Optimal flavour development
The flat lid developed by STAUB has a special moisture-retaining interior, ensuring continuous and natural basting of food as it cooks. Condensed moisture simply collects on the sides of curved lids, with STAUB’s flat lid, it drips down for even distribution. The effect is enhanced by placing ice cubes on the lid.
Energy-saving cooking
The cast iron ensures optimum heat distribution and makes the cocotte an energy-efficient cookware option. First, heat the cookware for 5 minutes at one-third of the total power of your hob. Then you can use full power and heat the roaster up to 250°C. Thanks to the particularly long and even temperature retention, hot food stays hot for a long time even on the table, while cold food remains optimally cool.
High-quality enamelling
The interior of the cast-iron cocotte is coated with a matt black enamel which features a rough structure. This creates a perfect sear on your food and enhances the flavour of the fresh ingredients. With each use, fats season the roughened structure which, in combination with heat and steam, create excellent non-stick properties over time. Over time, the natural patina that develops allows you to sear and fry with only a little fat – plus, clean-up is a breeze.

All STAUB products are made in France with traditional craftsmanship. Individual sand moulds give each product its unique shape. Through handiwork and with love for detail, the cookware acquires its unique appearance, functionality and excellent quality.

Premetto che non sono un cuoco professionista,ma un semplice appassionato. Da qualche parte ho letto che “la pentola il primo ingrediente”,e visto che mi sono appassionato seriamente alla cucina,ho rivoluzionato tutto il pentolame. Questa cocotte l’apoteosi della qualit,il prezzo importante quindi valutate bene le dimensioni adatte al vistro nucleo famigliare. Come accennato,la sensazione di qualit visiva e tattile puro godimento,la cosa si trasferisce poi nell’utilizzo Mi sento di consigliarla senza riserve,spendete una volta sola ed il prodotto per sempre.

Auswaschen mit lauwarmen Wasser, Lufttrocknen, mit einen Tropfen l einschmieren und fertig zum nchsten Gebrauch!!
Achten auf langsamen Temperaturanstieg und strkere Temperatur Schwankungen vermeiden ganz wichtig
Ich werde mich mit weiteren Tpfen eindecken, definitiv ist da jeder Euro Wert!

Ich wollte schon immer einen Gusseisenern. Nicht gnstig, aber sein Geld wert. Er wiegt halt mehr als ein Edelstahltopf und frs Nudelkochen sollte man auch weiterhin Edelstahl verwenden. Fr “lngere” Gerichte wie Gulasch und Co. eine wunderbare Ergnzung.

Der Noppendeckel macht Sinn, da Geschmack nicht verdampft sondern in das Gargut zurckgefhrt wird.
