Nice and compact microwave, does its job, the only issue I could point out that it’s impossible to switch off the sound at the end of the cooking time – but probably I’ didn’t look well enough. The instructions manual is short and mostly pictures
Great simple microwave
I bought this a few weeks ago, I use it a couple of time a day, and so far I’m very pleased with it.
I only use a microwave for two purposes – to heat up leftovers for me and to defrost meat for my dogs – and this one does those jobs perfectly.
It just has two dials – one to set the heating/power level and one to set the timer and once you work out the combination you need for the job you want it to do, it’s extremely easy to use.
This microwave is great for anyone who doesn’t want or need loads of different settings and functions they never use, which just makes the microwave unnecessarily complicated, when they just want to do basic things like heat food or drink up or defrost something
It’s not as big as my old one, but fits large dinner plates and family size casserole dishes, tupperware containers etc
Microwave.
I hadn’t realised that it would have a dark interior. The knobs are very smooth. Both make this slightly difficult for me to use. Hands need to be dry and grease free to operate the knobs which are also dark. Accuracy needs a torch.
That said it does what it should.
Good little microwave
Works well and is very slightly quieter than my previous Panasonic microwave. I bought it as folk said it was quieter. I tend to just use it to heat drinks and reheat and cook food. The ‘beverage’ button is pretty pointless as far as I can see as you have to press it 3 times for a mug whereupon it proceeds to heat it for 3mins, whereas you can just press the number 3 once and get it to do the same thing !?! Hey ho.

Good microwave from a well known brand at a reasonable price. It is quick and effective. A good size and easy to clean inside. My only minor criticism would be the numbers on the dial can be quite difficult to read being small, white and on black.
Looks amazing, very pleased with the aesthetics and the interior is super easy to clean. Have not had any issues so far, definitely outperforms our old unit when it comes to preparing popcorn (a common issue with some models). The microwave is extremely intuitive and easy to use with a variety of preprogrammed timer/settings. The countdown timer is also quite futuristic, indicating time frame intervals. In conclusion I’d say it’s a solid contender for this price range.
So the last microwave we’d had for years. I’m not sure we ever really cleaned it properly as it dawned on me it was utterly revolting and beyond saving. So, that went in the bin. Didn’t want to spend a fortune, don’t think you should have to for such a cooking tool
Turns out you don’t. This wasn’t the cheapest but was well down there. It’s so far so good. Heats stuff. On time. So that’s good.
It’s pretty light weight so I got in unpacked and up on a shelf in the garage pretty easily. It seems to work well. Timer is fine, heat level.is fine, and not overly noisy. The light inside with the door shut is dim so you can’t really see what’s going on in there, but it’s pretty obvious it’s getting warm; or hot depending what you chose. I have no complaints so far. You can gwt enough in there so good capacity. I mean who wants to put a whole chiken in there, if you do, don’t bother with this one it’s not that big. It sits nice on the side and ain’t gonna wobble. Makes a sweet ping when it’s done. Yep, so, all in all, good value, works well, looks fine. Decent overall pop de ping.
UPDATE: really happy after a few weeks of use of this. The controls work perfectly well, the ping at the end is pretty loud. I’m liking it.

This combination microwave is a great purchase on many levels.
Firstly it looks slick and stylish and stands out in any kitchen.
There’s a built in air fryer which cooks bacon in less than 5 minutes.
Heats meals up thoroughly and throughout the food.
Haven’t used all the functions as it’s bakes, broils etc…
It’s a game changer for me being in my kitchen, I now need to take advantage of all the functions.
You could prepare most meals with this gadget.
I paid 200 which i think is value.

I originally had this model years ago, so when after sterling service it started failing , I reordered another. That arrived on time and with packaging pristine. opening 2 sturdy boxes i got the unit out of its styrene, wow I was stunned, it looked as though it had been in a rugby match, AS THE BALL ! edges dented and front left bottom corner well and truely stoved in. It had obviously left the factory beat up as all the packaging was perfect. contacted Amazon who arranged free return, and delivered a new one next day. This one inperfect condition, this unit easily meets my original review.
Microwave ove
Bought to replace a microwave oven that only lasted 2yrs. This one seems to have a lot more power, and was half the price of my old one. Really pleased with it so far.

Bought as a replacement for the gas oven which my elderly mother was finding difficult to use. However, she finds the wording on the microwave’s control panel difficult to read. Other than that, the appliance does the job as a micro, an oven and an airfryer.
Basic no frills microwave
This is a simple no frills basic micrwave oven. Easy to use, small and neat. easy to assemble.Timer is fairly accurate, numbers are clear but it would have been better if there had been a thin white line or dot on the side of the knob to line up with the numbers. I ran it empty as a trial when I first got and the outer casing got very hot, however when used normally with food in it the casing stays cool. Does the job and food is hot.
Bought it so I could cook 2 meals at the same time as this could not be done in my combined microwave, grill, convection oven.
Door opening is small
Nice looking microwave. The internal dimensions given for this microwave are 30.6 X 30.4 X 20.6. Sadly we had to return as the door opening measures only 17.5 high by 27.5 wide (i though it was going to be 20.6 high). All the inside walls are curved giving the extra size but are not usable as you can only use the max size of the turntable width anyway. Anything that you put in it has to be no higher realistically than 16cm. Sadly no good for me.
Great ‘basic’ microwave
These reviews are confusing because they lump together reviews for a range of models.
I bought the basic microwave unit and am v pleased with it. Looks smart and extremely easy to operate. Function seems good with even heating in operation.
Its very quick compared with my last 800W
I bought this for the “Quiet” button but have not managed to get it to silence – and work at the same time.
After over cooking a few things I went to check what was the wattage and i could not find it on the machine at all but apparently its an 800 same as my last one.
Other than that its idea size etc you can get a whole dinner plate in it but its not too big overall.
Right price for basic microwave. I personally don’t like microwaves I prefer old style ovens, but my daughter loves it.
Always had high opinion of Toshiba brand, we still have a Toshiba TV ,15 or more years old. I think they used to advertise they go on and on and on. Don’t hear much about them now perhaps brand has been bought by someone else. You know where everything tends to be made these days.

I purchased this product in replacement of my 800W Samsung Healthy Steam 23L microwave which unfortunately stopped working.
I was looking for a slightly more powerful one, and I discovered this Toshiba one on offer.
At first I wasn’t sure if the additional features of airfry, broil and bake would be a bit of a gimmick, but I decided to give it a try.
I was really impressed with how sleek the Combi microwave looked in its black and silver finish with a neat and simple display.
It came with 2 metal stands and a cooking tray which I found useful for pizzas, frozen snacks, pastries, battered / breadcrumbed fish, chicken, fries, meatballs etc.
It does take a while to get used to the different settings, and I am still figuring things out.
Unfortunately the instructions are very limiting so it doesn’t give much guidance on food settings.
There is a quick reference guide on the inner edge when you open the microwave door. It lists a few examples with settings to use, so I like to use this as a rough idea.
It would have been nice if there was a booklet included with common foods and various settings required.
It does take some experimentation. I have had a few failed attempts, and over cooked dishes. This Combi cooker is very powerful, so
my advice is to pause the cooking process and keep checking your food.
One of my favourite things is that you don’t need to wait for the device to pre heat like with a oven. It saves a lot of time.
I am very pleased with my purchase and love the multiple features. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new microwave. The additional features are an added bonus and extremely useful when you know how.
My previous microwave (a different brand costing about the same), had to be replaced after just a couple of years as the plastic coating inside was flaking off leaving exposed rust. I’m pleased to say that this one seems much better made and the door closes with a satisfying clunk; it’s also much quieter than the one it replaced. It’s a fairly standard no frills device that allows per second timing and has a few special settings, although oddly no bread defrost button which I use a lot. I also think that all microwaves should display the power output on the front as it’s easy to forget and a faff to spend longer searching for the manual than it will take to cook the ready meal you have in your hand; the previous one did, this one doesn’t. All-in-all very happy with the purchase for the price.

Few gripes.. The door opens exactly level to the side which is a bit annoying sometime when adding big itemsremoving.
The microwave seems to Get a lot more steamed up than my last one.
The text on the buttons is tiny and hard to read… Fine once you know them but 1st time users would struggle to identify what does what.
Pretty decent overall though…
Good machine but no recipe book or decent cooking instructions, absolute zilch customer service. The oven works very well but the instructions for use have been written by someone who has used the machine regularly and is very basic, and is not very helpful in providing examples of basic recipes and cooking techniques as most ovens do. I had seen it advertised on Youtube with a recipe book included. I contacted customer services to ask for said recipe book and the person at the other end told me there wasn’t one, she was also very unhelpful with regard to using and finding a recipe book. Complained to Toshiba, I spoke to friend in electrical retail whos said, “What do you expect from Toshiba they are extremely poor at comms and custtomer support.” I have kept the oven as it functions very well as a microwave and an air fryer. I am still scouring the internet for a copy of the missing cookbook or something that will help me use it to i’s full potential. Last time I buy anything from Toshiba!
This is a small, effective microwave with minimal controls – just two knobs: one for power settings, and the other for timing. It has no frills, no readout, and not even the usual digital clock! It does its job and the results are as good as the old, more complex microwave I had to throw out and which it replaces. The timer is wholly analogue and setting is from the dial only. It is approximate but adequate. It counts down and ‘pings’ when finished. If you open the door, it stops BUT doesn’t reset and the most infuriating aspect is that it starts up again when you later shut the door and then you need manually to return it to zero. The secondary irritation is the smoothness of the knobs. They is hard to grip unless hands are completely dry. So in summary, a good little microwave. Ideal for student or small household. Good value but very basic and with manual features most other models replaced with digital buttons long ago. For these reasons only 4 stars.

Haven’t used it much so far. (It arrived 1pm on Tuesday 5th Sept.) And I am still getting used to it. However I’m very pleased with the looks of it. It seems reasonably quiet. It will be used on a regular basis so cleaning seems to be fairly easy and it’s also stable where it’s been placed.

Quiet and easy to use
Love the microwave. It is quiet and easy to use. Love that you can press 1 for 1 min, 2 for 2min, etc. You can also set random time if you like, e.g. 1:45min. My previous one was rather large (25l) and took quite a lot of counter space, but compared to this on the inside there is not much difference, but on the counter is about half the size. It actually cooks faster as well. While previously it took me 3:30min for popcorn, now it’s ready in 2min. The only downside (more of a personal preference) is that you can’t lower or increase the time while it’s already working, but it’s not that big of a deal once you get the hang of it. The microwave is very quiet as well, if there is other noise in the kitchen, sometimes I can’t even tell it’s on. Price was great and even managed to order a second one on sale, which is even better.

In case anyone is wondering (as i wondered) how to activate/deactivate the child lock, press the STOP/Cancel button for about 3 seconds. Couldn’t find it in the instruction manual, so i tinkered. Took off one star because i had to figure it out myself.

We’ve had this microwave for around 2 years now and it has been as expected of a microwave. Unfortunately, the interior paint started bubbling and has gotten much worse very quickly (couple of days) . We’ve stopped using it now as we read that the this can be caused by rusting under the paint (can slightly see browning under paint) and will need replacing. Just expected more after 2 years…only got rid of my last one due to the colour matching in the kitchen but had that much longer!
Great easy to use digital microwave. My last microwave internal compartment height didn’t allow for rice packet to stand up, no longer have this issue. Looks smart only thing I would have preferred was a push button door as the handle seems large but this is just personal preference.

Neat and energy efficie
Bought this after reading the reviews. Although a compact microwave it suits my needs and doesn’t take up a lot of kitchen space. The instructions are easy to follow that even my teenage son can follow them and the fact each button is clearly marked. Not a bad price either compared to some who seemed to have Raised their prices substantially recently.
Seems good for the money. Appears sturdy and effective. I noticed a video review saying clock programming buttons issue. I had the same problem but then noticed there was a protective film ( hard to find and remove, but trust me there’s a film cover on the panel) – once I removed it I was able to use all buttons to programme the clock.

Stylish and good basic microwave. I only use for heating up, mostly cups of coffee and defrosting. It’s the same power as my previous microwave but seems to take a bit longer but that’s not a major issue. I would like 2-3 beeps when done rather than five, as it gets annoying.

I have had this Toshiba 800w 23L Microwave Oven for 3 weeks now and its child’s play to use and it does the job easily its only a basic microwave nothing else “no grill” but it cooks great what it does it does very well you can see clearly what is going on inside as it is very well lit nice & bright, all this and it looks very nice too, what’s not to like. Easy
It’s a microwave what can I say, it’s easy to use ..nice looking cleans good.
Ok, to start, first one was faulty, no power to it at all. I received replacement couple days later.
My last one was only 500w, so this is 100% quicker, makes popcorn at the touch (or 2) of a button. Bought to save money as cooker eats electricity. And it has already proved itself there, I was still in credit by 5, rather than 15 in the red, lol.
Now I bulk cook with cooker, vacuum seal and freeze, and have nearly instant ready meals, that take 10 – 15 mins to reheat, with no loss of flavour. Great for milky coffee and bread & butter pudding too.
I personally love the pre sets, and the +30 second timer.

Beautiful Item
I love this item fits whatever I want to heat it up. Looks beautiful! The only thing that bothers me is that loud beep (5 loud times) when the food is ready.
This microwave is easy to use, very much like me old one. I have used it for multiple different things, and no complaints about performance. Only issue is that it steams up between the door glass, and you cant see in…. this doe not happen all the time, but a tad frustrating when it does.

I bought this because my very old microwave kept stopping randomly, so it was time for an upgrade. I must say the only issue I have is the 12 hour clock. That’s a bit annoying, but other than that it’s doing a great job reheating food and coffees!!
Best microwave I have had.
I love this microwave it is so easy to use. The only reason I did not give it overall a five star is because my previous model (identical) started to have the coating peel off the bottom edge inside front , just out of guarantee. After much thought I decided I still wanted another one the same as I do like it so much and hope this was just one of those things.
A Capable Uni
By and large this is a capable unit which performs as you’d expect, albeit nothing outstanding. It says it’s made of black stainless steel – which, for the most part is true, but the whole of the front door is actually made from plastic and so does have a slightly cheap feel to it.
I would have given this five starts except for the following. The control panel does not light up, and at times I’ve found this quite annoying – it would have been a really useful feature. Secondly, there is no haptic feedback when you press the flat ‘touch screen’ like buttons. There is an audible input check, but some kind of physical confirmation of button pressed, would have been a nice touch. You do get used to it, but again haptic feedback would have been a welcome feature.
Decent enough
4 stars for approx 60 price we paid. Probably give 5 stars if you could get it for 50 or less. 3 stars at 70 or higher.
It does the job, definitely notice the extra height and width vs 20 litre models.
Legs do seem a touch fragile (as others have stated be careful to lift straight up before moving and not to drag the legs at all).
Bit annoying that you can’t cancel 5 beeps after it hits zero by eg opening door.
Quick start buttons are useful.
The door is making a very slight vibrating noise now and then after just a few months use, the kind of noise you can stop by slightly moving it. But nothing that suggests it is going to break easily. See what happens.
Size counts !
Bought to replace current microwave which is several years old and now making strange noises. The new oven is a good size and works very well. It is easy to use and certainly cleans easily. It is a good looking oven and does not take up a lot of space.
Good Value, no frills, microwave
It’s a reasonable priced (was under 70) 800W microwave.
The turntable and capacity is slightly larger than many other microwaves, turntable diameter 27cm, capacity 23 litre, so it is more capable of holding larger dishes.
You can see through the door (albeit somewhat dim).
It has one touch buttons for times of 30secs and 1, 2,3, 4 5 and 6 mins, and of course you can set any specific time.
It also has a memory function, where up to 3 timers can be set. So for instance I have set a 10sec timer which takes just two button presses.
Cons:
Time is displayed in 12hour format (no option for 24hr format)
Defrost options are limited to Time or Weight – no presets for particular food types.
The fan that extracts moisture seems very poor as the microwave fills up with steam
Reviews suggest that the electrics fail – so I took out the insurance that was offered.

I have basic needs from a microwave – heat, reheat and defrost. And this does exactly that. It’s easy to use straight out of the box. Not the same brand as my old one but has the same simple touch pad controls, e.g., quick start in 30 sec increments, time defrost, reheat dinner plate, etc. Can’t criticise it as it does all the basic tasks I want. And a good price.
One piece of advice though – do check the measurements. It is bigger than many other microwaves, so make sure you have the worktop/counter space for it. On the plus side, it’s very roomy internally so no issues with plates or containers not fitting in. Easy to use, all the basic functions I need.
I have basic needs from a microwave – heat, reheat and defrost. And this does exactly that. It’s easy to use straight out of the box. Not the same brand as my old one but has the same simple touch pad controls, e.g., quick start in 30 sec increments, time defrost, reheat dinner plate, etc. Can’t criticise it as it does all the basic tasks I want. And a good price.
One piece of advice though – do check the measurements. It is bigger than many other microwaves, so make sure you have the worktop/counter space for it. On the plus side, it’s very roomy internally so no issues with plates or containers not fitting in. I bought this for its A+ energy rating and I’m so glad I did. It’s very smart to look at and, whilst I haven’t used all the settings (popcorn, pizza, beverage) the standard cook and defrost buttons have been easy to use. I recommend!
