The pet door is easy to install and works as it should. The only con is that when the flap is closed, the cat needs to push very hard to open it.
Finally got this fitted which was easy enough.
Good quality my cat wouldn’t use to begin so had to tape up but removed the magnet so he now goes in and out easier better then me letting him ou
I bought this as a direct replacement for a cat flat my parents bought over 20 years ago and it is exactly the same, simple switch over and the cat was ready to test it out! Simple design, and goes to show that if the design “ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

Decent catflap but make sure your cat is strong enough for your cat to push through it
We have had to take on of the magnetic strips off for now because our 5 month old is to small to push it ope
If you get this for a kitten/smaller cat or perhaps even just whilst you’re teaching a regular size cat I would reccomend removing the magnet attached to the flap as it is quite strong and required too much force for my kittens to push through the flap.
The magnet comes off fairly easily if you pull from the corner and work your way around the plastic clips and does not prevent the lock system from working.
I don’t think there will be any issues re-attaching when they are bigger if we feel it’s needed (the flaps aren’t installed on our house door but rather our shed which is sheltered so wind blowing isn’t an issue for us)
If not for this I might have had to return the flaps so it would be good if this was highlighted as it seems like a good feature.
Bought as a replacement for old cat flap where the rubber draft excluding edges had eroded. And was perfect match. Arrived promptly, and was fitted in less than half an hour (two screws) Would recommend
We did have to trim the tunnel a little to the thickness of the door panel, though with a multi tool cutter this was really easy.
All fittings supplied, and total time to install from start to finish approx 20mins.
Very pleased, it’s of great quality and sure to last another 15 years.
This cat flap is well made, durable and easy to install. The tunnel on the outside really helps keep the wind/reason and leaves out but also makes it harder for the cat to bring any “presents in!
I’ve had a few of these,generally quite good, when I have a breakage ( usually a neighbors cat charging through it and breaking the flap) the hole is already cut and takes just a few minutes to replace as it’s a direct swap ,probably the main reason for not changing, and yes would and probably will buy again.thanks.
The installation was okay and my cat learnt to use it fairly quickly. He generally will only use it to get into the house and is not keen on exiting through the flap possibly due to the magnetic catch being quite strong.
We haven’t used the lock so I can’t comment on it other than it appears to be easy to use.

Having 8 cats it needed to be a tough one and this does just the job especially when they try to go though it at the same time. Till they realise that is a impossibility. It certainly has taken a beating but still no cracks. Amazing.
I fitted myself but already had a custom made hole but very sturdy and suitable for my two kitties.
I like being able to lock from the inside fir when I need to contain them for a trip to the vets. Can lock when we go away
This was a replacement for an older cat flap which had been professionally fitted. Easy enough to replace the old one but I can’t comment on the ease of fitting one from scratch. The 4-way locking system is very easy to operate while the cats have never had a problem in using it.
Does the job bud with the magnetic band is imposibil for my cat to go through. I’m using it without the magnetic band and works well.
We had an old version of this cat flap in our door. So it took 2 minutes to replace like for like. Took the magnet out at first as kitten was too small/lazy to push open. Magnet is now back in and it works perfectly.
Needed to replace our ancient cat flap. This one looked the same so I took a chance, and it fitted perfectly. Screw holes in correct position, and they send you an assortment of screws so you can choose the correct length. I’d have replaced it years ago if I had realised it was this easy. Very pleased.
Strong. Easy to install. The cats mastered it in no time at all. No draughts come through. It was fairly inexpensive and does a great job. I would definitely recommend it and buy another if necessary.
Bought as a replacement for an earlier Staywell cat flap which had lasted for many years. This was a perfect fit – it is good that the dimensions and fixings haven’t changed. But the flap is now more opaque which means the cat can’t see through it so easily, and I can’t think why the manufacturer thought it needed alteration . No doubt if puss was writing this, it wouldn’t get 5 stars ! But delivered very quickly at a very competitive price so happy to recommend !
The item was delivered in quick time. It was easy to fit and looks great in our new rear upvc door. Kitty has had no issue using it. Next step, to teach kitty to wash up 😉
I have bought three of these…..they are great BUT we have a sturdy Frenchie who thinks she is a small dog like her Yorkshire Terrier ‘sisters’. In my husbands words “The little fat one broke it….!” so easy to order an identical one….not so easy to get him to replace it but after much nagging it’s done.
Already had same cat flap but my cats broke the plastic flap so was pleased to find the same one at such a great price. Unscrewed the broken tired looking cat flap and fitted new one with ease. A like for like swap and looks lovely. Great produc
Replaced an older one which my cat had destroyed when locked. This fit straight into the gap and took no more than 5 minutes to fit.
A very easy, like for like, replacement. We have three cats and they were all a little reluctant to make the change as the magnetic closure is harder to use than the old one. But we persevered and they got the hang of it after a couple of weeks. They still sometimes have a moan (I guess that is in the cat nature) but get in and out when they have to.
Easy to fit using the template provided and works perfectly. Easy to lock/unlock.

It’s really good, really cheap, but by God the magnetic strip is strong. My big stupid Tom has to smash his head against it repeatedly to get in and he’s a brute.
On the bright side it doesn’t let any draft through. Or cats. But overall decent for the money

Just the features you need, nothing else. My cats seem to like the rounded belly area. Very good at holding shut when windy.
My cat had broken the internal door of the cat flap, so ordered the exact same one, in the hope it would fit. It was easy to fit and the tunnel part makes it sturdier. So far my cat hasn’t broken this one.
Everything about this cat flap is fine, the locking, installation, size, the only issue is for my cat as she finds it difficult to push open, maybe the magnet is just a little to strong, but the wind stays out.
Took about 20 minutes to fit in our pvc back door. Cat using it regularly. Down side is room is much colder.
