Makes light work of keeping my shower clean. Easy to use. Charges easily but holds charge for ages. Suction is is good and the suction area wide enough to make light work of windows. Doesn’t leave smears and a novice can use.
Gets the job done with ease
I had stubborn lime scale on my shower glass doors, and filthy windows. What surprised me about this Karcher product was the face pace of which it removed debris and the crystal clean results it left. Wouldn’t be without it.

I’ve not had this item for more than a few weeks, and used quite a lot so far. It has been faultless to date. I only have other makes to compare to, this is my first krcher. Attachments easy to use, love the spray bottle with pad too. Great design idea, as it saves carrying around cloths and towels etc. The vacuum arrived with not much battery life in it, but I wasn’t expecting it to, just an info bite for others. Charged fine. The vacuum works great, no water left on the window, no streaks, all water collected in the tank. The tank was a worry at first as it took me a minute or two to figure out how to get it out, but a gentle nudge and it popped out. It’s not a heavy thing either, nice and easy to use.
So for a new gadget, I’m impressed. Only time will tell how it does the longer I have it.

I hate cleaning windows and have never mastered the art of using a squeegee.
This product is stand out amazing its helped me clean my windows to the highest standard today and I will be buying the karcher window cleaning solution too after using the free sample included.
Spray bottle leaks a little when not up right but this is not what I bought the window vac for.
My windows are sparkling today! The item has sat in a list to buy for ages wish I had bought it sooner. Unfortunately this is probably going to mean I cancel my window cleaner but in that sense it will pay for its self in no time.
I bought this to replace an earlier model. This one seems more powerful, and the battery life is excellent, easily doing my bungalow. I was unconvinced about the washing part, and it does leak a bit when tilted, but it is effective. The suction blades are made from a much softer mater Than earlier versions, making it far easier to get a seal and some up excess water. Very pleased.
So So Window Suckage
Brought to replace an old WV55 which the neck joint snapped on, and had been held together with glue for over a year.
This one has pro’s and cons. Battery life is excellent. Far superior to the old model. And can do every window in the house for a week and still have charge left!
The Water bottle capacity is also great. I can do the whole house and only have to empty it once. It also works better side on for short periods and doesn’t sputter like the old one used to.
The head squeegee unit also attaches much better. The last one snapped as the ‘catches’ were really weak.
The two down points however is that the suction is noticeably weaker than the old one. It works fine but you can tell if you try to suck up puddles.
Also the blades are much softer so you have to take a bit more care in positioning the head so as not to bend up the corners, as that seems to miss bits near the frame and it’s more prone to leave streaks.
Overall, an improvement, but it’s not perfect.
Great window Vac
We have small pane windows and have an old house with bad condensation and this really is excellent. The first one was broken in the box but it’s an excellent purchase so was happy to have a replaceme

I use this product to clean the shower after use. This is replacing an older shower vac which I prefer using as the new one is heavy and awkward to empty.
The blade makes a loud screeching noise on the shower walls
This was a replacement window vac after many years of use of our previous one. The new design seems better and the silicone scraper is much more effective. The only issue is the cleaning solution spray/wiper. The design is such that you don’t get a good grip on it and the spray doesn’t last very long as quite a bit remains in the container which you can’t spray. Also only one cleaning/wiping pad supplied which isn’t enough. Had to immediately buy more on Amazon. Would it have been difficult to at least include one more in the pack?
I bought this on offer as I was sick of cleaning conservatory windows with a bucket, squeegee and yards of kitchen roll. I was optimistic that this Window Vac would help but was blown away with the performance. Sparkling windows in less than half the time and used only one sheet of kitchen roll for a few remains drips on the sill. Easy to use, lightweight and a great run time (I used only 10% on 12 windows and 2 doors). I’ve since done the gloss kitchen cabinets, shower screen, bathroom tiles and wardrobe doors – it almost makes cleaning enjoyable! The main unit is easy to use and clean. The only downside was the spray bottle which was uncomfortable to use and leaked so I binned this and used an empty spray bottle and the pad which was much better. Overall this was a surprisingly effective product and I highly recommend it.
The variety of attachments, along with two main attachment sizes, stood out as a positive aspect from the start. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of a larger attachment which I use for the shower and a smaller one for windows (as shown in the picture).
Impressive battery life adds to the convenience of the tool, allowing for extended use between charge.

This gadget is fantastic and I wish I’d bought it years ago. It is very easy to use and has an excellent rechargeable battery life. It also has a smaller attachment for smaller windows.
You can use it for condensation on your windows at home or for your car or your shower doors.

This is brilliant! I have a full step in shower, tiled and sliding glass doors, so a lot of wiping surface after a shower. I absolutely love the satisfaction I get from this purchase. I charged it fully when it arrived and after 4 weeks it’s only down to 40% (showering most days). It’s lightweight (but not flimsy) to use, I can reach up fairly high (for a shorty) and this isn’t too heavy. It keeps suction even as you reach the bottom of the tiles, and it makes such a satisfying sound as the water gets sucked up! I also use it on the shower tray, and have mopped up spills in the kitchen and on the floor. My plan will be to use it on any surface that I can as I know it’s versatile enough for the job. Windows, mirrors and floors. All in all an excellent purchase, and it feels like it will last for a while to come. Really pleased.

After much investigation I opted for this Karcher model of window vacuum. It’s easy to use, not hard on the hand &is very efficient. Bought at a special price with the option of ‘easy payments’…very pleased.
Well Packaged
Idid fear the packaging and the condition of the product but I wasn’t disappointed.It arrived in quick time and was well boxed and packaged. My wife who hates any sort of cleaning whatsoever is as impressed as I am. Great cleaning power (I bought the extra solution) and leaves the windows looking crystal clear. I am impressed.
Sparkling
So I thought I was good at cleaning windows until I got this leaves glass sparkling I use it for a lot of other things ie mirrors oven door fronts large tiles in bathroom curved shower and even the plastic fitted ceiling came up perfect also glass in large pictures I would suggest buying a few extra micro fibre attachments. Also chemicals that is recommended
I have previously had 3-4 Karcher WV hand held units and they have all had problems with either their components, the battery, the design and although now an expert at refurbishing and repairing them i was at my wits end with my last but one unit, albeit the most reliable, started to breakdown and suffered from increasingly regular and intermittent failures. In a lot of pique I purchased the WV 6 which is a much improved design and manufacture. It appears to have also addressed the previous earlier battery problems, so far at least. I am delighted with its performance after almost 6 weeks and it feels this hand held unit has possibly come of age in terms of its reliability and performance which i always liked in terms of how effective it was at removing surface water.
Easy to use and….it works!!
I was a bit skeptic about this item but also I was desperate to find something to clean my giant floor to ceiling windows ! This thing has saved the day, I should have bought it years ago. Very easy to use, I bought the extra liquid (which is also great), just spray, pass the sponge and suck it all up! It is 90% streak free, you get something if u are not able to use the right angle but these streaks goes away v easily with a tiny cloth. Overall, it took me about 30 min to do what I used to do in 2/3 hours !!! And it also cleans all the tiles of my bathroom, mirrors (again, floor to ceiling mirrors on the doors of the wardrobe) and glasses around the house. LOVE IT

I have one of the old original Karcher window vacs and I thought that was good until I used this, the blades are so much softer than the old rubber ones and allow you to get right to the bottom off the windows. So far I don’t think there is anything negative about it except the price (I got mine when it was on offer) and it doesn’t seem to leave streaks or lines.
How did I manage without it.
We have a lot of windows & 30′ by 15′ conservatory, this has more than halved the time it takes to clean the lot & barely a smear in sight. I don’t even need to get the ladder out upstairs, as I can just lean out now.

There is nothing negative to say about my new favourite appliance. I’ve recommended it to so many people two of whom have already purchased their own. It has turned my least favourite task of window cleaning into a pleasure. It is so easy to use and the result is streak free windows. I’ve also used it with the same ease and success on my granite worktops, kitchen cupboard doors, shower screens and tiles. You better not stand still in my house or you may be Krchered!
Returned for refund
Whilst using this appliance the head detached on numerous occasions hence returned for a refund.
Was looking for a window vac as we have condensation issues in a house with 16 windows, plus doors so wanted a tool to save both time and do a thorough job.
Have to say that straight away I found this is a great time saver and whilst not perfect, the time and labour it saves makes it well worth the purchase. Firstly, to get our 16 windows and doors completely cleaned of condensation now takes about 10 minutes a day with this device.
Very simple to set up and use. Attach either the wide or narrow blade to the vac and off you go. The water container attached is very easy to remove and re-attach so once you have filled it with water, it only takes a quick moment to empty and start again.
It uses a rechargeable battery so no cables to worry about. it comes with an LED display so that you can see how much battery percentage you have left. For me, I would use about 10% of battery every day so normally would only charge once every week and a half.
Only downsides or areas of concern to highlight:
– You need to use a very specific technique (holding the karcher at the right angle) to make sure that it works correctly. You need to figure this out yourself through trial and error. otherwise you don’t connect correctly with the window and you don’t pick up all of the water and leave streaks.
– Also very tricky to use on the corners. As it is a large device it can struggle on this. I would suggest just having a cloth with you to wipe the spots you struggle with.
Overall, this is a great tool. Works swiftly on large flat surfaces and leaves very clean windows/glass. Very easy to get over 95% of the areas cleaned quickly so great device to get fast results!
We had to return the first one as it only came in the manufacturers original packaging, as a result there was a chip in the side of the water tank which would have meant it would leak in use.
The return process was easy and came quickly.
The device itself is easy to use despite looking a little complex at first, it has been excellent in sucking up the condensation from interior windows on cold mornings!, not sure if it is a design issue, but the head does seem to come away from the main body after each stroke across the window, almost as if it is not clipped in properly.
The battery seems to last quite a long time, and I look forward to making use of it in the summer months.
The body is of hard moulded plastic, so avoid dropping it at all costs as I don’t think it would prove to be very robust.
Quick and easy to use
I like that there is little or no mess as all the dirty water is sucked up into the tank, no dirty water running down the frames or onto the carpet. There’s a nack to getting the best results with the squeegee. I did all the windows inside and out on our bungalow in around an hour and it used only 23% of the battery charge. The cleaning mop and spray are quick and effective. Generally pleased with the purchase but it is quite expensive otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
Efficient well designed tool
I have found this device to be an absolute boon to collecting condensation from our paned windows. With the 2 different sized blades, it is versatile, the smaller blade is ideal to fit our panes. It is also very good for cleaning the shower screen after use, to keep scale residue to a minium. The battery has been very good, charged at end of December and still on 55 % after using every day. It is quite light weight, easy to manoeuvre. An all round great purchase, very pleased.
Work better than hoped fo
Apart from the wife damaging the water tank the rest of the machine is well built & works very well on glass & tiles
Size is a bit large for what it does and the water storage container is a bit small resulting in frequent stops to empty it.
The on/off button is conveniently placed to turn it on but quite often during its use you end up turning it off as your thumb naturally sits right where the button is.
The noise is perfectly acceptable.
It does suck up the water pretty well, which is lucky as that’s its job.
Overall pretty good.
The rubber squeegy on the end of the window vac is very noisy.
The rubber that removes the water from the glass is very noisy. It makes a loud squeeky noise. My previous karcher window vacs made no such noise. They may be using a different type of rubber.
Karcha window vac
Bought this to remove condensation on the ceiling glass panels in my garden room. It does work but becomes quickly overcome as excess water drips from the suction head . I think this unit needs tweaking to increase suction power and water removal if it can be used for heavy condensation.
This is a great time saver and while there are a couple of annoyances which prevent this being the one and only glass cleaning toolkit you need, the time and labour it saves makes it well worth the purchase. Cleaning patio doors and a large glass shower panel for example, using the Karcher window vac means I easily complete the job in a quarter of the time.
The basics are simple. Attach either the wide or narrow blade to the vac. Dilute some dish soap with water in the spray bottle, spray on the glass, use the attached cleaning pad to agitate, then use the window vac to suck up the cleaning solution, leaving a perfectly clean and crystal clear surface below.
That is my experience I’d say 90% of the time, which is enough to get the vast majority of large glass windows spotlessly clean.
Here are the minor downsides. Just to set expectations:
– The vac is very poor at sucking up the extreme edges of glass. You’ll need a good buffing cloth to go round the edges after.
– As above, you need a good steady technique to keep the vac blade completely flat and at the right angle or it’ll miss bits. You need to do whole lengths at once as lifting off will leave behind soap left on the blade and a longer tidy up job.
– Any dust or hairs that get on the blade will leave a streak behind so you need to wipe the blade often.
– If you end up with any dry spots, the vac blade will grab and make a horrendous screeching sound. You’re best off spritzing the window again after scrubbing to keep the surface moist.
– Minor gripe, but I’d prefer the cleaning pad and spray bottle to be separate. I keep catching the spray bottle while scrubbing the glass, the bottle top keeps coming loose and the bottle is too small so requires 2 or 3 refills to clean all downstairs windows.
The vast majority of the time this is excellent and incredibly satisfying to blitz through large windows, just have some quick flashing glass cleaner and a good buffing cloth to finish the minor details. It also does a very good job on flat horizontal surfaces, such as glass cooker tops, shower trays/large tiles etc. Although horizontally it can leak or give an error if you try to suck up too much liquid.
Great product so far, I’ve only had it a week cleaned 7 big windows inside and out so don’t know what’s it’s like after having for several months but very happy so far, don’t understand why the 1 star reviewers have said it leaves streaks it doesn’t if used properly, after every swipe down you just need to give the blade a quick wipe with your finger to remove any drips left then it’ll do a perfect job no smears, as long as you have of course given the window a good scrub over with the spray/wiper and have a strong enough solution of washing up liquid in the bottle it will leave them sparking clean.
The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is the head is quite difficult to lock into place, you have to push hard and poke the button hard at the same time to get it to clip in which isn’t easy if you don’t have a strong grip.

My window-cleaner having been unable to come into my converted barn to clean the inside of my windows during Covid, I decided to buy a window vac and do it myself. I hate cleaning windows and have a lot of them but the Karcher WV6 plus N made it almost fun: well, as fun as cleaning windows can ever be. I hadn’t had a window vac before so can’t compare models but the WV6 has been brilliant for shower doors, shower trays and tiles as well as windows. It has a huge battery offering 100 minutes of charge. I understand previous models vary in how long they can be charged for.
I was initially disappointed to discover that my appliance would not charge in a vertical position – only in a horizontal one. I emailed Karcher direct (as requested) and a new appliance was delivered and the faulty one taken away within 2 days. I was also sent a second new charger in case the charger was the problem. I really can’t fault Karcher’s service – or the product.
They really make life easy
I’ve been thinking about buying one of these for ages. A friend recommended them so I bought one. All of a sudden cleaning windows is no longer a chore. So quick and easy. I can’t wait for the windows to get dirty again!
Cleans with ease!!
This karcher window vac is really easy to use, suction is great and battery life is amazing, we used ours a number of times before having to consider recharging! The vac works on a number of surfaces, we mostly used on windows, mirrors, shower screens and tiles and the vac makes light work of cleaning these items, especially when the spray bottle kit. Would definitely recommend

Great product for leaving glass streak free and absolutely sparkling. I personally find a teaspoon full of dish washing liquid produces the best results. Check youtube for plenty of tips & reviews. I would have given it five stars if it had have been 20/30 cheaper.

Absolutely brilliant.
Got this being a bit sceptical but the difference it made to the windows and mirrors was very clear to see. The battery only used about twenty percent and we have quite a few windows. It was quicker and easier than the old manual way, in fact not a chore at all. Dont over wet the windows so its dripping all over and do bigger ones half at a time. Think after a few more cleans they will really sparkle and they are not so bad after the first time.

Easy to use
Excellent machine, well worth the upgrade. Not sure about the batterie yet , just started using it. It is expensive but then it’s Kaercher quality and customer care you can trust.

Change heads for different width of windows . Water tank smaller than previous model. It does leak but I think this is because it gets full quickly and then starts to spit. A learning process quickly learnt.
Good battery life
Very pleased with item. although there is the occasional ‘line’ on the conservatory windows, they look so much cleaner. Easy item to use, good cleaning fluid and I have used them on the shower cubicle and tiles. All look so good.

Great tool to use when cleaning the windows inside or outside. the quality of finish is excellent and reduces the time to clean the windows. Would recommend it for any house.
Experience is necessary to eliminate streaking.
The product was used for cleaning internal and external windows. I my experience the Karcher does not eliminate streaking in the finished product.
It is essential to have the two head version if all corners are to be reached.
Gadgets like the Karcher have a place in the market, but they are not the complete answer to window cleaning.

I chose this window vac because of the larger and better quality silicone suction lips, which, when used properly, will last much longer, than the standard rubber lips and therefore are a much better value for money.
The well manufactured push button trigger on the back of the product also doubles up as a battery charge indicator, which is not only easy to read, but also easy to understand.
Charging is reasonably quick, if one is not in a hurry.
Lithium batteries need time to charge, if not actively cooled, so the charging here is adequate to the design.
The body of the product is not too bulky and can easily be used by someone with smaller hands.
I use the product not only to clean windows, but also to remove condensation from some double glazing windows, where their insulating properties have failed, due to their age and condensation forms on them as a result.
This condensation is very easy to remove with said Window Vac and so, the removed moisture will therefore not permeate into your clothes and/or into your kitchen/bathroom units.

Whilst I wouldn’t go quite as far as saying it makes windows cleaning a joy, this certainly simplifies things and we get results as good as a professional windows cleaner use dot provide, at a fraction of the cost. Easily cleans a large 5 bed house with conservatory, inside and out on 2 charges.
Perfect For Small Pane English Windows
This fits the small panes if my old fashioned windows. The included 17cm small blade head is what made me choose this brand. It works perfectly and there is nothing to say as a negative. If I move too quickly then the suction seems not enough. But if I stick to a slow pace then it is perfect. The battery lasts a very very very long time. Perhaps the biggest benefit of this newest model. Thanks for reading.

Had a previous one that just never worked so we’re really happy with this purchase. Just moved onto an old property with single glazed windows that have dreadful condensation. This hoovers up the liquid beautifully, very pressed and the battery lasts for ages.

Makes cleaning windows less of a chore
The karcher window cleaners have been the only effective and easy way of cleaning windows for me. With two kids and a puppy, windows and patio doors take a beating and this makes keeping them looking good, much easier.
It does take a bit of trial and error to get the technique right but once you do – the windows will sparkle.
Replacement for basic Karcher, the small head with silicon lip is a big improveme
Definitely seems less streaky than our old Karcher, due to the silicon wiper. Still needs a cloth in your other hand to dry around the edges and to rub out any lines that do show. So much easier than cleaning with just a cloth.
One negative – the spray bottle for the cleaning liquid came with a nozzle fitting that was too small to attach to the wide necked bottle. Very odd – as it makes the bottle unusable.
Needs a bit of practice to get it right.
First time I’ve used a window vac and was pleased with the results. You do need a dry cloth to clean up the odd streak, but it does seem to work well.
What I do like is it’s not just the vac, it doesn come with a spray bottle and a thingummy for cleaning the windows before vacuuming them dry.
