Adaptable to every condition and situatio
This magnifying glass has everything I need to use in many different conditions. A regular lens and one for further magnification should it be needed, it is small enough to take traveling but large enough to be comfortable, it can be used upright, at an angle, on a table or around the neck. It’s got its own led in case light conditions are insufficient, but I tend not to use this unless I have to, to avoid having to change batteries too often.

I was struggling seeing my work and this helped so much. I unpicked my work 5 times before purchasing this. Now working neater and the light is so helpful to see the fine work. Thanks. My only niggle is that is shows the unit as a stand as well as hanging from around the neck. The stand does not work very well and afraid to pull too hard to make it stand up. I will keep working around the neck as it does help that way. Just a shame it did not stand up on desk as shown in picture. Many thanks

Very good magnifying glass. I find it well built & of good quality. Just 2 things I found, stopped it getting a higher score.
1 the field of view isn’t as wide as I would have liked, it’s not really possible to read across a page of a magazine without moving the thing around quite a bit, (for me at least), (I know there are glasses out there that are more page-wide, but they all seem to get a bad quality review).
2 It didn’t come with any instructions, so it was trial & error as to getting the flap down to stand hands-free, also to find out how to get the battery compartment to open. A set of clear instructions would have got this a 5 star.

Should come with instructions
The magnifying glass came flat in a box with no instructions whatsoever on how to bend the piece or turn on the light.
I had to play with it for a while to finally be able to unfold the stand, risking it would break since it’s cheap plastic.
I have yet to find how to turn on the led light there is no button or sign of any kind. I guess it eventually will need some kind of battery but again, no sign of where it could be. 3.5 stars only

It is really great for reading, I'm visually impaired, and struggle to read unless the font is large enough, or I get migraines in my eyes, straining to read, this magnifier helps thos to not happen!!!

Very useful magnifier.
I find this is an excellent magnifier especially when doing embroidery and the light is poor or needing to unpick any sewing. It took a while to get used to adjusting the neck cord to the correct length but once done it’s a great help especially with light which has an easily accessible on/off switch and small area of higher magnification. It has two rubber ‘feet’ which go against the chest as a comfort feature and I was very impressed that two spare ‘feet’ are included along with a cleaning cloth. I am happy to recommend this useful magnifier.

The magnifier came on a blister pack (see photo) with absolutely no instructions on how to set it up or how or where to put the batteries. You just have to use logic to avoid breaking it before you start. Having said that, the product performs quite well once you have figured it out. The two LED’s built in to the handle illuminates your work area well and are bright enough even in low light conditions. I particularly liked the fact that you can use it on it’s stand and also around your neck with the sturdy cord that comes with it. All in all a good piece of kit for the money.

Reasonable value for money
Bought for a gift for my mum. I had read somewhere that the part where to insert batteries was difficult to find so could have been explained on the packaging. Also the packaging was a little damaged.

It a great item
This has been so useful as now gives me both hands for stitching. Even at the moment as I am down to one hand after surgery but it hasn’t stopped me from doing my cross stitch. The only issue is openin the compartment for putting the ba5eries

This does the job for me as my eyesight is terrible and I’m able to continue with my craft BUT I wish the nose clips were softer and pliable as they hurt after 10 minutes of use. They need to be top heavy to accommodate the lights and lense so the downside has to be the nose bridge! Otherwise perfect!!

These are ok. Would be great for reading but I didnt get on well with them for detailed painting. They got in the way when round my neck and not sturdy enough to use the stand. They are lovely for reading though.

Took ages to put batteries in, a bit fiddly and beware of making sure its turned away from you when you try it,ie when switching on make sure led lights are not directly in your sight .

Habitu bricoler des trucs minuscules, j’tais arriv la limite canne blanche et chien d’aveugle pour terminer mes rparations de prcision. Mon chien n’tant pas trs coopratif, ni trs dou, je me suis repli sur l’achat d’une loupe mais rtro claire. Celle-ci est correcte, laisse les deux mains libres et me suffit pour le moment. Elle est suffisamment large et son clairage ne produit pas ou peu de reflets.
Grossissement correct et nettet satisfaisante.
Je la recommande donc pour compenser une petite baisse de l’acuit visuelle si votre chien n’est vraiment pas dispos vous aider.

I really liked this as it has a stand and also can be placed around the neck. I only deducted 1 star as I felt it could have been cheaper. Also I felt that the magnification wasn’t very sharp. But overall it is a decent magnifying glass.

I use this product for my embroidery project. I also have a desk magnifier but this one is more suitable as its closer to you and easy to see the stitching without having to re-adjust. Only problem is if you have a slippery top on it moves around a lot!

Mme si elle semble un peu “cheap” au premier abord. C’est une petite lampe loupe qui claire bien avec un dtail grossissant prcis. Elle tient bien autour du cou et aussi pose sur la table. Parfait pour le voyage, afin de broder, lire ou autre. Commentaires des autres acheteurs sur le site prcieux afin de trouver le compartiment piles, car c’est vrai qu’il n’y a pas de mode d’emploi!!! Et la petite chamoisine inclue dans l’emballage afin de nettoyer la loupe est trs bien.

Arrived early Previous reviews helped as I was prepared for the stiffness of the stand and found the battery compartment easily. Works fine; good light and magnification. I think I will probably get a lot of use out of it (might even buy a spare ….!).
Flexibility
Great item used for art projects. Easy use. Battery back is hard to come off though.
I use this for a bit of reading, sewing, knitting, drawing, painting, reading small print on tins, packets, I like it. I haven’t set it up for table top use yet as it is loath to budge its small parts and I’m frightened I break it. I finally managed to get the battery compartment sussed out and opened, then when I inserted the batteries and switched it on I was hit with the full glare of two little bulbs which caused me to see spots for about ten minutes after. Bright! I think it may be a bit fragile but it wasn’t dear and i think it’s well worth the money. I’ll ask my son to do the table top reveal, then I’ll maybe find other uses for it.. I ordered it on the 25th April and finally got it 14th June! But there is no doubt at all that was due to the pandemic and not the fault of the seller. It was carefully wrapped. I must admit I had given up of ever getting it but I’m very glad it arrived. I hang it round my neck, balance it on my chest and off I go, creating like mad. It does need readjusting on your chest if you move about, but that doesnt bother me, my eyes are pretty old and dodgy and this wee contraption helps me to get on with things. Probably better things on the market but im happy with it.

Magnifier is great. Had trouble with where the batteries went and how to move the lens but looked again on here and found it easy enough. Would recommend. Will have to buy batteries tomorrow so unless any problems with the light I will update.

No instructions about how to insert batteries though there is info about size/type of batteries, so it turned into a bit of a fiddle. Once inserted it gives a very good light and magnification is good. Bought to help with threading sewing machine needles which are rather small.

I use it for crosstitch I find it a bit difficult keeping it at the right angle to sew. The one I’m doing now has very small squares so it is ideal. Enjoy using it.

I don’t know how robust this will be. The plastic seems a little brittle. But it was a good price. I’ve not used it yet. But it seems to sit right and the light appears to be good enough. I am very disappointed. I have had this for 4 days and the light has stopped working. It is such a hassle for me to return it as I am disabled and will have to get someone to take it to one of the returns places which is a real problem. I was very happy with it and so I have just ordered a new one and I will try to get the old one returned.

It took ages to figure out how to insert the batteries. No instructions and even when I asked the ‘community’ I got no helpful guidance. It was very stiff and I was concerned that I would break it if forced.
Once I got over that hurdle it is exactly as expected. It would be nice if the extra-large magnification circle was a little bigger but that wasn’t why I purchased it so not affecting the rating.

I like that l can change how hi i have it sitting on my chest but it is not easy to move and angle the magnifier.
I use this for reading small print knitting charts. The stand is a bit stiff, but other than that I’m more than happy.
I purchased this item as I was struggling with threading a very fine needle on an embroidery kit. This has certainly, overall, helped with this and the tiny larger magnification has been extremely useful for this. I also very much like the light and will certainly need to make sure I have spare batteries – good lighting makes such a difference. The only part which is difficult is getting the holding string the correct length and position so that the magnifying lens is over the part you want to sew. I have recommended to a friend as I do feel this product certainly helps and means that you can carry on with your project with less eye strain which can only be good.

As my eyes arent working as good as they used to I need this for jewellery making. With this I can see those little rhinestones and put them in the right spot! As I can stand it on the table both hands are freed up.

As expected for a magnifying glass
I bought this to use when doing fine embroidery. The magnification works fine, but it does wobble & slip when angled from my neck. Unless you are totally flat, I can’t see that it would do anything else, but it was cheap & it works (even if I have to keep repositioning)
The last time I did any cross stitch was over 20 years ago and I used a magnifier back then. I need it even more now as my eyesight is not what it was 20 years ago. I bought this one as it was very affordable and it does exactly as expected. The little led lights are a great benefit and I can sit in a normal lit room and work happily with the light on the magnifier. I would recommend this product.

Lightweight and good magnification but flimsy
I appreciate that this magnifier is lightweight but it is ‘plasticy’. Like others I referred to the Questions and Answers to find out how to insert the batteries. Why can’t the manufacturers include that information in the packaging. I prised the outer battery cover open carefully wIth a knife it being impossible to do otherwise. The magnification is good once the distance is worked out. Not sure this would work well on a desk and stay in place.

I had stopped doing cross stitch because I have problems with my eye sight. However I was given a kit as a present. I bought this magnifying glass so that I could make up the pattern. It’s really made a difference and the light helps. I had no problems putting the batteries in and I am sewing again.

Fantastic piece of kit, would highly recommend it if you do any close up work e.g. embroidery, crafting and you want an option to either have it desk mounted or around your neck so you can free up your hands.
Loupe reue en tat impeccable. J’ai enfin nouveau le plaisir de crocheter avec un crochet plus petit que le 3. J’ai aussi nouveau envie de bricoler de petites choses. L’ge tant l, le plaisir m’tait pass, mes yeux n’tant plus capables de me permettre de faire de petites choses minutieuses. . Le seul petit “couac”, c’est qu’il n’y a qu’une seule led dans le bas de la loupe (quand on la met en “collier”). J’aurais d penser en prendre une avec plusieurs leds autour de la loupe (je n’ai pas t voir plus loin si a existait). En mme temps, elle n’est pas chre et se porte aussi bien en “collier” que pose sur une surface et elle reste bien stable. Je me suis bien adapte et je ne regrette pas mon achat.
s pratique pour faire des travaux dlicats comme micro-macram , crochet infrieur 1 mm, broderie ( yeux mini amigurumi ) ou juste enfiler plusieurs fils dans un chat d aiguille … le port autour du cou permet d emmener son ouvrage partout ( pas besoin d un plan de travail pour fixer la loupe ) . la loupe remplit trs bien sa fonction si bien qu en pleine journe la lumire naturelle suffit et le cas chant les leds sont un ” plus ” trs apprciable . la longueur du cordon est rglable ( c est fonction de la hauteur laquelle vous positionnez vos mains pour travailler ) sinon elle peut se poser sur une table , le pied se dplie . j adore , je recommande toutes celles et ceux qui en ont marre de loucher sur leurs ouvrages
