Well made reliable produc
Very well made product as you’d expect from thermos. Keeps my food piping hot for about 6 hours. After that struggles to maintain the temperature. Not as big as I thought it would be but a note to myself to read the description better as the size is noted in it. Ideal for what I need and small enough to carry.
Fabulous!
This was for my fussy eater boy who only likes hot food and hates school dinners. Keeps food hot for hours and holds a good portion size. I mainly use it for soups, stews and pasta and it’s not disappointed once. The integrated spoon is great and keeps everything together in a neat little package. Top quality. Only little niggle is neatly getting the food in the top but this is probably not helped by my rushing to get it done each morning.

Bought for my daughter taking soup to school for lunch. Fits in a whole 400ml tin of soup no problem. Daughter says it’s still hot at lunch time (made up at 8am) and eaten around 12noon. Like the spoon included and it having a space integrated into flask (it fits inside the top so daughter don’t have to take a separate spoon or risk losing spoon). I had worried how easy it would be to clean, but it’s very easy . Would recommend. My daughter wants me to put pasta meal in it next.

Used now for four months for work lunches, 2/3 times a week. After pre-warming, keeps soup hot from about 6-6.30 until i eat it just after noon, and would probably keep it warm enough longer. The capacity is enough for lunch for one, or perhaps two with a roll to share.
Contains space its folding spoon, so once the soup is readied and the lids are on, lunch is self contained in a reasonable small size, reducing clutter in my bags and on my desk.
This + home made soup = 5-6 lunches for only 1 or 2, so the flask has paid for itself many times over.
All metal exterior, I have one small dink in mine now, but performance has not been affected.
Overall impression is high quality, with a nice solid shiny external finish, and metal interior.
Only certain type of Foods are kept Warm - Beware before buying.
Keeps only certain kinds of food warm. Any type of food that is closely packed such as rice, pasta, soup, sauces or mixed dishes such as rice with sauce or pasta with cheese sauce etc. Does not keep many other typical food that we take like bacon, egg, nuggets, sausage, pastry, grilled meat, grilled vegetables etc.
So, if you want to have a warm meal you have to take food that the food flask will keep warm. Not the one you want to take. You have to decide if this is worth buying.

I love this, especially in these cold mornings, keeps lunch warm from 7.30am until 2.30pm when I have my lunch. Not HOT but certainly warm enough to enjoy the soup, you don’t want it too hot to burn you anyway. I also love the colour, not too girly either so hubby can use it if desired.

Use this great thermos to take homemade soup to work five/six days a week. Keeps soup really hot and just the right volume, 450ml equals medium size bowl of soup, folding spoon in the cap makes this a great all-in-one meal provider. Will definitely buy this product again as present for friends and family alike.

Jammed Lid
Such a shame the lid got jammed which seems to be a fairly common problem in the online community. Unfortunately not your usual locked lid locked scenario which can be released with hot water / oil / rubber band. We tried resolving this with Thermos customer service but they have completely ignored our email for 5 days.
Edit: Customer service rep Sara sent a replacement product. Glad it was sorted out after 2 weeks as the product is perfect for winter months.
Initially I thought it was rubbish as the food was stone cold after just 3 hours. It was only then I read the one star reviews and saw a few customers had the same feedback. I had just about written it off, but thought I’d try a different approach. So this time I heated the food on the hob, instead of the microwave, scalded the flask before I filled it and it worked a treat!! Food was perfect temp 4 hours later, happy days. I haven’t tried it any longer than that as don’t need to. I never leave reviews but thought this brilliant wee flask deserved one, it’s brill ;D!!!
Doesn't keep contents hot for long
We decided to purchase a Thermos product as it is a well known quality brand, my husband wanted this for work to hold soup etc hot in the colder months. However after the first use he noticed come lunchtime the food was luke warm. So not good value for money at just under 20

Its a bit more expensive than some food thermos flasks but i was lucky enough to get this one a bit cheaper, because it was red? Wouldcstill be worth the full price though.

Good for a soup when at work. Only bad point is the spoon is almost flat when it is unfolded. Which , surprisingly, makes it harder to both eat with and to scoop out. Otherwise still nice product. Just make a good spoon please thermos
Amazing, piping hot 6 hours +
Amazing, fits a whole tin of heinz big soup in and 6 hours later still piping hot. I reckon it would still be hot later than that. Great for me as I work on site and no where to heat food. Cannot fault this item at all.
Fulfills expectations
Performs as advertised, although admittedly not as good as it’s “cousins” designed for hot drinks, probably due to the larger opening. Collapsible spoon very sturdy, which was quite a pleasant surprise. Very easy to clean and looks good, too.
A Decent Food Flask
Good, durable product that is easy to clean. It loses a star because I found it didn’t keep my food warm for very long even though I filled my flask with boiling water beforehand, I maybe got about 5 hours before my food was more tepid than warm. This is fine for most people but as my shifts work, I don’t always get lunch at a set time so sometimes it was annoying. Other than that I can’t complain!

Having been stranded overnight in my car one winter, after the A14 in Cambridgeshire was completely blocked by heavy goods vehicles which had “jack knifed” on ice and snow, I have never left home without hot food and drinks, together with warm clothing and a car rug. Thermos flasks and food containers form an essential part of my emergency supplies.
They also offer the means of a cooling, refreshing picnic stop in the summer.
Thermos is a premium brand and this is a premium product. However one thing I have noticed that the nine year old boy user of this product does order a varied selection of food he can take into school. Because he is in a hurry to play football sometimes he does not eat everything in the thermos, as a result there are remnants at the end of the day. When I questioned him about this he said “Im not good at digging down to the bottom” perhaps Thermos might take this on board and design a shorer design for school kits meals, a moulded divider also would be useful to keep the Katsu curry source from soaking the chicken and rice on the way to school lunch. Does the job!
Tried an alternative brand and it kept soup lukewarm (barely) so figured I would give Thermos a go.
This one is doing the job nicely, soup still piping hot after 5 hours. Good size, fits a single person serving of soup. Only complaint is that I’ve had to remove the spoon from the lid as it kept popping off and going for a walk!
Breakfast made easy
I never feel like eating breakfast when I get up in the morning, but by the time I get to the office I’m starving. This solves that problem: some hot milk and some porridge oats mixed together before I leave the house, and by the time I get to work it’s ready to eat, still lovely and hot. The spoon folds away very neatly.

Keeps food ho
After trying lots of flasks that did not keep the food warm I tried this one. It’s brilliant. My soul after being heated with breakfast is usually too hot at lunchtime. Also used for pasta, rice, chilli etc. Doesn’t keep them quite as hit but still got enough to eat at lunchtime and the opening is wide enough to be comfortable to eat out of. Also love the flexible spoon, easy to eat with, easy to clean and fits well in the lid. Only issue I have is trying to open the tub at lunch, the vacuum is so tight that I struggle to open it. Would be better with an air release button. Other than that, I recommend it.

Great flask , soups coffee etc keep perfectly for 6 plus hours. I always warm flask with boiling water befor filling so contents don’t cool on contact with cold metal. The flask is very good at keeping food like curry’s stews etc hot for at least 6 hrs. Always try to fill flask to top for best results. This size hold plenty for 1 generous meal . Folding spoon seems strong and neatly stored. Easy to clean and use. Great product.

Thermos lives up to its name and promise. It indeed could keep your food warm for about 9 hours. It also has a foldable spoon which perfectly fits in a compartment on its lid. This is very commendable for its durability and the quality of the stainless steel.
Even my friends and colleagues gave compliments on how good this food flask was and even asked where this can be bought.
Make sure to follow the instruction on how to properly wash and take care of this product if you want your food flask to always look like new.

1. It is hard to clean inside if you have big hands 🙂
2. Be careful in closing the lid too tight. One of our food flasks get almost distorted/loose thread because we closed it so tight and we can’t open it.
Cheaper than buying coffee everyday
Great thermos. The perfect size to bring my coffee in everyday. I’ve had this one for over a year now and it is still looking great. Had to buy another for my partner who was jealous of it. I would recommend this and would buy it again.

Heat it with boiling water for about five to ten minutes with lid on whilst I really heat through my food. I’ve had thin and thick soups and COus cous in it, soup hot, cous cous warm bit soup was filled to too cous cous wasn’t so I was expecting it not to retain heat the same. I fill it at 8:30 and lunch about 13:30 so very pleased and would buy again.

Absolutely everything....
It is hard to get too excited about a thermos but I work on a market stall at Christmas and this has saved my life!! The design is smart with the spoon integrated into the lid. It kept my chilli, my casserole, my soup and my porridge warm. It could do with being a little bigger but perhaps it is helping me exercise some portion control….!! Everything you could want really.

This is the best product I’ve bought for ages. I bought it as my kids needed hot food at lunchtime at school. Sandwiches weren’t been eaten. Hey presto as soon as I bought this, all food was eaten, which meant less grumpy tired children at the end of the day. I bought one initially then I bought another one as the other child requested one as well. I’ve so far used it for pasta and sauce, chilli with rice, soup, meatballs. Keeps it hot and still steaming when it comes out. Has resolved the packed lunch issue and children not eating anything.
I am so pleased with this product! It is nearly 3pm. I put my hot food in it at 7:30 this morning and it’s still hot. I couldn’t quite capture the steam from the photo but that was the idea.

I have several Thermos products already in red, so for me I was just hoping for the same quality. I Tested by filling it with piping hot soup at 930am and I ate it at 1630pm, at first the top spoonful was more than warm but not hot, by 3rd spoonful I burnt my mouth. So tip, when you do open stir if you can the contents.
Love the spoon, wide opening top and easy to clean. Going to buy one each for children now, highly recommended.
Bought this to save some money on lunches as the office complex my work is based in have very kindly decided to remove all microwaves from the communal kitchens (something to do with fire safety). So to save me having to go out every day and spend 3.50 on a Boots meal deal I bought this so I could heat up soup or leftover chilli etc. at home in the morning and pack in my bag for lunch.
The quality of the product is great – nice and shiny and all moving parts like lids etc. clip neatly and satisfyingly into place, nice and tight – no leaks or accidental spills. You can also choose from a variety of colours – I went for gun metal grey (because I’m hard), and it has a nice finish.
The claims thermos make about keeping food warm for X amount of hours should be true – I usually package my soup at 8AM and have it by 1PM, it’s as hot as when it came out of the microwave 5 hours later – haven’t tried it for longer.
So why 4 stars and not 5? Simply because of the size. Now I know that I was aware of the size when I bought it – 470ml. This will fit a tin of Heinz soup in, but if you want to go a bit more upmarket – Cully and Sully’s, or Covent Garden Soups – forget about it and buy a size up. I feel that this smallest size would have been a bit more useful if it was just that bit bigger – after all the next size up is 710ml which seems a bit on the large side, especially if you want to drink directly out of the flask like I do.
Very well made & keeps my food warm
I have purchased an identical item for myself some time ago and when my wife came asking which thermos she should get for her needs, I did not hesitate at all – just went and bought another one! Simply because these are just great and in my opinion the best there are!
It’s super easy to clean as surface is completely non-sticky. It keeps food warm very well – normally I microwave something for few minutes and stuff it right in, 7-8 hours later my meal is still warm. When it goes down to keeping stuff cold – even longer hours are complete a no-problem. Once I put some cold dish in and forgot about it for approx. 12 hours, opened the thermos later that day to find stuff in just as cold.
Overall, it does it’s job very well and I would certainly buy it again if I had a need.

Great, love this very practical, reasonably-priced flask which does for lots of things eg tea, coffee, soups, stews and for keeping stuff either hot of cold. Very useful, especially with the little spoon and wide cup, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s really cute looking too 🙂

Absolutely love my food flask!
Keeps my food hot whilst I’m at work. I get up at 7:45am and sort my flask out & then I eat it at 12/1pm dinner time and my food is still hot. This is brilliant especially now the cold days/nights are coming in.
Before I put the food in the flask I fill up with boiling hot kettle water, I leave the water in for either 5 minutes or 15 minutes depending on how long I have on a morning. I also microwave the food before putting into the flask.
I have had no problems with it at all, I am a very happy customer!

Best flask by a wide mile. I have this food one and a matching taller one for my coffee. They keep things hot for many hours, and they surprise me every day how good they are. This range of flasks are incredible and now the winter is looming in I will be using them every day. Thank you.
I’ve been using this thermos for about a month now and I really love it. Our office doesn’t have microwaves so our only options in the winter months are salad or the questionable canteen. As like the other reviews, this really does keep it hot for hours and hours. You do have to make sure it is piping hot when it goes in – maybe heat for 30 secs more than you usually would but if definitely pays off.
Only downside for me is that the neck is quite small so it is a little bit difficult to eat straight out of the flask and the cup on the top is too small to transfer into (unless you do 2/3 servings).
Definitely 5 stars from me though

I purchased a cheaper flask from another brand (Pioneer) and that didn’t last long. This Thermos flask is easy to open, easy to clean, and most of all, does the job of keeping the food warm for over 6 hours. I usually microwave my food for 4 minutes, then put it in the flask. I would eat my lunch 6-7 hours later and it’s still piping hot! I am very satisfied with it.

This product is great and it meets all the needs I wanted. It keeps soups warm for hours and it is relatively easy to clean because of shape of the mouth. The only thing I would say is that being left handed, when I use the spoon, it often collapses a bit because of the angle that it comes out at. If I used my right hand, because of the way it twists, it would not collapse. This makes using the collapsable spoon a bit annoying sometimes, but nothing too major. I would really recommend this thermos.

I bought this for taking hot food to work, its quite small looking but holds a good amount of food. It really does keep your food hot all day, after 5 hours I had to leave the lid on as soup was too hot to eat straight away, very handy little flask.

First tried today, put in the contents of a heated, full tin (400g) of chunky soup, and added extra veg, which filled it to its capacity.
From other reviews, when they said keeps food ‘warm’, I was slightly concerned because I like my food hot to eat and not just warm, so was worried what the temperature may be after so many hours. I put my chunky soup in, piping hot at around 6.45am and ate at 1.15pm, I can happily confirm that it contains the majority of the heat.
If I had any criticism it’s would be to make the size of it bigger for those with larger appetites, but holding a full tin of soup is great for me.
It may seem a lot to pay but this is something that I will use most days and is more for convenience because I don’t want to have to heat my food up at work.

Had it for a day and already used it. My husband took some hot soup to work and said he loves it. It kept the soup hot, the spoon is strong with a good size and there were no leaks. It also looks quite nice and sleek.
All in all o recommend this to any one that wants to take soups with them. I haven’t had it for long so I can’t speka too much on its durability. What I can say is that it seems very durable and being someone that has other items from the brand I have no concerns.

Bought for my sandwich-hating, alphabetti-spaghetti loving son for summer picnics. It takes a standard tin of spaghetti (or soup or beans) and after prewarming the flask with hot water kept it piping hot from breakfast to lunch. The fold up spoon works well for eating straight from flask. The red finish on the outside scuffed fairly fast but hasn’t affected function.

Bought 2 years ago and this is how it looks today, the paint has held up greatly considering I throw it in my bag with my keys whenever I use it. I just ate Bolognese I heated up at 7:40am, it’s 3:30pm and still steaming!!
I use mine for soups, chilli, Bolognese, rice, pasta, noodles, I even put freshly cooked sausages into it to make a breakfast bap at work! (The sausages only kept warm for 2 hours, but we’re still piping hot when I wanted to eat them)
It fits any normal tinned food which is very convenient, a helpful tip is to preheat with boiling water to help your hot food stay warmer for longer.
The folding spoon is very convenient, would be difficult to use if you’re left handed but otherwise flawless. Still stiff and holds its shape after 2 years of use.
Haven’t tried it with cold foods yet but I’m confident it would be perfect for salads, fruits, smoothies, oats and more!
I’d highly recommend this for students, school lunches, work and travel. It’s dinky size is still enough to fit plenty of filling food, definitely a meals worth!
Keeps everything hot for a long time
hat’s really one of the best thermo products i’ve ever bought. I heat up my soup around 6.30am and eat it around 12pm. It’s still hot!! (You just have to make sure you put it in hot and not just luke warm). It’s small but not too small to starve afterwards, handy to bring everywhere, sturdy and looks nice and shiny!

This is fantastic product, great size for work lunches, soups, salads etc and will keep to the correct temperature. In the colder months soup put in at 7am and still hot at 12pm when ready to eat. Pricey than others but definitely worth the price as cheaper ones won’t keep the heat which I ‘ve tried.

Use it for keeping baby food warm. We Only half fill with baby food but provided you heat the whole inner first with boiling water it will keep the baby food warm for hours. Love the wide neck as I can also carry boiling water to stand pre made milk bottle in it to heat up.

Great little flask for keeping food ho
I love these. They keep food really warm for hours. I can heat soup in the morning, pour it in and it’s still really hot late afternoon. The wide neck means I can eat straight from the flask and the supplied spoon means I can take it anywhere. Brilliant for camping.

Best kitchen/lunch item I have ever bought. I use this item for all kinds of things. From taking soup to work to making packet rices whilst on the go hiking. I have certainly had my 20 worth already! The flask itself is so easy to clean and very durable, despite a couple of surface/aesthetic dints it works great. Perfect for th rough and tumble on the go, great for children too.
My favourite thing about the flask is that it really keeps my food piping hot or cold for hours on end. I can pour hot soup into my flask at 6am and rest assured it will be still hot when I eat it at 2pm. (I always heat my flask with boiling water before using, to sterilise and keep heat in).
The built in spoon comes in really handy and the lid can also be used as a cup or bowl for serving.I would recommend and I am planning on buying more items from the range.
Great size thermos, I use it to take soup or stew to work. Perfect size and I love the spoon which folds inside the lid. You can eat right out of the thermos as the neck is wide enough. I use boiled water to heat it in the early am then put the heated food in and it stays hot to lunchtime easily.

Having done this the soups that I use it for are still as hot as they were leaving the saucepan up to 6 hours after I put them in. I use this for my lunch so haven’t tested it for any longer periods.

Brilliant- food piping hot still 5 hours later, better than the thermocafe flask. Spoon great too. Only thing ro note is thag tte colour does come off the outside very easily. My kids use this at secondary, so it does get a good battering. Doesnt affect contents though. Love it- the kids take soup, pasta n sauce, mac cheese, baked potato cheese n beans, curry and rice, casserole, they love the flask!

This thermos is just great. I bought it for my son as I wanted him to have something warm to eat atunch time. I have this for nearly two years now and it did not disappointed me even once. My son says that soup its still hot whenever he opens at lunch time. And it’s a right size too even for me. Thinking of getting another one.

I love this flask. I filled it with hot soup in the morning and it was still way too hot too eat at lunchtime. Feels sturdy and the colour is nice and vibrant. The little spoon works well and is very handy as it folds up.
This is an amazing little flask and I held off doing a review until I had had it a while and my experience with other flasks are that they work well for a while, but then are unable to retain the heat.
Now three months on, I use this little fella every day for my soup, I heat the flask first with boiling water then pour in my hot soup. The soup is piping hot at lunchtime and even when I go to wash out the flask at night, any residue liquid is still warm.

Only used for porridge so far but was still lovely & hot when I tried it after 2 hours. The only drawback is the spoon, as a left hander the spoon folds up on itself as you’re eating.
Keeps food warm for lunch (I haven’t tried any longer but that’s about six hours) and importantly is easy to clean with no awkward to reach bits. Foldable spoon is a decent size so I haven’t needed to use extra cutlery.
Perfect , holds high temperature for 9-11 hr. It depends what you put in, if its only veg it will be warm but not hot. If the pot is full and has potatoes and beef this will defo holds the heat for 10 hr, once opened its like from the hob. Very good , I could not leave without it.

Hot food made at 7am, daughter happy as it keeps lovely and warm until 12.40pm. We do put boiled hot water in the flask whilst prepping the lunch to ensure the hot food is going into an already warmed metal flask, otherwise you’d lose at least some of the heat instantly. We are avoiding meals with strong aromas such as curry and Thai so that it doesn’t make the flask smell permanently. Pasta’s, noodles and soups are great.
Stores a lot more than expected! Keeps soup warm for ages. The longest I’ve unintentionally had it stay warm for is about 8 hours. Not tried it again but I recon it could do longer. Great product, very compact. The spoon is great and metal, everything is very easy to clean and reuse.
This tiny food flask is a tardis. I can fit almost a whole bag of microwave rice and a whole can of veg chilli in it at the same time (almost). When I opened the package I didn’t think it would fit a can of food in never mind a can and a pack of rice. It’s perfect for my needs.

Our very active sons need packed meals most days of the week and using these has transformed the variety I can give them – and they are especially grateful to have something hot. Soups, pastas, casseroles etc all stay perfectly heated for hours.
Love this. I bought it for the days i go to University. I heat my soup, chilli or Veggie sauce first and pour hot water to heat the thermos. Tip out the water add heated food at 7.30 or 8am and it it still hot at 12 or 1pm when i break for lunch after lectures. Brilliant. A real money saver on buying food.
Love this foid thermos. The colours lush and the spoon is one nifty invention. The foid was hot but not piping hot after 4 hours. Was still ok though hence 5 stars! Easy to wash up and so easy with its wide mouth. Will probably order another.
Who would have thought this would have been the thing that impressed their classmates?!? But when the kids turned up with hot Chilli one day and cheesy pasta the next for lunch, their friends in school took notice!
None of the problems mentioned in other reviews about paint cracking, seals breaking, or flasks exploding (?!?!??) and these are really solid little flasks. Would definitely recommend

Useful to carry your hot food (particularly soups) to work for lunch. It’s easy to pour the soup in it and you can have it directly from the flask -no need for extra bowls/plates-. The spoon comes in handy. I pack my lunch at 7.30 and the content is piping hot at 1pm.

I even noticed last week that the soup my daughter had left was still warm when I was washing it out after school. Well worth the money as we have tried others but nothing keeps the heat like these do. They fit a lot in them too.

Bought as a going-to-Uni present for my granddaughter; having one myself, I thought she’d find this really useful – great for taking hot beans or soup out and about, or for keeping stuff cold…I’ve used mine for milk, when on a picnic, for instance. Pretty much unbreakable and the folding spoon, which fits into the screw cap, is ingenious and a great design.
Had this for 6 months now and it has kept my porridge nice and warm for me, and the spoon is great and saves finding one when I need it. After 6 months there has been some ware, and the colour paint has been coming off. I do put it through the dishwasher and it does get abuse in my bag. The spoon has also loosened a bit, so I am going to try another one and see how that goes.
This was so effective, I ended up buying 2. Keeps my food warm for most of the day, although if you do not fill the tins, it won’t retain heat as effectively.
Best flask I've used
I love this product. Used it for lunches when I would not have access to a fridge or microwave, easy to carry round as it fits into most bags and doesn’t leak! Not one drop as long as the lid is on correctly. It comes with a spoon as well ideal if you’ve used it for soup or chilli and it keeps the food hot for quite a while. I’d happily say with certainty my food was kept hot for at least 5 hours.
Loved it so much that my partner brought one and has been taking it with him for lunch too!
This doesn’t work as well as the thermocafe hammertone flask I have which was bigger and cheaper but for liquids. It’s still good but over priced I feel at 18. Food is warmish most often. I love the spoon though lol
