Bought this for my nephew and he loved it. The torch is quite small but perfect for a 4-year-old passionate about dinosaurs. It has a lot of different pictures of dinosaurs so you can’t get bored with it.

Got this as a present for my 3 year old. He loves switching the discs in and out and shining it on the wall but can’t really tell what the pictures are unless you refer to the back of the packaging!

My 3 year old grandson absolutely loves this ! He uses it mainly when he goes to bed, as it’s perfect for the darkness! He is into Dinosaurs, so he loves seeing the bigger species! There are different themes if dinosaurs are not the thing for you!

I bought this toy among other things for my great nephew on his 5th birthday who loves the film “Jurassic World” not very sure it could be successful but…He loved it! Proving once more that the best present hasn’t to be the most expensive one.

The torch shows the pictures of the dinosaurs very clearly even when still quite light in room.
Torch is adjustable to make the pictures bigger or smaller. The discs included are quite small but are easy to fit into the torch and do provide a fair number of pictures.

Can’t really comment on battery life or whether it will last but my 2year old son absolutely loves this torch! Could do with being a bit bigger but can’t complain for the price.

Good for viewing "Dinoroars"!
Bought for 21 month old grandson who is fascinated by “dinoroars”! He loved seeing them projected onto a white wall.
At that young age, an adult or older child should operate the torch (the plastic slides set could be harmful if swallowed at that age)

Highly recommend this product! It’s a great way to bond with your child at night time before bed when it’s dark. Good for social skills and understanding the world. It really is a lovely little product for the price! Well worth the money. The only thing I would say is children under 4 will need assistance changing over the film reels as they can be a bit fiddly/tricky for younger ages and can get jammed/stuck if put in the wrong way (if stuck they can easily be taken out by an adult). Over all excellent product and deliver.

My daughter (2) absolutely loves this. She’s obsessed with sharks and sea life in general. Hours of fun, but needs help with changing the disc and we don’t let her play with it alone due to small parts

The picture isn’t so great when shining on wall I tried close and far and its hard to see as it doesn’t seem to focus right looks like a blur.

Interesting concep
My dd loves it and it’s very informative as well. We bought the Dinosaur set. The quality of the picture is a bit blurred. The batteries provided lasted for only few days. Interesting concept but the quality of the torch is a bit disappointing.

Functions well but for my son (3 years old) it would be better with more images of dinosaurs and less of fossils / claws. A bit more cartoon meets animal planet rather than the relics from the back of the museum would entertain him much more.
Clear pictures
The only reason for 4 stars is that the item is quite small, as expected, so needs some sort of safe bag to keep the bits in as they can be easily lost. However my granddaughter was delighted. Needs shaded room for the pictures and looks great on the ceiling. Deserves 4 3/4 stars. I’ll look for a container.

Got this for my two year old grandaughter for xmas, she loves dinosaurs & loved this (more for the torch part).
Its the first time she has had a torch to play with & loved the fact that when you shone it on the wall she could see a dino! We had to focus it for her & she hasn’t got the hang of changing anything yet but still worth the money.
Also the cat loves chasing the light around the floor!
Better than I expected
I was a little doubtful about this for a 2 year old but he loved it. Even his baby sister watched it. Once the picture is in focus and on a plain wall, the pictures are colourful and have good detail. Would be nice if you could buy different discs without having to buy another torch.

The torch is small but this is actually the perfect size for a child! My 3yo loves it and after reading the reviews i was worried about the pictures being blurry but if you turn the white bit on the end it actually adjusts the sharpness of the picture making it the perfect present! 5* 😀

Tiny torch
I did not realise this torch would be so tiny. Good for little hands I guess, but how little? Bought 2, one for 4 year old, the other for 3 year old. They’ve had great fun with them. Need to sort out the focus to get a good picture. Comes with 3 small ‘reels’, these may easily be lost. Given 4 stars because they were so, very small.

Given to a five-year old as an extra gift. Although small, it fascinated him and he enjoyed looking at the projected pictures on the wall with much interest.

I thought it was a bit on the smallish side but my Grandson loved it & im told the projection on the wall was a decent size. That’s what’s most important.

Tiny,keyring size,good as stocking filler or for a child to give as a gift to a friend,will fit into a kids pocket no problem havent opened packaging yet so don’t know how bright it is as its a gift for grandchild

My two-year-old nephew likes two things! Playing with torches and dinosaurs, so this seemed like the most obvious gift in the world. The torch was smaller than I thought it would be and the batteries didn’t last long, but he absolutely loves it…he even takes it to bed to shine on the ceiling before he goes to sleep. If there is a little dino lover in your life, this is a really great stocking filler.

Damaged packaging
Item seems fine… little smaller and less robust than expected but will be loved by the kids I’m sure.
Came absolutley battered in the box however- folded, creased and with front packaging missing either from being wet or being scraped on something. Looks an absolute mess . This was for a gift as well but I was able to explain to the parent who was fine. Really disappointed. Damaged packaging was placed in the robust amazon box so it was the delivery that was the problem… item was clearly damaged before it got se

Bought for my 2 year old brother who loves dinosaurs. Excellent value for money, batteries are included which is a bonus and could play with it straight away. Images come out clear and detailed and with 3 discs of images there is plenty to look at! With up close pictures of claws, fossils, skeletons and teeth. Would definitely recommend!
The item arrived on time
Unfortunately it was a birthday gift and I haven’t seen it working. The child hasn’t seen it yet.
Better than it looks when delivered
It was smaller than expected when it arrived so disappointing at first glance. Once opened you can see the torch is good quality as are the slides. My 3 year old loves his and on second thought the torch is the perfect size for his little hands. Perfect gift for the price.

Great little extra gift for my Dino mad 4 yo. Needs LR44 batteries which is quite common in kids toys these days. Batteries lasting well and seems robust to last for some time with him. Like the fact you can focus turning the end of the torch.
A bit Fuzzy
Great fun little product but the picture is fuzzy and out of focus. This can be remedied by putting a little back pressure on the picture wheel to change the focal distance. So it is an inconvenience born of either poor design or manufacture, otherwise, a great little stocking filler.

Amazing little torch. Bought this for my dads birthday off my son (he picked it) and it is so good. Images show up really clear and all 3 of his grandsons loved it. It was so good I have now ordered the sea creatures one fir my nephews birthday.

The disks are pretty small and will probably be lost pretty quickly , a small case for all the pieces would have been a nice touch to go with the torch and disks.
Bright 4th day constant used and still not broken (belive me its a big deal in our house xD) enough small to my 3years old nephew to turn it on, hold it, change the picture so he capable to play alone with it doesn’t need constant help (but don’t leave him unsupervised… Never know)

This was a little gift for my godson who is 3 years old and he loved it. The discs however can be easily lost somewhat and he had to learn how to insert the discs into the torch. Other than that, he loved it.

A lovely little toy
A tad fiddly, particularly for my young daughter but it’s a nice toy. The slides project very clearly onto a smooth surface. You have to be very close to the surface to make out what is being projected – a minor drawback.

Brilliant for money my boy loves it.
Wasn’t expecting much for the price but my toddler loves dinosaurs so thought this might amuse him for a little while. He absolutely loves it and shines it on the ceiling and walls every night and have to shut the curtains so he can do it in the day as well. Once u focus the pictures depending how far away the surface is you are shinning on they become very clear and easy for him to spin the dial through the pictures I just have to change between the 3 reels that come with it for him.

Absolutely brilliant!! 3 year old grandson clearly thought I was the best Grandma when I gave him this. We made up games, ran screaming around the house and tried to scare his Mummy. If you want to go right to the top of the grandparents league table then this is the toy to buy. Educational? Of course it is but such fun!! I’d have paid much more for this it’s so good!

Fun for young childre
This is a fab little torch- my 2 year-old twins LOVE this. It’s great value for money, and the different discs have good content on them. If it’s not clear on the instructions you need to twist the light end of the torch to focus the image. Have recommended to others and even bought a second one with a different theme.

My child loves this torch. However the battery is a round watch like one which is accessible to even a small child. The product would be much better with a child safer AAA. Any dinosaur loving preschooler would enjoy this.
It is a little fiddly to change the wheels for a small child but manageable.

Great little toy, my 3 year old girl loves it. Although, I think it was a bit on the expensive side. I was expecting it to be a little bigger than it is, for the price. You can get a decent torch for the same price maybe cheaper. So maybe I was expecting more. But overall it’s good and works great.
