This lawnmower is quite heavy but does a good job cutting grass height adjustment easy to use and lead is quite long annoying thing instruction not clear setting it up apart from that is a good purchase.
Murray electric lawnmowe
Can’t praise highly enough! Excellent lawnmower easy to use picks up every blade of grass and easy to empty. Replaced a year old Flymo but is far superior. Instructions not very clear and too small but YouTube took care of that! Five year guarantee is a bonus.
Good performance well buil
I bought this in preference to the Bosch equivalent as the Bosch feels and is flimsier than the Murray. The Murray is also the second brand old Briggs and Stratton probably the biggest mower manufacturer there is. The merry feels robust and well made, it feels like it’s built on the same production line as the Hyundai mower.

Have always had a German sounding lawnmower, but this beats it Hanz down. Solid reliable and cuts like a Gillette (if they made lawnmowers) that is.
I really like this mower. It’s lighter than my last petrol model and easily glides over the lawn. I found it easy to assemble and did it quite quickly even though some of the reviews said differently. If I, an 84 year old, can do it then younger people should have no trouble. It was also a good price.

This replaced a brand new mower at a similar value from a well known brand in orange.
That one fell apart on first use and was sent back (no quibble thanks to Amazon) and I took a chance on this one.
I’m glad I did as it’s build quality is far superior, was easy to put together and is much lighter. I’ll be going back to Murray in the future, especially with the 5 year warranty.

Very very pleased with this mower, always had a hover mower before, but it became more hard work using it as I have grown older, thought I would try one of these mowers, and am I glad I did as it is so easy to push no effort at all , good and easy height adjustment, well pleased with it.

Cheap but good
Have a heavy-duty mower with roller which cuts well, but tends to flatten longer wet grass without cutting it. Wanted something quicker and lighter to use when the grass is long (first few cuts of the season) and this Murray worked surprisingly well. A real bonus is the ease with which you can adjust the height of cut. At the price, a bargain.
Fantastic mowe
This is a quality, powerful mower, excellent value for money. Easily assembled, love the big chunky wheels. Cut my very long grass effortlessly with no clogging. Would highly recommend.
Good bit of kit.
First and foremost I’ve only just bought this and used it once.
OK, first thing unpack take instructions and throw them in bin, they are useless, next use common sense and assemble, bit fiddley but not difficult.
I did a cut on wet longish grass on highest setting it support all expectations.

My best mower yet!
My last Bosch mower was good & lasted 9 years but this one is even better. I bought the wider one & I spend less time cutting the grass. The blade is super sharp. Great for my larger garden.
So far, so good.
This has had about 10 outings so far since I bought it earlier this summer and it hasn’t let me down yet. It’s well built if a bit plasticy but for 120 I don’t mind that. I only have a small bit of grass to cut so I’m not exactly putting this thing through it’s paces but I have owned Bosch and Flymo equivalents in the same price-bracket and I think (so far) this is better made. Fingers crossed it keeps going. Delivery was quick and it was well boxed.
Good mower for medium sized garde
Compact lightweight mower. Copes with long grass extremely well. Good large grass collection box that sits firmly on the mower. Lots of different height cutting levels. The trickiest bit to put together was the handle attachment to the lower part of the handle. The clips don’t sit as snuggly on my mower as they do in the demonstration video. At the moment I can think of no real negative for this mower and I’ve now used it 5 times and it hasn’t let me down on the cut or the manoeuvrability. I can happily recommend this mower.
Great Product, Bad Service From Amazon...
Murry lawnmower is a lovely machine, easy cutting less effort needed. A well built solid machine I would highly recommend this product.
Whats really disappoints me is the service from Amazon. after receiving my lawnmower I noticed on the side of lawnmower behind the back wheel the side bar was broken, this happened after my third cut. I contacted the supplier for warranty repair the company got back in touch in few days recommending to have the machine dropped off at my local repair centre which I did. After receiving further advice I was told that something heavy has been put on top which has caused the back wheels to be bent and damage of the side bar.
I hope Murry gets to see this post and strongly consider who handles your goods. great product tho…
Excellent light lawnmowe
Always bought flymo but decided to try something different, so glad I did. This lawnmower is so light glides across the grass and does a great cut on my thick lawn. Would definitely recommend
Love this lawn mower.
Absolutely great mower and well worth the money. I have had petrol mowers previously because we had a large area of grass to cut, this meant that every year having to drain the fuel for the winter and cleaning the carburettor in the summer. No more get it out the shed plug in and go. This mower was easy to assemble and is lightweight so manoeuvrability is easy. It comes with a 10m cable and easy locking latches to lock the handle in place. There is also a good sized grass box and a grass mulch. Soft grip handles, 7 different heights and a 1600 watt motor makes cutting even long grass easy.
Light to use.
I did look at various lawn mowers to replace my old one and eventually found this one at a great price. It works a dream and is very light for me to use. Definitely a good choice.

Cuts great and very lightweight. Cuts near to the edge also. All I would say is that the 32cm model is hard to store as the handle is not foldable unless you remove the screws at the edge.
Took me three days to work out how to build it!
Ok so absolutely brilliant lawnmower in all fairness and I’ve had one or two. However the instructions are a bloody nightmare. Not only for another mower but says things like simple in it! Well that’s not very true. Now I have covid so maybe my brain fog is to blame but if you fancy auditioning for the kripton factor or the crystal maze well go ahead and buy. Even after a YouTube search and ragging round living room trying to put the bloody handle on blood sweat and tears eventually I worked it out. Three days later I manage to cut grass but you just know the handle keeps on popping out!

Good lightweight mowe
The Murray lawnmower required very little assembly, however, fitting the handlebar into the two slots either side of the mower proved to be a little difficult! In the end a lot of brute force and they went in and the rest was easy enough. The mower is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. The carrying handle on top of the main body of the mower is very handy. My garden has several areas that need mowing around and this did the job very well. The basket that collects the cuttings is a little flimsy, but soon got the hang of taking it off and putting it back in place. So far no problems with cutting grass, even through the longer grass on the first cut. Overall, for the price very happy with my purchase.
I did a fair bit of research before buying this – had had a small Bosch mower beforehand but the handle broke and so was looking for something else. I was a bit unsure at first as I had not heard of Murray much before but its make of motor provides some reassurance.
I am very pleased with this mower – it’s excellent. It’s lightweight and so is very easy to manoeuvre. The handle is very well designed – running the width of the mower and is padded so you can grip it in any position and it’s comfortable. I actually put mine on with the handle pointing down which I think makes it more comfortable and easier to use. It does mean the power cable goes cross-ways over the front but it’s not a problem at all. Similarly, the stop handle is easy to keep hold of. Good choice of cutting heights and easy adjustment. Grass box holds a lot of grass and with the sides being mesh it makes it easier to empty. The only neutral (not negative) thing to say is that it hasn’t got a roller so you don’t get stripes if that’s your thing, but the compromise is it does make it lighter without. You can get up close to walls etc. I do think that the power cable would be better being orange, as with other mowers, rather than black as it does make it harder to notice when mowing. I really like this mower, it makes mowing the lawn a bit less tedious. You won’t be disappointed if you get it.
When I opened the box, I was surprised that the mower seems to be a refurbished one with dirts on wheels and paint peeled off! Further, when I assembled it, I couldn’t push the lower handle into the place for screwing. After several trial I gave up fixing it and did my first trial of mowing anyway.
I used number 5 in my lever selection and started up my first cut this year! It really easy to push and done the job nicely which is better than my last manual mower of Bosch. Therefore, I would keep this without regret!
BV great little mowe
This was my 3rd and somewhat desperate attempt to get a lawnmower that didn’t break after half an hour. And this seems so far to be very good. You need a microscope to read the assembly instructions which are only fit for borrowers and didn’t make much sense. I ended up going back to the original listing to try and get a visual idea of what it should look like and that seemed to work. My lawn was very long so I put it on the highest setting and went slow and it worked just fine. Will gradually lower it down to get a nice neat finish. Overall good
Best mower I have owned
Brilliant mower. I have used Flymo mowers for the last 30+ years, more out of habit. As my garden is by no means level, being on the side of a hill, and I am not getting any younger the Flymo was getting progressively harder to use also making my back ache. This Murray mower was so much easier to use even with the grass box attached and no raking up afterwards. Highly recommended, should have bought one sooner.

only issue i have is the stupid handle design, took ages getting the screws in to what looks like a simple insert and turn, really is a pain in the butt, got there in the end and as i say im very happy with the mower, just give yourself 15 mins or so till it all lines up and is actually usable, after that its all good

However … if your tall then possibly the great little lawnmower might not be for you unless you have a small lawn .
I’m 5’3 and it’s handle is very low … you do have to “stoop” ..

HANDLE DOES NOT FOLD FLAT
Bought this lawnmower 26/2/22 based on the manufacturers description that the “ergonomic handle bar folds away for easy storage.” Absolute nonsense, no it does not!!! This description is very misleading and should be rewritten to read as, “handle folds only partially to assist with storage.” The handle folds halfway down on itself but you will still have two side supports of 57 cm each (just measured it) that will stick up on either side of the cutting platform of the mower. If storage is not a problem for you, then this is a neat little lawnmower, which is ideal for small gardens. If you need the handles to fold flat for storage, then go for the 37 cm version – it definitely folds flat and can fit back into its box (my brother-in-law just bought the 37 cm version). The 32 cm cuts well, is not too noisy and is lightweight, making it very easy to handle. It arrived the following day with little recycling rubbish but had a dent in the cross bar of the handle. All in all, l would recommend this lawnmower but take care, as you may end up forced to buy a wheelie bin cabinate, as l have, in order to house it.
Great value for money and a sturdy build
Having read the reviews I wasn’t looking forward to assembling this lawnmower, but it took less than 5 mins.
The variable cutting height is so much better and far far easier to set than my old flymo. It cuts well my three smallish lawns and it is very light and easy to carry while being a sturdy design.
So far, after two sessions use I have no complaints at all, and much prefer it to my old flymo.
Aesthetically it looks like a formula one car out of the box.
Light and easy
This is a very light weigh mower easy to push, but difficult to build. Seems that some parts are not exactly machine very accurately. Holes look small due to paint filling them. A good push gets them in. Also notice it says in the instructions to put the cable tidy on the central cross bar. Clever that as there isn’t one.

ASSEMBLY AMBIGUITY
Bought for 67.90 on lightning deal, wanted a small lightweight mower for grass in my front garden (have a big Weibang petrol for big garden at rear, but dont fancy lugging it up steps every week!) This little mower cuts very well but is very lightweight & flimsy.. assembly OK but have some WD40 to hand to help push the handles home.. and be prepared as the instructions are for the 37cm & the 32cm. Included in the box was a “cable retain hang” (plastic clip thing) this hangs on the “lower handle”.. trouble is, there is no lower handle on the 32cm mower!!! (Why do manufacturers not just produce instructions for the 1 item you have purchased!!) The grass bag is reasonable, but the way it fits onto the mower is very weak and poorly designed, you have to push the metal bar back into the back to site the bag properly.. I am unconvinced that this will stand up to normal use, however, as stated it does cut well, it collected slightly damp grass OK yesterday and it was cheap.. we’ll see!!

This is a very good light mower. In having 5 cut heights it really does a great job. Much less work than a Hover and I should have swapped earlier. My only concern was the assembly of the arms where I did have issues. I was very concerned that I might break it but all good in the end.

Bought this as our hover-type mower was not cutting low enough. This machine did the job, it has 5 cutting settings, easy to switch between them and just really easy to use. We are very happy with it and our 14year old wizzes through the lawn in no time.

Can do a good job but cut grass too long in length and the motor struggles.

I bought this for my first house and easy to use and manoeuvre round the garden with ease. Isnt too heavy but still sturdy and holds a good amount of cuttings.
Defo recommend as im quiet small and female but no issues moving it etc.

Only used this mower 3 times so far and I have to say I impressed. Easier to use than a hover (which I have always had until now). The handle height is adjustable and the power control is easy. The cut height adjustor is easy. The lawn (only a small one by some standards) looks sooooo much better. The only criticisms I would have are that the locking devices on the handle are quite stiff (but I guess they need to be) and the handbook does not tell you what the cutting height gauge is – 1 is low and 5 is high. To date I would recommend this mower.

I would certainly recommend this lawnmower, the only negative as others have previously mentioned is that the cable is very short and you need to use an extension lead even in a small garden.
This mower cuts long grass
This mower was easy to put together, looks great and of good quality, I needed a mower that would need to be able to cut my very long grass and this coped very well with it. I am delighted with this mower and would recommend it to others.

Only down fall is that the grass box is small, but I don’t mind as I surpose that if it was bigger then it would make the mower heavier to push when full, Thought when it arrived it looked cheap, but me & hubby love it & the ease of use & looks can be deceiving

This has a quality feel to it.
I replaced by old reliable Qualcast that finally gave up after 10 years. I looked at reviews and was disappointed to see some poor reviews for top brands. The after service reviews on this brand were OK so thought id give it a try. Assembly was fine, although I can see some people struggled a bit. A good quality feel and about the same weight as my last one. Really easy to use and the cut is excellent. It’s impossible to know how it will perform over time, but I’m very pleased with it for now and would recommend.

Took some working out and later resolved it myself. If the instruction booklet was improved, then the assembly time could of been a lot quicker. Once assembled it was easy to use and cuts the grass well. The mulcher option is brilliant and saves on emptying the basket. Best on grass that is not to high in depth. Found the mower ideal for my lawn which is medium sized, on a slope and not that even.

Once assembled it was easy to use and cuts the grass well. The mulcher option is brilliant and saves on emptying the basket. Best on grass that is not to high in depth. Found the mower ideal for my lawn which is medium sized, on a slope and not that even.

At the price, its a good mower. Cuts the grass very well. Follow the instructions in regards to cutting height and grass length.

Just the job
Easy to assemble and a cuts the grass with ease
Nice machine
This is a strong mower.hight adjustment is easy and appears to be robust. Wheels are large and easy to push. Motor is not overly noisy and had plenty of power . Grass box is a good size. All in all a nice mower.
Picture Instructions dreadful
Have not tried the mower yet. although it looks very good. Never had a Murray Lawn Mower before. I had trouble fixing the top hand rail to bottom hand rail, screws appeared too short. This was the only trouble I had with assembly. You need a magnifying glass to see the pictures in the manual and even then the instruction about fitting the top handle onto the bottom handle was no clearer. I got onto Amazon for replacement screws, what a fiasco. Foreign lady had no idea how to send replacement screws, in the end she arranged for another mower to be sent to me and arranged for the initial one to be collected. The replacement mower came very quickly and the screws were exactly the same. I then had the idea to Google Murray lawn mower 37cm video assembly. After much effort with the particular two screws in question (which were correct after all) I managed to connect the two rails. This was the only assembly trouble I had. Why can’t manufacturers print clear instructions in their manuals, not everyone has a computer. At the time I also emailed Murray via their website because I thought I needed replacement screws and am awaiting a reply.
Lower part of handle not grea
Very light weight easy to use however putting together handles not easy took ages to get the lower part of handle in to plastics holes .really really tight fit due to end of metal splaying due to the hole drill position had to ask someone to help was afraid to use to much pressure
