Two differential brake pedals for optimized flying

These rudder pedals were purchased to replace faulty ones, which I didn’t like, but endured to the end. So, their demise was a pleasant reason for the change. Having proved Thrustmaster to be the producer of an excellent Joystick, I trusted them to do the same for these Rudder Pedals. I was not disappointed.
The rudder peddals work very well when used in DCS. Good quality and smooth movements in them. Could be better quality construction, however they are of good quality construction, especially for the price.

These are one of the least expensive set of pedals you can get, but far from the worst. They are almost completely made out of plastic as you might expect but they are more robust than they initially appear. As long as you don’t use them while wearing walking boots they should be fine.
The Pros: Good value for money compared to others on the market. They have toe brakes and the pedals slide smoothly. They worked straight out of the box I just plugged them in and calibrate them in the game itself with no need to download and install drivers (I use Windows 10 and the game was X-Plane 11).
The Cons: The cable from the pedals is quite short so your PC needs to be on, or next to, the desk/chair you are going to use them from. The two pedals are set quite close together and may be a little uncomfortable if you keep your feet on them all the time. There is no means of adjusting any of the tension in the pedals and may be a bit stiff for children under about 7 or so.
I am more than happy with this product and think if you want a pair of pedals for a flight simulator these are the ones you should go for, unless you want pay out 200+ .
Affordable good performance
The T.16000 sits nicely in the range between the T.Flight and Warthog. Two sticks make for precision manoeuvring and feels entirely natural in a space sim.
They’re well-made, comfortable and have magnetic sensors for *reliability. Base buttons feature concave or braille surfaces, useful for playing in VR. Orange lighting complements Elite Dangerous’s colour scheme.
Each stick can be made either left or right-handed so if you don’t get on with them you can always use one for another setup. (Two right hands anyone? xD)
Thrustmster’s TARGET software makes them immensely customizable and there are several downloadable presets for games like Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous (more would be welcome).
I’d prefer a bit more weight to the base but there are mounting holes underneath.
All in all good value for money considering the price of some sticks.
*After some time the z-axis (twist) of both sticks exhibited erratic behaviour. Apparently an ordinary potentiometer is used for this axis and is prone to causing trouble. (Shaving a little off the casing can fix it.)
Really good produc
It is a really good joystick for the price. I used it for X-Plane 11 and FSX and it works perfectly. At rest, no displacement was shown so it was perfectly calibrated. There are a decent amount of buttons as well on the left and right side. The throttle is really well made but however sometimes, it is really easy to move the throttle while holding the stick, but that is a user issue.
The only issue is that to switch between left hand right hand options requires me to unglue the RH flap and glue the LH one.

I bought this rudder pedal because the Logitech ones weren’t available when I bought my yoke and throttle set. I’ve used Thrustmaster steering wheel and pedals for Euro Truck Sim 2 for years and always found them solid and reliable and genuine value for money, and this set seems just as solid, if not more so.
Have only been using them for 24 hours but can’t find anything negative to say – I’d recommend them and they plug into the USB on the Logitech yoke or into your PC.
A note to the X-Plane 11 enthusiast. In my setup I had to reverse the toe brakes in the configuration as brakes were permanently on when disengaged and would only come off when pressed. I think I had to download a driver for X-Plane to enable them but the support is on the website.
Upgraded flight experience with them.
Very fast delivery and excellent packaging. After a few moments in setting up the pedals work as expected. The flying experience is upgraded with them, although I need some time to get familiar at using them correctly.

Die Verarbeitung ist super, es wirkt nicht billig oder windig, es ist halt aus Kunststoff. Die Pedale bleiben auch am Boden dort wo sie sollen. Man sollte sich nur berlegen fr seinen Brostuhl bremsen einzurichten, da ein zurckrollender Stuhl mehr als nervig ist.
Alles in Allem finde ich das Produkt sehr gelungen und spreche aus derzeitiger Sicht eine klare Kaufempfehlung aus.

Good weight. Doesn’t squirm around on the desk. Once you’ve set it up with the Oculus, it really brings Elite: Dangerous to life. Same with FSX. But the big thing is desk stability, doesn’t tip over with sudden movements. Loads of buttons. Bit too expensive, but joysticks have essentially disappeared, and finding a left-handed on for a dual stick setup proved less easy than I expected. I thought this was the best of the bunch, and so far, seems better than adequate.
I was bit dubious when it arrived because the ball at the base seemed damp when it arrived, but a quick google showed it was silicon lubricant.
The T-Flight Rudder Pedals are very nice, good solid construction and feel quite smooth in use, setup was quick and easy, works perfectly with X-Plane 11, DCS World and ArmA 3.

Ottimo prodotto. Ho avuto qualche difficolt iniziale, ma solo perch non avevo calibrato la sensibilit sul simulatore.
Ora vediamo se durer a lungo, io quando non lo uso lo avvolgo nella plastica per non far prendere polvere ai meccanismi.

Very Well constructed, robust and strong. Would work great with other thrustmaster products. Not really compactable with saitek gear. Can not get them to work with flight sim x and the pro flight stick…..

Has made aiming and coordinating turns much easier than with Thrustmasters twisting T.Flight Stick X. They have good sensitivity and a negligible dead zone and have not slipped or tipped up during breaking on our carpeted floor.

Bought this to compliment an HTC Vive vr headset for flying in Elite Dangerous and DCS World (Huey). Stick works beautifully. My only gripe was the throttle which juddered slightly and did not have a smooth back and forward motion. Annoying when you are trying to make minor flight adjustments. A quick search on the internet and found a perfect solution. Unscrewing the base, there are two rails that guide the throttle. These have light grease on which is not really adequate. I applied a light film of silicone grease to the rails, reassembled and now it glides back and forth seamlessly and smoothly. I don’t regret buying these for a moment.

Sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto. Un ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo nonostante sia interamente costruita in plastica. Utilizzabile plug and play senza problemi. I poggiapiedi sono rimovibili con una brugola fornita in dotazione.

Die Verarbeitung ist wie gewohnt sehr gut, obwohl ich mir weniger Plastik gewnscht htte. Habe vorher nicht besonders viel recherchiert und war daher etwas ernchtert. Aber: Es ist dennoch von ordentlicher Qualitt und keineswegs schlecht.
Die Kontrollfhigkeit ist wirklich super. Die Pedalen sind sehr leichtgngig und przise. Sowohl mit, als auch ohne Schuhen wunderbar zu bedienen. Ich habe relativ kleine Fe (Gre 42) und komme am besten klar, wenn ich die Fu-Sttzen am unteren Ende abschraube. Der Fuballen kann dann auf dem Boden aufliegen. Sicher Geschmacksache.
Einziger Makel am Produkt ist meiner Meinung nach, dass die Gummis, die die Pedalen an Ort und Stelle halten sollen, nicht ausreichend sind. Hier habe ich mit zustzlichen Stoppern den Widerstand erhht. Das verhindert dann ungewolltes Rutschen.
Wer also eine sehr gute Alternative zu den Saitek/Logitech-Plastikbombern sucht, ist mit diesen Pedalen gut beraten.

I’ve been looking to update my trusty hotas x because I needed more buttons I looked at so many different reviews of many hotas systems and this stood out compared to the rest ….. I did look at the thrustmaster warthog but price was a factor I could get all three stick,throttle,pedals for nearly half the price so I took the chance , and to say I’m well pleased is an understatement such a great product just plug and play with all the buttons I need I would highly recommend this for anyone serious about there flight or space sims this is a MUST!!!!!

Aprs un soucis avec le premier envoi (problme de configuration avec FSX) que j’ai tent de rsoudre avec la Hotline Thurstmaster (trs efficace et ractive).
Amazon a repris ces frais, remboursement en 48h, deuxime envoi par Amazon super rapide.
Plus aucun soucis de configuration.
Je m’en sert tout les jours depuis 6 mois aucun problme pas grippage des pdales, trs bonne sensibilit, j’ai retrouv le plaisir de piloter mes hlicos.

Ottimo prodotto, settaggi precisi, replica perfettamente il comportamento di una vera pedaliera di aeromobile, basta settare la sensibilita a livelli in medio bassi poich se di default piuttosto sensilbile .
Best hotas for the money
I bought this throttle and joystick combo primarily to play elite dangerous. The throttle is silky smooth in use and the joystick has just enough resistance without ever becoming hard work. If there are any improvements I would like to see, a half-way decent on the throttle would be the main one as that would allow me to use the full range of the throttle for both forward and reverse.
I have previously owned various hotas from the saitek/mad cats range including ones more expensive than this thrustmaster one. They have always left me disappointed; buttons stop working … recalibration needed before every gaming session amongst other issues. So far the thrustmaster has not shown any signs of components wearing out nor have I ever had to recalibrate it.
Reasonable value if it lasts.
Loads of buttons, hat switches and axis. Build quality is acceptable for the price. Throttle is very skippy and I would have thought it would have maybe have had a bit of lubricant added to prevent this. Worth it if you need the extra buttons and stuff but I think it is quite expensive for what it is. If it lasts a couple of years, I will view it as reasonable value.
Both the joystick and the throttle are great and have lots of buttons. The joystick allows for very smooth motions, but might need lubrication in the long run. The only drawback is that the joystick doesn’t have enough readily-accessible buttons. The base has lots of buttons, but you wouldn’t want to keep reaching for them and let go of the joystick in the middle of a dog fight. Probably a few more well-placed and easy to reach buttons would have made the joy stick a lot better.

Credo sul mercato non ci sia nulla di migliore come rapporto qualit/prezzo; la sua concorrente diretta, la Logitech-Saitek, costa quasi il doppio e, avendola posseduta, non offre nulla di pi. La quinta stella va ad Amazon, che ha sostituito a tempo di record il primo esemplare, risultato difettoso; addirittura ho ricevuto la sostituzione prima del reso.
Disponendo gi di un gruppo joystick-manetta della Thrustmaster (il top della produzione, l’Hotas Warthog), mi sono affidato a questo marchio per la pedaliera. Sembra semplice e pacchiano ma costruito bene rispetto ai vecchi thrustmaster finalmente hanno migliorato la qualit dei materiali e si attacca bene al pavimento non scivola e in pi ha possibilit di usare i 2 pedali come freni comodit unica. se vogliamo unica pecca che come supporto software per vari giochi non sempre trovi i settaggi precaricati nei giochi ( la fascia media da tante case non viene considerata) ed
un peccato invece logitech si ma ultimamente logitech non pi quella di una volta come qualit.
Cmq ottimo do solo 4 per il supporto software di certi giochi i settaggi precaricati non esistono peccato davvero, cmq a sto prezzo lo ricomprerei cmq volare con tutto il set un altra cosa.

Sembra semplice e pacchiano ma costruito bene rispetto ai vecchi thrustmaster finalmente hanno migliorato la qualit dei materiali e si attacca bene al pavimento non scivola e in pi ha possibilit di usare i 2 pedali come freni comodit unica. se vogliamo unica pecca che come supporto software per vari giochi non sempre trovi i settaggi precaricati nei giochi ( la fascia media da tante case non viene considerata) ed
un peccato invece logitech si ma ultimamente logitech non pi quella di una volta come qualit.
Cmq ottimo do solo 4 per il supporto software di certi giochi i settaggi precaricati non esistono peccato davvero, cmq a sto prezzo lo ricomprerei cmq volare con tutto il set un altra cosa.

You know what? It doesn’t matter. Modern aircraft use straight tracked throttles as well.
The software is a little over-the-top, as having the capability to script one button press to automatically fire the missiles, change targets, drop the bombs, switch back targets and thenshoot more missiles is a little silly and unnecessary. Also, it’s a pus** move!
Fantastic flight pedals, work perfectly with both of my sims, P3D V4 and Xplane 11. Plug straight in and Windows 10 recognises them and updates the drivers for you. You just need to configure them in whatever sim your using, and your good to go. Highly recommended for any flight sim person, especially if your wanting to keep cost down abit.
The Pedals are great for precise movement in whatever type of game you are looking to play, I use this mostly in ARMA 3 and Star Citizen, and I can tell you it will make flying more precise, safe and fun! My only 2 issues with it would be the distance you have to sit back, its brilliant at an extended leg distance but the closer you get to your sitting position the harder it is to press and slide the pedals accurately. The other issue being my pedals seem to “turn off” when I shutdown the PC so I have to plug them back in again for my PC to pick them up even after a driver install.
From someone who has been involved in flight simulation for over 15 years, this is my review of this product. All the reviews I have read, state that the pedals are too close together. This is in my experienced opinion rubbish. Let me please explain why. If you drive a manual car, the Brake pedal and clutch pedal are about 5.5 cm apart, and we all manage just fine. Using the clutch and brake at the same time is an important part of driving. These rudder pedals are not too close together at all, in fact the distance between them is perfect. It seems that when some reviewer states something, everybody jumps onto the band wagon and just follows the last review. So to conclude, the feel of these pedals is precise, and very smooth, the distance between them is fine. The value is outstanding. In my humble opinion do not listen to the negative reviews.

Awesome set of pedals to go with my Saitek pro flight yoke setup. If you’re currently using a joystick or autorudder for rudder controls, you need these. Using these adds so much more realism to flying; cannot recommend enough. Very sturdy build also. 100% satified.

Pretty tidy product. neatly packaged seems solid enough. heard they were narrow but they were wider that I was expecting. Definately more accurate than a twist grip joystick but I am completely having to learn how to fly again as I have used twist grip for years and had learned to make rudder adjustments subconsciously. Worked well in il2 Clod.
Damn good stuff, great value and fun to use. I am using this controller in X-Plane 11, it does the job with aplomb! Some users may take a little time to get used to the strong spring tension of the joy stick. There is no tendency for the joy stick to have a sticky action during movement. I have found that there is some tendency toward some stickiness with the throttle however, I did knock a drink over and into the works! There is a screw which allows the friction to be adjusted for throttle movement. The HOTAS is pretty rugged and the joy stick surprisingly heavy for it’s design. There is very little tendency for the HOTAS to side around the table.

Excellent throttle unit and good joystick. Setting up the software, which needs to be downloaded, was a bit of a fuss compared to most other sticks (like the Thrustmaster HOTAS X which is just plug’n’play). But there are plenty of adjustment options in the program, if you need to deal with any key conflicts, repeat speeds, etc that you may get in a particular game.
On the throttle, your index finger is on another analogue joystick. This can be used like a 4-way switch like the other HAT switches, or as a proportional joystick – excellent for vertical/sideways thrust controls in Elite Dangerous!
The main joystick has excellent sensitivity, but I miss having some more buttons on top to be controlled with my thumb.
The throttle unit can be bought separately and (they say) used along side any joystick. If you’ve thinking of buying just the throttle unit to go with, say the Thrustmaster HOTAS, it’s worth noting that the joystick in this set has much better stick movement sensitivity.

A decent throttle for the price. The action is smooth once moving but takes a little pressure to get moving which can cause it to “jump” about a centimeter or so. I opened it up and replaced the grease that was on the rails with some dry teflon lube which has made it much much smoother. A shame they couldnt apply a decent grease in the first place so thats why iv given it 4 stars.

Pedali per Simulatore
Sono divertenti da usare sia su PC che PS4 con i giochi compatibili e questa la nota dolente perch ho trovato solo “War Thunder” e la serie “Air Conflicts” che sono compatibili. Con la PS4 necessario collegare la pedaliera al Joystick T.Flight Hotas 4.

Ich habe seit einigen Jahren die Saitek Pedale, da sie sich aber nicht in die TARGET Programmierung meines Warthog Equipment einbinden lassen, habe ich mir die Thrustmaster Pedale gekauft. Ich war verunsichert, weil hier negative Bewertungen wegen fehlendem Nullpunkt und Enge der Pedale eingestellt sind.
Ich nutze die Pedale fr Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen und X-Plane 10.
Die Kritik kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Die Nullstellung ist deutlich (selbst mit Schuhen) und man kann ja auch die Nullzonen mit der Kalibriersoftware einfach einstellen. Zustzlich kann man in der TARGET Software alle Eigenschaften (Nullzonen, Kurven ect.) einfach programmieren. In X-Plane fliege ich meistens Hubschrauber und habe absolut keine Probleme mit feinfhliger Steuerung. Auch die engere Fustellung der Pedale strt nicht.
Den Vergleich mit den Saitek Pedalen muss die Thrustmaster nicht frchten. Sie ist in der Qualitt ebenbrtig. Die Mglichkeit die Bedienkraft der Ruddersteuerung einzustellen ist bei der Saitek vorhanden und fehlt bei der Thrustmaster. Mit Strmpfen ist die Saitek unangenehm an den Fen, so dass ich mir weichere Auflagen gebaut habe. Auerdem kann man bei der Saitek noch die Fulnge einstellen. Allerdings ist das bei mir kaputt gegangen (Qualitt?), so dass ich hier basteln musste, um die Saitek Pedale noch nutzen zu knnen.
Bedenkt man den Preisunterschied ist die Thrustmaster der bessere Kauf.
Insgesamt sind die Thrustmaster Pedale sehr gute Pedale mit tollen Programmiermglichkeiten und einwandfreier Qualitt – zu kleinem Preis.

Sehr przise nutzbar, 3 Achsen linke und rechte Bremse und Ruderpedale laufen sehr sauber und liessen sich ohne Probleme Installieren, nutze diese fr DCS und Elite, gute verarbeitung
Another fantastic product in the budget price range from thrustmaster. The buttons are mostly solid with exception of 3 rubber dome buttons that are a let down but acceptable. The analouge joystick proves to be a reliable input method particularly in space sims however I must complain about its placement. I would much rather prefer if the ministick was placed on the thumb a bit like CH pro throttle (which I own). Furthermore the dial has a lot of resistance which was uncomfortable to use with pinkie but hopefully it is moddable and already after use I see the resistance settling down. As for the precision of the axis; it is incredible, thrustmaster doesn’t compromise when it comes to quality electronics and I believe the z axis has 15 bit resolution (that is 32768 data points). All the other axis are 10 bit which is more than enough. The T.A.R.G.E.T software is very sophisticated and although a little unintuitive at first it can be very powerful in the hands of someone willing to write their own code. One cool possibility is to use the ministick as a hat switch if the game doesn’t support analouge values yet you need extra buttons.

The pedals are very well lubricated, making them slide easily with precise brake movements. The only thing that makes this 4 star instead of 5 is how close the pedals are together. They’re about 2.5 inches apart which can be quite uncomfortable and unrealistic compared to real airplanes. Overall extremely good for the price and also doubles as pedals for a driving game.

Working fine, easy to install. Sliding mechanism is smooth and free running. Brake pedals also feel smooth. I am using this alongside Saitek Flight Yoke, Throttle and trim wheel with no problems.

Visuellement joli, les pieds sont trs rapprochs (comme dans certains vrais hlico) J’avais l’habitude d’un Saitek (ou les pieds sont plus carts) mais un petit cble c’est coup la semaine dernire au bout de 10 mois d’utilisation, je suis un peu du d’ailleurs ! Le Thrumaster est plus souple au niveau le ressort de rappel (beaucoup trop dur dans le Saitec, mme au rglage le plus souple, j’avais fini par l’enlever) Trs facile installer, bonne prcision, bon dbattement, trs bon rapport qualit / prix, 4 toiles parce que le plastique de la base de chaque cts des pdales n’a pas l’air trs costaud. Maintenant il faut voir l’usage…

I have experinced NO configuration
problems with X-Plane 10.
First complaint is that the seller is selling the product at 10 above the recommended MSRP, but as my Saitek Pro Rudder pedals had just didn’t want to wait as the Amazon site didn’t list an expected delivery date for rudder pedals at the standard MSRP.
However as an initial review after a few hours use I can find little to complain about the pedals themselves.
The pedals have an RSJ 12 Connector for connecting directly to the Thrustmaster T HOTAS 4 along with an RSJ 12 to USB adapter to enable you to connect directly to PC via USB should you want to mix and match to a HOTAS system of your choice.
I am currently using this with a 3 year old Saitek X52 Pro HOTAS with no problems in Elite Dangerous.
First thing to say is that this is the third set of rudder pedals that I have owned. I initially started with a set of Simped rudder pedals which while robust, were too wide for my liking. This was follows with the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals which lasted me for 3 and a half years until one of the toe break spring mountings gave way with no warning.
Initial impressions of the Thrustmaster pedals are very favorable. Whereas both the Simped and the Saitek pedals needed to be secured somewhat to the floor with the latter secured through Velcro strips on my carpet, the Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals are stable enough on carpet due to the lack of resistance on the pedal sliders with no need for worry about finding a way to secure them further.
The individual pedals each ride on a pair of aluminium rails. Thrustmaster have named the system S.M.A.R.T, Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Tracks. There is just enough resistance for you to gauge the pedal position, without having to worry about the pedals moving on the floor. Furthermore as I use an office chair on castor, I had no issues with the chair itself moving involuntary due to the pedal resistance, a problem I found with both of my previous pedals.
In game, I found them to be accurate and easy to use, with the only problem being that due to the lack of resistance that it was easy to find a little bit of right rudder being applied inadvertently. However I was able to adapt to this and learn to relax my feet in to the center detente on the pedals. It is possible that I could adapt the centre dead-zone with the Thrustmaster TARGET software downloaded from their website, but my initial experience of the software is that it feels very unintuitive to use.
In general though, I have to say this is the best set of rudder pedals that I have used, and even at the 90 pounds that I paid, the cheapest. Certainly from initial impressions, these are the best pedals that I have ever owned, with the feel being just right out of the box.
The pedals also incorporate a toe-break function pivoting through the center of each foot when resting on the whole pedal. I have not been able to test this much at the time of writing, but again I find that the motion is very smooth and fluid with little resistance, without the fear of activating it unbidden. I hope to update this review at a later point after tesing it both on Elite Dangerous on the planetary vehicle, and on Flight Simulator X on Steam.
One thing to finish on is that although the Thrustmaster Pedals come with attached heel rests, there are removable (through a supplied allen key) for any budding pilots who prefer to fly resting their heels on the floor (like real pilots). However while using the pedals using my shoes, the heel-rests never felt uncomfortable to use in this position.

I bought this to use with my Thrusmaster Warthog Hotas Stick and Throttle and the DCS World Flight Sim.
These are excellent great feel and accurate, very smooth motion.and travel with good quality feel to the unit.
Flying with these make It quite simple to control swing on takeoff even without rudder trim dialed in on the P-51 and also makes it natural to sideslip and use crosswind crab and wing down techniques during approaches.
Cons: bit too easy to find that your inadvertently applying rudder a stronger center intent feel would maybe help feel the natural center while you are busy, typically during landing and pattern work but in a short amount of time you soon get used to it.
