I like my combination microwave very much and was pleased to get it for such a good price.
    Pro’s. It’s a powerful 1000w
    Easy to clean
Has a good easy to follow manual.
Cons. Printing colour on the control panel
    is very pale.
The grill function does not brown
anything I put in. Things just get very
hot. I’ve checked, and the element
glows red, it just doesn’t brown the
    food.

As this model is rather more complex than my last one, it is nice to have a well written handbook. Also excellent illustration. At the moment I am very satisfied with my purchase.

After a rocky start the first one arrived faulty, but amazon arranged collection for faulty one and a replacement within days , which after that it’s exactly what I wanted a good combination oven which is a good size without looking bulky then once you get to grips with it its easy enough to work so all round I’m happy with my purchase

As my new gas hotpoint oven is useless because top of food burns bottom not cooks I wanted to buy this oven. Definitely cooks better as convection oven. Microwave and grill is well too . I made a good choice to buy this.

Early days, but far more complex than I need. All very clever stuff, but this particular older person only requires basic functionality.

I bought the first model of this microwave 25 years ago and didn’t realise until recently that you’re not supposed to have a microwave for more than 10 years. Well, it worked perfectly so I didn’t have a reason to get rid of it. I decided to replace it with the newest model and it hasn’t disappointed. It has additional features and the only thing you can’t do in it is fry food – but who fries foods nowadays anyways? It’s quite stylish also and fits well in he kitchen.

Fantastic Combi oven grill microwave. I got this to replace my previous much older model which finally broke. Well worth the money. I use it instead of the normal oven as it is easier and more accurate to control. No kitchen is complete without this.

I am using this product for everything just like a ‘normal’ oven. Fantastic, it is actually better than our built in oven. So quick when I do baguettes, sausages under the grill, bacon OMG!! When I make my jerk chicken, roast chicken, roast pork to name but a few, absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this oven to EVERYONE. Buy one now, what are you waiting for?

Super method of doing jacket potatoes.

Performs well, but read the manual first. The highest microwave setting is very powerful and a mug of milk may easily boil over – about 1 minute 20 seconds is adequate. To be safe I often press the microwave button 3 times and give it 2 minutes at 600 watt. The oven is very light and the button to open the door is stiff, so unless the back of the oven is touching the wall it will slide on the worktop.

Bought this to replace my old Panasonic which was great,I used it as my main cooker. I am still getting used to this one as it is not quite the same. I haven’t made a cake in it yet,but for other stuff I’m finding I need it on lower heat. For combination on this one you have to press convection and micro,my other one was just one button press but it is a lot more expensive now..I shall get used to this model the more I use it and I am pleased with it.It is a compact size but a large turntable.

It’s very simple and easy to use, so far, the white finish looks a bit cheap , and the door opener , seems that it may break easily , it’s got a very good sized turntable, I don’t know why manufacturers have to use polystyrene instead of cardboard, but there you go , replacing a Sanyo stainless steel one , I had , had for many years

Bought to replace 40 Litre Sharp which was too big as family got smaller. The interior stainless steel does not appear to be as good quality as Sharp was. The back panel always shows some kind of marks on it, like when you get oil on water! Cleanliness may be an issue as you can’t see the fan area, unless you use a hand mirror The clock, to me, is superfluous, most kitchens already have one, and who wants to reset it each time it’s disconnected from the mains. So far have only cooked fish fingers, Yorkshire puds and frozen meals, all of which were perfectly done once I’d downloaded temperature conversation chart. Manual and cookbook are good.

I’ve been thinking for sometime about buying this machine to replace a standard microwave, and can say I’m so happy I did. I cook on a gas Rayburn which is totally different, so I’m having to adjust to just warming up croissants in the combo oven, using the grill for cheese on toast, jacket potatoes etc., because I wouldn’t heat up a huge Rayburn just for that. I bake cakes so that will be the next test.

People on here have been so helpful and supportive answering my questions, as have the Panasonic Team. I’m learning to cook again in a different way, but loving it. This machine had given me flexibility. Love it!

We bought this to replace a previous Panasonic microwave oven of similar specification which despite fairly heavy use has served well for around 10 years and then only met its demise when dropped by a decorator. Very pleased with it, the build quality appears excellent and although the controls are a little different from the previous machine it was immediately easy to use. The rack supplied was a little high for some of our requirements, but we retained that from the previous oven, so that was no problem.

This is primarily a microwave and the microwave facility is what is used mostly so why is the microwave select button placed third way down from the select buttons. It is difficult to select and I have had to place culoured stickers by the buttons so as make it easier to remember. That is my only criticism of the unit. Other than the design feature I complained about the Unit works fine

This is the second one of these that I’ve purchased – the last one lasted for years and was used every single day – the microwave and the convention oven. The microwave has an “Inverter” – not sure what that is but it seems to make it extremely powerful. I very rarely use my range oven – except at Christmas etc for larger numbers – as the convection oven is excellent too! I love this microwave and recommend it to all my friends and some have actually purchased one! I’d say that this is the best combination microwave on the market! And a good price too.

It looks good and seems to work well, the turntable mechanism rumbles at times, off putting for a new machine, the individual touch pads are rather small and a bit fiddley, after my previous Microwave which was much easier to operate, the 4 feet are very hard and small so the whole thing moves when pressing button to open door, I have stood it on rubber pads and it.s fine.

Purchased to replace its predecessor which is 26 years old and had began to not cook as thoroughly over 5 min. Revamped and the latest in digital display and up 150 on heat to a 1000 which obviously takes a fraction less time to cook food.

Also much less heavy to lift and move about than the original. Easier to clean too.

This was a replacement for a similar model we had for some years, but this model also features a convection oven which is superb. Being just 2 people at home now the main oven has become more or less redundant. Not much you can’t cook in this little beauty and a lot cheaper too I’m sure. Very pleased.

Really well made, plenty of features (some I will never use!). My only criticism. is that there is very little friction between the feet and the work top so you have to hold it round the back while you press the control buttons (the buttons need quite strong pressure.

This is an excellent attractive well built machine. It is a good microwave but does so much else. Do not be put off by the apparent complexity of the machine. Take it step by step and soon you will be master of this apparently complicated, do most everything item! The handbook is also, unlike some, quite well put together!
Off putting at first this machine soon becomes a friend!

This product has been superb, very easy to use and with great results, very large glass tray for microwave use and fast and powerful 1000w. the ingenious microwave and convection combination is extremely effective also and food appears much faster in my opinion locking in flavour as it goes. 5 out of 5. I do have to say that the seller of this product also went above and beyond with an incorrect purchase from me so also thank you.

Had to return the microwave because the turntable motor was making a crazy grinding sound. This cost me GBP 28 to return. I could have sent it to Panasonic for repair for free but I needed a microwave and didn’t want to wait who knows how long for a warranty repair. Also, brand new microwave so why not just send me a new one rather than a warranty repair.
Turntable on replacement microwave doesn’t make the noise but also doesn’t seem to move that smoothly. It’s kind of a juddery rotation rather than a smooth one.
Cooked a roast chicken in it and it came out pretty good considering the cook time was only 40mins. A pain in the ass to clean the microwave afterwards though! Small space, fat splatter etc. Nice and golden skin though.

The controls on this thing are a little different from my old microwave but I got used to it pretty quickly.
I’ve used this for microwaving, grilling and conventional cooking.
So far this was been excellent!
Grilling small items is super-quick as heat-up is only a minute or so.

I purchased this microwave to replace previous Panasonic, which I had for 12 years, so hopefully will be just
as reliable. The features are virtually the same as the old machine but with a few extras. The 30sec press button
is very useful and the programme numbers help with auto roast and auto cook. The timer add is good too.
The only downside(which is why I gave it 4 stars] is the press buttons are a little faint to read, particularly in
low light, otherwise enjoying using this machine.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersWe bought this model to replace the Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ, which we had given up the ghost after years of good service. Ideally we would have preferred to simply buy a new version of the same model, but, as that wasn’t an option, we looked for something that appeared to match the overall specification as much as possible.

We preferred the look of our previous model – it looked more like an oven than a typical microwave. We also preferred the “pull down” door over the side opening door, as we find it makes better and more convenient use of space. We also preferred the capacious nature of the flat bed in our previous model to the turntable in this one.

However, this model does seem to cook more efficiently than our previous model, which may well be down to having a turntable rather than a flat bed. Consequently, we are able to reduce cooking times and / or cooking temperatures to deliver an equivalent result.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe sent the first one back because the hinge on the door was creaking and sounded as if it was going to, at some time, snap. Within 24 hours it was collected and the following day, a replacement arrived. That was good service.
This one has started to make a creaking noise from the door hinge too, so I am beginning to think it has something to do with heat build up.
It’s our second Panasonic. The previous one lasted us about 15 years, with no creaking sounds from the door hinges at all. We only replaced it because the interior light failed and we decided to replace the old model. My guess is that this one won’t last anywhere near as long. Nevertheless, it’s working well for now and for the reduced price, we are happy with it.

I now get hot microwave food, plus … I can time the grilling and cooking to stop and ping when ready. Magic – haven’t burnt anything since I got it. Strangely there’s no stale burnt taste to my convection/grilling cooking anymore, but I’m sure someone could sell me a flavouring.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to use, tho had had a similar one previously. Lots of instructions and some combinations of cooking , I don’t think I would attempt. Fast and straightforward for everyday use including roast chicken but have to remember the ‘first ping’ which indicates only half way through cooking. Fam have been caught out with this and thought the cooking time was ended. Ruined a few desserts this way and could easy give food poisoning if all users are not informed of this.

I don’t often change my appliances but when my old combination microwave oven developed control panel issues and became difficult to use, I decided to replace it with a Panasonic NN-CT54JWBPQ inverter combination microwave oven. I was pleased to find that whilst the Panasonic has a similar footprint to my old oven, it has more interior space and certainly cooks well – however I have a couple of side-issues with it, namely that when cooking the door mists up internally and whilst the oven is in operation it wipes out my wifi signal, something that my old oven never did. The first issue is just an annoyance but I use WiFi in the kitchen for radio (and online/catchup TV) so it matters to me. If these issues doesn’t affect you then I can thoroughly recommend the Panasonic NN-CT54JWBPQ combination microwave oven.

This device is very easy to use with good-sized buttons. The microwave cooks very evenly and is much better than a Morphy Richards microwave I had previously. A pouch of rice cooked perfectly in two minutes and it was obvious that the cooking was very even. The rice was nice and fluffy. It reheats food very well indeed; quickly, evenly and to temperature.

I have also used the oven as an extra to our main ones and and it heats plates up well and also cooks food well.

I really wish I had bought this before now.

I am very happy with the appearance and features of this product although I have not yet used it as a convector oven. I need a little more time with the book to brave myself into using this feature. My biggest disappointment was the delivery by Amazon. I suffer from a chronic lung condition in addition to macular sight problems and being 75 yrs old. Nevertheless the delivery men refused to lift the item inside my home into the desired place where I wanted it (3 metres). Apparently Amazon have a ruling that delivery men must not enter any property which means that in future I shall never order anything of a large or heavy description.

Bought this as our other similar Panasonic bust, we’d had it a few years. We did try another model first before this but the noise was incredible. So we took that back and ordered this as we’ve had about four of these over the years. Just wish they would last longer, the microwave bit tends to give up and that’s it. But they do last a while but not long enough. Cooks well and quite versatile and reasonably quiet.

This one is small than my previous Panasonic 40lt. It’s a good size inside and very smart looking. Very similar programs to my last one so I am familiar with it. Although I have made a point to checked some functions and the guide as its been a few years since I looked at the operating instructions.

One minor niggle I have noted for the would be purchaser –
It is very lightweight and initially moved whenever I pressed the door open so have a rubber mat under to grip it in place. I hadn’t placed it directly against a wall.

Good Oven, single grill and multi choice pre-programmed menu.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersFirstly this is a very nice mirowave in white, and a good bit cheaper than the silver one. This is the one i am reviewing. Model NN-CT54JW stainless steel interior looks very up market compared to others, these type of microwaves are supposedly sold as a 3 in 1. Microwave, Oven, and grill. Although i think the Oven as a convection oven is maybe not the same as an electric oven in a normal cooker. This one uses the grill function together with a fan to mimic an electric oven, i think i have that right, which is OK, as long as this set up works, which in my opinion it does. I tried a large size pizza using the oven, and it tasted just as good as my normal electric oven. The glass turntable is a massive 34 cm across, a lot larger than my previous one, which was just a microwave, its handy to have the different cooking options available if you need them.

The operation of all the buttons, and what each press will do, had me a bit worried at first, my last one just had 2 knobs, which was very simple, i tried one of these digital type ones years ago, but changed it for a simpler one, as i could not make sense of all the buttons, it was too much of a headache. but luckily before i bought this one, i knew exactly how to work each button, and what each press will do, as i saw a video on you tube by Lords Electrical, a 9 minute video with the guy showing every operation of the buttons in a very simple and understandable way, watched it twice and i could make sense of everything this microwave has to offer before it arrived. I highly recommend watching this video if the digital touch pad with all those buttons start to feel like the deck of the star ship Enterprize. Just search for this make and model on you tube, and this video should show up, although he uses the silver one to describe the operation of this machine.

As some reviewers have said, their is a small judder in the turntable, nothing to worry about, as it does not affect the cooking at all, something to keep in mind though. Size wise, it is a large interior, without taking up much room on the countertop, similar makes are far more deeper in size, as others have said the power cord is fairly short 90cm or so, fitted on the right side of the machine as you look at it from the front, perfect in my case, but they could have made it a bit longer. If you are use to just a microwave on its own like my last one, then you need to know that when this one is finished cooking the motor stays on for a couple of minutes or so after you take out your food and close the door, a bit disconcerting at first, but this is normal with this microwave.

There are a myriad of makes and models of these microwaves for sale, as panasonic have a good name for breadmakers, i thought i would try this one, so far i am glad i did, it feels well made, stainless steel interior looks very clean and professional, you can clearly see whats cooking inside, a good bright light, and a gleaming white colour will look good in most kitchens, if i need to change my review of this microwave, i will update it if something goes wrong, which i am hoping, will not be any time soon. again i highly recommend watching the Lords Electircal video on you tube, i may not have bought this make and model if i did not find that video.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product, bought for new home while it was being renovated and without a proper oven. Have been using it for 10 months now and it hasn’t let me down.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe door is not a tight fit and steam escapes. The start button is very loose.

The first Panasonic microwave lasted me for many years so I ordered another one to replace it when finally it stopped working. So far (approx 6 months) I am very pleased.

I have purchased these cookers before and think they are the best, so have now returned to panasonic again. So easy to use with many functions, cooks great jacket potatoes and find the recipes are useful

This is a replacement for another Panasonic combi that got past it’s sell by date. Easy to use, efficient, smart on the kitchen top, I’m very pleased with it. The oven & grill are more effective than my swish main cooker, and the combi use makes cooking so much quicker.

Well designed combination microwave. Very versatile and takes full size plates. Compact overall size means it will fit into even a small workspace. {Recommend you check out the model number on the manufacturer’s website first, download the manual and check positioning guidance before purchase.} Upgrade on previous model that was grubby from use but still in good working condition and donated elsewhere. This newer model has all the same excellent attributes as it’s predecessor. It even has options to enable young (or not so young) novice cooks to fend for themselves rather than just rely on “bing-bong” meals although it does them too.

Bought to replace a similar Panasonic that died after only 3 years, but that had replaced a Panasonic that was still going well after 20 years and stayed with a previous house, so hopefully the last one was an aberration. Does a couple of baked potatoes beautifully in about 15 mins. Plenty of programs, few of which I’ve used. Happy with my purchase.

Love this combination oven, it does everything I want it to do, easy to use and cooks everything perfectly. Great for people living on their own as it saves heating a big oven for one meal. Recommended to me by a friend who loves it too. Highly recommended

I had bought this microwave to replace a 10 Year old Panasonic that had given excellent service.
It was easy to set up and I followed the instructions to use the convection oven for 5 mins to get rid of any factory oil.
However the unit sounded like it had a loose part and had a very noisy rattle… I used it for 3 weeks with no issues unless I used the convection oven which continued to sound very very noisy. It was so bad it made me think twice about using it.
I then reported the problem to Amazon Customer Service who replied in 10 minutes. They advised they would send a replacement unit out immediately. This was amazing service and I cannot be more pleased with their response.
The replacement as arrived and the Oven Function is quiet as I would have expected.
Will this oven last as long I am not sure as i think that items these days are built to a price and not quality.

Bought this for my son. His previous one was a Panasonic and was easy to use. He lives on his own so the combi is great for everyday needs. No need to light his main oven. Easy to clean, extremely reliable brand. 10/10

This was bought as a replacement for an older model. My experience with this brand has been very good. Excellent for grilling, I hardly use my large oven as the fan oven in this is so reliable

My old Panasonic combi oven died after16 years duty. This model is virtually identical but lighter and not quite as bulky. easier to clean around! The controls are slightly easier to use but all in all it is the perfect replacement for a much loved microwave. let’s hope it lasts as long
