Bought to help erase any little mishaps from the dog but it has proved to be a godsend. Wine and port spilled on the carpet attacked straight away and there are no stains left, sauce at a party dealt with straight away was completely removed and any doggy problems are immediately removed.
Would recommend.
So easy to set up and use, and the self cleaning system is fantastic – I was worried about it being smelly after cleaning cat pee but it flushes out everything. It’s quite loud but only used rarely so doesn’t matter. It’s small so easy to store.
Absolutely love this as my male cat tends to leave me a surprise on the carpet from time to time when hes upset so having this helps remove all odor without needing me to struggle. Only con is its kinds loud.
I cleaned a large rug in my living room with this, using another brush to work in the cleaning solution, as well as some oxy action spray. It took a good two hours and, as you can see, my carpet was clearly absolutely filthy. I couldn’t believe it…
For everyone who wonders, yes it does work, but you will need some extra elbow grease if your rug/carpet has never been cleaned. I hope if I use this once a month I can keep it clean and it won’t take so long next time.
My chairs were in very bad shape, with food stains, paint stains and water marks from previous half hearted cleaning attempts. This little guy has removed the water marks and food stains completely. The paint stains are also significantly less. I was considering getting a new set as they looked so bad. But now they’re so much better. Not new but we can definitely keep the set for another couple of years.
The carpet cleaning is equally impressive. Food, pen marks and makeup stains in my daughter’s bedroom. The first 2 have completely vanished, makeup stains have faded significantly. This has also saved us replacing it. I suspect it’ll do a great job on my other carpets around the house as well.
So for less than 100 I’ve probably saved myself at least 1,500 in new furniture/carpets. Definitely recommend!

It does a great job.
Only comments/observations
1; The vacuum hose is quite short requiring the machine to be lifted onto the sofa or car seats.
2: The clean and dirty water tanks need emptying and refilling often if a large area is being cleaned.
3; The water spray button often gets stuck resulting in the area to be cleaned getting flooded with water. I reported this to Amazon and was offered a replacement so perhaps it’s just my machine that has a slight fault.
Overall I’m very impressed by its performance in relation to the relatively low price
Love the new design and this machine is the greatest suction power and very easy to set up ready to go in minutes

The suction and spray are brilliant. My large Vax is hard to clean and can be streaky. This one comes apart easily to rinse every part of it. Great for pug mums like myself. Long power cable is a bonus too.

A great cleaner, easy to handle and compact to store
I bought this cleaner to clean all the carpets and upholstery after my cat got fleas, it was easy to use, did the job, although I had to keep filling it up with water and cleaner due to the size of the job. Not sure why I’ve never had one of these before, perfect and we are flea free!
Love this little machine lite and portable, iam disabled but i do rescue dogs i have 5 at the mo sometimes they do make a bit of a mess in all fairness so do we all lol x it does every thing i want thanyou for making it xxx
I love the way it removed the stains on my car seats. I had tried all sorts of products but none of them worked. Looking forward to using it on my stairs. My mats came up lovely and clean. Highly recommended.
I have an upright for carpets but can’t use for stairs – got this just for the stairs and love it – small tank for clean and dirty water, so have to refill/empty a lot but it is lightweight, fits on my ‘mid war years’ built house stairs and does a really good job.
This is the best thing I’ve ever bought for cleaning, I just used it to clean my car and this is what came out of it a little bit of water and cleaning solution goes a really long way you don’t need as much as you think you do
As you can see by the photos it did an excellent job. Easy to use. Suction very good. Desperately needed it for the stairs due to terrified dog during fireworks making a mess. The free bottle of 250ml only good for one tank use so recommend buying more at same time as you order.

Although I’m ashamed by these pics I have added them to show people how amazing I found this machine. We have pets in our house that are allowed on the furniture and although the sofa didn’t look particularly dirty this is the result from using the spot wash. So happy with my purchase.
Probably that is my best purchase ever works very good, I cleaned chairs, sofa and carpet on the stairs and bedroom and all looks amazing after that. Easy to use and clean after. Highly recommend!
This is a really good quality cleaner with strong suction. So handy when dealing with spills on the carpet. Saves a fortune on carpet cleaners. Very easy to use and easy to store away due to its compact size. Lightweight so easy to use on stairs.

Bought the VAX spot washer to clean small patches associated to common foot resting areas ie Couch, doorway, car carpets & stairs. Works as expected, easy to fill (with VAX solution. other carpet cleaning solutions wil suffice) & empty. Uses a spray/brush to agitate surface and excellent suction to collect fluid from wet area. Actually works well, but you need to be active with this for best results! Good size and would recommend for small areas/spills etc
Brought it for cleaning the push chair but now the wife uses it all over the house would recommend

Sadly I’m not sure the photos really do this product justice. However we’ve gone from sofas we were embarrassed of, to feeling like we have brand new ones! I’m really pleased I took the plunge and bought this. We’ll be using it on the car tomorrow!
It took a while to get the hang of how to get the best out of this little machine as the instructions are vague. However, stick with it as once you have mastered it this little diamond is amazing. I wish I’d taken before & after photos as I cleaned a spot on a light grey carpet that over the space of a year must have had around 4 drinks knocked over in the same spot from coffee to wine & it looked awful but this cleaner did the job it came up like new. My only criticisms are that the instructions could do with improving & I didn’t really rate the solution it comes with but the machine itself gets my vote
I bought this mainly for the sofa as my naughty dog jumped on with muddy paws. It’s fantastic my sofa came up like new. My son has since borrowed it for his sofa which is a cream colour. That also came up lovely
My first ever review, this machine is 100% great, i knew my carpet was dirty but actually horrified to see just how dirty, the machine lifted 3 years of dirt super easy, even some red paint my daughter spilled weeks ago that i thought would never come out, i have a large living room and its taken about 6 tanks to do half of it, maybe i spray a lot but i would rather use alot and have it look immaculate than try and scrimp. The vax solution is great but expensive, dr beckmann solution is just as good and more than 6 cheaper. Its very loud but that doesnt bother me.
This is a great extraction vacuum. I have done my hall and stairs carpet with great results. I have also used it on my cars carpets and upholstery the car was dry in less than 2 hrs and the hoover was perfect sized to get in and about the car. I cannot fault this machine it does exactly what it says on the tin. And gives fabrics a new lease of life.
Overall good but quite loud in use and needs elbow grease to get best results.

A carpet cleaner that actually cleans carpets! I’ve tried a few over the years and this is the best. Great price and compact. I will never have an upright cleaner again. If you don’t mind getting on the floor you won’t be disappointed. My white carpet is white again.
It is light, compact and easy to use. I tried it first on a tea stain on my mom’s carpet, gone in a few seconds. Then I tried it on stains on the cream bedroom carpet, these were old stains. In a few minutes it looked like a new carpet. I am planning to do my stairs next. Best 99 I ever spent.
You have to buy a big bottle of carpet cleaner due to machine uses it quite quickly

Very easy to use. I had hoped for better results but I can in fact see a difference from the first use.
You get a small starter bottle in the box but I had also already bought an additional 1 litre bottle. The 1 litre bottle does about 4 rounds. I had to buy more fluid straight away as the sofas quite big. The second purchase was the carpet cleaner version as you get an extra 500ml of cleaning fluid for the same price.
Unfortunately my first spot wash leaked but Amazon customer service and Vax where very happy to help sent me a new spot wash as they could not fix my old one and it’s fantastic and I’m wondering what I can clean with it next.
Was about to pay for a professional to clean my carpets for 190 and read a review about this Vax product. Made the purchase and thought give it a go. Always suspicious about how good these things are. Well, amazing simple to use and clean product – just brilliant! Cleaned two bedrooms , landing and stairs. Really pleased with results!

Best thing I’ve ever brought!! So easy to use, the suction is brilliant on it and completely removes stains. Someone spilt tea on my brand new carpet an this got it up straight away. The tea had been there for 3 days so would have stained an this has got it straight up. Would recommend it all day
