Had been thinking about getting an electric blanket for the winter due to the cost of living crisis and I’m so glad I did, and the timing couldn’t have been better! Bought this blanket during the Black Friday sale, than promptly came down with COVID for the first time. I was really poorly and had the shakes and shivers but being able to curl up in a warm bed really helped me feel better and aided my recovery.
The blanket is really good quality, has three heat settings which are more than ample and fastens to the bed securely with long canvas ties. I thought I would be able to feel it underneath the sheet and you can, but it isn’t uncomfortable in any way and you soon get used to it. The highest setting is perfect for warming the bed up before you get in, and the lowest is perfect for keeping the bed toasty during the night without making you hot. I find that I actually sleep much better and wake up less often with it on.
I’ve had the blanket for nearly a month now and I’ve already put it through its paces. Will defo not be going back to life without one of these!

I have this connected to a smart plug and it works perfect. I generally switch it on remotely about 20 to 30 mins before bed. Just the right size for a my double bed. If I had a King size bed I would probably look for a bigger one. The highest heat setting is more than hot enough.

There’s nothing better than getting into bed with it on. I have it set to switch on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and it’s so cosy. There are 3 settings. I’ve only tried it on the highest setting which is very warm. My old blanket decided to stop working so I chose this brand as a replacement, as I have a Cosi Home heated blanket which is excellent.
This is better than I though
This blanket has been really good. It’s easy to use and dors the job well. I have it on low heat just before I enter my bed and it’s been pleasant especially for my joint issues.
The only downside is the vertical cord is too short by two feet as my bed /mattress is quite tall – so I will have to get a sting it king shoelace to make up the gap.

Simple and straightforward to put on, I haven’t even used the straps to tie it in place as it hasn’t moved. It heats up really fast so it’s unnecessary to switch on sooner than a few minutes before bedtime. Good quality. Delighted.
The ties to secure to the mattress are long cords that you have to slide and pull under the mattress which would be awkward for those who can’t easily lift mattress. There are no corner secures straps as per the picture
Very happy with the purchase, good product. I had hesitations regarding how the coils will feel when one sleeps on them but its absolutely fine and cant feel them at all. Heating is pretty good. Just make sure to cover it with a blanket/ duvet for the pre-heating
We bought this for my daughter to keep her warm at night and when she goes to bed. As the weather is changing and we are trying to save the heating we gave this a try. It worked great under the bed sheet. Normally takes a little time to heat up so we turn it on an hour before bedtime, make sure the quilt coves the bed nicely to keep the warm in. When its time for bed the quilt and the sheet are lovely and warm. Over night you can keep it on setting 1 to just maintain the warmer temperature. My daughter loves it! Worth buying.

Was hoping it would be longer , has a very rigid electrical socket so has to be high thus leaving legs and feet cold compared to body
This is great under heated blanket. Would give it 5 stars but had to use underside up as it would be a bit bumpy plus very awkward in tying the ties – have to go under the mattress (king size is very heavy) other than that, gives off great even heat.
Banish the cold
Bought this as a gift. After using it in mid-winter in a drafty bedroom the recipient was thrilled. They used you wake up at night freezing. No more! Set it on high of 15 mins before bed, then turn it down low when you hop in. Then for safety turn it off when you go to sleep.
My only criticism is the lack of a timer to turn it on and off at preset times, but plug in timers are available separately.

Produces a great heat and you can switch it down a bit and keep it on overnight.
My only grumble, and the reason for four stars, is that the control is rather awkward to use. The plastic seems very fragile and it isn’t easy to switch heat settings. You need to be careful.

Very quick delivery
Love this. Heats the bed so well and is just great for cold Winter nights. I found the tie tabs a bit fiddly to begin with but once the blanket is in place it’s great and the control is so easy to use. The top setting is great to pre heat and then you can click down to 2 if you want to read for a while. Good buy. Would recommend this blanket.
Where has this been all my life
Oh wow, what a wonderful feeling sliding into a warm, toasty, cosy bed. No more freezing feet. The arthritic bones are lulled to sleep. It’s my favourite purchase. I adore this, it’s great. I didn’t think I’d be so happy with a blanket but there you go!

Love having a cosy bed …we use it to pre warm … its absolute bliss to pop under the duvet now ….Great for our old dodgy backs and hubby has Reynauds so good for his cold hands and fee

The king size which is on my bed is great it heats brilliantly fits great and is comfortable under my sheet . This product has stopped working and there seems to be no way of contacting the seller as the return window has closed. I made the purchase in September, used it about twice in October and used it twice this month (December), I tried to turn it on yesterday and it won’t come on. Waste of money, very disappointing.

No timer, great for keeping warm on winter nights
Works a treat, I’ve had this for almost 2 years now. Gets used almost every day during winter. I do with it had a timer, but I just paired mine with a smart plug and let Google assistant turn it off when I want.

The King size fits a Double mattress side to side. Only one control, temperature does what it says, 1 is mild warm, 2 is warm and 3 hot. Satisfied with purchase.

Cosy and Warm but a bit knobbly
It’s lovely and cosy and gets hot quickly on the top setting. My only disappointment was that the connection of the blanket to the power cable is large and uncomfortable to sleep on. My old electric blanket was a lot less knobbly.

A nice warm bed all nigh
Trying by myself to get the tapes to secure the blanket on the mattress was a bit of a pain to get the middle one under the mattress, other than that… it was lovely and warm and the fact it can be eft on a low heating overnight is a bonus.

Game-changer for cold winter nights!
I can’t believe I haven’t used a heated blanket before! My flat gets freezing in winter especially at night, with little help from heating (a poorly insulated old building!) but turning the blanket on 30 mins before I get into bed and leaving it on until I turn my light off has helped me sleep so much on these colder nights. Definitely recommend!

I purchased this double electric blanket for a very elder lady that I care for.
She informs me that she is very happy with it.
Secures well on the mattress with ties and very easy to operate. As to the softness and pain relief I cannot comment, but I’m sure if there was a problem she would have voiced it to me!!! Very happy.

Warm bed
Perfectly doing the job, in combo with a meross smart surge protector, I can link it to Alexa, and set a routine to turn on 30 minutes before bed time, and it’s pretty hot under the blanket (level 3), so my dad leaves it on level 2 for daily evening use. I got the double too. They take about 10 minutes to get warm on level 3 setting.

I keep it on No 1 all night, certainly as I’m laying reading before sleeping and when I first settle down. Occasionally I’ve found that if I’m up to the bathroom throught night it’s too warm when I get back in so I switch it off then and am perfectly warm ’til morning when I get up.

Easy instructions. Fitted double bed. Heats up quickly on 2 or 3….and even on 1. Cosy and relaxing to painful joints and muscles aiding restful sleep. Turned off overnight but on waking turning on to 1 and it adds enough warmth.

The three heat settings are nicely “spaced out” heat-wise, I.e., the lowest basically just keeps the chill off the bedsheets when you get in. I find it the most comfortable to sleep on through the night. The second setting is fairly warm and toasty- you should only need it for ten minutes or so before you start getting hot and the third setting is very warm- probably for when your extremities are freezing cold and you need warming up quickly. It would be way too warm to sleep on for very long. It would, however, help with pain relief for backache, period cramps, any achy muscles that need a hit of warmth to soothe them.
The blanket itself is soft and I personally don’t notice the wires. No issues with wrapping the ties around the mattress- mine is a deep mattress and still no problems securing them and keeping them in place. I personally didn’t need it to cover the mattress from edge to edge- it provides more than enough warmth anyway, so if you prefer that then maybe a king size would be better for a double. It doesn’t go under the pillow obviously and I’m 5’4″ so I had no issues with my feet being kept warm but if you’re taller then definitely get the king size for a double bed instead.

Very cosy & doing its job very well
So cosy & unfortunately needed this May in North Angus.
I have fitted it upside down as I sleep on left & I didn’t want control in middle of Bed. Working fine & Alexa is unplugged in the evening when I need my feet heated up. Alexa obviously is plugged back in before I nod off.

Hot Under blanke
I had an operation in September since my stay in hospital have found it difficult to get to sleep.
Pre this I’ve always had cold feet, so it was a hot H20 bottle. As cold feet don’t lead to sleep..
The lawest heat on the blanket warms the bed, I can leave it on if I’m still having hospital terrors, having trouble to sleep.
Only down fall the blanket does move about the bed, it migrates to the side of the bed where I get out. but that’s easily solved by just pulling in place once a week.

Everything fine except for one small quibble – the lengths of tape supplied for fixing the blanket into place were randomly either too short or too long.

I put this under my sheets in my bedroom cause my room is really cold (average 14 degrees Celsius), I turn this on for 60-90 mins before sleeping at power 3, and leave it at power 1 for the rest of the night, now i can sleep with my tshirt and shorts instead of 3 layers of clothing including a really warm hoodie, and it does miracles. I got the single size and it’s a bit small, i’m quite short and it doesnt cover my full body length but honestly it still performs quite well cause i have a large blanket on top.

I put this under my sheets in my bedroom cause my room is really cold (average 14 degrees Celsius), I turn this on for 60-90 mins before sleeping at power 3, and leave it at power 1 for the rest of the night, now i can sleep with my tshirt and shorts instead of 3 layers of clothing including a really warm hoodie, and it does miracles. I got the single size and it’s a bit small, i’m quite short and it doesnt cover my full body length but honestly it still performs quite well cause i have a large blanket on top.

Sharing how to tie the cords as took a bit of detective work. With plug top left. And with labels facing towards the mattress on the bottom side. Top middle goes to right middle like a triangle diagonally. Left middle goes to bottom middle like a triangle diagonally. Left top goes along horizontally to right top.
First for left bottom goes horizontally to right bottom.
Use a loose knot you can just pull one end to untie or they’ll be so tight you’ll never undo them.
Now you have earned a cup of tea working that out.

Heats my feet up nicely when i go to bed, as due to low blood pressure my feet are like blocks of ice !! I turn it on 30 mins before i go to bed and turn it off once i’m in bed helps me settle better for the nigh

Does its job though is a little smaller than optimal
Firstly, on setting 3 this gets hot quickly! So great for those cold nights and you can’t feel it when it’s fitted to the bed. My complaints would be that it moves about in use and no matter how tight I pull the cords it still moves! The cord which is supposed to stop it moving up or down is too short. And the blanket itself is a bit on the short side because if you have it so that the plastic connector doesn’t dig into your shoulder, your feet get cold so keep this in mind if you sleep near the edge of the bed because you will have to get used to the power connection being there with you
