Easy to handle Die Grinder.
The GD0600/2 is powered by 400 watt motor to deliver up to 25,000 rpm to handle the most challenging applications.
The Die Grinder has a paddle type on/off switch, small circumference housing and an easy to grip small diameter barrel grip for added comfort. The round shaped collet nut is engineered to prevent damages and scratches to the workpiece. Directional air vents channel the tool’s air output away from the operators face.

Aprovech una oferta y mi temor era la potencia, pues os comento que es suficiente para trabajos duros de metal. Incluso he adquirido un regulador para bajar la velocidad en trabajos de lijado pulido.

Das der Makita Stabschleifer hoffentlich lange hlt, davon gehe ich aus. Die einwandfreie Funktion ist derzeit gegeben. Preis – Leistung ist fr ein Markengert in Ordnung.
If you do any work with metal, then it is a tool you must have.
Have one of these at the place where I work and I’ve used it for deburring, cutting,polishing and cleaning off welds. Great tool to have alongside a grinder. Can’t recommend it enough so had to buy one myself for home projects.

Good but a couple of issues.
This is a great tool, well balanced and powerful. Bear in mind that mine came with a two pin European plug which was no issue for me to change but could be for others. I also found that 1/4 inch shank (6.35mm) die bits are too tight to fit in the collet safely, will only fit in about 10-12mm through the collet so make sure you order 6mm not 1/4 inch. Its only 0.014 inch difference and the manual states 6mm up to a maximum 6.35mm. Other than that pleased with the purchase.

I used a cheaper die grinder which gave up the ghost after about 3 months…I should have bought this one from day one ….it’s well made ….ok re balance and will work for hours without getting too hot to handle ….it’s a 1/4″ / 6mm chuck so be mindful when buying your burrs. This one came with a euro plug which was disappointing but an easy fix….it’s also got a paddle style switch on / off which again takes a little time to get used to but is actually quite handy .

Great piece of ki
This is so much better than my old brand (2 reasons : 1 it works as my old brand fizzled and blew up so is now a piece of modern art, 2 it is comfortable to use.) Like some other reviewers I found it a little strange to get used to the paddle trigger but once I did I found it good. It is also a good safety feature as if it is dropped for any reason the tool switches off immediately. The collet is perfect size. I understand some others have had difficulty with it it is a little tight the first time it is used but that is to be expected, I just loosened everything off and the with a little pressure the shank popped straight in. After the first time it became significantly easier. If the collet is not snug it will not hold the shank of the attachment firmly and because of the torque of the tool the attachment could become loose. Also make sure the shanks of the attachments have no burs on them from previous use. This will prevent the shank from sliding into the collet. All in all a really good tool.
The only thing I am a little concerned about is that this tool is made in China. All my other Makita tools are made in Japan. Most of the Chinese stuff that I have had experience with doesn’t seem to last.

Tool arrive promptly and works as descriped. Love Makita tools,
have a lot of them and they never give any problems. Only gave
4 stars because tool arrived with non UK plug attached, had to cut
it off and purchase a UK style plug. Also tool has no earth wire,
it is double insulated so technically does not need one. However
this is a tool l will be using outdoors from time to time and if
water or metal shavings get past the double insulation, it will
be very sad for me. As is, this tool must be connected to a
proper RCD device to try and make up for lack of earth. Also because
I had to remove the original plug, I probably have voided any
warranty that came with it ??? Conversion plugs are loose fitting
and prone to short circuits, not to mention being totally not
weatherproof. I live in Ireland where we use the same plugs
as the UK, this is obviously known to any vendor, so get with
the program, before someone gets hurt or worse.

Impressed! Solidly built and easy to handle with the trigger switch. I’ve been using this to do the finer bits of grinding on a car chassis that don’t suit using an angle grinder.

Great for wood too
Bought this to remove rotten wood in window frames. Comfortable to use, as with other rotary tools can tend to run or climb along the work if not gripped tightly. Works really well, saves hours of chiseling.

Klein und handlich, bin nach einigen Schleifarbeiten sehr zufrieden. Mann mu wissen,sie hat nur 400 Watt, aber fr mich vollstndig ausreichend. Preileistungsverhltnis Ok.
Wärmeentwicklung
Gert sehr robust, gut verarbeitet, Spindel ohne jegliches Spiel.
Nach ca 10 Minuten Dauerbetrieb wird das Gert jedoch bedenklich hei.

I’m using the die grinder on Plasma Cut Mild Steel to tidy up some of the rough edges.
It works brilliantly! Previously I used an Air powered die grinder – but this provides way more torque and is just as fast. With a carbide burr it rips through the steel.
It’s quiet in operation & doesn’t get hot with prolonged use. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic.
10/10 for quality & ease of use!
Fantastic for wood carving. Steady power, doesn’t bog down. The wrenches for changing bits are separate and I worry about losing them, but I tied the 2 together to help that situation.

Funziona davvero bene! Chiaramente ha bisogno di frese di buona fattura progettate per questo uso, ma la smerigliatrice funziona benissimo

This Mikita has a 1/4″ chuck, many of the others offered do not accept a 1/4″ tool…..which is bye the way the American standard tool diameter….

Nachteile sind das Gewicht und lediglich eine spannzange fr 6 mm. Eine 8 mm zustzlich wre schn.
Fr den Heimwerker ein optimales Werkzeug. Gute Verarbeitung und 400 W sind fr kleinere Schleifarbeiten wirklich genug. Der Schalter ist eine Gewohnheitssache, mit Arbeitshandschuhen vielleicht etwas umstndlich zu bedienen. Aber ich arbeite ohne Handschuhe und habe daher das Problem nicht.
Vermutlich sind die Lager bis Oben hin mit Fett gefllt, das vordere Lager ist nach einer Minute Leerlauf sehr warm geworden und es trat flssig gewordenes Fett aus. Darum habe ich den Schleifer erst mal “Einlaufen” lassen. Das geht so: Einschalten und ohne Gummiabdeckung fhlen wann das vordere Lager warm wird, abschalten und ausgetretenes Fett wegputzen. Wenn abgekhlt (handwarm) wieder anschalten. Noch paar mal wiederholen, dann wird das Lager nicht mehr hei, und es ist immer noch gengend Fett fr eine Lebensdaerschmierung im Lager vorhanden. Ich habe mit dem Schleifer schon so Einiges gearbeitet. Und ich wrde ihn nicht missen wollen. Er luft sehr sehr vibrationsarm und hat gengend Leistung um z.B. kurz mal eine M16 12.9 Schraube durch zu trennen. Und der Preis dafr ist wirklich in Ordnung.
