Has 720 and 1080 modes which are selected by an easy to access mini-switch. Simple to use and does the advertised job well.
Ps2 has issues upscaling to an HD TV, lots of picture issues and noise. Set this thing up and there was nothing, very clear picture and no static noise
The rca to hdmi adaptor has worked for all my consoles upto dreamcast but be warned it only supports upto 50hz so don’t try to play at 60hz any consoles or they won’t work properly on a tv. I have successfully got consoles from master system upto dreamcast and the n64 does work as I played command and conquer and Donkey kong 64 with success I haven’t tried gamecube as I have a proper hdmi adaptor for that but I would imagine it would support 50hz mode only.

This adapter works really great so now I can use my Sony DVD player with my new Samsung smart TV.
While the picture quality is poor, this device does the job. It synchs my VCR / DVD player with my SmartTV and I’m able to view old tapes. Haven’t watched a DVD yet, so don’t know if transmission is better with those.
The item worked like a charm and, now, my offices are happy to be playing Goldeneye on the massive 80″ TVs!
This allows me to play my original Xbox on modern TV’s that only have a HDMI input. It does nothing to increase or worsen the quality, not that I expected it to.
The actual item does feel extremely cheaply made with very light and hollow feeling plastic, so I feel it is a tad expensive for the quality, but hey it works as expected.

Works grate was fast and easy to set up very happy with the size as well it’s quite small so it can be hidden easily picture quality is pretty good as well only thing that is a inconvenience is it needs power but if you have a power bank or a free usb slot somewhere you are set to plug and play
Really good now I can play wii games on my wii u since the TV doesn’t support the cable. My only complaint is that it needs to be powered which is annoying but nothing an extension cable can’t fix (I only have 2 charging ports next to the TV). It was really easy to set up just plug everything in and go to settings to change the TV output. One of the outputs made the TV flash lights which was annoying but the other output worked fine.

The lack of RCA I/P on my new TV created a problem solved by this clever device.
Wanted to boot up the ol’ Playstation 2, but I have a smart TV now and it doesn’t like aux input. Got this, plugged in the colored cables on one end, HDMI the other, powered it via the USB port on my TV, and voila! Works perfectly and easy to set up.

I initially struggled to get this item to play the footage from my camcorder to my smart tv, but after contacting the supplier, with my problem, they emailed me back within 12 hours, to help me sort the problem successfully, which was to simply plug the usb cable (that was supplied) into my phone charger plug. Don’t see much of a difference between 720 and 1080 upscaling, but does a brilliant job at changing the signal to HDMI. Great value and performs well.
BE WARNED! Supplied USB cable but not a wall adapter, so be sure to pick one up if you don’t have a powered USB socket to hand.

Works perfectly. I do a lot of game console streaming and my Dreamcast, Xbox, Wii, and N64 use RCA connection. Now I can Livestream my gameplay on these older consoles in 720P or 1020P. Easy to set up plug and play.

Purchased to hook up my SNES to my TV that did not have the RCA connector ports. This was very easy to setup, and once I connected there was a blue screen for a few minutes and then we were off and running. No noticeable issues with picture quality or sound, works fine. Please with this for the setup and price point.

We needed this adapter for our Wii, we had brought our Wii over from NZ to America and when we tried to play any Wii game, the screen was black and white which made the games difficult to play. When we purchased this adaptor, brought the color back and life back into the Ol’ Wii game. A Game-changer! For something so compact/easy to use, it made such a difference!
It’s great! Fixed my issue. Sadly my monitor doesn’t have speakers so I had to sort out another cable to fix my adapter to speakers. Would have been a great idea to add an aux port on this.

Amazon is flooded with the the competition’s products and yes they look streamline and do not require power, but I purchased 2 and got digital distortion and poor quality on both. Should have went with my gut, this was my 1st choice, Clear picture no distortion and very easy to use not to mention the price! Dont waste your time like I did, THIS is what you WANT! Great product wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or purchase from them again!
Bought this product to connect a Nintendo Wii to my smart TV. The product didn’t seem to work at first, but it came with a note from the seller asking to get in touch if there were any issues. I sent them an email and promptly received a detailed response back with step by step instructions and all works really well now.
You can still manage to play it but the games do appear to be quite blurry. I’m not expecting to have N64 turn into this crystal clear HD picture but I expect to at least get the old picture from when I played on a big box tv.

Works great on our old DVD player. Would have been nice if it came with a HDMI cord, but overall its good. Easy to work and understand, pretty straight forward.
This RCA to Hdmi converter does an excellent job. The image is obviously not HD but the Wii Mini is not capable of producing such an image. The colours are bright, it is displayed in wide screen with no stretching of the image, and the quality is surprisingly good.
How long the product will last is anyone’s guess but at the time of writing I can 100% recommend for anyone wanting to connect a Wii Mini.
Brought this agter realising my Samsung TV doesn’t have any ports for my Wii. Easy to set up you get the adapter and the USB cable in the set, however you need to have a hdmi to hdmi cable! Works a treat very happy.
Bought this to hook up PS2 to a PC screen and have no complaints. It does exactly what it should.
Worked well with a few devices but didn’t deliver with a pal N64.
INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE BETTER. I COULDN’T GET THE ITEM TO WORK TO CONNECT MY WII TO MY NEW TV AND WAS IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING THE ITEM. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THE COMPANY, AND EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM. THEY CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY WITH ADVICE. I TOOK THIS AND IT WORKED! SO 5 FOR SERVICE.
The headline pretty much says it all. It is “not” an upscaler. It only converts from analog to digital. That’s it. However, that’s all I needed, so it works for me.
worked just fine, was a little shaky in the beginning. There’s an option on the side to do either 1080p or 720. It only worked for the 720p on mine. I used this to hook up my Wii to a computer monitor. pretty good considering the price.
This worked well for us to replay 8mm videos from our camcorder onto the latest tv that no longer has the relevant ports. The picture quality was slightly compromised but at least we could watch old family videos- until we get them uploaded to newer formats.
Picture isn’t as normal HD tv but it’s not far off considering I’m using it for the very old original wii, AV to HDMI as my new TV doesn’t have connections. I did try AV 3-1 cable but terrible. This box works perfectly

Sometimes but not often, there are video or sound issues that happen. Simply restart or change the input back & forth to fix. Could be my n64s fault and I have no way to tell otherwise.
I bought 2 of these to connet a Wii and a DVD player to a new television. The Wii and the DVD player both had RCA connections and teh TV did not. This was the perfect solution to be able to connect RCAs to a HDM I and works perfectly

Bought item to connect Wii to a new TV, with only hdmi. Had an issue with flickering, but support advised me to change the settings on the Wii to use a 50hz tv type, and it worked perfectly.

Works perfectly. Allowed us to connect a retro games console with a triple RCA outlet to an HDMI monitor. Modern 4k TVs might not support your device if the output is low resolution but in our case a standard monitor worked.

It’s a great all around product would definitely recommend for a casual gamer or just some who needs a converter especially considering the price. But if your really into your graphics and playing an N64 images will be a little grainy. I’d recommend an upscale to be sure used in conjunction. Thanks great product!

Very impressed with the product. It was simple to setup and I was able to connect my Blu ray DVD player with AV ports to TV with HDMI port. The clarity on bigger screen is not great when viewed closer about from a distance it is perfect. It is good on a smaller screen.

I’m not very educated on tv resolutions. But all I can tell is that the picture is much clearer and sharper than AV output.

This is a simple upscaler which takes in a rca input from one side and outputs it to a 720p or a 1080p hdmi output.
Using it I’ve seen a clear difference and the quality is a lot better. A nice way to enjoy these old VHS that I have.

I got this so that I could use my older game systems (Sega Genesis/SNES/N64) on my new tv. It definitely works for that. Does it magically turn the old graphics into 1080p? No, but expecting that is honestly unrealistic. What it does is sizes the video output to your screen and lets you use old game systems on TVs that may not have RCA hookups. I haven’t noticed any lag either, which is nice.
May end up picking up a few more of these so I can have all the old systems hooked up without having to swap cords around.
2 things we realized while trying to do it were: 1. You need an HDMI to HDMI cable in order to connect them- so we had to purchase that separately and 2. The product has to be plugged in in order for it to work. It comes with a USB charger so a power bar is handy.
I used it to hook up my laserdisc player to my new fangled 4k Samsung smart TV and I can tell you, it works. Haven’t gone on a massive laserdic viewing binge so I can’t tell you too much more than that, but I could watch my old laserdics of the theatrical cut of Empire Strikes Back with it, and that’s what I bought it for.
Works very well and the image quality are very good. Highly recommend for people who need their old video output to modern devices such as smart tv. Hdmi recorder. New projector.
