Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer 11-in-1 Electric Multi-Cooker, 5.7L – Air Fryer, Slow Cooker, Steamer, Sous Vide Machine, Dehydrator with Grill, Food Warmer & Baking Functions
Good buy. Saves energy. Good purchase. Got one with superficial damage at reduced cost. In reality only the box was a little damaged but not the product.
Excellent for 2/3 people. Saves energy not using the main oven. I cooked a chicken in a little over 30 mins, used the Air Fryer function the most. Also pressure cooker for stock etc.
so far happy with purchase. Lots of recipes on line on Pinterest etc.
Love i We used it basically everyday since it came! Air fryer cauliflower fab, chips fab, pressure cooking beef stroganoff fab, pressure cook pulled chicken (from frozen as well as thawed) fab. shaksuka fab and pressure cooked chilli and bolognese for speed fab! Still to try rice and a couple of other bits but really happy with the purchase.
Absolutely love it, best money spent in a while. Very easy to use, very versatile and the food tastes awesome. I use my own recipes roast potatoes in 20 mins how good is that!!
Excellent all in one electric pot and oven. his item in particular is excellent as you can do virtually anything in it, and it’s easy to move around.
it takes time to get used to but is a big help.
the air fryer / oven fits 8″ round tin. drawback is it would only properly fry / bake one tray at a time and not much quicker than a regular fan oven.
generally about pressure cookers it’s good to know, that – yes it’s a real time saver, but is not always as fast as it seems, i.e. if you calculate the heating up time for e.g. cooked apples and the cooling down time, it adds up.
Love this! This is a great product, I use it most days. I hardly ever put my main oven on now as I can cook most things in this., so saving energy and money.
Excellent! Love this appliance, but wish the manufacturers had supplied a paper cookery book covering all the programmes rather than expecting customers having to search online for information.
Superb Bit of a pain to clean, and a bit too quick with the ‘burn food’ alarms on occasion, but overall what a great piece of kit! Pretty much use it for everything except fried eggs and pizza now.
I just don't know... It feels like trial and error using this so be prepared for the possibility of over/under cooked food.
I’ve only used the pressure cooker and air fryer modes on this so far, but I will evaluate them now:
The pressure cooker function is amazing, and although I was really confused with how the timer function first works, I’ve finally started to understand it all more now. The timer starts once pressure is up, so don’t set it thinking that it’s total time. Adjust accordingly.
As for other functions: I’ve found that the air frying is nothing like my sole purpose air fryer. It’s more like the old turbo ovens and seems to toast the top layer more than blowing it around all sides. Maybe this is just in comparison with my personal experiences though and others will enjoy it. It does actually alert you to turn the items around half way through the timer, so they’ve noticed and added for that.
Cleaning is really easy! All the internal parts get dishwasher and I hand wash the main steel pot. Nothing has gotten cooked on yet and been unremovable either. Good quality materials all around.
The burn sensor for the pressure cooker also isn’t great. I decided to do a curry and it ended up stuck to the bottom, but because it was pressured, there was still sufficient water in there for it not to trip.
Other things that annoy me are the lack of a device for pulling out the steaming basket when it’s been used. Instead, you have to rely on ingenuity from yourself so you don’t scold yourself getting the shelf and basket out of the pot. A simple, removable, plastic handle/device would have completed my enjoyment of this product. The hot stand is also a bit of a joke for me. It has to be lined up perfectly to act as a lid for the air fryer but even then it just falls off randomly when being picked up. The drip container is also located at the rear of the unit – really awkward to be honest. I hope they revise that in later models.
Also be cautious of the height of this product. If you have wall mounted cupboards above all of your surfaces, it might not be for you. I bought the larger litre model and it’s so difficult to remove the pressure lid without getting water everywhere because I have to lift and move it to the side, rather than instantly tipping it back into the pot.
Overall, I would recommend. But there are some issues.
Best kitchen device eve We are over the moon with purchase! It cooks to perfection, meat and fish are crispy but succulent at the sage time! Food cooked is full of flavour in no time! Easy to clean. Best buy eve
Wonderful appliance I initially bought the instant pot to cook pulses and dals, and thought I might as well get the air fryer version to try it out, and I am delighted. This has become my favourite appliance, not only is it great for its intended purpose of very effective pressure cooking, its speed and versatility means it has replaced a lot of alternative methods for everyday foods, and I’m using it for everything from toast to boiled eggs. For a while my hob wasn’t working and I barely noticed as I could use the instant pot for everything I needed to do. I got it in an Amazon sale for 119 and that seems like a fantastic bargain to me as I have used it so much.
Almost perfec Great unit, really does almost everything, only down side is have 2 lids, had they found a way to combine the functionality in one lid it would be perfect. Excellent as a pressure cooker and air frye
Very versatile bit of kit . Very versatile bit of kit , have used most days since it was delivered .
From roasts to pasta bakes , chips to casseroles it’s been great .
Wish I’d bought one before now .
Excellent piece of kit, cuts cooking time in half especially for indian style cooking Simple to use, easy to clean, most internal fitments are dishwasher safe
Greast pressure cooker, but the air fryer basket is small I was looking at pressure cookers, but I was also tempted to get an air fryer too. We just don’t have the space to store two units, so I was very interested in this unit. Fortunately is was on a special offer, meaning that it was cheaper than buying my preferred separate pressure cooker and air fryer units.
I’m happy with my choice with the small reservation (hence 4 stars) about the size of the air fryer basket. you can air fry without the basket meaning the space available is larger, but there’s nowhere for the juices to drip away during cooking.
As my primary usage of this will be for pressure cooking, I can live with this.
In the few days we’ve had it, I’ve done a whole 2Kg chicken (28 mins pressure + 10 mins to crisp up with the air fryer lid) and it was superb, well cooked moist meat with crispy skin. Pork loin chops in the air fryer weren’t quite as successful, I think I did them for too long as they were a bit dry, but it was the first time I’d used an air fryer. Some time thie week I’ll be trying oven chips for the first time, hopefully they’ll come out better than the hit and miss results I get using the fan oven.
The air fryer lid is quite big, but fortunately it just about fits in the cupboard space we freed up for the unit.
Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and am looking forward to experimenting to find out what it can and can’t do well. It certainly should save a few pennies on the electricity bill as it cooks quicker than the oven and uses less than half the power even at full chat!
Great product! Very easy to use. Cleared a lot of my limited counter surface. Steamer, air fryer, pressure cooker and rice cooker all gone from my counter top. I finally have space for some new kitchen gadgets.
Don’t know why I didn’t get one soone An incredible piece of equipment , originally bought for pressure cooker and maybe the air fry function ( although suspected this was a gimmick !)
The air fryer is fantastic but we also use it for slow cooking, baking , making yoghurt and the sous vide feature makes it worth the money alone – 24 hour sous vide short ribs browned in the air fryer are just amazing , tender enough to cut with a spoon and still rare ( or however you like it just adjust the sous vide temperature)
Easy to clean and does loads more than the preset 11 functions – although setting the time and temp can be a bit fiddly .
I like it so much we bought a second one !
Can do all the things It’s a great piece of kit with many many functions. I particularly love the sauting function that my old slow cooker doesn’t have. It is very bulky and heavy though so make sure you have the space to store it.
I'm just happy to fry food I cannot use my oven at night as I have to use a voltage converter to use my oven. The voltage converter is heavy on the home electrical system at night. That’s why I bought it right away for for night time if I want to fry fries etc..
I used it once for cook normal food with a pressure cooker, of course, it sticks to container made of steel because there is no Teflon.I just use it for frying. I’m just happy to fry food it is enough for me..If the potato is frozen, it is enough to fry for 15 minutes, but sometimes it may not take even 15 minutes, so you have to open the lid and check.Every time you fry, you have to open the lid and check if it’s fried enough.
Fantastic I have owned instant pot before so am familiar with the performance of this. However the addition of the air fryer lid this is an even better product.
There are various functions with this pot and it is very versatile. I have used oven as food cooks very quickly in the air fryer. I used the Instant pot to cooknl various meals. Much better economically.
Pleased with instant pot + crisp Happy with my new IP + crisp have already got an instant pot but wanted an air fryer.
Have tested it out and so far it grea
Marvellous and sophisticated When you get it, you’ll probably stop using any other device for making food, except, maybe, an omelette (although, I haven’t tried to bake that one yet). So far I have only used pressure cooking, souse vide, and air fry functions, but I am truly impress with the results. And, oh yes, it is so easy to clean!
Loooove i Expensive but great. totally replaced out hob.
Very useful and versatile.
Does what promised by desription very well.
Drawbacks…. need to learn new way of cooking. Can’t just follow instructions on packaging when cooking rice for example as it cooks much quicker. Easy enough to look up instant pot recipes online though.
Not quite large enough for family of 6.
Would be good for 4 people I suspect.
Instant Pot Multi cooke So far so good.only used 3 functions so far but all worked really well. Very easy to clean and worth buying the larger capacity multi-cooker for family meals
A boon in the kitche This device is revelation to one who used the older types of pressure cookers. As a senior citizen I have found it simple and safe to use. There are a multitude of recipes available and the display panel easy to navigate. It cuts the cooking time dramatically and meat is always tender and mouth watering . My only concern is cleaning the air fryer lid. The instant pot is a substantial piece of equipment which I leave on my work surface .I am pleased with my purchase and would encourage anyone who is nervous of using a multi cooker to give it a try .
So good I bought it twice What a fantastic product,
I cook almost exclusively in the instant-pot now, so much that I bought a second one in order to cook various things at the same time.
Everything from pressure cooked ‘boiled’ eggs, sous-vide steak, slow cooked venison haunch, risotto, full english breakfast – I haven’t had a failure yet.
Easy to use, easy to clean and everything about the instant pot ‘feels’ quality.
There is a lack of instruction in the box for some of the functions but there are plenty of youtube videos and written recipes out there to experiment with.
If you’re on the fence about buying one of these…. do it, it will change the way you cook.
Fantastic produc I am so pleased with this product. Absolutely fantastic. So far everything that I have wanted to cook in it has turned out really well. Especially the rare beef. I would certainly recommend this.
Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodie I bought my Ninja Foodie OP300 about a year ago. It sits in my holiday home and is fantastic. Guests love it. So I wanted something similar for the main home. The other name in this market is this Instant Pot. At full price they both come in around 180 but both have highly volatile fluctuations. I watched both and the Instant Pot dropped to 119 so I went for it.
By default I use air frying more than anything else so they normally live with that lid attached.
Both are bigger and heavier than you imagine. I would say the Ninja is wider and the IP is taller. The Ninja lid pivots left so you need even more counter space. The IP lid lifts off so you need somewhere to put it when hot but where is up to you. The pressure cook lid on the IP is smaller and easier to store than The Ninja one.
The basic pots theoretically are the same 5.7 litres. But the Ninja is wider but less deep. That makes it more flexible for accommodating cooking dishes. I can get an 8″ cake tin into the IP pot but I can’t get it out easily when hot. I burned myself on the pot on its first outing which has never happened with the Ninja. For cooking direct in the pot, e.g a slow cook, there’s no difference.
For cooking in the inner air frying basket the Ninja is noticeably bigger. Food spreads out more so cooks more evenly. The IP is deeper and has an insert so you can split the food. I suspect you can cook the same amount of food but in a double decker arrangement in the IP.
Clean-up. The Ninja had a ceramic non-stick coating on the main pot. Nothing had stuck in a year of use – magic. The IP is stainless steel. Keeping it as shiny and scratch free as new is going to be impossible.
When it comes to controls they are both pretty easy to use. The Ninja seems to be slightly better quality. The IP has finer control over temperature and more modes but honestly I’m not going to use much other than fry, bake, slow cook, pressure cook.
The instructions are poor for both but there are online videos to help. I do resent paying for a recipe book on top of the amount these devices cost.
Overall if space is an issue, if you are keen to use obscure modes, and if price is a key factor, wait and watch until the IP goes sub-120 and order that one. The Ninja low price is around 150. You need more space on the worktop and for lid storage. But clean up is easier and using other baking containers is simple. I prefer it but whether that preference is worth an extra 30 I don’t know. They are both great kitchen gadgets that for some will render a conventional oven superfluous. I wouldn’t be without one frankly.
does what it says on the tin! From beef rendang to korean chicken wings, whole roasts, hams, and the best chips ever. This is much more than a gadget. Haven’t even used some of the functions yet, but separate slow cooker, pressure cooker and any type of fryer are now redundant!
Brilliant purchase Bought this as a present for my son and he is loving it. He has made some fabulous meals and is a great fan of the pressure cooker. He is considering buying another to use simultaneously. Excellent, roast chicken, crispy chips and fluffy rice as well as pressure cooking from fresh and frozen. He does not see a reason to dislike nor a reason to use a conventional oven. Top marks
This has revolutionised our meals I’ve never liked cooking, but we came to a decision that we needed to improve our eating habits – less takaways/ready meals. So we bought this as a present for ourselves for the new year. It didn’t take long to get to grips with it, despite the limited manual, but there is a lot of information available on the internet with various blogs, You Tube and Facebook groups devoted to Instant Pot, so it is easy to find the information you need. I have suddenly gone from being an unconfident and reluctant cook to being a gastronomic enthusiast, with nearly every meal being a work of art and delicious. Yes, there have been a few occasions when things haven’t gone as planned, but these are now few and far between. It has also enabled us both to plan our meals together, discuss recipes we want to try, find ways to convert conventional recipes for use in the Instant Pot and enjoy the results. I have now passed on my 40 year old pressure cooker, which was rarely used as it scared the life out of me, and can pressure cook away with no concerns. I’ve slow cooked, sauted and steamed, and discovered the joys of air frying, roasting and grilling in the one unit. I will never use a frying pan for sausages ever again when they can be cooked all round in one go, without the grease and spatter with occasional burns the conventional way. Delicious Mac and Cheese in 30 minutes from thinking about it to table. What’s not to like? Roast chicken, no problem. I haven’t tried the sous vide function yet, but that will come in time. Is it worth it? Definitely, especially if you have a busy life with not much time for cooking proper meals. We are both feeling so much healthier, and have actually lost weight from eating better, more wholesome home cooked meals, and we have a sense of adventure in what can we cook next, and with so many recipes available on line, there is no excuse for not experimenting.
From the practical aspect, the unit is heavy (we have the 5.7L version), and you need space around it when cooking to allow for air flow and also steam release when using the pressure cooking function. As you start to use it more, you also discover that you may need additional accessories, such as the separate glass lid for slow cooking, a separate steamer basket and so on, but none of these are necessary, just more convenient and it depends on what you want to use it for. There is a certain amount of maintenance needed after each use, such as cleaning the lid and checking that the valves for pressure cooking are clean and not blocked, washing and drying the lid’s silicone ring etc, but nothing too onerous. The lid can be put in the dishwasher, but I have preferred to wash and dry this by hand. The inner, stainless steel pot is easy to clean, and anything that may have stuck just needs a bit of a soak, and the same applies to the air fry basket.
For anyone thinking about buying one of these, and are concerned about the expense, yes it is an expensive outlay, but so worth it for the results. We use it on an almost daily basis, and because we are buying fresh food, not ready meals or takeaways, our shopping bill is also cheaper. The time saved in preparing and cooking meals means that we can enjoy meals in half the time it used to take, leaving us with some well needed downtime to relax after a hard day’s work. Highly recommended.
Best Thing I've ever bough Since buying the Instant Pot I have stopped using my stove. This is a game changer. I never review products, but this is something that I now cannot live without. I am really happy about buying this and cannot recommend it enough.
Love this! I have had an instant pot for a while but decided to buy this duo crisp with air fryer lid so that I didn’t need a separate air fryer. I absolutely love it. I’m very familiar with the pressure cook functions but the addition of the air fryer lid makes it so versatile and easy to use. I got the 6 litre pot as I normally cook for 2 people and only have limited space, but there is a bigger 8litre one for those who have more space or more people to cook for. Highly recommend.

Best investment eve Delighted with this product. I have used an Instant Pot pressure cooker before and I was a bit skeptical about the air frier, but it has proven to be brilliant. Quick and healthy dinners are well worth the money spent, and easy cleaning in a dishwasher is just a cherry on top!
Quick healthy meals Once you get use to using the pressure cooker side of the instant pot meals are quick and easy to prepare and cook. I haven’t used the air fryer lid yet but am looking forward to trying this.
This has changed the way I cook. I love this machine from cooking a huge pot of pasta or rice in 3 minutes to air frying chicken and vegetables and making my own beef jerky. Barely use my oven anymore would highly recommend it.
Top tip
If you accidentally cook rice too long and it sticks to the bottom of the pot just take everything you can out and put the pot back in and use the air fryer for a few minutes it crisps up and takes seconds to clean rather than to try to scrub the stuck rice off.
Great chips This machine is excellent & whilst I am only just scratching the surface of what it can do – I wouldn’t be without it. For a start you have never tasted such amazingly cooked chips. I use store bought McCain & they are golden brown, crispy on the outside & fluffy inside. I have never tasted chips like them. I also cooked a fresh chicken in 55 minutes & it was crispy skinned but not at all greasy. I have cooked pork with amazing crackling & used the slow cook for a pork & cider casserole. This ‘Instant Pot’ has many cook functions that I am still to use so much to look forward to. It has two different lids to suit whatever function you are in & even a circular rest pad to place either lid on after use to cool down. I bought mine for 90 odd on ‘Black Friday’ & haven’t looked back. It is perfect for 2 people but can cook joints & casseroles for more. There are plenty of menus on YouTube so what are you waiting for – get ordering & start your new ‘Instant Pot’ life!

Excellent Instant Po The instant pot introduces new and quick ways to cook a wide variety of foods and dishes. We are still learning how to be best use it and with You tube and internet sites we are getting a few really good recipes. We are still on the basics but cooking things like chicken, ham joints and all types of casseroles is quick easy and so tasty. I now cant imagine cooking a gammon joint any other way. Cant wait to try curries and some sweets. Fully recommended

Instant Po I watched videos of people cooking different types of food on utube to give me confidence.
I just then went for it and cooked all sorts. I love it and use it all the time. It’s especially good for air frying
fish. I used the pressure cooker to cook my joint of ham for Xmas. Brilliant plus I had this amazing stock which I made the gravy with and have some stored in the freezer. Both the air fryer and pressure cooker are so easy to use. I always used pressure cookers years ago and they can be scary but not this one. What a joy to use. You can’t go wrong.
I honestly could use it to cook everything in. My pot is only big enough to air fry for 2 people. (5.7 litres) I haven’t tried layering food.
It doesn’t replace a slow cooker though
I have never loved a small appliance more Phenomenal. Was gonna buy an air fryer since we already had an instapot but I went with this and have zero regrets. Having 2 instapots with one that can act as an air fryer has made my kitchen life even more efficient and I can cook a variety of things that all finish at the same time. Why wife has never been happier to eat at home
Best ever kitchen gadge Well what can I say this is just the most amazing piece of kitchen gadget that I have ever used in my life I have just cooked a joint pork large chicken veg potatoes and roast potatoes in it perfect cracking so crispy and I only used my cooker for the Yorkshire puddings and it has used more than half the electricity it will pay for itself this year fabulous I really recommend this
Everyone needs one of these I was sceptical as I am vegan and wasn’t sure how much I would cook in this pot. I had an air fryer and loved it. So when it was knackered I wanted to replace it. I saw an add for this instant pot and it is the best thing. I have made loads of recipes . Saves lots of pots and the food tastes great. I now pressure cook steam slow cook. All at the touch of a button. You can adjust the temperature at the touch of a button.

Great produc
I bought it few weeks ago and actually changed my days. I had the chance to save time and eating healthier food. Super recommended
Best thing I've ever bought!
Hardly used my oven since. There’s only 2 of us so it’s the right size too.
Can do all the things
It’s a great piece of kit with many many functions. I particularly love the sauting function that my old slow cooker doesn’t have. It is very bulky and heavy though so make sure you have the space to store it.
Awesome
Who needs a Cooker when u have one of these
I'm just happy to fry food
I cannot use my oven at night as I have to use a voltage converter to use my oven.
Easy to use compact and good value
Very pleased with this product. Good value for money easy to use
Fantastic
I have owned instant pot before so am familiar with the performance of this. However the addition of the air fryer lid this is an even better product.
There are various functions with this pot and it is very versatile. I have used oven as food cooks very quickly in the air fryer. I used the Instant pot to cooknl various meals. Much better economically.
Pleased with instant pot + crisp
Happy with my new IP + crisp have already got an instant pot but wanted an air fryer.
Have tested it out and so far it grea
Marvellous and sophisticated
When you get it, you’ll probably stop using any other device for making food, except, maybe, an omelette (although, I haven’t tried to bake that one yet). So far I have only used pressure cooking, souse vide, and air fry functions, but I am truly impress with the results. And, oh yes, it is so easy to clean!
Fantastic
We use the lovely duo pot almost everyday! Like use the air fryer function which save energy than oven when you roast half a chicken.
Loooove i
Expensive but great. totally replaced out hob.
Recommended.
Instant Pot Multi cooke
So far so good.only used 3 functions so far but all worked really well. Very easy to clean and worth buying the larger capacity multi-cooker for family meals
A boon in the kitche
This device is revelation to one who used the older types of pressure cookers.
So good I bought it twice
What a fantastic product,
I cook almost exclusively in the instant-pot now, so much that I bought a second one in order to cook various things at the same time.
Fantastic produc
I am so pleased with this product. Absolutely fantastic. So far everything that I have wanted to cook in it has turned out really well. Especially the rare beef. I would certainly recommend this.
I bought my Ninja Foodie OP300 about a year ago.
Brilliant purchase
Bought this as a present for my son and he is loving it. Top marks
Fabulous cooke
My only niggle is the limited instructions. I am fed up with being given a very basic set and told to go online for full instructions.
This has revolutionised our meals
I’ve never liked cooking, but we came to a decision that we needed to improve our eating habits – less takaways/ready meals.
Instant po
Just getting my head around so still not used a lot ye
Best Thing I've ever bough
Since buying the Instant Pot I have stopped using my stove. This is a game changer. I never review products, but this is something that I now cannot live without. I am really happy about buying this and cannot recommend it enough.
OK
Pressure cooker is excellent.Air fryer is ok .Not hugely impressed by slow cooker.
Pretty expensive.
Ok on the whole
The air frier part isn’t the best, doesn’t work as well as I thought. Otherwise not bad

Best investment eve
Delighted with this product. I have used an Instant Pot pressure cooker before and I was a bit skeptical about the air frier, but it has proven to be brilliant. Quick and healthy dinners are well worth the money spent, and easy cleaning in a dishwasher is just a cherry on top!
Quick healthy meals
Once you get use to using the pressure cooker side of the instant pot meals are quick and easy to prepare and cook. I haven’t used the air fryer lid yet but am looking forward to trying this.
Easy to use
I like that it is easy to use but don’t like how bulky the lids are. Works well howeve
Great chips
This machine is excellent & whilst I am only just scratching the surface of what it can do – I wouldn’t be without it.

Excellent Instant Po
The instant pot introduces new and quick ways to cook a wide variety of foods and dishes.

Instant Po
I watched videos of people cooking different types of food on utube to give me confidence.
I have never loved a small appliance more
Phenomenal. Was gonna buy an air fryer since we already had an instapot but I went with this and have zero regrets. Having 2 instapots with one that can act as an air fryer has made my kitchen life even more efficient and I can cook a variety of things that all finish at the same time. Why wife has never been happier to eat at home
A bit more fidley than the older versions
It certainly does a lot. Brilliant if you have a small galley kitchen and workforce space is at a premium.
Best ever kitchen gadge
Well what can I say this is just the most amazing piece of kitchen gadget that I have ever used in my life I have just cooked a joint pork large chicken veg potatoes and roast potatoes in it perfect cracking so crispy and I only used my cooker for the Yorkshire puddings and it has used more than half the electricity it will pay for itself this year fabulous I really recommend this
Everyone needs one of these
I was sceptical as I am vegan and wasn’t sure how much I would cook in this pot.
