Easy to fit. Easy to use on several apps. Makes you feel safe. Good that you can add on security items

Easy to install and a worthy upgrade.

After much deliberation, I decided to upgrade my existing Yale alarm system with something a little smarter.

Yale have made massive strides with their implementation.

You just to physically install the devices and then the rest is done from the app.

It was extremely straightforward to do and quite versatile.

The dashboard on the app is clean and concise. The information is displayed clearly, and it highlights your attention where required.

As it’s connected to the internet, I haven’t quite tested what were to happen if my internet went down.

I have uploaded several screen shots of the app and Yale have done a great job.

Easy to install + great app + worthwhile upgrade

This alarm was highly recommended in reviews and they were right. Very good quality, works well and easy enough to install – just follow the instructions slowly and carefully! Would recommend highly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe system is well made, well packaged and relatively straightforward to set up. The only issue I found was with the design of the door sensors. The shape of the door/window sensors makes it pretty much impossible to fit them to UPVC doors (or windows) without fabricating a packing piece. Yale really need to review their design of these sensors. Otherwise a 5 star product.

Didn’t realise how easy it was to install a system like this and I’m a novice when it comes to DIY. Really like the whole system and how it can be paired to Google/Alexa and used from my phone.

Fitted this myself, as I’m quite practical & handy – was very well packaged & nicely boxed, should have filmed the unboxing to be fair! The thing that wasn’t clear was the set-up. Yale could save so much time by having a QR code on the box that walks you through the set-up. Would still recommend this product, but you definitely don’t need an electrician for installation (sorry to you sparkies out there!) The whole set-up is completely wireless, apart from one part that plugs in to your router.

Not sure how long the batteries last, only time will tell, but I do also like the Yale app for this, again, just beyond me that they didn’t incorporate installation in with their app. You can activate & disable the app from your phone, & synchronise your Amazon Alexa, Philips Hue, or Google Assistant to the app as well.

Great product. Because i live in rented accommodation i used double sided tape to all items except the outside alarm. All worked brilliantly. Just take you time and read paperwork correctly it helps! Lol. The app works well and you can set it up to recieve text when an intruder is detected. Tested by forgetting to disable system one early morning coming home from work.
My only complaint is that the bleep from the hub. I cant get it to stop!. Also the online help guide isnt very good. Otherwise fantastic for the price!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis Yale alarm is so easy to install a 10 year old could do it. With the app on your phone it can be armed and dis armed, notifications are sent to your phone if the alarm has a fault or is activated. The only criticism l have, is the Door / Window sensors should be supplied with spacers to level the two parts up should you not have a flush frame with door or window.

Installation a bit confusing when trying to follow picture guide but not as bad as it seems I fitted the siren box first and everything else was straight forward remote arm disarm by mobile phone brilliant feature

all worked as it should and the app seems ok even though it doesn’t get a great rating on the apple app store.
    Would recommend.

Additionally, I did buy extra items and these were easy to add to it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought two of these Alarms for my sons for Christmas. They were really pleased when they told me the Alarm was so easy to set up and were already set up ready to go, amazing they said couldnt have been easier. They are going to get some extra add ons for their summer houses as the distance will easily reach. Would deffo recommend as good quality Alarm that works perfectly. I didnt just buy first or cheapest which this one wasnt, I researched the which magazine and lots of reviews which showed this one as one of the best wireless for what I needed.

Installed this a few months ago and have had no issues. The instructions could be a little clearer but the product is solid and effective. No rogue alarms yet.

Bit fiddly to install the alarm box and had to call the helpline to reset the control box. The user manual could include sections on troubleshooting and how to remove items and reinstall them. Like the range so it’s great for outbuildings too. Range of extra items to add but not sure what suits my system

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis wireless alarm is really easy to install, with no wires at all. All that is required is one plug for the alarm’s hub to plug into and everything else, door/window contacts, PIR’s, remote keypad and external bell box all use batteries so no wires. Download the Yale home app and you can receive alerts, turn your alarm on and off using your mobile phone or tablet and also edit the functions.

Have had a Yale alarm for years but with the changing of circumstances I needed one which was more flexible. With the IA330 my wishes have been answered. Extremely easy to set up. All sensors pre-configured so simply needed placement. One issue people may have is the range of the base unit. It says 200ft but this would be across open ground with no obstacles or interference. Alas, through a dual brick walled house and a serious amount of electrical interference, placement for the base unit is very important. I’m lucky that I’ve networked my home so I’ve managed to get this quite central to all of the sensors. But anyone wanting to secure garden buildings and only having the usual Internet hub which is more often than not in the front room may have weak signal issues. So advise here is if you don’t have the luxury of a networked home, get a cat5/6/7/8 cable which you can run along the edge of your room to put the hub in a position making it more central to all of your sensor placements and you should have no trouble. Even really long ones are reasonably priced here on Amazon.
That aside, the alarm is great. I love the convenience of being able to isolate specific sensors whilst leaving everything else fully armed. And being able to expand on the number of sensors up to 40 is so reassuring when it comes to securing a property.
All in all, I’ve found this to be a great all round product. And not having to pay a subscription is a huge plus. The email notifications are basic, but I’m informed immediately if sensors are triggered or when the system is armed and disarmed. If you combine a system like this with some security cameras then you get the added bonus of looking to see if a sensor triggered accidentally (well done kids for forgetting to disarm the door) or if it’s something more malicious.
Yes I would recommend this product. I can’t comment on Tech Support as I’ve had no reason to deal with them. Yes, I’ve read the comments, but I won’t be judgemental simply on hearsay (but fingers crossed)

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPoor instructions but I managed. Works fine including a garage 50 yds from my house protected. Installed after a garage burglary and West Mercia police officer who visited to advise on security said he has a Yale smart alarm himself… and he was very knowledgeable and experienced. A ringing endorsement!

I’ve had this fitted for a little while now and I’m very pleased, it’s really easy to set up and use, I had one little issue with a warning light on the hub, I contacted support, took them a few days to respond, but at least they did, fixed in no time, great ever since, bought some extras they too were so easy to add, would I recommend this product, I already have.

All parts seem to be of reasonable quality and all units connected and worked straight out of the box.
The only critism so far is that it is too easy to set the alarm from the remote key-fob, if its in a pocket, etc., as the alarm setting button is in the middle and raised up, so it’s very easy to press it accidently. Anyway, the App for the phone works perfectly and I will always use that in future to set and unset the alarm. I’m impressed with the technology.
