I’ve now purchased these dried mealworms from the same seller a number of times. They come in a large plastic container and are full to the brim of dried mealworms. The only problem is… the birds love them so much, that I have to keep buying them!

Never had any problems with these mealworms – our garden birds love them! Definitely no live creatures thus far although while the tub is settling the worms sometimes appear to be moving around, which can a bit scary. All good and no dust.

Have reviewed this item before! Will not do so again unless quality deteriorates! Excellent and 5.00 cheaper than the same size tub of mealworms that I bought for years. I purchase a tub every 2-3 weeks through the winter – do not expect to better this product re price or quality!

The birds are extremely impressed with these mealworms and they disappear very quickly . My husband left some in soak in our carport with an empty tin kettle on top. The following morning the kettle had been dislodged, the dish tipped over and the meal worms scoffed by a hedgehog. After that we put mealworms out for any passing hedgehog and they must have been very welcome during this hot and probably slug free summer.
I like the price, the fact that it is in a tub with a close able lid. The garden wildlife is happy.
These are great value for money. It’s hard to compare different quantities sometimes as many are sold in litres whilst other in KG. This is the best value I’ve found so far, it’s about the size of a bucket. The birds and hedgehogs (only small quantities for the latter as a treat), absolutely love them. A little goes a very long way.

The birds love this but I tend to mix it with other bird food such as sunflower seeds and other seeds to make it last longer otherwise it can work out pretty expensive providing a variety of food for the birds.
Since some sellers quote the price in volume whilst other quotes in weight. It is difficult to compare price and estimate how much I should purchase since it depends on availability of storage. Therefore,it would be a good idea to quote both with and volume.

Fantastic bird food – Our garden bird life is very busy when we use these dried worms – can be a little frustrating feeding a few persistant starlings but this can be sorted with various feeding arrangements – little and often – dont forget a shallow bowl of water for our feathered friends in this very hot summer –
Don’t put too many out at a time! Starlings think Xmas has come early and mob your garden until all the meal worms have gone

I imagine few people review mealworms but our garden birds love these. Just be careful if you carry them out on a dish – one gust of wind and you get a mouthful. Some birdsctake these from a feeder, others prefer to search for them on the ground.
