    Fast drying during winte
I brought this for my uni room due to mold issues and my clothes taking three days or more to dry, however if I leave my fresh washing with the dehumidifier next to it the clothes dry within a couple hours and gathers dust from the room at the same time

Great for damp & indoor drying of clothes
Bought due to a minor damp problem in one room. Now use it daily throughout the house when drying clothes & after teens take long showers and leave the place steaming! It collects so much water, which we then use to water the houseplants – win win.
Not too heavy to move around. Usually pick it up rather than wheel it.
Tip: I was confused on first use as to why it wasn’t collecting water when I knew the humidity was highyou just need to set it to for eg 40% and it’ll kick i

Does the job but somewhat noisy
It certainly works, especially when the temperature is higher – during the colder days the effectiveness seems to be reduced a lot, but when it is warmer the amount of water collected is substantial.
The noise it produces is noticeable even at low setting so def. not quiet, but not too bad either. The sleep mode has something I find really annoying – when the compressor stops and starts after, it makes even more noise and sounds more like a mini fridge than dehumidifier – the noise goes down soon though.

Not as silent as I thought it’d be but does the job well for occasional dehumidify bathroom on those wet wintey days when opening windows is not a great option.

Very quiet and efficient and great to see the humidity level of a room. Didn’t give 5 stars as not sure why it keeps going into P1 which means defrost when it’s in a house

    Great produc
This is a neat appliance and does the job well. Easy to operate and not noisy. I knocked off a star because it is absolutely impossible to connect the plastic tube provided in order to collect more water than the tank holds, which means the volume of water collected is limited to the capacity of the tank, and stops when full.

There is nothing to negative to say about this appliance. It does everything that the manufacturer says it does. It’s very efficient, costs very little to run and has some great features such as a digital humidity display and a self cleaning program to keep the unit safe and for trouble-free running. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent product. Had extreme condensation issues where the windows needed de molding and repainting. As soon as I got this, all dampness and condensation became managable. Dries clothes efficiently too. Filter is easy to clean and night mode is quiet enough to sleep to. Slightly heavy but with the handle it’s easy to lift or roll to the other room. I have to empty it at least once a day, which is good. It means it’s doing it’s job well. Worth every penny.

We now have 2 of these dehumidifiers in our home as they work so well at removing condensation in the home. Otherwise every winter our home would get mould especially around the windows. This year we havent had this problem and I think this is because of the machines.
Every day we manage to remove 1 tank full of water from both machines! The high setting can feel abit noisy if you keep it running at night as you sleep so if you are a light sleeper probably set it to low. I like that there is a timer built in so I can let it run at bedtime without having to think about waking up to turn it off. I also like that the machine has wheels to push it from place to place and a handle to easily carry it to another room. I bought both machines during the prime day sales so I think the price was good and the brand is usually reliable so I hope it lasts a while especially as the dehumidifier feels sturdy.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersA winter rug doctoring essential. Loving it.
If you should happen to find yourself rug doctorin’ in December, then you are in a situation where the wet-vacced carpets are going to take too long to dry…. and will end up mildewy and stinky. NOT desirable!
So I needed one of these to slurp up the damp.
First things first, it worked right out of the box. I can hear angels singing.. Plug it in, press a button and boom, we are dehumidifying! And sure enough, within an hour or two, the caddy is filling up with water. It’s a piece of cake to pull the caddy out, tip the water down the drain, push the caddy back in and it just keeps on rolling. SO user friendly!
My carpets are drying out fast, this little unit is purring away to itself and life is good. Full marks.

This is a brilliant piece of kit for draining humidity from the air. We live in an old house in The Highlands of Scotland and such places and areas are notoriously damp. This is the second such item we have bought but it is as another reviewer said, heavy. One is fine if you live on one level but we have a two storey house and carrying it up and down stairs has led me to sustaining groin strain, tension round the neck and shoulders plus both knees being put out (I am seventy two years old which doesn’t help). I would therefore suggest any buyer my age, who is not young and fit, get two – one for dragging across the floor to various rooms upstairs and the same for downstairs.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersOne of the best dehumidifiers
Having this dehumidifier for a full year and running it every day 24/7, I can say that not only it performs exceptionally well by keeping the humidity on comfortable levels but it also built to last.

The noise level is quite low, it is noticeable when working but it isn’t discomfortingly loud. I have slept with it turned on in my bedroom and it’s humming wouldn’t annoy me at all.

    Good points:
    – Reliable
    – Easy to install and work
    – Covers the area it is advertised for
    – Pretty much self subsisted device (with the exception of emptying the tank). You turn it on and let it run on it’s own.

    Not Good points:
    – The water tank get filled daily and need emptying in my case. I should have bought a model with a larger tank.
    – The water tank is quite fiddly to take off and put back on. I wouldn’t recommend this device to older people, as the water tank is located at a very low height and can be quite difficult to take out and carry around if it is full. One needs to bend over and unhinge it from it’s location. This can be a hazard for spilling the contained water. There is the option to use the tube outlet to somewhere you can drain the accumulated water.

I am generally very happy with this dehumidifier as it does the job. I’ll probably buy a one with a larger tank from ProBreeze next year.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery effective and absorbs loads
Good: absorbs loads of water – more than you’d ever realise, definitely improved the damp and condensation in the room. Even dried wet clothes quickly.

Bad: it is loud which doesn’t bother me too much – it’s actually a soothing sound but may bother others, really heavy even when empty so a pain to move from room to room, a couple of times it’s turned itself off because the room was too cold when I put it in the kitchen so may be sensitive to other people’s rooms too.

My 1st dehumidifier, I’m very pleased with it’s efficiency. I bought a smaller useless one at the same time. I used this one today, it’s been raining lots, had washing drying indoors on a rainy day, showers, washing dishes etc, and it took a good litre of water out of the atmosphere. I love the ease of moving it, the wheels, and handle, although it’s heavy to take up/down the stairs. I like the display screen and choice of fast/slow fan, and economical on energy use. Overall, I’m very happy with it, and really pleased I bought it in the sale. Thank you.

I have been looking for a dehumidifier for a while. It’s so many to choose from and different reviews. After using pro breeze I can say I made a good decision to buy it that model. It’s brilliant. It’s not too loud. I live in 2 bedroom flat quite new build even though I open windows every day I have a problem with condensation on my windows.
I was shocked how much water was collected within 5 h of use.
Sleep mode it’s quiet. Did my washing and used it on sleep mode at night to see how much water will be collected. More then half of container
In the morning I can see the difference in room temperature. Having frosty mornings and really cold days didn’t put heating on since I use dehumidifier.

I have only just started using it and it seems fine so far. After reeading the handbook it said to go to pro breeze website for extra tips. Saw the same model had an RRP of 139.99 and a Black Friday deal of 126.99 (& free delivery). I only paid 1 more, however the RRP on Amazon is 189.99 and currently selling at 159.99. Always check with the manufacturers, they often offer a better deal direct.

Can’t believe how much water was in my house.
We live in a victorian house. We had a lot of damp.
It has taken so much water from the rooms. The house smell better and the air feels a lot less damp.
The water tank fills up within 6 hours.
    It’s a nice compact size.

It helps with the drying the washing a bit, but dose not have a laundry setting

The only down size is it’s heavy to carry up and down the stairs. Also it’s quite low even on the night setting so can’t sleep with it on.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersLife-changing
I honestly don’t care how sad or desperate this may sound, but this is the BEST 170 I’ve ever spent in my 56 years on this bizarre planet. I recently moved into one of those long, static caravans, and the moment it started to get cold outside, the HUGE front window which comprises the front of the van would literally start to steam up, then drip with condensation, and then run with water.

Again, I may sound mad or weird, but I actually feel as if I can’t breathe if I can’t see out. Out of sheer desperation (I honestly thought dehumidifiers were something only found in industrial plants), and SICK of feeling as if I were breathing through a damp sponge, I looked on here. I saw this. The reviews were too good to ignore so I bought it.

As I said, it’s the best money I’ve ever spent. Out of sheer, horrified fascination, I just stood listening as it squeezed the water (you can actually hear it as it pours, at intervals, into the collection tank) out of the air, and watching as the humidity percentage dropped from 65 to 55. IN ONE DAY. I’m now down to 47%, I can SEE out of the window and it’s 2 deg C outside, and there’s NO condensation. None.

I also started recording the amounts collected each day, just to increase the horror factor. Remember: ALL of this water is just floating around in the air waiting to condense on something – clothes, carpets, furnishings, wallpaper. For those of you still reading, here are the results. I, quite literally, kept pouring the contents into a jug just to prove to myself that all of this water was IN THE AIR:

    Day 1: 1250ml (a very good / bad day)
    Day 2: 350ml
    Day 3: 600ml
    Day 4: 200ml
    Day 5: 650ml
    Day 6: 700ml
    Day 7: 2000ml (really)
    Day 8: 1700ml
    Day 9: 1200ml
    Day 10: 1400ml
    Day 11: 1350ml
    Day 12: 1400ml
    Day 13: 350ml

I assume, due to the sudden drop after almost two weeks, that my van is REALLY drying out. It was actually creaking away last night, probably settling into its new dryness, and it’s so old it’s probably made of cardboard and wood. Before I had this, I couldn’t shut the door between the kitchen and lounge as it was so swollen; I couldn’t even get the bugg*r into the frame. After eight days’ sucking from this bit of magic, the door was 90% closed; at thirteen days, it’s pretty much shut.

I’m NEVER going to be without one of these ever again, and now I always have it on first thing in the morning, and in the evening after I’ve finished cooking. I swear; dehumidifiers and SAT navs are, to my mind, the greatest inventions ever. With real Winter looming in Gloucestershire (it’s due to snow on Thursday), it’s my very, very best friend.

Buy one. If you’re not as ecstatic as I am, you can always just send it back! You win either way!

I can’t rave about it enough. We moved to a new house and thought the bedroom smelt musty, especially the built in wardrobes. We had condensation on the windows in the mornings, so we decided to buy this dehumidifier and I’ve never breathed in such clean air.

It’s quiet enough to stay on all night. It has a quiet fan sound, much like a fan you’d have on during the summer months at night (if you’re a night fan kinda person). The only thing that might wake you up or keep you awake is the occasional sound of the water dripping. It’s not constant but it didn’t wake me up on the first night.

I usually leave it on at night and leave one of the doors on my built in wardrobe open for the air to circulate. It will make the air in your room feel crisp and clean.

It arrived upside down, the instructions say to keep it upright.
The noise level is no problem, I can sleep with it going.
Easy to manoeuvre due to wheels and handle.
I don’t use sleep mode, I keep it on high during sleep to stop windows steaming up on the inside, the first night it did not stop windows steaming up, so I had to wipe them, maybe because I had them closed. There was a decent amount of water in the tank in the morning, despite me emptying it before bed.
There was about a cm of water in the tank when I came home after a day out. Dunno where that came from.
Perhaps it needs to run a few days to get all the humidity out, I don’t know. I set it to 40% before bed, yet in the morning it had gone up to 52%.
UPDATE I gave it 4 stars, a couple of times P1 error has shown on the display even though the tank is nowhere near full.
Lately I noticed my throat was getting more and more sore, so I had to turn it off in my bedroom while I sleep. I bought it mainly to keep the windows dry. They have been, even while it has been off. There seems no rhyme or reason what autumn/winter days my windows will get condensation on.

    Good dehumidifier. Recommended.
A bought a cheap one first, and was no good. This is much better. Have a medium size room North-facing and hence subject to condensation winter months. After 2 days, this has stabilised the moisture and use every 3 days now for a few hours keep humidity under control. Takes the chill out of the room and reduces heating costs. So a good investment. Am happy in the choice. Warmly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our Users2 years on review. Still 5 Stars
I looked at this past purchase because I want a filter for it, not that it’s dropped in any performance, it’s still great, I just thought that after 2 years I should probably change the filter. This still works really well for our medium to large 2 bed Victorian flat master bedroom. It does a great job at collecting the water and collects a lot of it. For 2 years I’ve ran it on the high setting from 7:30 am till 11pm every day (minus holidays) and it still collects the same amount of water as new. It has reduced the mould problem by 95%. A tiny bit of mould stills grows in a hard to get to corner behind a fitted wardrobe but all I need to do is give that corner a wipe with mould spay once a year, where as before I got this dehumidifier there was a whole eco system growing in that dark hidden corner. The humidity meter seems accurate and it’s easy enough to empty if you can bend down ok. It’s not too heavy but may be for the elderly or those who struggle with lifting or mobility but I think the heaviness speaks to its quality. It has a good handle and wheels but they struggle a bit on carpet. I’m so glad I bought this.

Previously we have owned dehumidifiers from a well known British brand and been disappointed by the decline in build quality and noise levels with the last one we had. With the onset of winter, decided to get a new one and picked this unit. First impression, very quiet in operation and stripping a full tank out from a particular room where we have a bit of a damp issue (Awaiting roofer !). Very impressed with the features and build quality for the price.
Only slight negative is that the container is a bit tricky to pull out and can splash out a bit when full, but overall a very good purchase and recommended

This machine is on 8 hours a day in the winter and works really really well. It sits next to our wet laundry and sucks up liters of water a day. My one complaint is that it is very loud. We take care of it and clean the filters, so I don’t think it’s user error. Would buy again if quieter.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBest purchase of my life
My old apartment was humid to the point any fabric in the area felt wet. There was mold everywhere (refurbished apartment in very old building) and it was starting to even affect my breath. This lil boy spent the whole winter on. Didn’t turn it off not a single time and run like a beast. Had to change the tank every 8 hours or so but it was great. Has a night mode that makes it a bit quieter, but if you’re a very light sleeper might take a while getting used to. I’ve a light sleep but after a good days with it on, I got used to the noise and didn’t really bother me. The humidity was starting to affect my breath so a lil bit of noise during night time wasn’t a big deal, better than not being able to breathe right xD
The apartment was quite small, but it was good enough to coved my whole living area/ open kitchen. I scrubbed the mold off before getting the dehumidifier and it didn’t really come back (just some spots in the windows due to condensation when cooking). It’s got a vent you can pop off and clean when covered in dust. Mine took a good while to get dusty but it depends on how dusty your house gets I guess.
It barely uses up electricity. Like I said, i had it on nonstop for about 3 months and didn’t affect much my electricity bills.
Very happy with my purchase overall.

Good dehumidifier although a little noisy
This is a very good dehumidifier that takes a full tank of water from our bedroom every day.
It has a defrost mode that automatically kicks in if the unit freezes up which is good if your room is cold.
You can connect a hose instead of the water tank if you have a way to permanently set it to drain.
It is a bit on the noisy side, we have it running 24/7 and you do get used to the noise over time.

I bought this as it’s very humid in our house, condensation plagues our windows and walls especially during the winter so running this helps to prevent that. It’s nice not having to wipe the windows down in the mornings. It’s not as quiet as I had hoped. It is disruptive to my sleep but I am a light sleeper. It does the job though and I recommend it. Only downside I can give is the tube that comes with it for expelling the collected water to an external source is just too short to make any practical use with so if that’s your plan you will need to buy a longer one.
