So Far So Good!
Had this now for a few weeks and seems to be doing what it is meant to do. Just don’t expect it to protect valuables from burgularies etc as it could be forced open….maybe a safe is a solution there if needed!
[X] As some others have said it can be a bit troublesome inserting the key; I agree but isn’t really a negative point to the item overall.
[X] When opening/closing make sure to lean a little weight down using your hand on the opening area before using the latch. It makes easier and does mention this in the instructions – guess if ignoring this a lot might result in wearing out the latch.
[X] Some people mentioned white powder when they opened theirs for the first time. Made me suspicious at first however I read from the manufacturer as a piece of mind this is normal due to shifts and bumps during transportation (just the concrete inside).
I do hope it does what it says for fire and flood protection although I’d rather not have to want to let that happen for real!
My verdict is I’d recommend this if you are picky like me browsing similar products and carefully reading reviews etc.
Really nice quality with a good solid structure. The key lock is a little flimsy. I’d like to see a bigger key/lock but the locking handle is solid and the safe is well made. It will need fixed into the floor but that was expected.
Very heavy, which must be a good thing. Also very sturdy and good quality. Holds A4 paper, but only just. No holes for fixing to wall or shelf, but as it is meant to be waterproof this is not surprising.

Holds plenty of important papers which are already scanned , but you know legal people “originals only”
As with insurance you hpe you will never need to claim, the same with safe never hope to find out how well it works.
Very heavy and solid. MEDIUM size. Not sure I could manage the large one in a hurry.
Lid closes with satisfying clunk hopefully creating 100% seal.
Would have been nice to add a “Kensington Lock” slot or gap to run cable though, making it harder to walk off.
Heavy but seems sturdy, which is what you want in a safe
This seems a well made piece of kit, not a whole lot of space inside but it was exactly what we needed (for a relative to store important paperwork and files), quite heavy so less likely to be knocked around, haven’t had it long but seems to be decent. Handle is VERY useful, unsure how strong it will be if used a lot though. Can only hope it is as good as promised. But from first impressions seems to be one of best on market.

Dies ist bereits unsere zweite Kassette. Wir sind vollstenszufrieden. Man muss zwar erst mal den Trick raus haben wie sie zu ffnen geht aber danach echt top. So hat man etwas Sicherheit wenn man wichtige Dinge aufbewahren mchte.

This is one of those products that you have to have faith in. Is it fire proof and is it water proof? I don’t know and I am not about to test it. It is certainly heavy duty and thus appears fit for purpose.

Avevo bisogno di una cassaforte per raccogliere documenti personali e per proteggerli pi da me che per proteggerli da pericoli esterni. Uso i prodotti MasterLock da oltre 50 anni e sono sempre stato soddisfatto. Il caso dice che sui siti europei progettato per documenti A4. Non sono sicuro di questo. Contiene documenti A4, ma stretto lungo i lati. Credo che sia progettato per carta in formato “letter size” del Nord America. Non avevo bisogno o volevo distruggere le mie pareti di pavimenti per fissare saldamente la scatola. Inoltre non avevo bisogno di una serratura elettronica o di qualche meccanismo stravagante. Tutti questi sono altrettanto facili da rompere e costano troppo per i miei gusti. So che queste casseforti riducono i danni causati dal fuoco e dall’acqua. Ho intenzione di conservare per lo pi documenti cartacei e possibilmente alcuni dischi rigidi del computer. Vorrei che fosse fornito con quattro e non solo due chiavi. Vorrei anche che ci fosse un’etichetta di plastica bianca per scrivere le mie informazioni di contatto o simili su di essa. Soprattutto se si trova fuori dal mio ufficio o da casa. Inoltre, un’etichetta sarebbe carina nel caso in cui tu abbia molte di queste casseforti, puoi etichettarle con nomi o numeri. La maniglia per il trasporto robusta e confortevole. troppo pesante per essere trasportato su una lunga distanza, specialmente da una persona pi piccola. Preferisco questa versione precedente rispetto alla versione pi recente, che ha i lati angolati. Quello carino, ma il mio non sar visibile molto spesso, quindi non mi interessa. Ti suggerisco di evitare di conservare copertine di plastica o carte d’identit in plastica leggera con documenti cartacei importanti. Sospetto che si scioglierebbero e farebbero un pasticcio con tutto. Dovresti confermare le dimensioni esterne della cassaforte e confrontarla con la posizione in cui prevedi di tenerla. Ci sono alcune informazioni all’interno della custodia che dovresti annotare su un foglio di carta. Zwei kleine Plastikschnipsel standen in der Nhe des Verschlusses an der Naht noch ab. Deshalb der Sternabzug. Ein bisschen “dreckig” war die Sicherheitskassette schon gewesen, dass war allerdings brig gebliebenes Fllmaterial gewesen. Einmal drberwischen mit nem nassen Lappen und weg ist es. Ansonsten kann ich nur dazu sagen: Hoffentlich muss sich die Feuerfestigkeit niemals unter Beweis stellen 😉

L’ho comprata per costudire alcuni documenti importanti in casa e proteggerli da eventuali incendi. Per il prezzo richiesto, il prodotto a mio parere ottimo. Inoltre la cassetta protegge anche da acqua e grandi pesi.
Received two days earlier than advised so that was great. Packaged well and yes, there were traces of a cement-type powder in and around the safe but having read other reviews, this appears quite normal. My only observation was concerning the seal shown in the fire video and the slight amount of downward pressure required to close the lid. I can’t see any seal (just two flat surfaces) and definitely no pressure required to close and lock the lid. I’m not sure if this is a revised model and the instructions have not been updated or a faulty model. Hopefully, I will never have to find out…

Master Lock Box Review
Very good lock box, sturdy and a decent size for putting in documents/paper work etc. Only thing that isn’t great is it’s fairly heavy which may be harder to move if you are older. It also has no bolting mechanism to the ground so is just kinda of a static brief case but all that aside I still think it’s value for money.

A good solid lockable safe box. The finish is not the best but it seems ok. Would have to test it by putting it in to a fire and by trying to open it (once locked) without the key/force-break in. To be able to give it a comprehensive review

The mechanism came off when I was trying to open the safe, now it will not lock or stay what looks like locked.

Sturdy and safe
Sturdy wee piece of kit this. We bought it for the valuables like passports and birth certificates, you know, stuff like that. The lock is simple enough and it has some heft to this beaut. Only downside here is I’m not exactly certain how it will hold up in a fire and the wife wont let me find out =(

I bought it to give a few extra minutes protection in case of a fire. That few extra minutes might just buy you enough time until the fire Brigade arrives at your home.
Secondary important function is the locking function. Probably just enough to deter opportunistic thefts but I’d say a determined thief will have it open in no time.

Good hard box with limited fire proofing based on time. Being honest though a determined person could bust it open. But as an at home locked box it can be easily moved around the home if you dont like keeping it in same place like a safe.

Ging leider zurck, weil in der Artikelbeschreibung falsche Mae angegeben waren und sie nicht da rein passte, wo sie hin sollte.
Difficult to lock
The safe feels very secure and quite heavy. I found the lid difficult to shut and I needed to kneel on it to lock it. As it is a strain to lock I was worried the key might bend or snap. So far it has been OK and the lid might ease with use.
Waste of money
The product did not have a key with it so I cannot use it .
It would cost me more to return it from France than I paid for it so it’s not if any uae to me
Value for money!
The fireproof box is just what we were looking for. It is a bit heavy but that must be a good thing. Well made!
