I read the reviews before purchasing as it is a lot of money to spend and get it wrong. My (adult) daughter has been going on about a keyboard recently and I caved to get her this as her Christmas present. I am delighted. Looks great, sounds great and the features seem unending. I know she will be thrilled with it. Some reviews say it is cheap and to be fair, if you are a professional musician, it is. For a sometime, wannabe rock star however, it is a fab piece of kit.
The keyboard has a good sound, useful accessories for beginners. By end of first day son was playing a tune.

Prefer this to the previous RJ661SK keyboard, as this one has a MIDI interface on it.
Using an Apark Midi Cable – USB Type C Connector to Type B Midi Interface (like a USB printer), to the port on the keyboard. Using the Simply Piano app on Fire Tablet HD 8 it worked no problems. Please note that you specifically need to use a MIDI cable and not the cable that came with your tablet /phone as I believe they are wired differently.

A great product for a beginner, except for the stand, which is rather wobbly – at least on our carpet. The sound quality is, as they advise, best if used with headphones – and linked to my iPad via the Midi link at back for lessons on Simply Piano (extra cable needed). Best thing about using headphones is that no one can hear how dreadfully I play!

This was a Christmas present for my 11 year old. She absolutely loves it, five months later is still on it all the time. The equipment is easy to use, easy to set up, and doesn’t take up loads of space. I love that it comes with its own stool and headphones too. I can’t recommend this highly enough for a young person interested in learning the keyboard. We invested in a subscription to the Simply Piano app – you get a free trial of this with the equipment. Well worth the money, she’s playing music as if she were having lessons.
Look, it’s a cheap all in one setup which is great for the little ones. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a quality piece of music electronics but I suppose it’s not build to be. Overall pretty decent and my son loves it, but I wonder just how long the thing will last. We will see.
I bought this keyboard for my daughter on her birthday. She likes it very much. The built quality is good. After about 2 months of use, my son broke the pin of the headphone jack of the headphone. I contacted the seller after another 2 months. The customer support agent Paul was super nice. He arranged a replacement headphone for me and had it shipped to me from UK to Ireland in just 2 days. That is some top level customer support. I would highly recommend this keyboard.
Great buy for us… Easy to put together, fab little stool comes with, sound is great.. 8yr old learning to play panio is finding it easier as comes with note stickers for each key. Lots of different sounds and features to explore. Very happy
I bought this for my granddaughter’s 9th birthday and she loves it. Her mum downloaded the app which has been brilliant and easy to follow. The tone of the keyboard is lovely so all in all a good purchase.

This keyboard was easy to set up and has a good range of instruments rhythms sounds etc. It’s easy to play anything but hard to play the piano properly! I’m struggling to find a way to record directly into my computer via a usb cable!

I bought the keyboard to see if I could learn the piano. It’s a very low cost option and comes with a stand and stool so the correct position could be set easily. I’ve only tried grand piano and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. The sound isn’t great but certainly good enough for a beginner starting out on a musical learning adventure.

The sound quality is great (of course not the same as a piano but that doesn’t matter for me as a beginner to be honest). Would recommend!

Brilliant piece of kit. Bought for my 8 year old daughter so beginner level; even my 15 year old son has got in the act so definitely a fab buy. Not planned but it’s given my two kids a shared interest and it’s lovely to see the both of them teaching themselves tunes. I’m an adult and I thinks it’s an excellent keyboard for those looking to learn the keyboard/piano. It can’t do anything fancy in terms of playing quitely or loudly or softly etc. but that is beyond my ability at the piano so it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had it for a few months now and havn’t had any problems with it and the stand and stool are useful.
Very easy to assemble and doesn’t require any additional tools. Would recommend to anyone new to the piano/keyboard but anyone with any skill might want a better quality one.

Just be aware that android users only get 1 month free use of the app, after that it is 10-15 pounds each month depending on the membership you go for. Apple users only get 3 months free.

I’m a beginner trying to learn keyboard. I find this one very easy to learn on. I love that it comes with note stickers so it’s easier to remember notes. The simply piano free month trial is really good and I’ve continued using it now, paying only a small price each month. It is the easiest way to learn for me. It comes with a stool and stand which are easy to put together.
Unbelievable value. There are so many functions. It is everything you need to get playing. Amazon also offers free online classes after purchase. I bought a few books and had never played before. It will bring warmth to any home like an open fire.

I got this for my daughter who is 8 for Christmas. It is her first keyboard and it is amazing, love that it comes with all the accessories including headphones so she can play as much as she likes. The stand and seat are great too. It’s been the most played with item she received for Christmas
I am a total novice and wanted to learn to be able to accompany myself singing. The keyboard is fantastic value for money. The free piano lessons sounded great, but the app was no good for me. So I have found a couple of free lesson providers on youtube, and I can now play a few basic chords and can make them sound like so much more!

I bought this for my 12yr old daughter after she showed an interest in Music at school. So far, it has been the most sucessful christmas present! She opened it at 5:30pm, and hasn’t stopped playing since – hours go by!
The earphones are a really nice touch, but be careful, she managed to break hers within 4 hours so keep them safe. The app is brilliant, she was able to read simple music within a day, it even surprised me! Best present this year!

I am not a musician, but the sound is pretty good. It was very easy to set up, my kids did it (age 7 and 11). The only issue was the stand, two bolts which are holding the stand are not the best quality, very wobbly.

Brilliant, I’m no expert on these things but I read all the reviews and generally most were really positive, any way my 9 year old loves it and she said it was the best birthday present ever so that’s good enough for me, any keep her off it glad we got it with headphones though while she’s practicing lol, stool seems surprisingly substantial and generally it was very easy to erect once opened and we just plugged it in and away she went. The sound quality is not great, especially noticable if using headphones. Also the keyboard stand is not particularly sturdy.
My biggest gripe with this keyboard is that the lowest volume setting is too loud both for headphones and without. I usually end up using volume of around 9 with the headphones sitting around my neck.

Bought as a present at the end of last year for granddaughters. They are really happy with it and subscribed to the Simply Paino which they have found to be excellent . We decided to buy another for another grandchild .what is disappointing is that nowhere does it state that the app is only downloadable to an iPad running iOS 10 or later. The iPad available to our granddaughter is quite old and to use the app there is now an obligation to upgrade an ipad which is not needed for anything else.Disappointimg to say the leas
Very simple to assemble, quite alright quality, fine keys and sound for most of the instruments. You can either just have fun playing silly tunes or download an app, watch youtube tutorials and learn to play classic, jazz or even some house tunes. Amazing value for money! You will never regret buying this!

I recently decided that I would like to learn the keyboard and was looking for an affordable starter keyboard. This keyboard comes with everything I need (stand, headphones, a stool and even free lessons (though I haven’t tried the lessons yet)). The sound quality seemed ok and I enjoy mixing the various sounds together. It was easy to assemble and overall very pleased. Had it for less than a week now but so far so good.
I have played piano for many years, having downsized my son who plays kindly gave my digi piano a good home.
The keyboard arrived today and is amazing. I haven’t stopped playing it this morning.

I love the headphones and the fact we can connect to the iPad and the key stickers are included. It’s a great little stater kit and I’m very pleased with it.

Super easy and quick to set up. You get a month free on the app to teach you and a few hours in I’m playing We Are The Champions by Queen. Absolutely chuffed and super motivated to carry on learning tomorrow! The app goes at whatever pace you wish and listens to you playing to assist your learning. SO impressed this is perfect for beginners.
From the reviews I’d read it was unclear whether the keyboard had pressure sensitive response on the keys.
It doesn’t, but no matter, I bought it to learn the basics of piano and to learn how to read music during the Coronavirus outbreak, and in the week or so it’s been here, I’ve grasped the basics of reading notes on a staff, and playing them, so it’s already done what I wanted.
If you want something that responds to the force you apply, this is not for you, but for a beginner, I think this is as good a keyboard to start with as any.
I enjoyed the product but the part where it comes with the name of the brand in the meedle of the stand came with a dent and it was meant to be a present, so just because of that I wasnt 100% happy, they should be more careful with the delivery. Other than that it was perfect.
This keyboard was bought for my daughters and they love it. The sound quality is great and the teaching mode is very useful. However, the keyboard is slightly overpriced for what it is but alas a good investment.
Really good keyboard. My only criticism is that it turns on at full volume rather than remembering what it was on as its buttons and not a dial. Sadly my children do not seem to care or notice!!
Bought for my daughter, the keyboard itself is pretty good. People with a broader experience of instruments might not share this opinion but as a starter for a child I think it fits the bill.
The stand that comes with it is its weakest point, you press a key and the whole keyboard wobbles. Maybe consider getting a better one.
I’m sure if someone took to the art, they would quickly upgrade so more keys and weighted keys. For that though you pay many times more than this.

Hi, the keyboard no longer makes a sound. This was bought on the 19th March and even with the volume up high or trying with the headphones it doesn’t make any sound even though it registered like it does. Please help.
