It looks very sleek and it’s good quality. There is a lot of space inside for oversized dinner plates and it’s easy to clean. The only downside is that it does condensate quite badly, meaning you have to wipe the inside door after using it every time. However, i don’t find that to be a huge problem.
Very happy with microwave, the large size makes a huge difference, we can put 2 different, decent sized cartons in at the same time. Easy to use and quieter than many microwaves.
Almost all microwaves are made at same factory and just re-badged for different companies.
This is like any other microwave and works well, simple to use, just hit the +30 secs button a number of times or key in the weight in grams you want to defrost and hit start button!
We’ve had this for 3 years and it has been used every single day, at times multiple times and we have had no issues. A good microwave that I recommend if you have the space as it is quite bulky. Love that is is grey inside so it is more aesthetically pleasing to my eye compared to the white one. You can also srr inside to check on your food but it’s a bit trickier. Only issue we have is that we just wish it did not beep 5 times when food is ready as it is quite loud and if you are trying to be sneaky you have to open the door before it reaches the 0 seconds target and there is no beep then… Apart from that, great! We don’t use it to cook food or defrost (we’ve used it in the past and it was ok we just are not used to cooking in a microwave), it’s been used only to reheat leftovers. We’ve also used it when our baby was small to heat up water in a container and then we’d put his milk baby bottles inside to warm up his milk. We’re happy with it.
Bought this to replace a Sharp microwave that after only a year the interior paintwork despite constant cleaning was peeling off and of a poor standard
This Toshiba looks good, has a much better control panel and works very well
It’s great, looks great and easy to use looks modern and I love going digital I feel posh. My old microwave sat nicely in the corner of the kitchen out the way, this microwave doesn’t fit there I didn’t think about it till it arrived it’s my bad but it’s a great microwave.
While using the connvection preheat oven setting, I forgot to set a time. When it got up to the set temperature I put my dinner in, and closed the door. It cooked for a few minutes and then stopped. Fair enough because I didn’t set the time. However, when I tried to turn it back on as connection oven setting, it wouldn’t let me (I followed the instructions in the pamphlet exactly). It automatically used the fan to dispell the heat out of the oven. Only when it had finished doing that, did it let me use the oven again. So it had to heat up all over again. Waste of electricity and time. You should be allowed to reset a convection oven function while it is still hot from its previous session. Hope you sleep this function on future models.
I ordered the stainless so the exterior was easier to keep clean, and so it matched every other small appliance in my kitchen? I got the black version… CBA to return it, as getting to a drop-off point is a mission where I live (don’t drive, plus I’m disabled). I also really need a microwave!?
You’d think with it costing a decent chunk of change, and being Toshiba, you’d get more than a single years warranty for it! It’s an appaling way to treat a new customer, but you won’t be getting any more purchases from me, for the rest of my time on this planet!
I have been using this for quite a while. Very easy to clean. Consistent heating throughout the chamber. Enough power to get frozen ready meals heated up In mentioned times. Looks good in the kitchen too
Everything is okay with this microwave oven just don’t like the fact that the handle is sticking out from the body!
All of my previous micro oven were handle free and opening by pushing a button therefore it’s just an eyesore. Didn’t realise it is this prominent until after a few days.
Apart of that it’s a great micro oven.
As it has only just arrived, it is hard to say more. My problem is more with the way the review, and the description part of Amazon works.
It is classed as a favourite in stainless steel microwaves. But only the front of the door is stainless steel. I was not happy about that.
Others commented that the heating element was exposed….. Mine does not have a heating element, so therefore is not a grilling version.
Others said there was no manual, but there was.
So having got the rant out of the way, my last microwave was a Sharp, and it died, so anything that arrived was going to be better.
The downside was not knowing what was arriving…. Did it have a grill? Was it an enamel interior? What was coming?
To the item that arrived was an 800w microwave with a manual. It is a clear and concise operator’s manual. Setting the clock (12hr, not 24hr) took less than 30 seconds.
It works, but rather than being stainless steel, it has a veneer on the front, and the rest is painted/enameled.
No grilling element.
But it works, it looks nice, and after all it is a Toshiba. So as far as the purchase is concerned, 5*
As far as the information given to allow me to make an informed choice….. I would have to try and find a negative status. That is a fault of Amazon, not Toshiba.
But I am overall happy with the price. It is more indicative of a non grill microwave. I am upset that it is not internally stainless steel, but my enamelled sharp has lasted a few years, so I expect at least as long a life from this.
If it blows up, or burns my house down over time, or causes me to grow an extra head, I shall adjust my review accordingly
Like machine..but instructions on front of machine.. to dark to read..even with glasses on. !! Even with magnifying glass…my only bug beat…..from.ken green.

We bought this to replace a slightly tatty microwave oven, the old one wasn’t broken – it just looked a bit dated and was difficult to keep clean.
The Toshiba looks much smarter and the stainless steel finish is much easier to maintain. It works percetly well and was a good price.
This does everything we need it to well, but it is really unattractive! It looks old fashioned and bulky. For the price in particular, I expected something much more modern and minimalist in style. Would have returned but I knew I wouldn’t have the time to sort the returns process as we have enough on moving house. But, I wouldn’t recommend if you want a nice looking item.

I purchased this microwave because my babies steriliser didn’t fit in my standard size one. It is really easy to use and does what I need it to do however i didn’t know it has a massive cage on the back of it. So luckily just fit on my kitchen side. Overall it is a good microwave but wish I would of see a picture of it from the side or back.
The bread doesn’t come out as flat as it went in, but easily remedied.

However, Amazon replaced the microwave the next day and I was able to send the broken one back in the same packaging. A very effective system. Thank you.

The controls are very simple to use and and the unlike some microwaves the door is very easy to open and close. The microwave is also very easy to clean.
Having a handle is preferable to the push button door opening variety. It is easy to use often with just one button operation. I would recommend.
All good, I’ve had it a couple of months now and the only negative thing to say is that the beeps to say it’s finished, and also the beeps for the useful timer, only happen once. If you miss them, no reminders! That said, I’m still very pleased with the quality and value.

Large capacity with handy minutes quick start. I did find one plastic corner under the packaging but don’t think it’s part of the microwave. Easy to clean.
This is a very nice microwave but it’s manual is poorly written, spelling errors and lacks cooking examples to illustrate how to use the various settings, otherwise would have probably rated it as 5.
I had to replace mine as it tripped all the lights!!! This new one is far better and only a little more in price

Bought for my 86 Yr old brother to replace the old analogue (turn knob) one he had. He has found it quite easy to switch to the digital time setting for his weekly prepared meal delivery.
Always bought much more expensive microwaves never did more than heat things up. Longest they lasted was less than 2 yrs. it doesn’t matter if this only lasts a year I’ll still have saved money.
It’s good and easy to use as a microwave. I’ve never had one before with a grill function so I don’t know how well they are supposed to work, but this one failed to heat up much even after half an hour, so I gave up. Something that I’d expect to grill in 20 minutes or so is likely to take a couple of hours. As a microwave though it’s fine.
This is the best Micro oven that I have bought to date, because of the grill, which is smaller and cheaper to use than my oven grill, It suits my needs and uses less energy.

Actually heats food not just plate, can fit large dishes in (30cm) which is do helpful. Nothing takes too long to heat up, really pleased with it.
Really pleased with this microwave. It is easy to use and the controls are clear and sensible. The timer can be set seconds as well as minutes and hours. Good size turntable. All in all a very good buy.
Oven stopped working, got this and it does a super job whilst using less energy. Still trying to work out all functions though.
Very pleased with this combination microwave, looks good easy to use. But I’ve nocked off one star because the figures above the buttons are a dull grey on a shiny black door and you get a reflection of the kitchen behind you, making it hard to see.
This arrived on time, well packed and looks good. It’s easy to use, more roomy than most. I particularly like the door handle and the auto 30 second facility. Very happy with it.
The controls take some getting used to but the instruction manual has helped a lot. The microwave and convection oven features are not bad – I’ve succeeded partially in baking a cake in the oven. The grill is rather weak, and I’ve had to use a combination of convection oven and grill to get my desired results.
My kitchen is small so worktop space is at a premium. The relatively small ‘footprint’ means it does not dominate the space. It works well and I’m very happy.
The only small diificulty I encountered was the timer , my previous very old micro wave had a timer based on 100th part of a minute while this one is based on the more conventional 60th of a minute .
We were looking for a decent microwave to replace an inverter microwave which seemed to be interfering with wifi. This is an ideal replacement, easy to use and ha dy features such as 30 second quick settings.

After searching for a compact yet reasonably sized microwave, I settled on this one. It looks stylish and does an excellent job with easy-to-follow instructions. Would probably be a struggle for a family, but is perfect for an individual or a couple.
It is a good size and fits dinner plates. Also has a dinner plate warming setting.
A very convenient one button heating for times up to 6 minutes.
Only has a few preset buttons, but one of them is jacket potato, so all is well.
Good value for money.
Although there are lots of technical options, it’s easy to use, and offers lots of options such as power, timing etc. Many more technical options, but for basics, I can’t recommend it enough. Good looking, too, and easy to maintain.
I’m happy with this product and it’s good value for money. Simple enough to use and all the features you can expect.
I don’t normally use the preset functions but I’m quite happy with the popcorn button 🙂
