Ideal for my use
I just wanted a blanket to take the chill off the bed. I like the controls, very easy 3 heat button control with visible “on” light, and easy to grab when lying in bed! Very pleased with the length of the tapes used for securing it. I think this is a very good value blanket if you do not need all the bells & whistles others seem to offer. It arrived very promptly.

was bought to go on a spare rooms bed for my Mother to use when she stays with us. Its very good, heats up well
and my Mother is very pleased with it. The only bug I found was the tapes to secure it to the mattress were too short. It was very difficult to pull round on a 3 foot wide single bed, I can only think that it was designed for a 2ft 6in wide bed. But other than that it was brilliant and I would buy again.

I’ve only had this blanket a few weeks so this is a review over a short period of time.
Firstly, lots of the reviews say buy the king size for a double bed, I followed this advice and would strongly advise you do this.
The Heat Settings:
The first night I used this blanket I set it on the No.3 setting… Wow, it was like getting into a toaster, lovely!
Having the king size meant there were no cold spots, I’m 5’11” (179cm) and my feet were lovely and warm.
From passed experience I think having a standard double bed size would have led to my feet passing through the warmth into a cold spot at the bottom of the bed.
I now tend to put the setting to No.2 unless it’s a very cold night. No.2 is very comfortable and welcoming.
I’m not keen on leaving an electric blanket on overnight but my wife suffers from intermittent back and hip
pain from an historic injury so I’ve left the blanket on overnight couple of nights on setting No.1. This is very snug and she has found it very beneficial.
The Material.
The blanket is very well made and sturdy and of a fleece like material which in itself is very warm
to wake up on even if the blanket is not switched on.
The ties seem strong. I would not tie them too tight as I believe you could run
the risk of them fraying and coming away from the blanket, this is my preference and not a commentary on
their ability to do their job.
The blanket does not move once in situ.
These are all my “Pros” I only have one “Con”, an this is I think the control unit/switch looks and feels a bit flimsy and clunky. The plastic casing is thin, this maybe that the unit, in most situation, will be hanging from the blanket so needs not to be too heavy. The movement between settings is a little clunky also.
The “Con”s are very minor, especially when you compare them to what the blanket delivers overall.
I would strongly recommend this blanket and reiterate the opinion that buying the King Size option for a standard bed is the way to go.

Snug n Comfortable
Perfect fit for a double mattress, heats rapidly enough, allow 45mins to be comfortable depending on room temperature! A reasonable mattress protector, not very thick, then you’ll not notice the wires in the blanket. Arrived within the estimated delivery time span…very satisfied!

It works!
Not sure why the lead question is ‘pain relief?’ Electric blankets DON’T address pain relief. Anyway. This is a good electric blanket. It heats up quickly, the temperatures are diverse. Very low (1) to (3) very warm. Let’s face it. It’s an electric blanket and it works well.

Sleeps warm, well and no cramps
Really well packed, straight forward to install under the top sheet of the bed and warms up quickly. Use the top setting first, then lower the setting as the bed warms up. My wife feels the cold and use to take a hotwater bottle to bed with her to keep her warm and for her cramps, but now she does not need to.
Ideal for people who feel the chill.
Three heat settings.. 1 just feel the warmth, 2 warming up nicely, 3 roasting ideal for winter nights.
Blanket fits well.
Fits well on my mattress especially with the corner ties, it also heats up nicely and keeps me cosy (like the brand name) throughout the night.
It’s a good double size and looks sturdy and best of all the electric blanket helps ease my Sciatica!

OMG OMG OMGZ So glad this item was recommended to me,I can sincerely say its worth every penny, it heats up fantastically well even on setting 2 and setting 3 hotter and i really was jus expecting barely warm. So not only is it very hot when turned off it still remains hot for a very long time and noted even heating not just hot spots here n there. I LOVE IT and think everyone should have one. Was always put off by people saying they unsafe and catch fire but thats so false as anything electrical can cause fire and besides its not something you sleep with it on , you warm bed up then turn off when you get into bed so fire shouldnt be an issue- I am really glad i purchased it-and also its good for pain relief when u need warmth, no need for hot water bottles etc when you got this, its excellent- they dont cost to run either. I sincerly can say you will not be disappointed with this brand product if you ever thought about buying an electric blanket- EXCELLENT BEST BUY

However my last one had to be returned as it failed after only a week so I thought I’d try something different. So pleased I did, it fitted the bed better, was a lot cheaper, and most importantly is so much warmer then the big brand. Wouldn’t switch back.

I had to switch it off. Also the wires are risen and visible and hurts my thighs and ribs. Now I’m stuck with two blankets and can’t refund them.

Good value for money
Heats up quickly and the king size fits a double bed, as long as the blanket is fitted properly then it doesn’t move. This includes using the straps under the mattress, which can take time to fit.
Only needed to use lowest setting and it’s on for 15 minutes before we go to bed and not needed after that.

Works Well
I bought this as a replacement for an inefficient blanket. The difference is chalk and cheese. The blanket can heat up in 15 minutes plus the heating element fits the whole blanket.
I was a little surprised to find ties to fix it to the bed as opposed to elasticated corners. Due to much thicker, heavier mattresses these days, there’s not a hope I can get them under the mattress.
Otherwise, a great product.

Very comfortable
This is a lovely electric blanket. I’ve fitted it beneath the mattress cover (on top of the mattress) mainly to avoid it moving as I haven’t tied it down. The control is easy to use – I’ve connected mine through a wi-fi operated plug so I can switch it on and off from my phone. I normnally switch it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and find the bed is really warm. Looking forward to using it when the nights get really cold. It’s supposedly washable (the plug and cable disconnect easily) but I’ve not needed to try this yet.

Purchased this product after reading loads of reviews on different electric blankets. Didn’t want to pay a fortune for one as it was our first one and a lot of reviews said they didn’t last long. A few reviews on this particular one said it didn’t work after a few months so we’ll see how long it lasts. Thought the ties to fit it around the mattress were a bit annoying but after fitting it, it hasn’t moved at all. Also thought that my husband was going to complain about feeling the wires whilst he was sleeping but he hasn’t mentioned it and you don’t really notice them when sleeping on it. So far so good with the blanket, takes about 15mins to get a good heat in it but is very warm and cosy, especially now the nights are getting cold. Haven’t slept with it on all night as don’t trust electric blankets but after a wee blast before bed it’s nice and cosy to switch off and go to sleep. Even had the kids in the bed trying it out and they all want one now! Would recommend although the box it was delivered in was very flimsy and it was in bits by the time it reached my house. They could do with a redesign on their packaging but other than that, no complaints.

Easy Set up, Fast Heating, Secured on matress
I really like this product, I bought it for my double bed at uni the one i actually have back home is a single size on a double bed. Comparing them, this one is the best I’ve used. The straps to keep it in place on the mattress were very easy to put on myself (I am a small 5’3 woman for reference) and are very secure – my previous one from elsewhere had these skinny strings whilst CosiHome has loops and a elastic strap 3 horizontal one vertical. The blanket itself is soft to sleep on top on, it heats fast and for when I have cramps or back/neck pain from work it feels lovely (or just a cold night in my cold uni rented house), I only need it on for a short while before i turn it off to sleep. It was also was really straight forward to set up, just plug into the blanket then plug into the wall socket.
In Summary a quality investment, not disappointed and would recommend to anyone who wants one and may even buy one again for when I return my family home since my house is also very cold in winter time.

Yes I hated getting into a cold bed, now if I turn the Blanket on full power only for 20min and then I remove the blanket and slip into a nice cosy bed, its one of the best things I have purchased this year, and its true when I am tied I look forward to going to bed, I would highly recommend this product.

I am very happy with the blanket,I bought the King size for my double bed and it fits perfectly.Ihave only given it 4 stars because the plug I need to use is on the other side of the bed , and the lead is not long enough like my old blanket, so have to use an extensio

I bought this for my mum who is 73 and is always cold. She loves it. The heat settings are just right for her and she finds it comfortable and cosy. Very simple to use. It fits nicely to the bed for her. She uses it every night so does rely on it for any general aches and pains. Even the cats like to warm to it.

Does exactly what it says it does. Safety cut out. Warm and cosy on the bed. Perfect for those chilly nights….usually when you’ve turned the heating off in the home a bit too early!

Not user friendly
I found the tie method difficult, indeed the tie that threaded the length of the bed was too short to reach and I had to tie another piece of tie string to it. It takes longer to heat up than I would like

I was amazed at how quickly it heated up.
I ordered a King Size for my double bed and it fitted my bed perfectly.
I also tried sleeping with my blanket on all night at position one. This was the first time I had a good night’s sleep in a while.

Good but size is a bit odd
It’s a good product and made a real difference to my sleep experience. Only criticism is the size. It only covers two thirds of a double bed. Would be better if it covered the size of a regular double mattress. Otherwise, it’s fine.

I bought a double, it was slightly smaller than I imagined, which puts the connector attachment right in my sleeping area. However I have found this product to be really good and was over 10 cheaper than other brands. I have used it daily for over 3 months and very happy with its consistency of heat levels … love it really great and would buy again …

What i like about the heated blanket
I use my electric blanket for my air bed all
the time on the instruction manual it says not to be used on airbed. I put three small sheets on air bed then my heated electric blanket then another sheets I keep it on heat level 2 all night and I have had no issues and it does get warm very quick

I order a double sized heated blanket and its definitely not the size as my double air bed to me it looks single which I’m actually very disopointed

Overall I am very happy with this blanket- it has three heat settings, it heats up pretty quickly and has a good amount of fixings to keep it in place on the mattress. My only (small) complaint is that because it is washable it has a little box that the power lead slots into and I found this uncomfortable to have by the pillow as I lie on my side a lot in my sleep- this has been sorted by turning the blanket around and having the power lead down by the feet instead. Otherwise a great heated blanket.

My only (small) complaint is that because it is washable it has a little box that the power lead slots into and I found this uncomfortable to have by the pillow as I lie on my side a lot in my sleep- this has been sorted by turning the blanket around and having the power lead down by the feet instead. Otherwise a great heated blanket.

The sizing on this product is spot on, fits properly (unlike some bedding products that are cut to the limit)
Warms up quite quickly and evenly throughout the heated area.
Controls are easy to use with an orange glow when in use so its obvious it is working when you glance to see “have I turned it on/off”
The blanket has a nice cozy feeling that certainly helps during those long cold dark winter months and bed time has become something to look forward to at the end of the evening.
Good value quality blanke
Bought this for my 17 year old daughter about a month ago. So far so good she really happy with it. Its hot in about 10 minutes. The big test with electric blankets is how long they last.
Effective but can dry you up
Good 1) I do feel warm at night and havent woken up due to coldness 2) It only took a night to expand to its full size
Bad 1) BUT it does dries you up if you keep on too long (eg >1h). I wake up really thirsty and feel heated so I really cant keep it on night (I have a humidifier on all night already)

Great blanket Would recommend
Covers double bed very well. Heats up super quickly . Well placed hand control and simple controls. Only improvement would be to make the tapes at top of blanket extra long to allow it to be passed around both corners of the top of mattress. Otherwise a brilliant product Nd one happy Mother who suffers feeling cold very badly Thank you

Does the job!
Overall very happy with the blanket so far. It warms up nice and quickly- very important with the chilly nights we have been having. Only 2 improvements I would suggest- corner loops to secure the blanket rather than ties ( quite a job to manoeuvre the ties under a king size mattress) and a slimmer connection box ( not sure of the technical term!) from the blanket to the lead . It’s a bit lumpy .
Still working perfect after one yea
Bought this September 2018, used all last winter and stored it away during late spring summer.
Put it back on my bed early October and it’s still working perfectly. I love it as you don’t even know it’s on the bed only that it heats up lovely toasty and warm. I put it on setting 3 to heat up the bed, it’s very quick and gets the bed nice and comfy after 20mins.
I bought the king size for my double bed and it fits perfect.
I recommend this electric blanket if you like comfortable warm cosy bed.

Warm.Heats fast.3 heat functions.Good price.Big and covers the bed adequitely.Only downside is it is a little short for the feet.BUT,to be fair.It is definately better at reaching the feet than most of the blankets I have purchased in the past.So 5***** in my book.I intend to buy another.That should say everything in itself.Recommended.

I have been looking for a heated blanket for my Reiki couch, the cold weather affects the elderly and they cant enjoy the Reiki session so much. This blanket fitted the width exactly – I possibly would have like it to be a little longer, but it is the best I have found. It will also double as a suitable guest bed warmer in what is quite a cold room.

This product arrived very promptly. It was the first time I had invested in an electric blanket. It was easy to arrange and fix on the bed. It heats up extremely quickly and is a delight and now I don’t think I could live without it.

So good that I bought two. I have a bad back and have been pleasantly surprised how much an electric blanket has helped it. Now my only trouble is getting out of my warm bed on a cold Winter morning.

It’s warm and comfy
Love this blanket! It warms up fast and it’s so warm that I’ve never had to put it on the highest setting. I only wish it was a little longer so it’d go all the way to my feet- I don’t like the fact that it’s square.

Having finally decided to try swapping hot water bottles for an electric blanket, I only wish I had done so earlier. This blanket was easy to attach to the mattress. The fabric is good and the wires don’t protrude too much. It heats up quickly and has the advantage of a low heat setting which is safe to use while reading in bed or for a top-up during a colder spell in the night. And I leave my pyjamas in whilst it’s warming up so they are cosy to put on before getting into bed! The blanket can be used either side so the connection can reach the nearest socket.

Got the parcel 12hrs after placing the order, works 100% keeping the bed nice and warm. The only snag was the tying cord from top to bottom of the mattress was about one foot short in length, delighted with the heating blanket.

Lovely and warm, quite quick to heat up, choice of heat settings. Only comment would be the central band which is meant to tie the length of the bed isn’t long enough. Would benefit from elasticated corners to hold in place as I had to lift the mattress both sides to get the cord underneath. Overall very pleased with the product and at a reasonable price too. Haven’t washed yet, so can’t comment on that.

I bought this product because I get very cold at night and cannot sleep when I am cold. I had resorted to having an oil filled radiator on all night, but still had a freezing cold nose! Since buying this I have not had to put the heater on & my nose is now never cold at night. I have not needed to have the blanket switched on all night either. I put it on max an hour or two before going to bed & the heat that it generates keeps the bed warm & cozy for most of the night. I find it incredibly comforting & the heat really helps any aches and pains (I have joint hypermobilty syndrome).

This was bought for the guest bed in the guest room: living in rural East Anglia – flat as a pancake, and in direct line for uninterrupted wind and weather from Europe, winters can be rather cold, and we don’t have the protection of surrounding high buildings.
Unfortunately, the inclusion of a rating for pain relief is irrelevant, and I would recommend that the category be removed, as I doubt that it represents the consideration of the majority of people who buy electric blankets.
The 3 big pluses are that the blanket heats quickly, compared to those we have previously bought, on the lowest setting, you can sleep on it, again particularly useful for guests who don’t share my imperviousness towards the cold, and it is machine washable; some of the other were hand wash, which isn’t thorough. The one thing I would advise when machine washing, to put it in the machine on its own, to avoid being bundled up with the other items, which might damage the wiring.
My only small criticism would be that, as our mattresses are quite deep, the retains tapes could do with being around 6 inches longer, as there is not enough length to tie them into a quick-release bow, so we have had to knot them, which is going to be awkward when we need to remove it.
Otherwise, a good buy, and reasonably priced, but, again, I would recommend losing the ‘pain relief’ stars, as it will, unfairly, damage the overall rating.
Warms the bed quickly
I have had to work away for a few weeks and my wife normally uses my legs to warm her feet.
With the electric blanket my wife turns it on 30 minutes before getting into bed and when she gets in it is lovely and warm allowing her to relax and fall off to sleep quickly.

As expected but heat settings dont seem righ
Been using this past few days now and it’s ok / good. Doesnt cause any discomfort or issues when fitted to mattress. Good size for king size mattress too with good straps to tighten and keep in place. However setting wise, number 2 doesn’t seem to give out much heat, barely any difference between that and 1. 3 however much better warming so we do just stick it on that for 5 -10 minutes before getting into bed. Price wise would say it’s ok but hest settings bit disappointing tbf.

Only 4 stars due to size problem
I bought a double to fit a single bed, as single blankets do not reach the edge, so leaving a fair percentage of bed COLD. The only other problem is – and please Cosihome, bring this up at your next electric blanket symposium – no electric blanket is long enough, so I have a choice of cold feet or cold shoulders. So apart from my gripe about the size, this blanket heats quickly and is very efficient. And very reasonably priced.
Simple Blanket, Good Value
I didn’t need a blanket that heats different bed areas, or dual controls, I just wanted to warm our bed on winter nights. This blanket does the job, only 3 heat settings, though number one is only useful if you sleep with blanket on, which we never do. So number 3 for 10 to 15 minutes is enough.
The instructions say place the controller near pillow, but I’ve put that at bottom of bed, I didn’t want to feel it near my head, no problems, it still works. Although we have double bed, we chose king size and it fits bed better. So for the reasonable price, so far this is perfect.
