Bought this to apply moss remover to my driveway. Allows quite an amount to be applied in one go. To use pump action to make application easy to use
Easy to use. Nice large hole to fill sprayer. cant over pump as pressure release valve. Adjustable strap enables you to carry around with ease. Nice clear levels on the side of the sprayer. Only thing I would add to this item is a variable nozzle to allow you to go from mist spray to slightly more of a jet. but great value for money.
An ok product and don’t be fooled by the spear and jackson branding this is just another mass produced item with transfers applied. But it is a functional garden spray of the ok type for price, previously had the Amazon leading seller which is a few quid more and this is an ok substitute given that one or two parts are not of the same quality but it does the job as well as the dearer models so if you’re a bargain buyer or a canny shopper why not?
Well constructed, good fittings, perfect spray levels for all types of jobs, and the capacity lines are easy to read, unlike others I have used.
so a good quality product that I feel will last.
I use it for weed killer and does the job.
So much easier than the pump ones that weed killer comes in.
Nice 5 litre size so not much refilling.
Only issue would be the nozzle but once set to how you like it then its fine (how many times are you going to want to change the spray shape anyhow.
Yes would 100% again if ever need a second one.

For the price very good, went along with some super strength weed killer and made short work of my drive and garden path.
Makes sense rather than buying the one use all in one sprayer kits so I can use it every year.
Great item easy to unscrew and fill great to put on shoulder for ease and nozzle just about the right size for what I need anyway very pleased with it.
This product is something I should have bought years ago! Instead I put up with awkward shop bought spray bottles. Heavy and cumbersome.
It’s so easy to set up and use. Takes 5 minutes to get going. Large areas can be sprayed efficiently and quickly.
There’s nothing not to like about this sprayer. After trying to fathom out how to assemble a knapsack sprayer unsuccessfully – (yeh I know easy for you practical minded but not me! Ha) I switched to this instead and was not disappointed. So easy to use by comparison, comes virtually assembled, which is handy for the non technical, non practical novices like me!
Used with a soluble fertiliser with no problem at all. Highly recommended!
Great pumps. Bought two, one for weed killer the other for pesticide so marked them to ensure I didn’t get each confused.
Pump to a nice pressure with good control to get your desired spray pattern. Spray is easy to set from jet to very fine mist by tightening or loosening the lance, which itself is nice and long to reach the top of plants or fruit trees. Even when full time maximum light enough to carry without the need for the included shoulder strap.
Inexpensive and good value for money, so it’s to be expected that some elements are a bit flimsy eg. the spray nozzle. Worked well, and did the job when used for first time yesterday.
Purchased to spray preservative on my fence. For the price I thought it was worth a try. Absolutely brilliant. Covered 5 fence panels in less than 10 minutes. Used clear preservative so over spray didn’t matter. If you were using a coloured stain or wood treatment then spend some time masking up the posts and gravel boards. I have to say I am very impressed.
Had one for years worked good decided to get two more one for home one for greenhouse on in greenhouse as PUC both seals no good water comes back up pump on inspecting bottom rubber crumpled up round washer to loose on fitting I have sent a email to you
Really good value for money. Fill with water, pump it to pressurize it and away you go. It isn’t the most powerful but great for cleaning bins or patio etc just have to be patient.
A lot of packaging but then the neighbor’s dont know what it is. It was simple to assemble I needed to adjust the spray to my needs apart from that its definitely fit for purpose and great value for money
Ive been trying to get rid of thousands of weeds from my pebbled garden and this works amazingly must be Golden Swan white vinegar to do the job. (Ordinary vinegar won’t work)
Bought this to spray water seal on block paving. Took a chance as I thought the water seal would clogg the
Nozzle. After use I put a small amount of white spirit in and flushed through. So far sprayer has survived and I am now going to spray my fence with cuprinol. The sprayer is robust considering the low cost.
I was going to buy a no-name sprayer for about 10 but this one suddenly dropprd in price (again) so I went for it. It’s a good buy at around 11 but I have no idea why the price keeps bouncing up and down.
Perfect for watering the plants. Spray is powerful and can get right to the base without drenching petals like a watering can does. We have a second that we use with disinfectant on our artificial grass. Can’t fault these handy sprays!
Nice little bottle to use , lightweight, easy too fill and use for paths , small driveways, and borders .
I have had this product for 13 months during which it has been used no more than 8 times.
The compression pump has now failed rendering the product useless.
Easy to fill,pump etc. Adjusting spray cone/form is hit and miss, ends up either too direct or too misty! but overall very good
I use this to bleach my drive. Easy and simple to use

The day after I wrote the first review I received an e-mail from Spear and Jackson apologising for the problem with the sprayer.Saying they would post off washers in hope it solved the leak (which it did).The sprayer now works perfect.Thanks again S&J for great service.

Cleaning paths back and front garden.with a acid and white vinegar mix great job
It is easy and straightforward to use. My only concern is when opening it, it is a bit harder as there is an object on each side blocking your grip.
This pressure sprayer is so simple to assemble. It’s easy to use and has very clear instructions. It has a shoulder strap which makes it comfortable to operate. Very good value fir money.

I bought this to spray a picket fence with algae remover – it saved me a lot of hard work. Do just be mindful of overspray and potect plants, including the other side of the fence.
Good product easy to use but does take a bit of pumping to get the pressure up for the spray so maybe not good for people with shoulder problems or arthritis but otherwise excellent spraying.
It was a good value for money purchase and works perfectly and is easy to use. Because the sprayer swivels 360 degrees it makes the job of spraying both the top and underside of leaves to get at hidden bugs a doddle. It does what I wanted it to do adequately and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend one to someone else for the same use.
Coming from Spear & Jackson I expect it to last somewhat longer than other makes. Time will tell. It will get heavy and varied use in a large garden.

Just what I needed. Disinfected the bins outside. Disinfected pathway. Disinfected parts of the cat run keeping our cats safe too and disinfecting doggy poop areas. I used an animal safe/kennel lemon disinfectant which smells fresh and clean. This can also be bought on Amazon UK. Works well together and I am happy with my new toy! Easy to use. Great as it’s got a shoulder strap too. Fantastic product. Highly recommended
Easy to open and charge with weed killer. Spay keeps low and hits the area you want to treat.
Wow this one is amazing I’ve had a few of these in the past and they lose the pressure really quick this one I hardly had to pump . Definitely well worth the money the best one I’ve ever used *****
This is a serviceable appliance, does what it is supposed to do. Perhaps not quite as robust as others on the market but with care should have a reasonable longevity. An acceptable product for the price.
Used this to spray oil based woodstain onto fence panels, does the job fine – if you are doing it with the fence up please be aware you are likely to get spray going through or over the fence and could pepper your neighbours garden, I did this a few years ago but this time laid the panel on plastic and sprayed!
Poor quality seal on top of bottle. Doesn’t hold any pressure now and is useless. Literally used it the once and been sat in garage since. Next time I came to use it it just sprays out from underneath the main filling pump handle cap. Rubbish
What a amazing pressure pump this is. Only needs a few pumps and it’s good to go only needing pumped a few times. Worked great for treating my weed infested garden. You can control the amount of spray pressure you require which is fantastic in my opinion ooh and it has a very handy thing so you can hold it comfortably as it sits on your shoulder like a handbag! if your hesitating, just go on and buy , you will not be disappointed!!

I needed to spray trees and shrubs in my garden for aphids. This unit arrived promptly. Easy to use and was spraying within 30 minutes of delivery.
The nozzle has good adjustments for type of spray.
It was what I wanted for general household/garden use. I needed it for woodworm treatment of beams in my garage. It’s light (before filled) and easy to handle with shoulder strap.
I was a bit apprehensive about this product as it is the first pressure sprayer I have bought, but I was really very pleased with it. It is very easy to use – both in terms of filling it, pumping it up to build the pressure and using the shoulder strap to carry it around while you spray. The spray action is excellent and the seals on the screw top around the filling/pump hole and the pressure release valve all work great. Very good product.
This new one from Spear and Jackson was exactly the same as my old one from another seller. The plastic bits may have been a different colour and the company name and logo different too but they are the same sprayer. An obvious case of the manufacturer re-badging for different sellers. However it’s a good product if treated with respect. This is my second one and in the future I’ll buy it again – at the best price – if I need to. I suppose the advantage is that now I have some spare parts.
I was a bit dubious about ordering this as a replacement for our Killaspray, but I needn’t of worried. OK so it doesn’t seem as robust as our Killaspray in terms of the wand which is plastic rather than metal, but other than that it does the job well and at an excellent price. The spray isn’t difficult to adjust and the carrying strap is an advantage as you don’t need to keep picking it up and putting it down. Overall a good product which is great value for money in comparison with other similar products.
I’ve used this twice now and it produces precision spray quality. it is sturdy and has mechanical physics engine technology: pump the air in via the handle to produce a strong sprayer result, with an air release toggle. All for around 20. I’d recommend.
Good value sprayer. Used this a couple of times now and had no problems. Mist can be set really fine if needed and I’ve enjoyed using this product. Would recommend
Iv never used anything like this before and was a bit apprehensive about how well it would work but I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and efficient it really was.. only thing I will say is wear gloves as I noticed that a few times I was having liquid running onto my hand and it was the bit at the trigger had loosened but when tightened again it stopped, other than that it was great!
Very pleased with this item. It is very reasonably priced and is sturdy and well made. Easy to put together with clear instructions. Now I don’t need a ladder to water my hanging baskets.
Very good product that’s handy to use. It’s large enough to make up your own weed killer and within one use made it’s money back. Make sure that ingredients like salt are dissolved or mixed correctly do as not to block the line filter but easy to unblock with warm water. Satisfied that it’s good value and quality.
Does what it says. The liquid content when pumped does not fully mist out so you get some dropping without spraying as you would have wanted. I like it and don’t expect it to spray paint evenly. I will recommend it highly for watering, fertiliser and others of such nature.
It is a very good sprayer. I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because of 2 reasons. 1) The strap was slightly frayed but only a tiny bit. 2) When I opened it to start filling it, there was a very strong chemical smell. I think this may have been one that has been used and returned as it was also slightly wet inside. One other thing and others have noticed this is the nozzle for adjusting the spray is very stiff. That said, the sprayer is very good and is doing its job.
I expect better quality from an S&J product . Somewhat disappointing in its performance. If you don’t use it after pumping the water pressure handle it doesn’t retain the pressure when you want to use it , so it has to be pumped up again. This applies to me hand one and then 5 ltr In respectively. I’ve had cheaper brands that have performed better.
Works well but pump feels a little flimsy, and I fear the seal may not last. Good so far after 2 months use.
Can’t believe that I have never bought one of these before. Used to apply patio cleaner solution and then washed and used rip apply plant food in borders. Great way to accurately distribute liquids. Will use to apply tire cleaning solution when cleaning car. Better still I’ll just buy another one for that to avoid cross contamination. Great addition to patio, driveway and general gardening equipment. Simple to assemble and easy to use and clean.
I have used this sprayer for weed control using only vinegar, washing up liquid and salt. Sprayer was a pleasure to work with. Very simple to use. Reason I purchased this particular model was because it is manufactured by a very well known garden tool maker whose name I trust.
Great buy. Wish I’d bought one years ago. Put ready to use weed killer in it and applied to all my weeds in 5 minutes without the hand fatigue you get with those wee squirty bottles. And no strain on your back because of the long nozzle.
Bought this sprayer to replace another by another brand. This one is slightly smaller but the coverage of the spray seems identical and the smaller dimensions of the sprayer improves manoeuvrability. Very pleased with my purchase.
I bought this to replace a Hozelock item that had work out.
It’s generally great although the strap has a habit of catching the pressure relief valve and opening it. The handle is flimsy but it hasn’t failed so I feel like I’m being picky as it is clearly fit for purpose. That said, it is very good value for money as you can easily spend twice as much on another product that delivers the same outcome.
The sprayer works very well I used it to spray weeds and as a second sprayer to my main one and am very satisfied.
This is very easy to set up and get going. I’ve had more expensive sprayers but this is the one I prefer. Once pumped up it maintains a fine spray, easily carried and manoeuvred to get under foliage. Also works well when there’s only a little liquid left.
Very sturdy and no self assembly needed. Ready to use out of the box. The spray ‘pipe’ exits from the tank top so is unlikely to be damaged easily or scuffed along the ground as in some other makes. User instructions are on the tank itself and it works brilliantly especially having a shoulder strap to carry it on your shoulder. Great / brilliant, what more can I say. Value for money!!
Exactly what I wanted. Easy to use, not too big. Job done. Seems fairly robust too.
1st item I received was damaged, requested a return & replacement. Originally the automated process sent me a return label where I would have to pay returns. However, when I contacted the supplier querying this they were very friendly and said I did not need to return it at all (surprising as only the nozzle was damaged) and sent me a replacement pretty quickly. If your amazon return does not seem reasonable always politely query – suppliers are usually quite happy to be fair like this one was.
I purchased this for my sister. She wanted to spray paint certain areas of her garden fence. She was very pleased with it and highly recommends it’s efficency.
Used it straight away once I recieved it. The whole product is easy to use and does exactly what its purpose is for. Used it for killing mites solution mixed. you can use it to spray anything in your garden. I will buy it again in the future.
I bought this sprayer last August and only used a few times last autumn without any problems. I have just used it for the first time this spring and the sprayer will not hold any pressure. I would appreciate any help from other users or from Spear and Jackson the maker.
Bought this to use with Wet and Forget, easy to use but it does dribble a little bit where you press the trigger. Apart from that it dispenses a good spray and I like the strap feature
Gives a reasonable spray coverage. Handle locks in for easier carrying if you don’t want to use the strap. Quickly reaches full pressure even when nearly empty.
I am sure this sprayer would work very well in the garden but I purchased it for and use it for spraying the dog down after a muddy walk and it is perfect for that. I’m happy…..not sure the dog is!
I liked that the measurements were clear on the side and easy to assemble but I think it could have had a better Handle to move it around as I was cleaning my patio
As it was full of fluid (5Litres) I didn’t trust the strap considering the cleaner I was using was dangerous.
I purchased this spray to kill off ivy which was invading my garden and shed. The main reason for this particular spray is that it has a wand which I needed to access areas where the space was too restricted for me to enter and another bonus is that it has a large reservoir so you cover a large area before refilling.
This is an excellent pressure sprayer. I’ve had it for nearly a year, and it has cut the time spent spraying my roses from 2 hours to 20 minutes. It is very easy to use, and has a good shoulder strap and a pressure release valve. The spray has a lock so you can lock the spray on, which is a plus, and dispenses a good, adjustable spray when fully primed. I use it carefully because I feel some of the plastic parts may be vulnerable, but overall it is a good quality item and has served me very well and still going strong. I’m very glad I bought it.

Bought 2 of these – just in case. Have used the first from plant and pest spraying, Neem Oil and an intensive Creocote spraying. Easy to use and carry, no leakage and no hassle – excellent quailty
Out of the box and using within 5 minutes. Great product. We used it to apply algae cleaner and it was done in no time. Great having a shoulder strap too. At 5 litres wasn’t too heavy either.
very easy to attach the hose push in and tighten nothing else to do now just fill it with what ever you intend to use it for. I have another sprayer that is old and tired, so I thought as it a new season gardening lets start of with a new sprayer. Really pleased with the sprayer you can pop it on you shoulder and carry it around. It recommends not to over pump and recommends 25 pumps. sprays really well. I am pleased with it I would recommend it.
Tried this product after delivery today and I was highly impressed. I filled the container of water to the maximum line and having primed the container on two occasions it emptied the contents with no further priming needed. I purchased this item to aid watering of greenhouse products and this will do this with ease.
Works great, pressure lasts for ages.
Wish the nozzle was longer, I ended up bending over to spray weeds, hurting my back.
I’ve twisted the nozzle into a jet rather than a spray, so I hope next time I can shoot from afar…
Being a hen keeper I brought this spray bottle to use during the current Avian Influenza outbreak. So far it is doing what I need in spraying our footware and paving with DEFRA approved disinfectant before we enter our hens enclosure.
This is a great spray tank with long pipe and gun you can put it over your shoulder to carry the funny thing is I had forgot I had one in the shed never mind I can use both of them together when watering the vegetables

Had one of these in the past but snapped the handle always found it reliable, i use it for spraying a/c conditioning coils can adjust the stream of flow of diluted chemicals from the nozzle on lance. Nice purchase.
hubby had one of these but it stopped working so was looking for a new one and this one was reasonably priced and a good brand, hubby likes that it has a shoulder strap and so far is pleased with it.

Bought this to spray a mould preventer (wet and forget) onto rendering covered walls, did the job perfectly as expected of Spear and Jackson, have some of their garden tools too and would recommend without a doub
I used this for spraying a cleaning solution on my patio and it was excellent for this. Easy to assemble and easy to use and seemed robust enough for the job. The pump handle is plastic (some reviewers had found it fragile) but it seemed to work just fine for me. I chose this as opposed to a brandless version available locally for a lower price although I suspect either would have done the job., although based on my use I’d recommend this product.
It’s a basic spray is good for spaying cayenne and soap water mix on plant’s to keep squirrels at bay you don’t get it on your hands so no sore eyes by accidental rubs
Love it. Defiantly does the job, I added grains of solution for box worms that keep eating my plants. This allowed me to mix a good quantity that covered all the plants. The nozzle is long and allows you to get deep into bushes. Although it has a handle you don’t need to carry it as it sits perfectly well on the floor. Excellent pressure pump down a few times and choose how you would like your liquid sprayed using the nozzle control.
Bought this spray pumper based on the name. Spear & Jackson long been associated with quality garden products. Wasn’t disappointed. Wanted a slow, even delivery pump to spray some expensive liquid seal on a new stone driveway. Fantastic result! Easy to use and control. Will find many uses for this in the garden next year.
Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Well made and reliable. And very reasonably priced. Up to the usual Spear and Jackson quality.

Had one of these for the garden and 2 years later still works great. Then i wanted something to clean our dog and boots after a walk before getting back in the car. We saw the mud daddy which was 40! not prepared to pay that, i ordered one of these and a brush to connect to it. Connected it all up, cost half the price of the mud daddy and works without any issues at all.
Product easy to use; to spray the driveway – was quick and easy.
Annoyed that pick up store attendant didn’t know how to release the product; had to call his Supervisor meant had to wait several minutes
I bought this to blast Aphids off of plants on my allotment. We cant use hoses on the plot so having this sprayer is a great alternative.
It’s easy to use and only take a few seconds to set up. The volume was perfect for what I needed and when fully filled I haven’t found it too heavy or cumbersome.
I’ve been using it for a couple of months and haven’t had any issues yet so I’d recommend it.
I have waited to comment on this, because I have sprayers before, and they went in the rubbish bin after a few months. This sprayer is in a class of its own compared to the others I have had. I like the easy jet/spray adjustment, and the pump seems very robust to me. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the handle, which is a little flimsy. I notice one reviewer complained the handle had snapped. Well I can see that happening if you are rough with it, but if you are just reasonably gentle, this should last for a long time.
I bought this due to having a large garden and the bottom half overgrown with weeds/foliage, predominately because I was sick of using the trigger on weed killer bottles (tiresome and sometimes painful).
Does the job perfectly, even distribution and the nozzle works surprisingly well. Would definitely recommend.
