning Resource
As a teacher, I have found these invaluable for producing remote learning videos. They make it very straightforward to model work on screen. I have also used mine a lot in the classroom – I find it much easier to model into books with live display on interactive whiteboard than to use a traditional whiteboard.
As IT co-ordinator I have purchased cameras for my school’s whole staff for use during lockdown. We have encountered maintenance issues with a couple of them (one not recognised by multiple machines, one USB mount that became loose), but HUE customer services have been quick at providing replacements.

For doing on line teaching its good enough for the job. Used it over a couple of months the only complain would be if you knock the usb slighly your picture connection goes off.

Zuerst die positiven Seiten: Ich nutze die Kamera fast tglich fr meinen Unterricht und mchte sie auch nicht mehr missen. Fr meine Zwecke ist sie ausreichend, da es nicht so schlimm ist, wenn das Bild nicht 100% scharf ist.
Mit der Download-Software kann ich die Kamera dort hinstellen, wo sie mich am wenigstens strt, da ich das Bild spiegeln und flippen kann.
Nun zu den Kritikpunkten:
Ich muss mit dem Einstellrad sehr oft nachstellen, damit das Bild nicht verschwimmt – an den Rndern bleibt es immer etwas unscharf.
Ich habe vor einem Monat 80 fr die Kamera bezahlt und bin damit zufrieden. Die Qualitt ist nicht top, aber richtig gute Vergleichsprodukte kosten halt auch ungleich mehr. Mittlerweile kostet die Kamera 109 – fr den Preis wrd ich’s mir berlegen.

Nella confezione ci sono la telecamera, la base di appoggio che contiene anche la presa miniusb, il cavo miniusb-usb e le istruzioni. La telecamera viene subito vista e riconosciuta dal pc (io ho windows 10, dovrebbe funzionare tutto da windows 7) per se volete avere il programma specifico dovete andare nel sito HUE e seguire le istruzioni per scaricare il software con le funzioni di: registra un video, scatta una foto, modifica una foto fatta, scansiona, ecc. Io la uso per la DAD e mi consente di inquadrare un foglio sul quale sto scrivendo/disegnando con buona qualit video. C’ ovviamente un po’ di latenza ma non cos significativa, gli alunni non ne hanno percezione. In sintesi un buon prodotto.

C’est assez gnant, car on la heurte sans cesse, tant donn qu’elle est dans le champ d’action du bras. C’est juste un petit dtail, mais qui exaspre la longue.

I love this camera. Used it for everyday Zoom meeting during lockdown. Can be used to display documents but also just as an ordinary external webcam.
Cuando la camara lleg tena un problema de audio. Pensaba devolver el producto a travs de Amazon, pero al ser agosto, la mayora de puntos de devolucin estaban cerrados o se iban de vacaciones. Al final me puse en contacto con atencin al cliente de HUE y me solucionaron el problema rpidamente y sin ninguna pega.
Pongo las cinco estrellas a pesar de que el producto vino con ese problema por el excelente servicio postventa que he recibido de la marca HUE. Muchas gracias por todo.
Cuando la camara lleg tena un problema de audio. Pensaba devolver el producto a travs de Amazon, pero al ser agosto, la mayora de puntos de devolucin estaban cerrados o se iban de vacaciones. Al final me puse en contacto con atencin al cliente de HUE y me solucionaron el problema rpidamente y sin ninguna pega.
Pongo las cinco estrellas a pesar de que el producto vino con ese problema por el excelente servicio postventa que he recibido de la marca HUE. Muchas gracias por todo.

Great document camera for online tuitio
I have bought a few of these cameras for my students for online tuition and they are really helpful as they can live stream work so that feed back can be given straight away and any misconceptions can be clarified. The cameras work well on systems which meet the system requirements and the technical support team are very helpful if you need a hand.

Good little work horse
Been using this for on line lessons, zoom, teams and YouTube videos. I just use the Win10 camera app or screen o matic. Contrast changes between apps, microphone fine
I LOVE This camera but when recording videos for my students, the sound is WAY too low, it would be great in a classroom where my students could hear me talk, not for what I had intended it for! (Holding the camera above the book pages as I used my finger to visually display my finger jumping from word to word, then posting the video online- I couldn't hear myself well even when I spoke really loud)
