2 appareils achets en 2020, pile HS pour un appareil fin 2022. Aprs avoir contact le sav, on me propose un remboursement de 50% dans un premier temps, ce que je refuse. Aprs qqs changes, nous convenons du remplacement de l’appareil dfectueux, reu 5 jours aprs. Bon SAV !!

Had this up for some time now and it’s going great. Not over sensitive either. If I could give it 6 stars I would as it fitted my previous detectors screws! Yay!

Ce dtecteur est plus grand que mon dernier. J’ai eu du mal le fixer cause de duret du plafond; en plus il y a des instructions trs prcis de installation et cause de manque de place dans mon escalier je ne pouvais pas suivre les dimensions exact. Pour l’instant a march bien; esprant que a va durer un peu plus longtemps que ses prdcesseurs, c’est–dire deux ou trois ans au lieu de sept ou dix!
SAV au top
Je remets jour mon commentaire car j’avais mis 1 toile cause d’un de mes dtecteurs qui tait foutu au bout d’un an alors qu’ils annonce 10ans d’autonomie. J’ai contact le SAV de la marque et ils m’ont directement envoy un nouveau dtecteur car le mien tait dfectueux. Trs bon SAV ractif !
A déjà prouvé son efficacité.
Alarme forte et claire. Dtection de fume efficace. Plac au dessus du micro onde il a dtect la fume avant moi (j’tais pourtant juste devant) et a dj vit une belle cata (bouillotte qui a touch la grille de chauffe et pris feu).

A trs bien fonctionn pendant un an. Mais dsormais se met sonner n’importe quand, en journe, en pleine nuit… sans raison.
Pour l’instant notre deuxime de la mme marque fonctionne mais il a t install bien aprs. Donc voir d’ici quelques mois…

I was able to fit the alarm easily and I like the test every week option suggestion. I will be buying a second one.

Produit efficace et facile install ,cela fait le troisime que j achte les deux autres ont facilement un an et pour l instant fonctionne et une fois par mois je fais le contrle.

I was looking for a smoke alarm that I could mount easily without screws.
This is a perfect solution.
It doesn’t come with the adhesive pads but the smoke alarm has been designed to accommodate them which is what made me choose it.
Simply buy the Ecence smoke alarm magnetic adhesive pads (also from Amazon for 4.99) with this and the fit is perfect. So easy to attach and remove the alarm because it’s only held with a magnet. And no awkward drilling into the ceiling.
Couple of tips if you do intend to use adhesive rather than screws.
Firstly, the mounting plate that comes with the alarm still has to be used.
This confused me at first but the mount fits in a way that activates the alarm. So without it the alarm will not function. Important to know that!
The adhesive pads go on the back of the mounting plate and the ceiling. When you do it you’ll realise the alarm was designed to fit the pads I mentioned earlier.
Secondly. Ideally give the adhesive time to set before you put the alarm up. I put the one on the ceiling and other on the mounting plate and then left them both a few days before I attached the alarm to the ceiling.

I usually purchase another well known make but have found that they have never lasted ten years. So i liked the look of this one. And am willing to give it a try.

Bon achat, mais solution proposée pour la pose
La notice ne correspond pas l’appareil. Il faut cogiter un moment pour raliser que sur 3 ergots de fixation avec 3 possibilits de blocage, 1 seul assure la connection. J’ai failli renvoyer l’appareil comme ne fonctionnant pas. Mais part a , a marche parfaitement.

Achet pour en remplacer un autre modle…J’avais coll la platine au plafond, pas de souci, j’ai recoll dessus! L’appareil est trs facile monter. La notice explicative est trs claire mais c’est si simple qu’on n’a mme pas besoin d’elle. Le plus du produit c’est c’est piles intgres pour 10 ans. Pas besoin de se proccuper d’avoir les changer. J’ai pratiquer un test, l’appareil fonctionne bien. SUPER achat, je recommande +++
I good alarm, a little larger than some others but not excessively so.
My only criticism is that if you follow the mounting instructions when mounting to a wall, the text on the device will not be horizontal. It took me several attempts to get it horizontal enough to not upset me every time I walked downstairs. Some slotting on the mounting holes would help this greatly.

Matériel de bonne qualité
Le dtecteur de fume vous avertit en cas de dbut d’incendie. Il est aliment par une pile garantie pour 10 ans prfrable aux piles rectangulaires de 9 volts places sur les modles bon march mais qui reviennent plus chres sur la dure! Ce modle est assez grand par rapport ceux vendus dans le commerce en gnral, ce qui est pas mieux pour ma part. Je n’ai pas connu de fausses alertes ce qui est un dfaut souvent prsent dans les modles bon march.
Détecteur de fumée
J’ai cr que le dtecteur de fume tait vendue avec un systme de fixation aimant mais non rien dans la bote…. colis reu ouvert malheureusement…. dpos dans la bote aux lettres
L’appareil est facile mettre en oeuvre:
– il y a une plaque fixer avec deux vis (fournies), pour ma part j’ai simplement pos l’appareil sur une tagre.
– ensuite on place les 3 ergots de l’appareil sur la plaque et on tourne dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre
– et pour tester on appuie sur le bouton (mettez votre main sur le haut parleur pour ne pas avoir les oreilles abimes).
Donc on met en place et on attend 10 ans (dure thorique de la batterie), au lieu de changer la batterie tous les ans. Donc ce dtecteur est vraiment conomique.

je retire une toile pour l’encombrement est assez imposant, et pour la puissance sonore qui impose de placer ce dtecteur dans une pice de l’habitation et non pas dans un grenier ou un abri de jardin.

Petit bmol ! Support pos droit sur un mur vertical, mais quand l’alarme est fixe sur celui-ci,elle se trouve de travers. Trop tard pour revenir en arrire si je ne veux pas faire des trous partout…

Battery died after 2 years
It did it’s job but now I have to replace one after two years, not the ten as advertised
