This humidify is so easy to use and quiet. The tank lasts me 4-5+ hours when on the second setting. Glad I purchased.

I haven't used this due to having purchased another one! I recently plugged it in was working! After having it off and cleaned it as directions said when I refilled it and hit power button it wouldn't come on? I hope my warranty is still good sent them message! Update contacted them they responded immediately and I sent needed information they are sending replacement !

Love how quiet and simple this humidifier is... the essential oils do gunk up the base a little and it’s not easy to clean the whole thing.

No jokes, it really is a great humidifier/diffuser!! I use it all night long with essential oils to help me with my breathing. It lasts the entire night and it really humidifies!! I do need to get another one for work. This has no bells and whistles, it is a plain product which works exceptionally well!! I have not slept one night without it being on, since I have received it.

Easy to use combo
Much easier to clean than most models. I have this in my son’s bedroom. I fill it, add a few drops of lavendsr and turn on sleep mode when he goes to sleep. My only complaint is that it rarely lasts through the night. I live in AZ and the air is really dry. Maybe it has to work harder here to get to a healthy level?

Nice it works
So doesn’t as long as I hoped I may get 1 3/4 night use out of a full base and reservoir maybe 2 full night if it’s on sleep mode which I think it’s normal on the seettings I use all it all good product
Now if your using essential oils like I do add it to the base I can’t stress that enough if you want it to work
Because even then it’s still hard to smell some times but it still works
I’ve used sleep mode seems to help keep the water lasting longer so I can get 2 full nights other than that no complaints
It is kind a little harder to clean but isn’t bad again I wouldn’t get this solely as a oils diffuser it’s not really great got that but it does work if you add a lot of oil to it like 25+ drops (IN THE BASE) I can’t stress that a nuff
And it does put out a good amount of mist on high settings I’ve haven’t seen any leak so far other than your Little bit of common condensation on my night stand that I can easily wipe out no white dust nothing els

I love this humidifier. It works really well so I'm glad I signed up for the extended warranty since it died a month ago. I contacted customer service and Levoit and they tried to trouble shoot but it still didn't work so they sent a new one. The new one is working as well as the first and hopefully will last a longer time.

Buscamos el humidificador porque usamos un minisplit que seca mucho el aire (lleva la humedad a niveles inferiores al 20%). Filtered water was not good enough. Gunk built up after just two days. But distilled water did the trick. Nice and clean and sweet smelling after four days. Time to clean again. A gallon is perfect for two to three refills, overnight use only.

My family absolutely loves this humidifier. It works very well and I love that essential oils can be added and used. It’s really only meant for one room, so keep that in mind when purchasing. I is really do trust the Levoit brand - I have a Levoit air purifier as well and it is a work horse!

Very easy to clean due to wide opening and to fill.
Quiet
Must be refilled each night or every other night, depending on fan speed.
My other humidifier lasts one week without refilling due it’s larger 2.4 liter capacity and ability to make a finer mist at lower fan speed.
Love this unit. Easy to fill, easy to use. Great settings. On med setting, the tank easily makes it through my 7-8 hour sleep with a soft mist. Very quiet, love that I can set it and turn indicator light off, as I am light sensative and all glowing lights can prevent me from sleeping. Great product and affordable.

This Levoit humidifier is great for a single room. It's compact, quiet & does the job....I'm finally sleeping well at night! The instructions strongly recommend that you change the water every day & that is very important. So don't get lax about changing the water or cleaning the base; it only take a few minutes & you will reap the benefits.

Easy to clean & no glowing lights
This humidifier is so easy to clean. Humidifiers can be germ factories if you don’t look after them and this design makes it easy.
The other reason I got this model is because it has a night mode, so there are no glowing bright lights to try and cover up.

Stopped working after 1.5 months - Great customer service.
It is an amazing humidifier, very quiet, good mist, easy to clean. Unfortunately stopped misting after 1.5 months. I tried every troubleshooting possible listed. Will contact manufacturer today and keep you updated, hopefully get some stars back because other than that it is the perfect humidifier.

Since we loved this so much, we bought the second one. Top filling is brilliant. Noise level is bearable ( not completely silent, but much better than older ones). Sleep mode is plus. Cleaning is super easy thanks to clever design. Well, you need to disassemble the unit first for complete clean-up, which might be little tricky. However, not that mind blowing task...

I have orchids and succulents growing inside my home and this is perfect for getting a bit of humidity in the air for those plants.
It does need to be cleaned or dirty water dumped from the bottom everytime water is added. But its no biggy.
This by far the most convenient room humidifier I've used. Without a hygrometer, I can't really tell objectively what kind of job it does. But it feels effective in a standard sized bedroom. The capacity is fairly small, but you don't want water sitting around for days anyway. It's unobtrusive and practically noiseless and requires very little care.

Purchased another one for bedroom. Another plus, you can add aromatherapy oil right to the water. Take it from someone who has tried them all, this is the one to buy.

Easy to clean, but oddly I have not had to deep clean often. I have had this for about 8 months now, I see no build up. I leave it on for the night so it last for a solid 6-7 hours then it shuts off. I use distilled was as recommended. 1 gallon will last me two nights. I spend about 24$ a month on distilled water. No filter needs to be changed on this humidifier. Your money is going to go somewhere no matter what choice you choose. Either on buying distilled water or buying filte

I have radiators for heat and they suck all the moisture out of the air. I would get terrible dry mouth and headaches before, now I do not. I DID have an issue about a week ago tho. The unit was spewing a VERY THICK FOG instead of its’ usual diffused mist. I assumed it was in need of cleaning, as my water is very hard and mineral scale builds up after a weeks’ use. It is EASY to clean BTW! So, I cleaned it as usual, but when I refilled it, and tried to turn it back on…NOTHING. It wouldn’t even turn on. I set it aside and searched for my warranty/purchase papers, finding them a few days later, and discovering that (of course!) my warranty has JUST been exceeded by a couple days! I then contacted Levoit via email, and was instructed to send proof of purchase, pics of stickers on the unit, and a video of the problem which I did the next day. Here’s the kicker! LOL! In the process of video-ing the problem, it miraculously turned on! Huh! I don’t know why, perhaps I’d gotten water on the electrics when cleaning?? I sent all the info PLUS the video of its’ resurrection and asked if I could possibly still extend the warranty? Normally, a 2 year extension is offered at time of purchase- which I had NOT taken advantage of. Yesterday I got a reply. They expressed gladness that the unit was once again working, and extended my warranty! This was a very generous thing to do! I am SO THANKFUL for their prompt response!

I researched a Product that could not only be a humidifier but also release sense into the air. So I was happy when a brand that I recognized and already owned as an air filter also came out with this product and therefore could be reliable. I would advise though do not keep water in there if you do not use it daily because then you can develop a little bit of a must smell, but other than that the item works great as described.

I never write reviews but I am so thankful for this humidifier. I have a lot of allergies, and I need a humidifier in the winter. The worst thing for people with allergies is to breath mildew in the middle of the night, so having a clean humidifier is super important. It is super easy to clean, you can see and reach all parts. Just plain common sense and good design. Hands down the best humidifier I ever had. I bought mine 1 year ago and ordered another one for my kids bedroom this winter.
I never write reviews but I am so thankful for this humidifier. I have a lot of allergies, and I need a humidifier in the winter. The worst thing for people with allergies is to breath mildew in the middle of the night, so having a clean humidifier is super important. Worst packaging ever I have received from Amazon. With no Amazon box and not even a seal on the box it looked like it was opened once and packed again. NOT expected such “UNSAFE packaging from AMAZON”.
Product itself is really good, if you take care of it well, it will take care of you for sure(wash it on every 3 days). Most of the users don’t wash them correctly and complain about mold build inside. Runtime is little short than what its been advertised though, around 8 to 10 hours depending upon the mode selected. Over all it’s been and awesome product but highly disappointed on packaging part of the product as it was sent in its own box and not even sealed. Worst packaging from Amazon but good product.

I love it and use it daily. My only complaint is that per the directions oils should only be put in the lower compartment, but this compartment is the most difficult to clean because you cannot detach the power cord from it. But it’s okay, looks great, almost no noise level and all and makes my house smell & feel great.

Not quite enough for a studio apartment?
Pretty nice little humidifier, but it is a little small to keep up with my studio apartment which is ULTRA dry. Most days it is off and empty upon waking up. Very quiet to me even on high. Easy to clean, easy to use. Seems to be made OK. Has a nice look to fit in with modern decor.
(Update) after a couple months of use, I only really ‘need’ to run it every other day to keep the space nice. Don’t forget to buy a bottle brush, and a spray bottle of peroxide to clean the ‘chimney’ as it is the hardest part to clean and you really need to make sure you do to avoid any build ups. The last thing you want in a humidifier is any kinds of mold.

Very easy to use. Not noisy at all (my AC fan is def louder that this). Cleaning part is a bit annoying. It’s recommended to clean every 3 days. A few small spots are not easy to clean. I usually use soft tooth brush to clean them.

LOVE this humidifier - it's easy to fill and easy to clean, which is huge. We run it all night on sleep mode in a baby's nursery and it's whisper quiet. We've even used a monitor to test the humidity in the room before and after using it - and this humidifier definitely works well. It's also really nice looking - very modern and minimal design. Highly recommend!!

Great qulity and easy to clean item! But.. one thing i was really sad about is it didn’t last a night. I used it for my small bedroom at level 3 and it lasted about 6hrs. I tried at level 2 and that lasted over 8hrs. However, i felt more comfortable at level 3 so im returning it and ordered a bigger levoit humudifier which will last through the nigh

Very quiet and easy to clean. I run this 9-10 hours a day for my plants while I’m at work and have only had an issue once. The water level in the bottom reservoir was too high and it stopped working for a few hours. I just dumped the water, cleaned, and refilled and it was good as new again. All pieces come apart and it’s easy to soak and wipe down.

This is a great little humidifier. I live in a desert environment and really needed to increase the humidity in my 1 bedroom apartment. It has delivered to the point that I can turn it off from time to time. Currently humidity 37% up from 14%

I use distilled water so filter is not needed. You just need to clean it regularly. I only use it as a humidifier. Easy to clean. Extremely quiet. Minimalistic. Not too big, not too small. Easy to use. User manual is included if you need it. Super fast delivery.

I’ve had a dozen humidifiers from working/deploying overseas and for both of our babies. All but 2 have lasted more than a year: 1 lucky chinese brand (out of many failed types) that I bought as a contractor in Kuwait, and of course this one. The air vent is on the outside of the ultrasonic internal reservoir (see product pictures), while the main reservoir easily covers the whole thing. So everytime you clean, water will hardly ever atomize or spill droplets overtime into the air vent’s internal magical components. When you turn it on it automatically sets it on 1 (my preference) but to turn it off it first has to go to 2 and 3 before turning off. It’s slightly annoying to have to press it 3 times to turn it off and if you mess up it’s easy to miss the right setting. I have left it on accidentally on 3 a few times. No big deal but I have to refill yet again. Other then that it is perfect. It has a nighttime setting as well but if I could guess it’s like a level 4 with the most moisture output.

I ordered the Levoit humidifier because it was recommended by my wholistic kinesiologist. The first one I ordered seemed to have a glitch in the electronics. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. I contacted the company and after some trouble shooting, they determined they would replace it free of charge. I now have my new unit and I love it. I especially love the sleep mode so that I know I can basically turn it on and forget about it.
I also love that I can use essential oils with this unit. I think it’s been particularly helpful during COVID as we try to keep our air clean and our lungs healthy!
I've had other ultrasonic humidifiers but this one can hardly be heard 2 feet from the bed. And my cats like the access to drink out of the tank. I use tap water and refill each night, clean with vinegar once a week. Great Levoit support when I had an issue--didn't get the float in level.

We have owned many other humidifiers before purchasing this one. What an amazing product. Fill well, select setting and go. So easy to clean and use. Sleep mode is my favorite. I no longer wake up with a stuffed up nose and dry mouth making my mornings alot more enjoyable.

I have been on the hunt for a humidifier to replace my old one which has started to make a noticeable whining noise that wakes me at night. Originally I ordered a much larger, fancier unit with a bunch of different features that ended up not working and not being worth the cost. I looked at a lot of different humidifiers and was worried about receiving and having to return another dud. This much simpler unit is a total winner and exactly what I needed. It is incredibly quiet and only makes a faint gurgling noise on the highest setting. Even that wouldn't bother me much while sleeping, but on the low and medium settings there is virtually no noise. This device proves that sometimes simpler is better. This humidifier looks sleek, functions as intended, is reasonably priced, and is extremely easy to fill and clean. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The only downside I could possibly find is that the tank isn't as large as other products I looked at, but I prefer the compact design and the ease of refilling basically negates the potential downside of having to fill a smaller tank more often. Highly recommend.

I've owned this humidifier for over 2 months. I didn't know after buying it that it would be needed as much as I did. This is an excellent humidifier for a small to medium size area (room I'm using it in is a small 10x12 bedroom). It helps with dust control and allergies.

Holds a lot of water and lasts all day it is the perfect amount of messed and is super quiet. I bought two they are amazing and really easy to use.

Purchased this for my son's room since his nose seems to become dry throughout the night. Small, powerful, quiet and useful humidifier. Super easy to use and the sleep mode seems to be also useful. We do need to test this more, but the tests we have done it seems to work well. Very pleased with this product.

I love this humidifier, but there is one downfall. I love the 3 levels and the night/sleep mode. It is super quiet. But. We are using it in an 9x10 ish room and the water lasts 10 hrs, if that. It's small, especially for the price. I really wish it was just a bit bigger.

Since I run a fan at night, the humidifier cannot be heard. My bedroom is about 240 square feet, which is at the upper end of the allowed range for this machine. But this winter my nose has been less dry and I credit this to this machine. On level 3 (max), it can handle this large space for 6-7 hours. I don't notice white residue when using tap water...BUT, you must clean the machine every 3 days max b/c with tap water b/c you will get mold/mildew stains that you need to remove, which you don't get with purified water. But it will get pricey to use purified water if you are using Level 3. And it's not easy to clean a couple spots in the machine. Overall, an excellent humidifier after a couple months' use. Better with purified water, but fine with tap if you clean it frequently.

Primarily for aroma therapy with the eucalyptus oils that help fight the covid 19 and other viruses. Output is very high for larger rooms as I have a vaulted ceiling in my LR where this is located. And the 2 yr warranty is more that the other brands that I researched. Very pleased with this product and will recommend to others! 5 stars!

I think i may have had covit 19 in january…never got tested…but my lungs were abused by what i thought was the worse flu in word history…and if it wasn’t for the ability to add alcohol and teetrea oil to this my lungs would be a mess now! it helped me breathe again by having it next to my bed!
yeah i coughed up lots of stuff from my lungs thought i was going to die a few times…but holy hell this thing saved me!
But that said…ok the temptation to fill it up while it’s till on the machine is there…hell i fail at it all the time.
and when you do this it overfills the bottom and suffocates it and you get nothing.

I think i may have had covit 19 in january…never got tested…but my lungs were abused by what i thought was the worse flu in word history…and if it wasn’t for the ability to add alcohol and teetrea oil to this my lungs would be a mess now! it helped me breathe again by having it next to my bed!
yeah i coughed up lots of stuff from my lungs thought i was going to die a few times…but holy hell this thing saved me!
But that said…ok the temptation to fill it up while it’s till on the machine is there…hell i fail at it all the time.
and when you do this it overfills the bottom and suffocates it and you get nothing.

We’ve been using the humidifier in the master bedroom for about a month. Being an AZ resident, our humidity levels are quite low. We are able to raise the levels from the 20s to 35+ when running at night only. Our bedroom is larger than average and empties into a large bathroom and closet area. If the door to the bathroom is closed we get better results. The unit is quiet and easy to clean. We sometimes use essential oils which gives a nice scent. If the unit runs out of water, it turns itself off. So far so good.

Impressive humidifier!
I got this through a Treasure Truck buy a few months back because my bedroom diffuser was dying. After I saw the size I realized this is NOT a real “nightstand” humidifier and started to return it, then life happened.
Well, with these continued cold snaps and increased lock down, my skin was suffering, so I thought maybe it was time to try it out. It fit nicely in my living room and is CRAZY quiet (had to check to make sure it was even running!). The static we had been fighting has let up but I’ve seen no sign of extra condensation anywhere and it’s basically run almost non stop multiple days (on high, it takes about 4 hours to drain, on the lowest setting I’d say a fill lasts close to 12).
I haven’t tried using oils in it yet since it’s in a shared area with animals but I’m loving how quiet and easy to use this is. So far, other than the size, highly recommend!
I have gone through so many humidifiers over the years and recently tossed one that was not that old I had gotten at the drug store. This humidifier out shines them all. very easy to fill, clean and add oils to bottom to make infuser as well. Almost silent. Absolutely love it. Hope it lasts!

I bought three different humidifiers on Amazon, simultaneously to compare, and I like this one the best. This Levoit, top fill with sleep mode, 2-in-1 humidifier/diffuser is right up my alley. Perfectly simple, easy to handle. There’s no screw cap for an overturned tank, the top fill has a lid that simple sets in place, and the tank lightly lifts away from the weight of the base, and even full of water, my kid can fill it and put it back. It is not silent- there is white noise but as a new machine the noise is not bothersome. I really appreciate the sleep mode which simply turns the light off, as I’m quite sensitive to any tiny light in my bedroom. I love essential oils and this Levoit has been running our Four Thieves blend (from Plant Therapy) since I bought the machine. I admit, I haven’t been cleaning as frequently or using filtered water so I better get on that if I want it to last. And I do! But I’ll happily replace it if I must! Great gift idea and health and wellness.

My son uses it nightly and really likes it. He feels like it adds the perfect amount of moisture to the air to keep his sinuses happy. If you're hoping for "white noise" out of a humidifier, this one's not for you because it makes basically zero noise. Most folks would probably find that preferable, but we were hoping it would provide a bit more ambient white noise.

I’m shocked how much I love this humidifier after how much I hated the previous two that we owned. This one is SO easy to fill with water and clean. The tank is wide enough to thoroughly wash, and the base doesn’t have the typical books and crannies of the drop shape humidifier models. It’s quiet and has a sleep mode so my kids aren’t disturbed by the light and I don’t have to worry about adjusting the humidity due to the internal sensor. The tank is always almost empty by morning, but the bedroom is on the larger size.

This thing is so quiet, so easy to fill from the top and and good looking. I’ve had several over the years and my number one hate for them was how hard it was to refill them. Oh and how ugly and awkward they were. This one fades into the background and isn’t embarrassing to look at. Its so easy to fill. And when the time comes it will be easier to clean. I might buy another one. I love it!

I like the functions and ease of use and cleaning. The three different settings put out a noticeably different amount of humidified air, aka, you truly get a low, med and high amount. It's nice that the night setting is dark. There is a noticeable hum and water dripping noise when in use, even during the night setting. Doesn't bother me so much as I use the Rain, Rain app to go to sleep anyway but I could see it being a problem for people who like it silent when they sleep.

Great Humidifier - use distilled wate
To make your life easier and avoid having to clean it, and also avoid that fine white dust that gets everywhere, use distilled water (no minerals in it, so you avoid the mess that comes with using regular water).

BUY THIS - The perfect humidifier finally exists, pretty much
For years I have railed at the stupid people designing humidifiers. I feel like they were made to get gross so you can throw them away and buy another before the winter is even halfway done.
I have had this unit for two years, it’s on every night for the whole winter. I have to say this humidifier was designed by a very smart designer, I hope they have won awards for this, because this is how humidifiers should be designed.
It’s beautiful, it works flawlessly, and it couldn’t be easier to fill. As to cleaning, it’s almost perfect, nearly perfect, so closely perfect!
The base is so easy to clean, no nook’s or crannies at all. The weight that activates the cut off switch pops right out and is so easy to clean and reinstall. This bottom unit is perfection. The bucket is also super easy to clean and has no nook’s or crannies, not one.
It’s the chimney that the vapor travels up through, it clips inside the bucket. This can be a small pain to clean, it’s not bad at all, but still, it can be improved.
The way it clips depends on a plastic tab flexing, which will eventually break. It requires a butter knife to pop the tab, which is annoying. The chimney is made of three parts, the tube, a funnel at the bottom and a diverting piece that is secured with a screw inside the top.
The funnel is snapped in with tabs, it also depends on deforming the plastic to remove it, it will also definitely break eventually. Plus it’s a pain to remove, and it needs to be removed every time.
The diverter piece at the top, I’m tempted to remove it and leave it out since it is a huge pain to reinstall. A screw holds it in, I believe it builds pressure so the column of vapor shoots out higher but I’m not sure. I only have to remove it every other time I clean it. To install I have to push it into place and hold it there with my bottle brush while I screw the screw back in, it is a total pain.
That being said, this is the unit I will forever buy, I will tell everyone I know, it is simply the best.

PS – I would also suggest, if the people at Levoit are reading this, please make a larger, higher capacity version of this unit, one that can run for 10-12 hours or more. This unit is only good for 6-8 hours depending on the speed you choose.
For a higher capacity version get the big cube one they make. It is not nearly as perfect, full of nook’s and crannies, but with some simple modifications I explain in that review, it’s pretty good. Plus, it holds a ton of water.
Our house is very dry in the winter. This causes issues with skin. I purchased one and loved it. I want the humidity in my room at night but not warm humidity as I get too hot . I was worried about the essential oil function on this I was afraid it would clog. I have had no problems with that. I bought another one later on. I will say a few things the operation in general. Use distilled water only. If you find you have a fog in house that's what it is. I have a water softener and still had the fog so invest in distilled water. The other thing is that you will get a dampness where the mist falls so protect furniture/floors especially in a small room with no air circulation. It is a dampness not wet. All in all this was a great purchase and will continue to purchase Levoit products.
