    love it!
i was using the older model before at my friend’s place when i lived there. I decided to buy myself one now Ive moved out and decided to go for the upgraded version.. can’t fault it at all! There’s more function for cooking different things.
If the air fryer version had look nicer in design, I would had bought that.

    Super fast but delicious meals
I just love this IP. I bought it after trying and returning the Ninja OP550UK which I didn’t like at all. The Duo Evo is so simple to understand and it just works, every time. Macaroni Cheese in 4 mins! Just throw everything in and stir. Chilli in 6 minutes! Absolute gem of a thing and beautiful too. I love that the inner pot has handles and can also go on the stove top, not that I would but good that it can. The steam release valve is great on this too as is the large, easy to read display. I just love everything about it. So easy to clean and no non-stick coating, so it’s much more durable. Loads of great recipes available too. This is the easiest gadget I’ve used. Power saving will be enormous. I haven’t used my oven for around 6 weeks and my hob only once. Between this and the Ninja XL Grill my bills will be much lower. I’ve seen a drop already.

Wow - easy to use, makes great food, easy to clea
We replaced a non-brand slow cooker that we used to death.

This isn’t much more expensive but it is in a different league of ease of use and quality of outcome.

I’ll be honest we haven’t used most features yet, just slow cook and pressure cook but wow it’s very easy and very consistent.

There are plenty of recipes on the web specifically for this unit, all I will say is that it’s so simple it doesn’t need instructions. There are tricks and particular ways to get a good result but every time so far it’s been a really nice surprise. I’ve even had a play and kicked around with custom settings etc. This didn’t create anything better but the food was still decently cooked.

The way it opens and the serving pot comes out is a godsend after heavy crockpots and it is really easy to clean.

Can’t wait to try sous vide, the cooking parts for which cost more than this item

Best Buy for quite some time.

    Why didn't I get one year's ago?
Wonderful, we are vegetarian and I wasn’t sure we would use this – it cooks beans, lentils etc in a fraction of the time. Buy an instant pot cook book or search on line to get the best use.
So easy to clean. If mine broke I would have to replace!

I absolutely love our smart pot, it is so easy to use and offers so many cooking options. I love the “keep warm” mode. The pressure cooker mode is great. Very happy with my purchase.

    Magic pressure cooke
This pressure cooker is so much relief. One of my best buys.
Food comes out so nice. Reduced cooking time by three quarters.
Must buy kitchen appliance. Every kitchen needs it.

    Easy to cook
So far my wife liked it as per her she can cook few items at a time. It’s only been two weeks. Will update the full review later.

Update after two weeks: Ahh we should have got this few years ago. After trying so many pressure cookers this is the best one as per my wife. She says she can cook everything very quickly without messy like our old pressure cooker. Absolutely she’s in love with it and enjoying the cooking.

A great kitchen addition, used most days.
I purchased this from Amazon as a gift for my partner for Christmas, he loved it and we have used it pretty much every day since! The saut function, pressure cook, slow cook and keep warm functions Are all easy to use. From Curries, pasta sauces, soup and pot roasts, you won’t be disappointed

Dont assume 10 in 1 means master of none
I bought this to replace an ageing slow cooker and as a slow cooker its fine. The saute function means you can brown meat in the unit and go straight on the slow-cooking so no other pans or hob to clean. Add in the ability to pressure cook and the time is reduced so you can make the decision to cook late afternoon and still have the dish for your evening meal…..
But theres more, because of these functions, it can be used for lots of “dump and go ” meals that take some time on the hob/oven but now are quick and easy – great risotto’s without the wrist workout, think stew/soups, chilli’s etc easy…
There are other functions , and there are those people who strive to make it do everything, but for just a “supercharged” slow cooker and lazy “bowl” meals, its worth the money alone – a great tool in the armoury.

Really good product, so easy to clean, fast delivery
I’m so glad I chose this brand and model, after a lot of research. Saves a lot of washing up for a start! Brilliant product. At first I wasn’t sure about getting the stainless steel inner bowl as other brands have non-stick – then read up on carcinogens in non-stick and the fact the life of the bowl is much more limited than stainless steel. Good choice, as it is so easy to clean, allows the juices to brown without sticking and can be transferred to the hob. We are really enjoying this buy.

Love it - upgrade on the basic model
I got this just to upgrade the base model that I bought years ago. I love that model but it isn’t great to saut because it has a curved pot which spins around. In addition, the pot on this one has handles and can go on the hob (inc. induction).

This one doesn’t and it has a few other bells and whistles which are not live changing for me as really all I use this for is to saut and pressure cook, but they are nice to have.

If the price is right don’t hesitate to buy this. I got this when it was on offer.

    Compact Chef
This is a brilliant pot that does many things very well within fractions of the time it would take in standard cooking units. Saves energy which is a huge plus and no compromise on the taste and texture.
Straightforward to install, cleans easly – I’ve just washed it up manually over the sink – and the menu is very clear to operate.
Cooked soup in 35 minutes (pressure cooker function) that I’d normally make in 3.5 hours (boney broth with root vegetables). I will keep discovering it but wanted to give a quick feedback.

    Surprisingly good!
Our old stove-top pressure cooker was dying rapidly and sounding like an old steam train so we decided to upgrade to a self contained electric model.
This unit has been a revelation. The old one would hiss loudly and steam up the kitchen while it cooked. The I.P. cooker is almost silent and seems to keep the water just at the point of steaming but not actually doing so. No more noise and no more steamed up kitchen.
Simple twist and press settings make using it easy and the results are great. We have only used the Pressure cooker function although it will do various other cooking tasks as well. We are extremely pleased.

I had to search around to get me going without worrying with measure liquid etc.

Chose this one for the stainless steel pot and I love it!! Using it every day. So quick to make healthy meals, with no need to stay by the stove for hours. Having 2 kids under two, this pot it’s a life and time saver!!! Recomend it 100%.

    Really nice
It’s really good, I’ve got several digital pots and this one is really good. I used to have the Bosch Autocook Pro and this one has more functions, but the pot itself can get the food sticked, so watch out for that. Also it isn’t the best when you cook rice, the best ones for rice are the Asian ones

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersImpressively versatile and effective multi-cooke
I’d had an Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus since part-way through last year, and it quickly became one of my most regularly used kitchen gadgets: these things are so versatile and easy to use. Unfortunately, last week my much-loved Instant Pot was damaged after being dropped. The pot no longer seals properly. No reflection on the build quality of the Instant Pot: it landed on a cast iron door stop. While I was looking for a replacement, I spotted this new edition Instant Pot Pro and decided to treat myself to an upgrade. I’m pleased with my purchase so far.

In the box you get: The Instant Pot Pro machine, a liner pot with silicone grip handles, a power cord with a UK plug, a handled steamer insert, a second silicone sealing gasket (a semi-opaque one is preinstalled, a separate red one is included so that you can use one gasket for savoury, and the other for sweet dishes, to prevent any lingering odours from spoiling your food), a compact and easy to follow instruction manual. The machine isn’t quite black in colour, it’s more a deep metallic grey. The sides are ultra-shiny, and do show fingerprint smudges, though not perhaps as clearly as the lighter-coloured Duo Evo Plus.

The obvious, big feature of this is the electric pressure cooker, which allows dishes that normally take hours and require slow cooking to be rapidly boosted through in minutes. For this purpose, this is a wonderful gadget, though it takes a bit longer than the stated cooking times as there’s a bit of a wait for the machine to get up to pressure before cooking time begins, and you have to allow the pressure to release at the end of the cooking cycle. Pressure release can happen gradually, which takes about 10-15 minutes after the cooking cycle, or you can open a vent switch – which releases the pressure much quicker but still takes around 5 minutes.

The Instant Pot Pro is very similar in layout and functions to the Duo Evo Plus, and I was pleased to find that the handled liner pan from my old Instant Pot will fit this, so it’s not entirely wasted. This is really easy to clean too — as both pot and lid are dishwasher safe.

I definitely prefer the LED display screen on this machine to my old one: I find the contrast between the black background and bright white writing on this crisper and easier to read than the blue and white of the Duo Evo Plus.

The big difference in terms of controls between the two models is the addition on the Pro of programmable buttons to allow you to save up to 5 regularly used setting combinations by pressing and holding one of the ‘Favourite’ buttons for 3 seconds after setting up your cooking combination.

Otherwise, this was completely intuitive to use after my old machine (which itself was really easy to learn). I’ve already used this to cook sushi rice; pressure cook a casserole (using the saut function to seal and brown the meat first); and make a batch of yogurt to use up a couple of litres of excess milk. I really like the versatility of the Instant Pot — that it’s not only an effective and rapid pressure cooker, but that it also replaces a range of other gadgets/cooking types.

Easy clean. I’m in love with the slow cooker part. A whole chicken is so juicy and tender, 6 hours on low. Stews and beef joints cooked in pressure in 40mins. Simple and easy to clean and best thing I’ve ever bought. One pot for everything—AMAZING

A bit on the expensive side for what it does. Slow cooker works fine with meat. Tried legumes (chickpeas and beans) in pressure cooker and was really crunchy after 2 hours!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAwesome bit of ki
I got this as wanted a stainless steel pot as it is well known Teflon coating and other non-sticks can cause cancer.
I wanted this primarily to cook rice and the cheaper rice cookers all had none stick coatings so I went for this yes it was three times the price but what’s money when the cost is your health.
I tend to pressure cook the rice rather than rice setting for better results as I find the rice settings make it too mushy though times can be adjusted this way works well for me.
I won’t knock a star off as it does the job I bought it for.
I do find stews taste strange cooked this way through but then I simply use the inner steel pot and stick it on the hob to cook and the stainless steel pot can be cleaned with metal pads with no risk of the coating coming off as there is not one.
Hoping that Instant Pot makes an air fryer with stainless steel basket instead of the coating when they do I will add it to my collection till then I will wait for either them or another company to ditch coatings. This is a great product as it is.

Best thing you can buy for your kitche
I had the first old model for 5 years or so and I absolutely love Instant pot. If you buy one kitchen appliance this should be the one. This new model has added handles on the pot which makes things much easier. Not that I ever minded having the old one without handles. And the other improvement is the bottom of the pot is flat which makes sauting so much easier.
I am excited to try the few extra functions such as sous vide and yoghurt but so far it is brilliant as always!
By the way my old one is still working and in perfect working condition so now I have 2 to use

    Complex controls
The operation of the appliance is well automated once it is set up but the set up is complicated with little buttons with illegible labels and a knob for adjustments. It would have been easier without trying to link controls to types of recipes, e.g. soups.
I bought it to replace an old saucepan type pressure cooker with expensive spares which I found difficult to control on new electric hob and it does a better job.

I Love, love my instant pot. I throw everything into it, onions, garlic, meats and viola 20 mins later I have a lovely delicious stew. I’ve made a delicious dhal, I’ve cooked rice in it, sautd stuff. I love how you can just press the button and leave it to do the rest. The pressure cooker is so silent you actually think it’s doing nothing, until when the meat comes out so soft and tender, makes such a difference to the old and noisy pressure cookers.

Total game changer, makes cooking a delight!
I wish I had bought an Instant Pot years ago. I love how easy this instant pot evo duo plus 10 in 1 is. The inner pot is high quality stainless steel with silicone handles, it can be used on a stove top, easy to clean. The I P is easy to use, clean and food turns out delicious. Pretty silent and much safer to use in comparison to non electric pressure cookers. I love the large display screen and additional ice cooler, an extra buy, to cool down the pressure cooker when finished, if you want to cool it down without using the quick release button/switch and do not have time/or want to wait for a natural release of stream/natural cool down. This instant pot is well thought out, designed and made with quality. I would highly recommend it.
