Mine came without a timer but used a timer you can get from any supermarket and just set it to run for two hours before I go to bed. It’s so nice to get into a lovely warm bed and when I get in it gives me the aaah feeling. I am considering changing the timer for a smart plug so that I do not have to go to bed at a set time.
My daughter has really appreciated the warmth of this blanket.

This blanket has been really good. It’s easy to use and dors the job well. I have it on low heat just before I enter my bed and it’s been pleasant especially for my joint issues.
The only downside is the vertical cord is too short by two feet as my bed /mattress is quite tall – so I will have to get a sting it king shoelace to make up the gap.
Simple and straightforward to put on, I haven’t even used the straps to tie it in place as it hasn’t moved. It heats up really fast so it’s unnecessary to switch on sooner than a few minutes before bedtime. Good quality. Delighted.

Produces a great heat and you can switch it down a bit and keep it on overnight.
My only grumble, and the reason for four stars, is that the control is rather awkward to use. The plastic seems very fragile and it isn’t easy to switch heat settings. You need to be careful.

Love this. Heats the bed so well and is just great for cold Winter nights. I found the tie tabs a bit fiddly to begin with but once the blanket is in place it’s great and the control is so easy to use. The top setting is great to pre heat and then you can click down to 2 if you want to read for a while. Good buy. Would recommend this blanket.
Oh wow, what a wonderful feeling sliding into a warm, toasty, cosy bed. No more freezing feet. The arthritic bones are lulled to sleep. It’s my favourite purchase. I adore this, it’s great. I didn’t think I’d be so happy with a blanket but there you go!

I can’t really say much about this as it was a gift for mum.
The ties were a little awkward to use as rather than have the elasticated corners, you need to tie under the mattress.
The other thing mum mentioned was how hot this gets – she doesn’t need to put it on too far in advance. This quickly heats up.
Mum said it is comfortable and it does the job as described, which I’m happy about as this was good value for money.
Ok so I’ll start by saying that the what from the pad and I say for a reason !!is amazing love the design of it the quality of the control but the power cable is way to short for a start and as I said already it looks more like a large pad than a blanket as advertised it’s far far to small and I just ordered a double as I have a double bed of if needed a king size to fit my bed properly apart form them two issues I’m happy with it heat wise
I purchased two of these one double and one king size , I’ve had these roughly two weeks now and the double no longer works . The king size which is on my bed is great it heats brilliantly fits great and is comfortable under my sheet . The control is simple with different settings and it does heat up quickly it keeps you lovely and warm . The double just stopped working which is on my sons bed . He has now pushed his bed up to the radiator in his room which will do the job until spring , guess it may be a case of hit and miss as the king is still going strong
So far this blanket has proved invaluable for the cold nights. I find a setting of 3 on for about 1and a half hours means it’s just lovely and warm for me. I don’t keep the blanket on the bed all the time because I wonder if the ridges might be uncomfortable to sleep with. I am removing it each night before I get into bed and then pop it back onto the bed when I get up. It is fairly easy to remove and put back on the bed.
This is a lovely sized blanket – not the easiest to put on bed and keep still. It does warm up to a lovely hot temperature quickly. Great value for money

Bought on behalf of an elderly neighbour, whose previous electric blanket had failed.
This is a simple blanket, but seems well made. There is no timer and only three heat settings. Easy to use switch has `off’ at both ends so no need to see to switch off.
Although the box says corner fittings, it is held in place by tapes, three pass under the width of the mattress and are knotted into loops, one passes lengthwise. Not complex, but she would have struggled.
Works a treat, I’ve had this for almost 2 years now. Gets used almost every day during winter. I do with it had a timer, but I just paired mine with a smart plug and let Google assistant turn it off when I want.
10/10 would buy again. In fact, I’m going to get another now
The blanket was delivered in the specified time. I had a smaller electric blanket before this one & it drove me mad because I could feel the outline of it under the sheets, so I bought this king size electric blanket for my regular double bed, it almost covers the entire mattress and I get a restful sleep without feeling the blanket at all apart from the warmth it emits. I leave it on low permanently, so my bed is snug and warm. I recommend this product.
The perfect size for my king size bed this blanket heats up in the time it takes me to shower. Simple heat settings – 1,2,3. I find 2 is toasty while 3 is really very warm. In the recent freezing temperatures I put it on the lowest setting to sleep through the night and it was super comfortable. It’s soft and comfortable and I found the securing tapes quite easy to deal with. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and found some very negative so I was cautious but I must say I’m really thrilled with my purchase.
No problems here at all. Read the largely positive reviews and decided to give it a go. No regrets at all, fits my king-size bed superbly and lots of heat options, not used it beyond heat option 2 which is perfect for me.

The King size fits a Double mattress side to side. Only one control, temperature does what it says, 1 is mild warm, 2 is warm and 3 hot. Satisfied with purchase.

It’s lovely and cosy and gets hot quickly on the top setting. My only disappointment was that the connection of the blanket to the power cable is large and uncomfortable to sleep on. My old electric blanket was a lot less knobbly.
Trying by myself to get the tapes to secure the blanket on the mattress was a bit of a pain to get the middle one under the mattress, other than that… it was lovely and warm and the fact it can be eft on a low heating overnight is a bonus.
I can’t believe I haven’t used a heated blanket before! My flat gets freezing in winter especially at night, with little help from heating (a poorly insulated old building!) but turning the blanket on 30 mins before I get into bed and leaving it on until I turn my light off has helped me sleep so much on these colder nights. Definitely recommend!
I purchased this double electric blanket for a very elder lady that I care for.
She informs me that she is very happy with it.
Secures well on the mattress with ties and very easy to operate. As to the softness and pain relief I cannot comment, but I’m sure if there was a problem she would have voiced it to me!!! Very happy.
Perfectly doing the job, in combo with a meross smart surge protector, I can link it to Alexa, and set a routine to turn on 30 minutes before bed time, and it’s pretty hot under the blanket (level 3), so my dad leaves it on level 2 for daily evening use. I got the double too. They take about 10 minutes to get warm on level 3 setting.
Well I find it certainly does. I put it on No 1 just half an hour before bedtime and that makes the bed cosy enough for when I go. I keep it on No 1 all night, certainly as I’m laying reading before sleeping and when I first settle down. Occasionally I’ve found that if I’m up to the bathroom throught night it’s too warm when I get back in so I switch it off then and am perfectly warm ’til morning when I get up.

Heats up quickly, perhaps needs 10-15 minutes before you get in bed.
Wires are a little firm so I have thin blanket over the top but that could be just me finding this.

Easy instructions. Fitted double bed. Heats up quickly on 2 or 3….and even on 1. Cosy and relaxing to painful joints and muscles aiding restful sleep. Turned off overnight but on waking turning on to 1 and it adds enough warmth.
I am having two pairs of this product, very nice and warm and my child specially enjoying it and have nice sleep because she is not using blanket at all.

The blanket itself is soft and I personally don’t notice the wires. No issues with wrapping the ties around the mattress- mine is a deep mattress and still no problems securing them and keeping them in place. I personally didn’t need it to cover the mattress from edge to edge- it provides more than enough warmth anyway, so if you prefer that then maybe a king size would be better for a double. It doesn’t go under the pillow obviously and I’m 5’4″ so I had no issues with my feet being kept warm but if you’re taller then definitely get the king size for a double bed instead.
My memory of electric blankets? Compared to this, there is no comparison. This blanket is excelle
Bought this for the cold winter months at uni and it’s the best thing I’ve bought! Super warm and cosy, highly recommend! Well worth the money 🙂
I have been using it for over half a year now and so far so good. The only problem was caused by the flimsy ties. They are too short and one has got torn straight away when I tried to secure the blanket to a mattress. Surly a producer can come up with more reliable fastening?
So cosy & unfortunately needed this May in North Angus.
I have fitted it upside down as I sleep on left & I didn’t want control in middle of Bed. Working fine & Alexa is unplugged in the evening when I need my feet heated up. Alexa obviously is plugged back in before I nod off.
I had an operation in September since my stay in hospital have found it difficult to get to sleep.
Pre this I’ve always had cold feet, so it was a hot H20 bottle. As cold feet don’t lead to sleep..
The lawest heat on the blanket warms the bed, I can leave it on if I’m still having hospital terrors, having trouble to sleep.
Only down fall the blanket does move about the bed, it migrates to the side of the bed where I get out. but that’s easily solved by just pulling in place once a week.

For the price I’m really pleased with it.
This is an absolute life changer if you have to live in a cold place. I’m really looking forward to go to bed every night.
Everything fine except for one small quibble – the lengths of tape supplied for fixing the blanket into place were randomly either too short or too long.
It would of been better it the straps were a lot longer so it fits around the bed .. they were way to short

I put this under my sheets in my bedroom cause my room is really cold (average 14 degrees Celsius), I turn this on for 60-90 mins before sleeping at power 3, and leave it at power 1 for the rest of the night, now i can sleep with my tshirt and shorts instead of 3 layers of clothing including a really warm hoodie, and it does miracles. I got the single size and it’s a bit small, i’m quite short and it doesnt cover my full body length but honestly it still performs quite well cause i have a large blanket on top.
Sharing how to tie the cords as took a bit of detective work. With plug top left. And with labels facing towards the mattress on the bottom side. Top middle goes to right middle like a triangle diagonally. Left middle goes to bottom middle like a triangle diagonally. Left top goes along horizontally to right top.
First for left bottom goes horizontally to right bottom.
Use a loose knot you can just pull one end to untie or they’ll be so tight you’ll never undo them.
Now you have earned a cup of tea working that out.

Heats my feet up nicely when i go to bed, as due to low blood pressure my feet are like blocks of ice !! I turn it on 30 mins before i go to bed and turn it off once i’m in bed helps me settle better for the nigh
As described, easy to use, arrived very quickly. I am writing this review after only a couple of days of use, but so far so good.
did everything it said on the box up until two days ago brilliant until it stopped working all together changed the fuse and it is still as dead as can be so lasted four months so for nearly thirty pounds not much of a bargain so i wont be buying that again as four months is not long really
Firstly, on setting 3 this gets hot quickly! So great for those cold nights and you can’t feel it when it’s fitted to the bed. My complaints would be that it moves about in use and no matter how tight I pull the cords it still moves! The cord which is supposed to stop it moving up or down is too short. And the blanket itself is a bit on the short side because if you have it so that the plastic connector doesn’t dig into your shoulder, your feet get cold so keep this in mind if you sleep near the edge of the bed because you will have to get used to the power connection being there with you
I actually purchased this as a gift for someone else who had chilblains which were giving her jip. No complaints regarding delivery time or look of the product. As I helped to put the blanket on the bed I only gave 4* as I felt the the tapes were either not best placed/or long enough. I was told later that my friend now has a lovely warm bed when she retires at nigh
I just wanted a blanket to take the chill off the bed. I like the controls, very easy 3 heat button control with visible “on” light, and easy to grab when lying in bed! Very pleased with the length of the tapes used for securing it. I think this is a very good value blanket if you do not need all the bells & whistles others seem to offer. It arrived very promptly.

and my Mother is very pleased with it. The only bug I found was the tapes to secure it to the mattress were too short. It was very difficult to pull round on a 3 foot wide single bed, I can only think that it was designed for a 2ft 6in wide bed. But other than that it was brilliant and I would buy again.

Firstly, lots of the reviews say buy the king size for a double bed, I followed this advice and would strongly advise you do this.
The Heat Settings:
The first night I used this blanket I set it on the No.3 setting… Wow, it was like getting into a toaster, lovely!
Having the king size meant there were no cold spots, I’m 5’11” (179cm) and my feet were lovely and warm.
From passed experience I think having a standard double bed size would have led to my feet passing through the warmth into a cold spot at the bottom of the bed.
I now tend to put the setting to No.2 unless it’s a very cold night. No.2 is very comfortable and welcoming.
I’m not keen on leaving an electric blanket on overnight but my wife suffers from intermittent back and hip
pain from an historic injury so I’ve left the blanket on overnight couple of nights on setting No.1. This is very snug and she has found it very beneficial.
The Material.
The blanket is very well made and sturdy and of a fleece like material which in itself is very warm
to wake up on even if the blanket is not switched on.
The ties seem strong. I would not tie them too tight as I believe you could run
the risk of them fraying and coming away from the blanket, this is my preference and not a commentary on
their ability to do their job.
The blanket does not move once in situ.
These are all my “Pros” I only have one “Con”, an this is I think the control unit/switch looks and feels a bit flimsy and clunky. The plastic casing is thin, this maybe that the unit, in most situation, will be hanging from the blanket so needs not to be too heavy. The movement between settings is a little clunky also.
The “Con”s are very minor, especially when you compare them to what the blanket delivers overall.
I would strongly recommend this blanket and reiterate the opinion that buying the King Size option for a standard bed is the way to go.

Perfect fit for a double mattress, heats rapidly enough, allow 45mins to be comfortable depending on room temperature! A reasonable mattress protector, not very thick, then you’ll not notice the wires in the blanket. Arrived within the estimated delivery time span…very satisfied!
Not sure why the lead question is ‘pain relief?’ Electric blankets DON’T address pain relief. Anyway. This is a good electric blanket. It heats up quickly, the temperatures are diverse. Very low (1) to (3) very warm. Let’s face it. It’s an electric blanket and it works well.
It was easy to assemble the ties so it hasn’t budged at all which is great. Last thing you want is it moving around under your sheet and then having to strip the bed off to sort it out.
Don’t really have pains to consider in this review but I’m sure that it would be beneficial to anyone who did suffer with pains.
On the whole, very satisfied with the purchase and for what we paid for it you can’t go wrong.
Three heat settings.. 1 just feel the warmth, 2 warming up nicely, 3 roasting ideal for winter nights.
Really well packed, straight forward to install under the top sheet of the bed and warms up quickly. Use the top setting first, then lower the setting as the bed warms up. My wife feels the cold and use to take a hotwater bottle to bed with her to keep her warm and for her cramps, but now she does not need to.
Fits well on my mattress especially with the corner ties, it also heats up nicely and keeps me cosy (like the brand name) throughout the night.
It’s a good double size and looks sturdy and best of all the electric blanket helps ease my Sciatica!

Don’t normally bother writing amazon reviews to be honest, but this was such a pleasant surprise I felt I had to. Had previously always bought the same big brand, thought others were inferior. However my last one had to be returned as it failed after only a week so I thought I’d try something different. So pleased I did, it fitted the bed better, was a lot cheaper, and most importantly is so much warmer then the big brand. Wouldn’t switch back.
Not using mine and i wished i used it before the refund date expired as the weather was hot when I bought them. One night i was in bed and turned on the heat was like burning heat. I had to switch it off. Also the wires are risen and visible and hurts my thighs and ribs. Now I’m stuck with two blankets and can’t refund them.
Heats up quickly and the king size fits a double bed, as long as the blanket is fitted properly then it doesn’t move. This includes using the straps under the mattress, which can take time to fit.
Only needed to use lowest setting and it’s on for 15 minutes before we go to bed and not needed after that.
I bought the king-size so that all of my bed was warm (previous one didn’t reach the bottom of the bed) It is brilliant and my whole bed is warm. The heat settings are good, and at present the 3 was too warm!!!!

I like this product for the price, after 2 weeks use I can tell you 3 things:
1 – it can get really hot but has 3 settings to control it
2 – it warms up way faster than any elec blanket I’ve had before
3 – the heat seems really patchy as if there’s certain spots that don’t get warm at all, I quite like this as I like to control my temp in my sleep ( finding the cool spots) but can become annoying
I bought this as a replacement for an inefficient blanket. The difference is chalk and cheese. The blanket can heat up in 15 minutes plus the heating element fits the whole blanket.
I was a little surprised to find ties to fix it to the bed as opposed to elasticated corners. Due to much thicker, heavier mattresses these days, there’s not a hope I can get them under the mattress.

Easy to fit to my kingsize bed, though would have liked two lengthwise tapes not one. Slip the tapes under the mattress and tie off. The connecter fitted snugly under the pillow and I cannot feel the heating wires. I use setting 2 to heat up the bed and turn down to 1 when I get in. For the colder nights to come I will probably turn this up to 3, this setting is really toasty warm! Really good value for money and very happy with purchase.

Purchased for my elderly mother as replacement for a still working, but old, electric blanket. She is happy with it. It warms up within half hour or so on the highest setting and can be left on all night on the lowest setting. Easy to operate. Recommended.
This is a lovely electric blanket. I’ve fitted it beneath the mattress cover (on top of the mattress) mainly to avoid it moving as I haven’t tied it down. The control is easy to use – I’ve connected mine through a wi-fi operated plug so I can switch it on and off from my phone. I normnally switch it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and find the bed is really warm. Looking forward to using it when the nights get really cold. It’s supposedly washable (the plug and cable disconnect easily) but I’ve not needed to try this yet.
We use the blanket outside in the cabin so we can still enjoy sitting out there when it’s cold. Works really well but you have to be careful not to let it get folded.
With the cold weather approaching fast it started to cause me pain issues. Buying this electric blanket has really helped. Even at level 1 the bed is warm enough to see me through the night. Level 2 I found myself just laying there feeling like it was a summer night, dont think I will be trying the 3rd level for a few weeks yet. Wish I had thought of one sooner to be honest. A**
A very nice blanket on all honesty I’ve used it once and it was lovely and warm, I had it on for half an hour on low heat but it took the chill off the bed.
Only one thing of the down list is the inlet for the power cable it’s close to my face, other than that it’s a good purchase
Having purchased this electric blanket for keeping warm in my college time I am very happy with it. I don’t care about whether heats up quickly and my bed is soon becoming warm. The blanket contains the different heat settings to operate in various’ weather and that it can be kept on low shift overnight which can be safe. I often have to switch on during the rest time in the night so I put the blanket on its middle setting while a moment and my bed is snug when I fell asleep. I have deducted the temperature. Because it can be a bit small to suit my cover, it is quite less long enough to reach the end of the bed, so I haul my heat blanket down where my feet remain cold. Though the size of the blanket is single which was designed by the company, but it can keep the whole bed warm. The safety guidance provided on the instruction looks good. The cover of the blanket can be washed if it was dirty. It is an essential appliance that can help us keep comfortable during the winter.
I really like this product, I bought it for my double bed at uni the one i actually have back home is a single size on a double bed. Comparing them, this one is the best I’ve used. The straps to keep it in place on the mattress were very easy to put on myself (I am a small 5’3 woman for reference) and are very secure – my previous one from elsewhere had these skinny strings whilst CosiHome has loops and a elastic strap 3 horizontal one vertical. The blanket itself is soft to sleep on top on, it heats fast and for when I have cramps or back/neck pain from work it feels lovely (or just a cold night in my cold uni rented house), I only need it on for a short while before i turn it off to sleep. It was also was really straight forward to set up, just plug into the blanket then plug into the wall socket.
In Summary a quality investment, not disappointed and would recommend to anyone who wants one and may even buy one again for when I return my family home since my house is also very cold in winter time.
