Marvellous
should have got one sooner, I was fed up trying to get the hair out of my normal hoover, especially as it is fairly long now, but this had solved the problem. Great movability and easy for an arthritic old lady to use. Fits away nice and tidy, and a lovely long cord which allows me to hoover the whole bungalow without having to keep unplugging and moving the plug somewhere else. I prefer the corded one as I once had (not a Shark) battery one and found it a nuisance to keep having to charge it up and in the end the battery just gave out. Cannot comment on the stairs bit as I obviously do not have any.
I like this machine.
First results were impressive. Very happy about suction and dog hair lift. However not so sure about the anti hair wrap. I’ve had to clear the rollers twice already and I’ve only used it three times. Maybe it will improve now that the carpets are now cleaner.

I absolutely LOVE this hoover! We hoovered with our ordinary hoover yesterday and this is what the shark picked up today. So easy to use and it feels a bit heavy at first but soon get used to it. Amazing value for money
Life Changing
My life was a constant misery. Every morning I would wake up and nearly collapse in tears at the amount of dust and debris my hurricane evo hoover would not pick up, I’d be hoovering all evening and could never achieve a flawlessly clean carpet.
After purchasing this hoover, everything has changed.
It grips nicely in the hand, is very easy to assemble, and sucks up every single piece of dust and debris, I now enjoy hoovering, something I used to despise.
As an owner of a massive sofa, this hoover a ability to bend and arch in anyway I desire is fantastic, don’t worry about not being able to see what you’re picking up as this bit of kit comes with head lamps included.
Please, do yourself a favour and purchase a shark, a true game changer at a reasonable price.

I haven’t bought a vacuum cleaner in about 15 years so I was taking the plunge buying a Shark, but I have no regrets. Significantly lighter than my old traditional vacuum, it’s both half the size and half the weight. It’s actually a bit fancy for a vacuum with it’s rose gold colour!. Took me by surprise when I first used it – so light it could run away with you and the head is ‘on a ball’ so you can get around corners so easily. It’s actually too powerful for rugs, if you try to vacuum the rug it sucks it up so you have to do it with the extension. That is the only slight minor point, as others have said, it can get quite heavy to just use the motor & extension on the stairs, so just have a coffee in between chores or something :). I also bought corded so I didn’t lose power and at 10m it’s plenty long enough. Gets deep into the bedroom carpets – no complaints from me!

Obviously the tank is quite small. Much smaller than the Dyson cordless stick. But it’s quickly emptied and on balance I’m very pleased with it. I can do my whole apartment without having to unplug i

It is lightweight to use with stick and moves easily. Not so light to use the detachable head for stairs, as this is where the motor is. Perhaps using the detachable part on its own would be hard for people with arthritic wrists/thumb joints. I am overall very pleased with suction and manoeuvrability.

Be mindful that this machine will not stand upright on its own unless the handle is folded first, a negative for some people maybe but I don’t mind. The dust collection chamber is very small but it’s so easy to empty I just empty it after every use. I love the lights at the front of the vacuum when hoovering dark places. There is plenty of cable on it to allow me to plug into one socket and do the whole of the upstairs or downstairs. To me it’s a perfect cleaner. When registered online you get a five year warranty. Great lightweight vacuum but heavy duty when it comes to suction power!
Got this product for my 82 year old mum to replace a very heavy other mains wired well known brand. She absolutely loves it, she has a cordless Dyson (one of the older models) which she does use for hard to reach areas and stairs. She wanted a light weight corded similar to a Dyson that beats her longer thicker pile carpets. She loves the anti hair wrap and says this Shark is one of the best machines she has owned, also so easy to empty and a lovely long cord too!
Love this vacuum
I really love this vacuum, it gets all the dust and hair without getting tangled. I have long thick curly hair and this handles it amazingly with the anti hair wrap. The way it stores is brilliant.
2 things I don’t love (hence 4 rather than 5 stars:
– you have to unwind the entire cable to use the vacuum. So if you’ve just got a small area to vacuum you’ve got to unwind all 10ft of cable.
– it’s quite clunky to use because of the weight distribution but gets better with time.
Anti Hair Wrap - I don't think so!
looks a great hoover, though no good on rugs (ones with a pile), standing up is a no go and should have option to lower handle as I am not a tall person.

Great suction! Has a sleek and compact design makes storing it in our flat super easy. Light weight to an extent but tougher to push on carpets. Fine for us but my mother with Fibromyalgia would struggle on carpet! The flexible option is perfect for getting under our sofa and dining table love this feature!
We have a dog and my own hair seems to shed everywhere, I’ve had no problems with this Hoover getting tangled or clogged!

I have a cordless bush hoover but always wanted a shark so when it was on offer I took the plunge, it’s a lot heavier then the bush one but that was super light so compared to other hoovers I don’t think it would be any heavier, I used my bush hoover for the living room and then used this and the amount of crap that came up after using the bush shocked the life out of me! It was cringe worthy! This shark hoover is so powerful! Anti hair wrap is amazing! Looks good too considering it’s just a hoover, it’s worth the money even at full price. It my new best friend, even the husband has hoovered a few times without been asked which is a big deal! AND there’s nothing more liberating then seeing those hoovered strokes in your carpet!

At first I did find the Shark heavy to use on carpets etc and then the same with the hand held vac but as I was used to a cylinder vacuum then I knew it would take time for me to adjust. All in all I am very please with this purchase and if (when I can afford it) I may buy a cordless anti hair wrap. Registration was easy on line and confirmation back very promptly.

I can’t believe I’m writing this about a vacuum cleaner but this has changed my life!! It’s so easy to use and switch between hand held and upright, it gathers so much dust (you will be appalled at your old vacuum) and the hair wrap works really well with mine and my daughter’s long hair.

first class vac
well thought out vac light weight powerful compact it picks up brilliantly easy to maneuver full set of tools particularly like the fact it converts into a small hand held with out any fuss it put our 4 year old miele to shame with what it picked up and a nod to the packing all cardboard and paper bags no plastic
Compact and very good suction.
It’s nice, compact and very good suction, long cord. The only thing is that you have to empty the waste part after every room. I have a dog and 2 cats so it’s perfect but it fills up quickly! Very happy with it otherwise.
Great anti-hair wrap hoover!
Love this hoover. Bought mainly as I have long hair and was sick of pulling hair of the brushes but this is fab! Gave it 4 stars as the cable is a pain and also does not stand upright on its own you need to fold into storage position in between rooms.

Lightweight, good suction easy to use. My only slight Moan would be that the dust collection container is quite small and it is a bit tricky to empty, however it’s true that no hair gets stuck in the brush. Overall pleased with performance

Brought this to replace a cordless Dyson! The best decision I ever made. This Hoover is amazing I would definitely recommend. Picks up twice as much and the lead is huge I can do all my downstairs without having to unplug Iran’s even do the stairs. Amazing Hoover very highly recommended

Love this. Went from a very heavy pull along dyson. Glad I went corded as had seen mixed reviews on the cordless and have a Dalmatian so needed something that was going to keep its power. Previous cordless dyson did not last. Love how Leighton weight it is.
When using it without the stick for the stairs for example it can become quite heavy on the wrists if using for long periods of time, when I hover the entire house, skirting boards and ceiling my wrists know about it. But for regular short usage it’s perfect! I love it so much I get carried away and want to hover everything!

Best cleaner I’ve ever owned
Arrived a day after ordering. My last cleaner was a cordless Dyson and before that a Dyson animal cylinder, in my view battery cleaners are good for in between times but not powerful enough for a deep clean, especially getting into corners and edges. This corded stick is so great, I was about to choose to go back to a corded cylinder and then thankfully I saw this and it’s even better than expected, excellent suction. The video doesn’t show how easy it is to slip off the head and without the need of any attachment you can use the tube which has been cleverly angled and rubber tipped, it works like a crevice tool and gets in around door frames, stairs, skirting and corners it’s so versatile. Easy to empty and the dust container whilst not big is well designed and separates dust and fluff with a cone shaped filter. Really long cord and unlike a cylinder nothing to drag behind you to bump into things, it’s light and to lift the body off and have a hand led with the same nozzle (crevice tool without out the need of an attachment) or pop on an attachment. I read a review which said it doesn’t stand up on its own, this is because it nice and light but all you need to do is press the button on the middle of the pipe and it bends in half now it will stand perfectly with just the touch of a button, or just lay it on the floor no need to try and prop it up whilst you move things around. Thank you Shark for designing my perfect cleaner.
Super hoover!!
I bought this shark hoover the other day. March 2021. I have moved into a new flat and had new carpets laid. There was a lot of fibres and dust etc. This picked up everything. I filled them emptied the chamber that holds all the stuff that’s picked up. I added a picture of the dust from this morning it picked up.
It’s easy to use. You need to fold it over with a click of a button to enable it to stand freely in your cupboard. It has a button to press to change from hard flooring to carpet. I have both and it has worked a treat. I haven’t used the but for doing stairs as I don’t have any in my flat.
This is a great hoover and I got it with a good discount. Very happy with it.
Lightweight, powerful and easy to use and empty.
This vacuum is lightweight, powerful and with a long cord reaches several rooms from one socket. Great for cleaning the car interior and easy to empty, although the dust caddy is small it is so quick and easy to empty, does a great job of picking up hair which it wraps around the cone in the dust caddy. If you do happen to hoover up something by mistake it’s very easy to find without having to search through loads of dust or cutting open the dust bags as on some models. The only draw back and it is small is that it won’t stand up on its own so we just lean against a wall or chair. A brilliant buy and comes with a 5 year warranty, just register online.

Love this Hoover it’s got amazing suction would have given 5 stars but I find it a little frustrating that you can not stand it up when moving furniture to Hoover. I have always had Dyson and this is so much better it’s so easy to empty and have not had any problems with long hair in the brushes

I’ve always been a Dyson person , but after seeing this in action I decided to buy one , now I’ve binned the dyson , this shark out performs the dyson in nearly every way, its suction power is excellent, and the duo head cleaner is marvellous only down side is the small dirt collecto

Love this vacuum . I previously had a different make cordless stick vacuum but found the battery replacement didn’t recharge so well. I thought long and hard about going back to corded, I’m not disappointed!
I gave 4 stars as this is slightly heavier and the attachment is a bit stiff to take off the wand.

I’ve never really owned a ‘quality’ vacuum cleaner before due to my previous address being mainly hard floor. Following many reviews into makes and models I decided to go for this ‘stick’ shark vacuum in the corded option. The suction was brilliant and actually embarrassing how much dirt and hair it brought up despite vacuuming with a previous (substandard) appliance. It was so easy to assemble and use, compact, easy to take apart for like use for high areas and handheld for stairs etc. Slightly heavier that I’d have thought but not anything that personally put me off. Although it is plug in it has a long cord and for me personally it is easier not having to rely on it charging for use next time, the cord doesn’t cause me an issue and suits me just fine

So took the plunge and got his shark! Wow. You know you have truly hit middle age when you are excited about a vacuum, but it’s brilliant. Easy to use, cable is so long! I thought the lights were daft but they actually help highlight dustbin a dark floor so really help! The dust pot (yes it’s about the size of a can of beans) is small so be prepared to empty after each use but it’s also really easy to empty! Sucks really well! Easy to break into parts for stairs or the car as it’s a full size and handheld in one. It’s snaps in half for storage which is class and takes up no room in a cupboard. Really impressed with this. Amazing little vaccum
We had a very old Dyson, so this is a complete ball changer for me. The cord is long enough to reach the other end of my house. Hair doesn’t get stuck it sucks up dust and other bits easily with one pass. The only thing I dislike is the size of the bin, either the Dyson I had before wasn’t picking up the dust or I have a lot of dust in my house but it’s light weight and compact enough to get it out frequently when needed. But easy for the stairs and to clean my car, need to empty more frequently but it’s a small issue.

Folds down to next to nothing and comes with a sensible amount of tools (2). Use this daily for a lockdown house with 2 young boys who leave crumbs, crisps etc everywhere. Had a minor concern about the size of the rubbish collector but nothing to worry about. Haven’t filled it yet in one complete hoover of the house, even if you do it takes 20 seconds to empty. The head feels slightly smaller compared to a traditional hoover but within one day you don’t realise. One minor gripe is that it doesn’t stand up on its own but it’s not e end of the world, just lean it against something. Admittedly it’s not cheap but add another 100 for a similar dyson model. As long as this doesn’t break down I’d consider it a great purchase.

The best vacuum I’ve ever bought. I have spent a fortune over the last nearly 50 years of buying vacuums and i can say without question that for ease of movement thiscis by far the best. I have predominantly but not solely wooden floors. This really sucks the dust and anything else straight up the vac, does not spread it around the house. Its realky lightweight great manoeuvrability. Excellent Vacuum cleaner. Easy to use. Very pleased and would recommend it 100%.
Comparing this to a Henry hoover I’d say the suction power is a lot better and since its in a smaller unit its easier to carry around the house.
Being enable to switch between setting for carpet and hard floors meant I get get the carpet vacuumed and move into the kitchen with laminate flooring by just tapping the button.
Strong 4 stars my only gripe is the cable cord, it would be nice if they thought of a way to keep it tidy or have a mechanism to do so.

Excellent versatile corded vacuum
This is a really good vacuum . The suction power is good , easy to empty once you have got used to it . The handheld section is simple to use while cleaning and love the fact it goes right under units and can be manoeuvred into corners . Only two less good points are fact that it needs regular emptying and is not lightweight so older less mobile people may find it difficult to use .

So nice to get a new hoover, I’ve been hanging on with my cordless (D) for a few years because of the cost but it was absolutely rubbish, suction really terrible – this is why we chose a corded vacuum for maximum suction, this Shark is amazing! It has a really long wire 10m so I can get all over the house without keep swapping plugs – the detachable is easy and light to use! I’d never go back to a cordless they just don’t have the suction power!! Plus you turn on button, you don’t have to hold it pressed in as you hoover like the cordless (D). Only design fault/grumble is the wire/cord goes into the end of the handle and can slightly get in the way!
Great suction, disappointing anti hair wrap
The suction on this is fantastic! I hoover my house twice every week, so the amount of dust and fluff this gathered the first time I used it was surprising and amazing! It’s light weight enough for me to manage easily, and the long cord means I can do the whole of the downstairs in one go without having to unplug it and move to another socket. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the anti hair wrap, as it doesn’t exist. I still had to get the scissors out after the first use to cut my hair out of the roller. But I’ll forgive this as the suction is so good. Would recommend giving this a try to anyone

Our first shark, love it! Easy to use but would maybe order one with larger dirt container next time. Great long cable allows you to get on without having to change sockets too often.

Best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had
This is a great cleaner for all surfaces. I have a very sheddy long haired cat and I don’t even need to use the special pet hair attachment. The suction power is consistent because it is a plug in rather than cordless but I’m in an old house with hardly any plug sockets and the cord is long enough for me to have no problems at all. I’ve had a number of different Dusons and this is much better!

I love my shark!!! I was struggling with my old vac because it was so heavy i couldnt hoover the whole house without being in pain. Now i can hoover even the stairs and under the sofas with ease. The little collector is easy to empty and i can do the whole house without needing to rmpty half way. I love the fact that it folds in half for smaller storage. Its no way near as loud as anyother hoover ive had so the dogs don’t bark at it!! Also it has little head lights which are so cute. It maneuvers really well and fits into small corners. Oh and changing to hand held is a simple click. Honestly can not fault this amazing little dude

The hoover arrived earlier than expected. The suction power is great. It hoovered up dirt I didn’t even see on the carpet and my hair didn’t get caught like in previous hoover’s I have used. It has led lights at the front to light up where you’re vacuuming which I thought was pretty nifty. It’s easy to store too, with its folding mechanism. I would recommend

I absolutely love my Anti hair wrap vacuum… I’m a self employed cleaner and I’ve hoovered everything I possibly can with this vacuum… no haors at all wrapped round the bottom unlike my other that I had to clean every day… just love it… the only slight snag I have is the cord… its plenty long enough but it does get in the way (maybe cause I’m used to cordless) but I can get much more vacuuming done without the worry of losing power 🙂

I would like to say I am over the moon with my hoover I give it a 10 out 10 .
This hoover came in a smallish box, yet it was very well packaged and protected. Each part was wrapped up like a Christmas present in brown paper,
When using the light comes really handy! I didn’t think it would, but it’s a game changer.
It quickly Hoover’s up all dirt/hairs, and is quite quiet for a vaccum. My cats usually run off straight away but with this one they aren’t bothered and stay and watch.
This is excellent on rugs and carpets, it really pulls up all the dust from them, it’s surprising how much comes off. The dust container is quite small so each room if you have pets you’ll probably want to empty it for. I appreciate the max line on the container.
The only down side is! The main attachment is way too big to use on my stairs, so in my own situation this is useless for my stairs as they go up in a L shape, (it may be fine with the other attachments) but the attachments I tried do not have any flexibility in them so considering the hoover stick is very tall I can’t hoover the stairs as easily as I’d like.
In all, it’s a great hoover for kitchens, wooden floors, rugs, rooms, etc. Especially for hoovering up long haired moulting dogs

It is light and easy for me to use. My main reason for buying was the anti hair wrap. This is brilliant! I have long hair. First vacuum cleaner which has coped!

Good on carpet and hard floor. I got this, mainly for picking up cotton. I’ve got short hair but throw all my cotton ends on the floor!

Decent for the price, but seems flimsy.
All in, this is a fairly decent hoover. Easy to use, light, and easy to empty. The only major downside I would give it, is that the articulated joints feel very cheap and flimsy. There is a lot of play in the joints, and they will likely wear quickly, and will definitely not withstand any rough treatment. However, if you’re gentle, I would recommend it.
I have an all white long haired collie. This is amazing at picking up all hairs he continually sheds.

I never thought I would so look forward to hoovering the house!!! An exceptional cleaner with incredible suction power and a great clean – lightweight for use on carpet and hard floor and can detach into smaller hand held vacuum as well – very handy indeed! Can highly recommend!

Best hoover i have had! Powerful suction and light, great for me as have a 3 storey house! Only issue is I should of got a cordless but the cord on this is long enough to be plugged in downstairs and still do the middle floo

Like the design and is easy to move around, suction could be better and if I have any criticism it the fact that I cannot when fully assemble leave the Hoover to stand on it’s own.
Shark are the best vacuum cleaners around. Got rid our 2 Dysons and replaced with 2 Sharks they are so much more powerful.

I am very impressed with this vacuum cleaner. It is my first stick vacuum having had several Dyson uprights before now. I need something lighter and easier to manoeuvre yet powerful enough to remove dust and allergens. This Shark fits the bill.
It comes in three main parts out of the box, the floor head, the wand and the motor handheld vacuum part. They very simply click together and the included instructions show very clearly what to do. The cable is a generous 10m long meaning I can get around several rooms without changing sockets.
The power button is within easy thumb reach when holding the vacuum and is a natural and easy click on and off. There are two settings for carpet and hard floor/rugs which are selected via a button next to the power.
I was amazed how quiet the vacuum is. My old one is deafening by comparison. Another plus in the shark’s favour.
I wanted to test the anti-hair wrap as I have long hair which always gets wrapped around vacuum brushes, so I emptied my hairbrush onto the carpet. The instructions say you might see some hair wrapped around the brush at first but that these disappear as you vacuum. There were indeed a few hairs wrapped around when I first vacuumed the hair up, but these had disappeared by the time I finished vacuuming the room. Amazing! I was also concerned that something so small would not have the suction power to pick up all the dust so I went over the room again with my Dyson. There was nothing left on the carpet for the Dyson to pick up. All dust, allergens hairs and debris had been collected by the Shark. In fact, I think it did a much better job than I’m used to.
At first, I found it a bit peculiar using the shark as the weight, such as it is, is in the hand. The floor nozzle is very manoeuvrable and moves from side to side with a twist of your wrist holding the handheld vacuum. Much easier than pushing and pulling an upright back and forth. After a few minutes, I was flying around the room, getting under furniture and into tight spots with no problem. The floor nozzle is not very wide so I was able to get between things into previously inaccessible places. When I had finished, the dust cup was easily removed and emptied. As with most of the different features on this Shark, pressing a button or two gets it done. I like the small dust cup. It easily fits inside the top of the kitchen bin for easy emptying with no dust escaping onto the floor.
It is very easy to change from using the whole Shark to just the wand, minus the floor nozzle, or to just the handheld vacuum and back again. this means I can go from vacuuming the carpet to the cornicing in a split second or to the handheld for furniture or stairs equally easily.
The two tools supplied with this model are enough for doing edges,(crevice tool) upholstered furniture and mattresses, curtains etc and even dusting cornicing and large surfaces with the combined multi-surface tool. The brush part unclicks to reveal a tool brilliant on fabric covered in pet hair or stairs. I would like to have a duster tool though, so I can dust between things and delicate items, which is apparently available for this model. There is nowhere on the Shark to hold the tools. they have to be kept separately. That’s a bit of a shame. It means they have to be carried into each room instead of being mounted on the machine for quick access. Another thing I would like is the cord to have a swivel fitting so it can spin. As it is, it sticks up rather awkwardly at the top of the hand held vacuum. That is a really minor niggle though.
I found the flexi wand amazing . Press a button to release it and the wand breaks in half so the carpet nozzle can easily slide under furniture without having to bend your back. So much easier then I am used to. The carpet nozzle is very flat and can get under very low furniture. The only place it couldn’t reach was under wardrobes with bun feet. There is apparently an accessory tool for getting under appliances which would do the job though. That’s two extra tools I need! The trouble is, I can’t find them on the shark website to order.
The stair tool did a very good job, but the carpet nozzle is so small and easy to twist and turn, I used it on the stairs. Much easier than going over them with the hand-held and attachment and sucks up everything. I also noticed the carpet nozzle really cleans right to the edges.
