Very popular with all my birds, particularly blackbirds and robins, and good value.
This seems to be the most favourite meal for my garden birds and they get through the tub very quickly !
I put the mealworms in a mealworm feeder and scatter some on the ground for the robins.
Placed second order because it is the number one for all the birds…..they love these so much that I have to refill about three times a day !

The birds love these. I don’t understand what ‘sheerness’ refers to on the review score so have given it a ‘one’ rating.

Ideal treat for wildlife
Arrived in a reusable plastic tub which is easy to open and close giving a good seal, plus the birds absolutely love them.
I was in need of some mealworms and the shop I normally get them from was shut thanks to this horrible virus so I went searching on Amazon. I decided to order these as they seemed fairly good value for money and came in a good tub. I was pleased and have since ordered a second tub. The mealworms were in excellent condition, sometimes they can be very powdery if they haven’t been stored correctly and there were no issues on that front. The tub is very strong and if I had to fault it at all it was quite tricky to open first time. Once opened it was definitely easier from then on. Buying this way was slightly more expensive than my normal shop ( about 50p for 5 litres ) but the tub is stronger and the mealworms were in better condition. Only downside is the birds are knocking them back at a rate of knots….may have to ration them.

Birds love them. Starlings, robins and sparrows feed from the bird feeder. I also throw some on my lawn which all the above enjoy as we as blackbirds. The container is sturdy too. Will happily order again.

Wasn’t sure how big the tub would be but it’s massive, got more than I thought I would. Last ones I purchased were broken up worms however these were still whole and not in pieces. Birds love these so will def order agai

Birds loved them. Never had as many in the garden. Unfortunately my mechanism of supplying them also encouraged rats, so I’ll have to think again.
Great for nesting birds and chicks
These are absolutely great for nesting birds and chicks. Just be careful as they are sold in volume 5 litres not by weight. I thought I was buying 5 kilos, my mistake as i didn’t read the description carefully enough.

I bought the mealworms to feed to the birds that visit my garden.

… I’m assuming. Birds flock to the feeder and empty it each day.

Literally a full feeder of mealworms disappears in 1-2 days and this product offers decent value for money. Im buying those worms regularly, so maybe i would prefer it to be packed in a plastic bag to save few pence, but still this is much cheaper and no different to branded feeds.

Arrived 2 days earlier than specified. Bought the for our hens as they are difficult or very expensive to get hold of in Spain. Hens love them & will be buying more when they are eaten. Good sealable tub & no smell although tub is located in the seed bin by the hen coop.

If I left the whole ‘5 Litre Tub’ outside the Hedgehogs would gobble the lot.
I always sprinkle the ‘Mealworms’ in a circle on the grass – so a crowd of Hedgehogs can feed at once.
This stops the bullying which occurs if the ‘Mealworms’ are in one bowl.
However, I do put out a low – dish of fresh water for them to drink.
So I give these ‘ Mealworms’ 5 stars.
